“We visited haley.henry on a Friday night around 5pm. The staff (starting with Hannah, then met Ann Marie, then Meg) was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We sat at the bar and had the loveliest time. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.

The tinned tuna belly with toasted bread made us so happy and easily enough to come back for. The octopus in garlic and olive oil was insane, however. This is the place I'm coming back to every time I visit Boston. What a special place.”

“Went to get lunch when we got to Boston. Was close by our hotel and I love craft beer so was excited to try something local. Split the burger for lunch which was excellent. Tried three different beers and enjoyed each one. They didn’t do flights but do offer small pours so it made it easy to try different brews.

Venue was nice as well and easy to get to in the Seaport area.”

“Some good, some bad, but the good overall won out. Had an overnight layover in Boston during a multi-day train trip and I figured an all-night diner would be a good spot to while away some time. I have multiple disabilities and travel with a service dog. I rarely have any issues with this, so I was shocked when before entering I was told I couldn't bring her in, even once I explained that she is a service dog. Worse, the young man I spoke to asked to see "service dog papers," which is a major violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. When I explained that there are no such thing as service dog papers and began to explain the ADA regulations, he interrupted me, saying, "If you don't have any papers, I don't know what you expect me to do." Fortunately, at that moment, another server swooped in and told him that he was breaking the law and that if the owner had a problem with it he could take it up with her. She seated me, apologized, and took my order. The menu had a really nice selection of vegetarian breakfast options and the portobello benedict was quite good. Once I was seated, nobody hassled me and the server (who said she had recently graduated from law school and knew the ADA regulations) was really nice about the whole thing, apologizing honestly more than she needed to. Overall a good experience, but if you have any accessibility needs, be prepared for potential problems.”

“In August I took my mobility-challenged Dad to iHop for lunch. He used to go to this location frequently when starting his career, especially on the night shift, and has fond memories. We went at midday to avoid crowds. As we were crossing the flat parking lot (yay, thank you!) with me pushing his wheelchair, a car beeped and an iHop employee got out of her car to hold the door. She then left, but had stopped at the end of her shift to to help. Another employee inside immediately came and held another door. The staff was so kind and helped find a good comfortable spot. The food was delicious - and the coffee as good as always. It was the first time we didn't get breakfast food. My Dad loved the BLT and especially the onion rings. He got the senior sandwich which was perfect size and a good price for seniors. I had the chicken biscuit sandwich. I reluctantly saved a piece to bring home to my mom because I knew she'd love it so I wanted her to try. The service was impeccable. They were attentive but let us linger. My Dad enjoyed himself without feeling like he was holding anyone up. He doesn't like to go out a lot, due to mobility and memory challenges, but he had such a good time. Next time I'm home we will be back. Thank you for a great experience!”

“Friends and I stopped by to grab a bite and witnessed a really beautiful moment! A child and their parent were in the store, and their Minnie balloon floated to the ceiling with no string attached. An employee named Victor tried to grab the balloon and when they couldn’t, Victor went to the back, grabbed a step stool and got the balloon down. Victor deserves some recognition!Maria gave us our food, 3 soups and sandwiches, and all were good.”

Poe-lenta at the Time Out Market in 401 Park is a place that really impressed me. The portions were exactly right, filling without being overwhelming, and the flavors came together beautifully. Every bite felt balanced and carefully prepared, turning a simple dish into something memorable.

The service was outstanding. My food was ready within two minutes, which is incredibly fast, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. They even took the time to show me photos of the different meals before I ordered, which made the whole process much easier and more enjoyable. That kind of personal touch made the visit feel special.

One thing to keep in mind is that they only accept card payments, no cash, but for me that was a small detail in an otherwise excellent experience.

Overall Poe-lenta is absolutely worth trying if you are visiting Time Out Market or spending time around Fenway. Between the perfectly portioned dishes, the rich flavors, and the welcoming staff, it is the kind of spot you want to return to again and again.”

My hubby had a roast chicken sandwich with fries and a Fresh Lobster Ale as well and he loved it. We had a recommendation from our tour guide and a taxi concierge... so we knew it had to be good when the locals say to go there. “I didn’t hear about this place until I saw people walking around with boxes. I decided to go check them out. There were about 100 people waiting in line when I arrived. The line moved fairly quickly. It was cash only, but you can order online in advance so I chose to do that. The pasties themselves were nothing special, canollis were not fresh, donut was stale. There are better pasties in Boston, not worth the wait.”

I recently had the pleasure of trying Dave’s Hot Chicken in Boston, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations!

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special mention to the lady who took our order, an absolute gem of a person, who set the perfect tone for what turned out to be a fantastic meal.

The chicken? Absolutely awesome. Juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. We sampled the full spice range—extra hot, hot, medium, and mild, and each one delivered. The extra hot was just right for me, with a bold kick that didn’t overwhelm. The spice blend was spot-on, adding a delicious complexity to every bite.

I had tried Dave’s once before in Dubai and wasn’t particularly impressed. But this Boston experience? A complete game-changer—and totally worth the extra heat.”

“The cinnamon rolls are usually delicious 80% of the time but sometimes they are not that fresh and they can be dry with not much icing. I think it just depends what time you go and if it’s busy or not. But even if they aren’t fresh out of the oven they still taste good. Service is usually always fast. Employees could improve with their customer service skills but I understand it’s a new store and very busy so I give them credit for that.”

Probably some of the best cutlets I’ve ever had. It’s just one of those things that you think about it and you have to eat it immediately so you go out of your way to grab a sandwich from here the warm family atmosphere makes it very easy to order and you know they appreciate repeat business because you get a free cutlet after every nine. Right in the middle of Hanover Street you can grab dessert anyway you turn after you enjoy these Premier cutlet sandwiches. Thank you for bringing your family own business into the North End.
