“Halloween weekend - busy place and seemed a bit understaffed as our server was managing several tables as well as making drinks at the bar. However, service was timely,efficient and cheerful. I split a sandwich with an accompanying friend and our server very thoughtfully had split the check and our drink orders without us even asking- very impressive especially on a busy night! We had the Cuban and it was well prepared with crispy bread as it should be. Prices are in line with quality and quantity. Their cocktail menu is fun but most importantly the cocktails taste good. Setting is quite casual and can tend to be noisy. My only negative is I wish they had fries!“

“Came out to the area for a work trip and wanted to get some sushi. I looked for a few places nearby and found this place.  The photos of the sushi looked really delicious.  Located right off the road.  They added more parking space in the back of the restaurant, and the outside area looked really nice. We walked right in, and the lady greeted us right away.  She was very nice. And the place looked up to date.  Not busy at all when we came in.  The waitress was very nice.  Got our drinks right away and order as well.  They had a special buy 4 rolls get one free.  Ended up getting: 007, Big Mega (Jumbo Size) Deep Fried, Kamikaze, Lobster Roll (cooked), and the Jurassic Park.  I want to say OMG!! The rolls were HUGE!!!  But it's definitely worth it.  It's probably one of the best sushi I've ever had.  It's worth the drive if you're kinda far.“

This establishment is kid friendly, but most adults choose family time here during the day or dinner. “We get the “sushi/sashimi boat for two” at Kyoto at Edwardsville so regularly that they know John by name when he walks through the door. Last night, they said something like “Happy to see you again, Mr. Cullen. We did a little extra with the flowers for you and your wife.” That right there is exemplary customer service…and beyond delicious! “We have been going to Gentelin's for about 10 years and the food is consistently excellent. My wife and I were there last night and we both had the filet mignon. I also ordered a crab stuffed portabella mushroom to complement my steak. Talk about YUM! Ryan is the owner and chef, and he takes personal ownership in maintaining the outstanding quality of the food. He also has a special talent of bringing together the right ingredients to make each menu item wonderful. A recent example is the Crabmeat Stuffed Chicken - to die for! The salads are also very good and they offer a $5.00 appetizer from time to time, last night's was Philly Cheesesteak wontons, yummy and very creative! The food always comes out in a timely manner and is always the right temperature. They also have a very good beer, wine, and drink selection too. Ryan has assembled a GREAT team and Beth is our regular server. She is outstanding, professional, and very attentive to our needs. We have had other servers when Beth isn't there and they too are top notch. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the Mississippi river for added ambience. Great beer, great food and the options for one of our kids who has several food allergies puts this place at an easy 5/5 review. “This place was great. The price was good, the food was amazing.I had the Nutella banana pecan french toast. (Without pecans.) The only recommendation I have is to add cinnamon to the french toast mixture. And if there already is some, there should be more. (I didn't taste any.)My girlfriend had the eggs benedict and enjoyed it. This was her first time having this dish, so she is excited to try it from other places. She was confused about why it came with tomatoes (and another topping..I can't remember). Nonetheless, she enjoyed it.We got my grandma the 3 pancake sample to go. She enjoyed it. “I am traveling out of town for work and I was wanting pizza and I saw this place on Google Maps, I have never had it or heard of it. I can say based on my one visit this is easily the best pizza buffet I have ever had. There was a very large variety of pizza and they were all good that I tried. They have really good sweet tea as well which is nice. The quality on a pizza buffet is usually questionable but I was genuinely impressed by this, highly recommended“

“I travel I-70 a lot from Indiana to Kansas. Was looking for something different this trip, found it in Uncle Linny’s! Just off of 270, east of St Louis, in the town of Granite City. We had the Walleye which was outstanding. The salad bar is small, but clean and fresh. As you walk in there in, is a dessert counter that is irresistible. Great Mom and Pop place a short drive from the 270 bypass, exit 6.“
