The complimentary bread seasoned with olive oil, herbs and parmesan cheese was the best I have ever had. I was disappointed in the Chicken Marsala. It was bland and lacked the rich flavor of the same dish I have enjoyed at Carrabba's in Baton Rouge. We will give them a 2nd try though.”

“edit to update: i recommend loactions otger than this one.after talking to someone at corporate they acknowledged this manager and her development opportunities needs to be addressed. they did resolve the situation at the corporate level. We went there tonight for my daughters 16th birthday. there were 13 of us and we were fine with the 1 hour wait. There was an older man working there that stayed he could get us set in about 15. when he said something the the female manager about it, she told him NO that she already told us an hour. he was very he was visibly upset as we're supposed to be his table. We waited our time to be sat. the server came and took our order and when they came, she didn't remember who ordered what, (13 person party it happens). refill time on drinks count remember who was drinking what. none of our orders had their potatoes in them. they did bring us a plate of potatoes after we pointed it out. asked for silverware three times , it never came. so I minded my business and when it came time to pay, our drink orders were messed up and on each other's bills. I politely asked for the corporate number, telling her it was nothing against her , just the experience as a whole. she asked me what was wrong with the service. she went to get the manager, at this point I went outside. the manager came to the table very abruptly asked "what's the problem". when the tables explained she stated we got out potatoes. took one of the cash paying people and had the nerve to ask if they wanted their change. no apologies, no offers to do anything to amend any of the mistakes. and that's fine. it was the VERY NASTY demeanor she had when addressing the issues. WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN AND I SHOULDVE WAITED THE HOUR HALF AT SEIGEN. That one is where we usually go and ran way better. I half expect a nasty reply to this. Also they were supposed to give my 16 yr old some beignets, but those never got brought either. easily a $300+ 13top.”

Wasn't too fond of my ribeye steak (good seasoning, but tasted more like a sirloin). Another guest in my party ordered sliders, and food arrived cold much later than expected so it was returned. A second guest ordered a mixed drink and it was forgotten but eventually brought on over after a reminder. We still tipped a great rate for the waiter who assisted our table of 3 adults because he was back and forth quite a bit. My recommendation is to have your party of guests to all order something different so all of the foods can be compared.”

“From the woods to the grill within a week!! Day’s didn’t just smoke the sausage but they have to be the most efficient at processing a deer! We dropped a deer off on a Monday at 6am and it was ready to be picked up that Saturday. When I dropped it off the young man working made sure what I wanted was correct 3xs. I could tell he actually cared about his job and getting it right. Quick drop off and when I picked it up I got the same process. 6am pickup (I’m an early bird) Everything was separated and packaged so neat. Worker loaded it all up and I was gone within 10min. We used to just process it ourself but we wanted burritos and smoked sausage. Our scheduled just don’t leave the time for us to do it. Grilling sausage tonight at the deer camp within a week. Highly recommend!! 🦌Happy Hunting!”

I always loved this place but this amazing salad might end up being 3 meals for me. It weighed a ton! If you haven’t tried this place, you are missing out. “We celebrated my mom’s 50th work anniversary there this past Saturday. They accommodated a huge party. Everyone received their drink and food orders timely. No mistakes on the bill! The servers were so accommodating, friendly, and go with the flow! I know it is super hard dealing with people shouting out orders at you constantly, but they did amazing!! Shout out to them! The hostesses were super friendly as well. We have no complaints at all!”

“Arrived at our hotel and started looking for nearby restaurants. After reviewing a good number of options and checking out the menu and prices at various places, opted for this restaurant. Nothing short of outstanding from a food perspective. They offer a combination platter for $10.25 which included pork fried rice and a roast pork egg roll AND 48 choices of chicken, pork, beef, or shrimp items. And, there are dozens of other menu options besides the combination platter. Food was very tasty (beef & broccoli for me; sweet and sour shrimp for my lady friend). This is a small, casual place; nothing fancy and located in a strip mall with several other options. We would definitely eat here again if we return to this area. \n\nAs a side note, while we were eating at the restaurant, there were at least 15 people who popped in to pick up a take out order. \n\nA worthy place for palate, tummy and budget.”

My family and I have enjoyed visiting this location over the years with friendly staff and excellent barista's, many of whom we've became great friends with over the years. Recently over the past few encounters with one of your staff members (Grace). We have had horrible customer service and drink preparation. I was hesitant to file a complaint before because she was a new face and learning, but this has been repeated behavior happening over the past two months of encountering her (Grace) during her shift.

When ordering our drinks, we ordered a kids minisippi. At the window she repeated the drink as a mochasippi. I repeated that the drink should be a minisippi just to clarify that the drink would be caffeine free, and was given a bothersome annoyed look before Grace confirmed that it was a minisippi drink. This does happen sometimes occasionally with other staff when they repeat the order, and I'll verify with them in the same manner. The only difference is the staff if friendly and happy to confirm the correctness of the order. I do this for a reason because a newly hired staff once prepared the kids drink with the shot of espresso in it but the manager (Haley) at the time caught the error and had the barista remake the drink.

Grace then walks away from the window aggressively closing the window in my face. When she finally returned to hand half of our order of prepared drinks that the barista had to complete on her own, she asked if I had my other drink. I told her no, and began to ask for straws and sleeves for the drinks she just handed us, and she turned away again slamming the window in my face. When she returned with the final drink, she asked was there anything else I needed. I told her yes, before the shut the window in my face I was asking you for the straws, sleeves and a few extra napkins. She appeared unworried, unbothered or unapologetic about her actions or attitude which ultimately prompted me to write this review.

I don't view the actions of this one person as the standard set by CCs or this location, but better training, guidance, and hiring practices may be required if this is where things are heading. It pains me to write this review because I have a high tolerance for bs and patience, but feel this needed to be highlighted with regards to staff member Grace.

On another note, Haley, Josh, and the majority of all the staff members I've encountered at this location are great and exhibit the type of service I expect during a visit when I'm craving my CCs.”

“This is one of the most happening place in ALLL of Denham!! Thought it was some hillbilly biker spot, until my husband's cousin Ernest Scott invited us to a show his group was giving there. “Went to James Restaurant in denham springs la. In hopes to get good food. I was saddened because I paid 17 dollars for a 1/2 cup of old red beans that were not cooked and no flavor.They put a small piece of sausage on the top with a 1/3 of rice. I also got a very small portion of nasty cabbage and a small portion of box mashed patatoes. I could have went to longhorn steakhouse and got a nice steak meal for less and a whole lot better food. I can bet the cost of the food I got was about 2 dollars worth!”
