“A great bar/restaurant located in Winfield near CDH. Fun and friendly atmosphere, attentive staff, delicious food, and good vibes all around. They have now added Cup Pong every Friday night starting at 10 pm as well.Whether you are kicking back after a long week at work, need a cold drink and a bite to eat, or want to go out with the family or your special someone, Caliendos is the place to be.“
“Still a very quaint and cozy place to come to. Plenty of parking, there's also outdoor seating. The last couple of times I've come they're very short staffed ,so the wait is a little bit longer than normal, given the workforce this is not anything abnormal. Pricing has increased a little bit but this is also apart of the inflation. The host and server were very polite and gave some good recommendations. The place was very sanitary and plenty of room to pick a spot to see wherever you like. Trying the new stuffed sauce pizza, it is deceiving and very filling!“
“Outstanding experience with Michelina at Pizza & Culinary Academy. Great stories, expert instruction, incredible recipes and delicious pizza. If you want to learn how to make pizza from scratch, this is the place to learn. I highly recommend their classes. Thank you Michelina!“
“I had a great evening at Vai's. The party room was fantastic. The staff was great and the food was outstanding. All the guests were absolutely delighted with their food. I really could not have asked for anything better. That's why it's the best restaurant in the city IMO. Thanks! You guys rock!“
“What a great experience. One of our daughters is gluten intolerant, and it was a delight to see a pizza place that took gluten intolerance seriously. We had a group of eight with seven different pizzas and everything came out in a timely fashion and was delicious. The highlight of the evening was the friendly & attentive service from Danielle. Highly recommended! #GlutenFree #GreatService“
“OMG!!!!! Can't say enough about the pizza. The flavor took me back to when I was a kid living in Desplaines. Romano's was my go to place. This was our first time trying Joe's Pizza it was outstanding. We will be back. Thank “
“Everything about this restaurant is amazing. Beautiful set up, very nice atmosphere inside and wonderful decorations. Service was great, our server was on top of it, super friendly, very kind. The manager came by to check on every table. Sangria was delicious. Would definitely recommend the zucchini fries. They have a Monday special which is half price all pizzas which is amazing because their pizza is so delicious and wood oven baked. One of the best pizzas in the area. Parking is not convenient. There is construction on the street currently so no street parking available. Closest parking lot is a 3 min walk or next best thing is the parking garage on the opposite corner. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a celebration or just a nice date night.“
“Picked up 5 16’ family pizzas that were steaming hot and delicious! We got cheese, sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon + pineapple and an Italian beef+gardinera. They were all a hit! With 20 people there were hardly any leftovers. Well worth a try here if you’re looking for good things crust pizza.“
“Ive been to Pie Life a couple of times already, and I can say its probably the best pizza Ive had in Illinois by far. Ive always prefered NY/NJ style pizza over Chicago, but its impossible to find anywhere that makes it right here, until I found Pie Life. They have a large selection of pizzas, all available in slices, 16" whole, or 20" whole. I appreciate the slice option because its a good quick lunch/dinner and not many places serve individual slices anymore, and not for this low price either. Its a little misleading seeing the slice premade then warmed up, but they put it in the oven, not a microwave, so I garuntee it still tastes immaculate (but obviously ordering a whole fresh pizza is even better!) I also appreciate the "what you see is what you pay" style pricing, the slices are $5, and you pay $5, nothing more. Their service is also some of the best Ive ever seen. Its a privately run business, and they truely make you feel welcome every time, they like to talk and are very friendly (the owners daughter is also occasionally in the restaurant eating pizza and coloring, it is very adorable). Overall, I cannot say enough about this place, I go to College of Dupage down the road, and for as long as I go there I will be eating Pie Life for lunch, great quality and value!“
“Their pizza is GREAT, but what really makes them stand out is their customer service. They carried my mom's order out to the car for her, and even sent her home with a little sample of their chicken gyros, which were also delicious! We will most definitely be back! We're excited to give the crepes a try.“
“I always feel like maybe there is about to be something going sideways in this place. The pizza is pretty true Jersey style and the sausage is not the type we here in the midwest (known for our sausage) are used to. But on the whole, it’s very good pizza.Little non-pizza criticism… watch the language. Lot’s of cursing going on. Some folks are probably offended by the f-this and f-thats going on. It’s not Jersey.“
“Real deal Italian spot. From the outside looks like a convenience store with Illinois Lottery displays but when you walk in, a classic Italian deli/grocery shop with dine-in area, a large spread of pre-made sandwiches, desserts, other homemade goodies, and a fridge/freezer full of take-home food and meals. Also nice to see they have a drive-thru. Pictured here is a 6" Paesano on their homemade bread with everything on it as well as hot giardiniera. Subs are made-to-order and you can see the cooks doing so. Meats are nicely portioned and the sub itself was not overly stuffed. Ordered this as a combo (which I could probably do without next time) which includes a bag of choice of chips and a fountain drink from the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. Definitely want to try out their Serino Special Sub, Eggplant Parmesan Sub, Caprese Sub, or even their Pizzas next time. Their cannolis and cookies looked to die for so will need to grab those also.“
“It was a great experience! We haven’t ordered from Rosati’s in a long time and it hit the spot and the kids loved the breadsticks!! We’ll be back again soon! Thank you!Kid-friendliness: The Rosati’s Breadsticks were different than the normal style breadsticks and the kids liked that they were bite sized.“
“I moved here from Chicago recently and was looking for a new pizza spot. The menu offered a wide variety of pizzas and Lasagna pizza looked nice so I gave it a try. It was absolutely delicious!! Every component from the dough, to the sauce, to the toppings were excellent and worked perfectly together. I 100% found my new go-to pizza place and am craving another pie as I type this review.“
“Had myself a slice of cheese pizza, a breaded steak sandwich and a cannoli and it was all very delicious! This area needed a place with slices hot and ready to go that isn't a gas station and I couldn't be happier with the quality of this place! Will be my go to heading to work for a slice! A week later I got a 16" pizza half cheese half sausage and it was cooked to perfection. A lot of other places I have to ask for well done but Legends knows how to do it without even asking! The mozzarella sticks and breaded mushrooms were also excellent. Highly recommend and will be coming back frequently!“
“From the moment we stepped into Pizza Twist, we were greeted with the warm, inviting aroma of spices and freshly baked pizza. This isn’t your ordinary pizza place; it’s a delightful journey where the vibrant flavors of India meet the classic, beloved Italian pizza. Every pizza we tried was a masterpiece of taste, blending traditional toppings with exciting, bold Indian spices and ingredients. The “Chicken Achari Pizza” was an absolute standout, with its rich, creamy sauce and perfectly cooked chicken, while the “Paneer Tikka Pizza” brought a wonderfully tangy and spicy vegetarian option to the table. The staff at Pizza Twist were incredibly friendly and passionate about their offerings, making recommendations that truly enhanced our experience. The ambiance was casual and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for both family dinners and catching up with friends. If you’re looking to twist your pizza night into an unforgettable culinary adventure, Pizza Twist is the place to go. 5 stars for their innovative menu, quality of food, and the warm, vibrant atmosphere they’ve created. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their unique creations!“
“Absolutely fantastic experience at Sarpino's on Army Trail Rd! The pizza was top-notch, with fresh ingredients and a perfect crust. The service was friendly and quick, making the whole experience delightful. I was recommended the Hawaiian pizza and it looks and tastes wonderful. Their attention to detail and consistent quality make this spot a must-visit for any pizza lover in the area. Highly recommend!“
“GIANT slice - as big as your head! seriously good value for the money - the pizza slice is great; it has the right amount of cheese, sausage, and a crispy thin crust. That and a drink is the best $6 lunch deal you will find. PLUS, they do a great set of salads.“
“I go here every once in a while, and the trip is definitely worth it!As I’m usually in a hurry, the workers are able to get drinks and other goodies made within 5 minutes.Overall their customer service is amazing and the space is super welcoming.Kid-friendliness: I’d say there’s a ton of stuff I’d recommend for the kiddos. They have lots of great cookies and cakes, as well as delicious smoothies to enjoy.“
“Unfortunately, the evening did not start off well. We were told that we had to wait for our reservation for atleast 10-15 min after our original time, even though we showed up early. Then after waiting, we were told another 15 min. Noticed that they seated other groups that were walk ins so I guess they were given priority. We had two young children who were starving so we decided to leave and just as we did, the manager came running after us and asked us to stay. They turned around a table and even through a pizza in the oven for the kids, no charge. The food was good, not great. Felt a little rushed as it was now kind of late for dinner and they were getting ready to close. Wouldn't mind giving them another try but will likely favor other restaurants over this one.“
“We absolutely love eating at and ordering from Brasi’s! The pastas are all so good, we rarely order pizza! My favorite is having their gnocchi with their amazing meat sauce. We’ve even catered our favorite dishes for a family party. I can’t recommend them enough! Plus, I feel like there’s always a coupon - so a very affordable night out!Kid-friendliness: We have young children who love the food and atmosphere just like we do! They are always welcomed and enjoy yummy ice cream at the end of our meals!“
“Let me first say, I enjoyed how small the inside is. An arcade game is also in there for a touch of timeless games. Brad had a nice vibe when speaking to him on the phone while placing my order. The other employees seem to also be friendly. I got a 14' half sausage half pepperoni with chicken. It slaps. Currently eating it with no ranch so that's how I know it bussin. If there isn't, I would definitely recommend some garlic sauce because that? On chicken pizza? Lawd. Next time Im coming in for a chicken bacon pizza ? ?“
“I stopped after work for an Italian beef sandwich. It's one of my favorites. And they can get it ready in about 10 minutes while I wait.Fabulous pizza also! I love the extra thin crust they offer. The people there are always friendly, it's a great local restaurant.“
“I tried out this place recently, and the pizza was pretty good! I didn’t love the mozzarella sticks and the sauce that came with -on the sweeter end. The restaurant is old-fashioned but very put-together and clean, and the service was outstanding. They have daily specials, including half-off pizza on Wednesdays and Saturdays!“
“I was very impressed by Fire and Wine. It has a casual vibe. Obviously a local favorite. Each dish was excellent in taste and presentation. Service was great! Both the hostess and server were happy to share recommendations of their favorite dishes. We had the black pepper shrimp appetizer and the pizza bread for the tasty sauce!! We enjoyed our salads and entrees. We were too full for dessert! As we left, I was impressed at how clean the restaurant was- even after serving such a large crowd. Nice place. Good culture. Recommend!“
“I decided to get takeout from this place since it was across the street from P Martin Jewelers. It’s a small restaurant with a handful of tables to dine in. Service was mediocre because it did take a few mins for them to acknowledge that there were customers waiting to order. However, service was great after taking my order and making my food. I ordered chicken parmesan dinner and breaded mushrooms. The portion size was very generous for the price. Menu prices are very decent. Breaded mushrooms were fresh and juicy. Chicken parmesan dinner was delicious, the chicken was perfectly cooked and moist. Pasta was tender and sauce was flavorful. Overall a solid 4.5/5. I will return to dine in and try the crepes and gyros.“
“Loved it! I think we've found our new favorite pizza in the area.Wanted something close by during the recent snow storm to be delivered. The pictures on their website made it look enticing. It did not disappoint. We ordered thin crust cheese sausage and mushroom. It was delivered hot and fresh.Thick with cheese and abundant sausage.Great tasting sauce with fennel, which we love. Thanks!“
“Their food is excellent! We had the best waitress, Layah! The only thing I do say is maybe turn the music down just a tad because it was hard to have conversations with the people we had at our tables. Other than that awesome place to eat great family time. The atmosphere is great and the food especially is wonderful Definitely recommend“
“Went shopping at outlet mall. Came across this pizza place on google. It had good reviews. The food was fast and delicious. Had pepperoni pizza and garlic bread sticks. Perfect place to eat! Defiantly will be the place to go to after going to the mall. We will be back when we’re in town! Thank you for great service and friendly staff.“
“Open, very, summery atmosphere! Feels like you're grabbing dinner on vacation to places like Palm Beach or Miami. Such a great place for a brief escape from Chicago winters. Elegant but still casual. Bright colors, nothing dark and dingy like several if the more old school Italian restaurants. Food is excellent! A good variety. I had the linguine with clans and I loved how it wasn't saturated in butter and garlic. Tasted like it does in Italy! Bread was fresh, beet salad was surprisingly delicious, and the Gelato was some of the best I ever had. We got hazelnut and pistachio. Coffee was good and strong. Service was good though we had to ask for several things which should have been already at the table, like grated cheese, salt and pepper, sharing plates should have come with the dessert as they gave enough spoons to know we were all sharing, etc. I've been here when it's jam packed and the service has always been great! This time it was less busy and we had to ask the bus boy for things. But, that being said, the waitress was very polite and immediately took care of requests when she was present. I wanted a table by the window and the host willingly accommodated us by making a 4 top for us. One plus from coming on a lesser busy time was that it was much quieter,l. Usually it's pretty loud in there when it's busy. But I always appreciate the uplifting vacation like atmosphere! I've never been disappointed, and this is probably my 4th time eating at Lucia Rose and will not my last.“
“I'm 100 percent Sicilian who was raised on the south side of Chicago. After moving to the suburbs I could never find a pizza that could match good south side Chicago pizza until I had yours. Unfortunately I don't live near by so I only get it when I visit my friend who lives in Bartlett .“
“Did a carryout of 2 calzones, ready on time, wow they were huge, well worth the price and very tasty! They were package very well too keep the calzones and sauce hot until we arrived home. Great food and they know how to package their carry out. I highly recommend Maciano's!!“
“My wife and I are gluten intolerant and Little Italian-West has great gluten free crusts and cook up the tastiest pizza in town! Both of our grown boys have always loved Little Italian and when they visit they always ask for their favorite Little Italian-West pizzas. Highly recommend!“
“Friday night is always pizza night in my house. My daughter loves coming to the "pizza store" with me to pick up our order...she's treated like a little celeb there and we love it. This past Friday was no different, so I wanted to give a shout out to the chef for making my little girl's night. We stopped in to pick up our order but forgot to ask for our free cheese. The store was bumpin' and while I didn't want to wait 15 more mins, I didn't want to be a burden on the kitchen. The chef saw I was with my daughter, and asked if the cheese was for her. When I told him it was, he simply nodded and went back into the kitchen. He came back out with my order, and 2 massive slices of cheese for my daughter. Not only is the food delicious, but service like that is why we go back. Thanks everyone!“
“Little Pops is the absolute BEST. Every aspect was perfected - the decor, friendly atmosphere, service, and food. The decor was NY and Italy themed, and looked awesome. The owner of the restaurant greeted us as we sat down and chatted with multiple tables. The service was impecable, even down to asking us how we wanted a side of banana peppers (grilled, raw, cooked). The cocktails and appetizers (strawberry mint drink, garlic knots, fried ravioli) were delicious. We tried the meat lovers and chicken parm pizzas and were absolutely blown away. I could write a review on the dessert alone too. The peanut butter pie and gelato were the best of my life. I will be back with all of my friends and family. Little Pops is a MUST.“
“We chose Billy Bricks to cater our wedding and cannot recommend them more. We loved the idea of elevated pizza for our wedding, it was a perfect balance of comfort food and wedding elegance. Billy Bricks worked with us when our guest list was unexpectedly less than the amount we originally predicted and let us tweak the package to fit our needs. Everyone raved about the food even months after our wedding, we don't regret our decision one bit.“
“My family were in last night celebrating my father’s life in his passing. We have been dining regularly since the 1970s at the Orland location. This was my father’s favorite pizza by far. Always a sausage, green pepper, mushroom & onion-IN THAT ORDER ONLY! Marnee took excellent care of us & the pizza was exactly the same as I remember it at Orland! Keep up the great work! Cheers!“
“Delicious food made with quality, fresh ingredients. The caramelized pear and onion pizza with the beat salad was delicious! I got the lunch special which was reasonably priced. The atmosphere/vibe is nice, too. If I could give 4.5 stars to food and service I would. I would definitely recommend to others and come back myself.“
“This is our family favorite pizza place, prices are great, service is outstanding and food is AWESOME, please don't waste your time somewhere else, if you are a pizza/Italian food lover, Generoso is a MUST, thank you Generoso for your great service and AWESOME food :)“
“Small pocket of deliciousness brought to you by genuine Italian family with friends. The delicate taste of caprese with homemade bread was scrumptious. Fried & baked panzerotti:The bread was soft, the cheese was ooey gooey & the tomato sauce was fresh and earthly. None of that canned salty sauce. Definitely must try more when we visit again. Forgot to take picture of the shrimp & broccoli linguine but also light & flavorful. You must try“
“The food was great. The gravy (marinara) over the meatball appetizer was better than mine. The arugula salad was lightly dressed letting the greens be the focus. Since it was entree sized the waiter suggested we split it. We also went with his suggestion and got the table side made Cacio E Pepe Bucatini. It was $10 more for table side prep, but they made it in a "bowled out" wheel of parmesan cheese which was entertaining, and delicious. I will definitely go back.“
“Great blend of ingredients on their sandwiches that meld perfectly together when toasted in their wood burning oven! D-lish! Their salads are great too - lotta greens, so you don't feel so guilty chowing down their pizza or sandwiches!“
“We have been here so many times in the past 23 years! We always get great food and service and never have to wait to be seated. We love to support this family owned business and we highly recommend them for others to experience this great place too“
“Great beer selection, highly suggest the beer flights. The pig wings are very good, wide variety of pizzas with different styles. Delicious sandwiches, love getting the yardbird. The coffee old fashioned on the brunch menu is insanely good! Highly recommend!!“
“Stumbled onto this venue via Google maps while wandering around Woodfield Mall and I'm sure glad I got the opportunity to try it.Not that Schaumburg is limited with restaurants, there's plenty around but I was looking for a specific pizza joint with high ratings & reviews that wasn't a popular chain that most ppl heard of and ended up here.Marino's boasts a great all-around menu with delicious food at still reasonable prices with a clean dining area and ultra friendly service. We live up in Beach Park in NE Lake County so time will tell when we'll be back if ever in the area again. Everyone enjoyed their food and that pizza was awesome! This venue is a gem and the residents of EGV are lucky to have this. Always try my best to support a local business and may the owner(s) have continued success & prosperity.“
“I'm from out of town. When I saw the Chicago Tribune wrote about this restaurant not once but twice I had to try it. Am I glad I did. I ordered the baked Spaghetti with meatballs. My co-worker ordered the 10" personal pizza with sausage. The prices feel like pre-inflation prices. Super reasonable, especially once you see the large portions. I could barely finish my delicious spaghetti. It included two perfectly toasted and buttered pieces of garlic bread. My partner loved the pizza and she specifically commented on the flavor of the pizza sauce being amazing. The atmosphere is old school Italian and quaint. The owner was beyond friendly and struck up a nice conversation. I'm in town until Friday and can't wait to go back. 6/5 starsVegetarian options: Pizza with no meat. Pasta with no meat.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza crust option.“
“We've been ordering pizza here for years and we love the pizza. The other night we got an extra large pizza in order mozzarella sticks and a Chicken Caesar salad and the total came back $59 . When I looked at the receipt more closely, the price of the Chicken Caesar salad was 17.95... this was not a gigantic salad this was a dinner sized salad for 1 person absolutely I... And I didn't get any dressing for this $18 salad. We will always order the pizza because my family loves it but the rest we may skip because of high prices“
“Jet’s pizza is hands down my favorite. Not sure what I like best: the ez-pz ordering on the app, the prompt & courteous delivery, or the overall perfect, delicious pizza. Their thin and crispy is just that - thin AND *crispy*! No moving these pizzas from the box to the heated pizza stone in the oven to crisp up the crust. It’s already perfect. And the Detroit-style 4- or 8-corner pizzas?! Take that to a potluck party and make new best friends. Keep it all to yourself and and enjoy every bite.“
“I've always been a fan of deep-dish pizza, having grown up in the Midwest, but now having lived in the south for decades. Life has brought me back to the Midwest, and to the mecca of deep-dish pizza, Chicagoland. So of course in the first few days of moving into the Geneva, IL area, I had to find pizza. Deep-dish pizza. Piled high with meat and cheese, weighing a pound per slice, forced to eat it with a fork. They do call it a "pie" after all, and I've never tried to "fold" or eat any other pie with my fingers...so why should a "pizza pie" be any different??? Yelp sent me to Charlie Fox's as a close-by option, and it didn't disappoint. Ordering over the phone I told the employee I wanted "deep-dish" and he said, "You know we do 'pan' pizza. Is that going to be okay?" After confirming it would still be an inch think, I doubled-up on both the meat and cheese. I was told 30 minutes. I arrived just a couple of minutes early, so the wait was minimal. These things can't be rushed, after all. In the meantime I looked around the small, unassuming shop. Just a couple of tables, but the two guys working behind the counter were friendly and helpful. I was told to make sure to hold on to the coupons that came with my pie, and when I told the man working the counter that I had just moved into the area and it was my first time there, he made sure my order was right. Even another customer, watching them cut and box my order said, "Wow...that looks good." I wasn't disappointed. Hot, with gooey delicious mozzarella clinging to every slice, the dough cooked just perfectly chewy, my partner and I gobbled down multiple slices. I'll definitely be going back. The service and food were both top notch, served out of a basic but clean shopfront! Five stars!!!“
“I don't want atmosphere I want great pizza. Whenever I'm in from out of town I always stop by not only pick up a pizza to eat while I'm here but a couple pizzas to take home with me back to Iowa. Don't change the pizzas guys God bless you!“
