“My wife and I went there for the first time last night and it was terrific. We were seated outside and there was a nice cool breeze and the music playlist was outstanding. The food was delicious and the chicken parmigiana was HUGE!! Our server (whose name unfortunately I can’t remember) was very friendly and attentive and did a great job. I highly recommended”

We went to several other Sushi places around mid afternoon, finding out that they were closed and wound up at Twin’s place. She also introduced us to a complementary Emory salad that was awesome! “We had Creole Tomateaux at their food truck in Slidell at the craft fair. Absolutely delicious! The portions were hot and generous. The staff was so nice. We ordered the steak and cheese po’boy, fried green tomatoes, and shrimp tacos. The green tomatoes were crispy with a bit of spice. They were perfect. The steak and cheese was just the right amount for me and another to share. The bread was so fresh tasting and the steak was actually slices of perfectly cooked ribeye. It was heaven. The shrimp tacos were wonderful. The tortilla had a nice crunch and warm delicious cheesy center. They were eaten so fast I didn’t get to try any! If you ever see this pop up food truck, definitely stop whatever you’re doing and get some authentic Creole cooking!”

“Really nice trio of young men working in there this evening. Took my picky daughter in and they made her a custom smoothie she enjoyed. They had a few people in line and they rotated us through quickly and efficiently each doing a task and got us in out and fast. They were all super courteous. I asked 2 of them their names, Dominic and Mikey...not sure what the other name was.. he was blending another smoothie as when we were leaving. Just wanted to give a shout out to them all as they were all great. Job well done Smoothie King! We'll be back.”

Try their birria tacos (they have specials on Thursdays for that for a discounted price.) The ahoggados are insane!!! YOU HAVE NEVER EATEN ANYTHING THIS DELICIOUS!! The service is just right, not too in your face but not going to just abandon you either. We have tried different sushi places all over the area and there is always something lacking whether flavor service or consistency. Highly recommend!

Vegetarian options: You can get custom sushi but they have several rolls that would be vegetarian friendly.

“Grew up on the Westbank with McKenzies king cakes and bakery goods. Had one I could ride my bike to and loved it Krummels reminds me of it so much! The king cakes are absolutely amazing and are the closest I have found to those classic McKenzies cakes we all loved (and yes, I have tried the “old recipe” versions as Tastee in Metairie.) Walking in causes the memories to come flooding back, the air even feels the same inside. Highly recommended”

“I want to thank the baristas at the PJs coffee in Mandeville. My husband ordered a white chocolate mocha at the Madisonville location and after we were several miles down the road, tasted it and it was NOT a white chocolate mocha but regular coffee and cream. We were already in Mandeville before he realized so we went to the location near Girod. The baristas there made it right and made my husband the drink he should have gotten at the Madisonville location. We love the Mandeville location and will continue to go back because of the excellent customer service. 😊”
