“Me, my son, and my mom, went to Pardo’s today on Easter brunch for my son‘s Birthday. I read reviews, and Brianna was mentioned over and over again as an outstanding waitress, so we requested her. She was on top of her game for our entire experience! She was full of energy and made our experience fun with exceptional service! She made the table, extra special with napkins made of roses ? Little bunnies ? On top of the straws and even gave us an Easter card with a handwritten note inside!! The food was amazing. Everything she recommended was outstanding chefs kiss ?. “Everything on the menu looks so good!!! And the dish I decided on was phenomenal! They accomodated our large party with ease and all of the staff were terrific! Hands down a diamond in the rough amongst many a small genuine louisiana restaurants. portion was appropriate, just enough to leave my belly full and my wallet. FYI large parties have gratituity included, not mentioned on a sign or the receipt we received, although I'm sure it was a simple mistake, we had the sign here receipt but not the itemized one listing the automatic gratuity. Totally fine but my husband almost tipped twice on accident lol“

“The reviews are spot on you will not be disappointed. Food was amazing and large portions. I was shocked when they brought out the fruit bowl. Less than $7 for all of it!!! Best sausage I have ever had and the gravy was to die for. Mind you we travel full time around the US and this restaurant is in our top 10 now for breakfast. Our waitress, Amanda , was so fast and always made sure we had everything we needed. She said she has been working here for 18 years and the other waitress had been here 16 years. All the wait staff was checking in on our coffee so you never have an empty cup. We can’t wait to come back and try lunch. “Update: Just went today to get crawfish, gumbo and boudin balls. The crawfish were so good and well seasoned!!! I hesitate to go today because for the past 3 years, they have not been spicy at all. So I couldn't have been happier today with how spicy they were. They are always clean crawfish, decent sized and today, they were some of the best I've ever eaten!The boudin balls were very delicious. They were kind of like chicken fried, which made them so good. I picked up a quart of gumbo in the market as well... I was super pleased with everything todayGood reliable food!“
“While in the New Orleans area for my wifes birthday trip, we found this place while looking for great seafood on our way back to New Orleans from a trip to a plantation. Upon arrival, we were met by the owner, who was able to find us a seat on the restaurants beautiful and new dining porch overlooking Lake Pontchartrain. I highly recommend this restaurant for quality seafood and great service. The waiter could even tell he was serving some "Yankees" and had fun with the situation. “Very pleasantly surprised! My husband and I had a doctor's appt in mandeville so we stopped for lunch. I had the Ferdie ( roast beef, grilled ham, and Swiss cheese) hubby had the surf n turf (roast beef and fried shrimp) they both were delicious! Very flavorful roast beef, it just needed a little more gravy, which I asked for and the young lady provided with no problem. The bread was perfect poboy bread, IYKYK! The onion rings were real homemade onion rings and were delicious. The spicy cheese fries were good as well l, they definitely don't skimp on the cheese! The service was excellent. The young lady at the counter is finery customer friendly. She greets you when you walk in the door and thanks you for your service when you leave. While eating in she comes to the table to check on how you are enjoying the food. We will definitely be back!“
“Always enjoy going to times. We go there every so often. Maybe it's just the seasoning but tasted like things had a good bit of salt on the onion rings and the fries. But overall good times and our waitress was always checking on our table and letting us on food. I think her name was "Kasey" but can't remember.“

“Finding a place for breakfast on Christmas morning was a challenge, but thankfully Waffle House was there to save the day. As the only place open, they offered a warm and welcoming place. I ordered the fiesta omelette to go, and it was awesome. What truly stood out was the dedication of the staff. Working on a holiday isn't easy, but they did so with smiles and efficiency. A big thank you to the Waffle House team for making our Christmas morning breakfast a memorable one.“
“Staff is very warm and friendly. We arrived 3 minutes before opening time and were greeted very kindly, taking our order immediately! Show me a place that would do that, today!! Food was delicious. The Betty burger was cooked perfectly, the BLT and Club sandwiches were on point. A great place for comfortable dining, with classic Louisiana charm and hospitality. Commenting on my 4 yr old, language being used, smoking in an area next to my table.
