“And this place takes the cake for me.
In Boston for a few days on business and this spot was a top rec, but hard to get to given the limited service hours. Finally made it on a random weekday afternoon. There was a line of 20+ out the door. I considered that a good sign.
Service went fast and I was able to order a crab cake and some of the lobster bisque. That crab cake was mouthwatering kinds of good. Would love a few more! The bisque was also super delicious, though no large chunks of lobster were present. In a competitive lobster environment, perhaps I was a little picky.
Anyway, prices were really fair and food came out quickly. Getting a seat was a little challenge given how busy it was. Just be warned most options are outside and uncovered. On a beautiful fall day, it was amazing.
Overall, would recommend.”
“PinoyKabayan Food is a cozy spot for authentic Filipino cuisine, serving up classic dishes like adobo, and lechon kawali with rich, traditional flavors. The halo-halo dessert is a must-try, refreshing and packed with classic toppings. Generous portions and friendly service make it perfect for sharing with family and friends. A great place to satisfy your Filipino food cravings at a fair price!”
“Lovely spot with spectacular views of the water. Beautifully designed interior. Delicious, creative food. Great service.”
“Bostons Top 50 for sure! Went 3x’s in a week, twice for dinner and once for breakfast. Every dish from the appetizer to dessert was delicious! The flavors, fresh ingredients and presentation are exceptional. The staff were super friendly and service was top notch! Can’t wait to go back. Cheers Via Cannuccia !”

“We stumbled on the amazing restaurant and stopped in twice while on vacation in South Boston! The food was unbelievable and the service was fantastic! 👏🏼 This is going to be our go to spot every time we make our annual trip to Boston. Love the local vibe and the chef and owner, Asia, was hand on and personally brought out the food she so skillfully prepared!! HIGHLY recommend Moonshine 152! 💕@chefasiamei”
“Very good pizza, especially the pepperoni one, we were very well served by Gigi, very friendly and attentive.
The only thing that bothered us a little was the hostess, a bald guy with glasses, who welcomed us at the entrance to the restaurant, seemed uncomfortable with our presence, constantly looking at our table suspiciously. We were dressed the same as everyone else and our behavior was the same as everyone else there, so I really don't know what the reason was.
Other than that, great service and good food.”
“THIS PLACE WENT FROM BEING ONE OF THE BEST GEMS TO A PLACE THAT FEELS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO EVEN SET A FOOT IN. I'VE BEEN TO THIS PLACE FOR OVER 10 YEARS, SINCE PANDEMIC HAVE NOT GONE. WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. THE AMOUNT OF DISPLEASSURE THESE WOMAN HAVE BEING THEIR IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SERVED, ASIDE FROM THE FOOD FEELING SO RUSH THIS TIME AROUND AS WE GOT THERE AT 8 THEY CLOSED AT 10PM. I UNDERSTAND RESTAUTANT INDUSTRY IS NOT EASY BUT FOR ME TO GO TO AND SPEND MY MONEY IN A PLACE THAT FEELS SO FORCED TO WORK IS NOT WORTH MY TIME NOR MONEY.”
“Left another place to come here because the customer service was bad. What a 180. Citizen staff was friendly, great w/suggestions and helped secure me a seat at their busy bar. Had two great cocktails and a delicious pepper seared filet. Well done Citizen Pub!! I will be back!”

“Went to get lunch when we got to Boston. Was close by our hotel and I love craft beer so was excited to try something local. Split the burger for lunch which was excellent. Tried three different beers and enjoyed each one. They didn’t do flights but do offer small pours so it made it easy to try different brews.
Venue was nice as well and easy to get to in the Seaport area.”
“We visited haley.henry on a Friday night around 5pm. The staff (starting with Hannah, then met Ann Marie, then Meg) was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We sat at the bar and had the loveliest time. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.
The tinned tuna belly with toasted bread made us so happy and easily enough to come back for. The octopus in garlic and olive oil was insane, however. This is the place I'm coming back to every time I visit Boston. What a special place.”

“We tried pizza Bianca, the famous salad and pasta with aged balsamic, and finally the ricotta cheese cake. Everything was vey good. The favorite dish was the pasta. I scored it 4/5 because I think the food portion was small. But definitely one of the best Italian dishes in the area! 👌”
“I attended an event yesterday at this amazing Restaurant. The atmosphere is so inviting, the drinks were delicious. Food was absolutely scrumptious. And the staff all so kind and friendly. I highly recommend stopping in for a cocktail or dinner, you won’t be disappointed!!!”

“Some good, some bad, but the good overall won out. Had an overnight layover in Boston during a multi-day train trip and I figured an all-night diner would be a good spot to while away some time. I have multiple disabilities and travel with a service dog. I rarely have any issues with this, so I was shocked when before entering I was told I couldn't bring her in, even once I explained that she is a service dog. Worse, the young man I spoke to asked to see "service dog papers," which is a major violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. When I explained that there are no such thing as service dog papers and began to explain the ADA regulations, he interrupted me, saying, "If you don't have any papers, I don't know what you expect me to do." Fortunately, at that moment, another server swooped in and told him that he was breaking the law and that if the owner had a problem with it he could take it up with her. She seated me, apologized, and took my order. The menu had a really nice selection of vegetarian breakfast options and the portobello benedict was quite good. Once I was seated, nobody hassled me and the server (who said she had recently graduated from law school and knew the ADA regulations) was really nice about the whole thing, apologizing honestly more than she needed to. Overall a good experience, but if you have any accessibility needs, be prepared for potential problems.”
“Friends and I stopped by to grab a bite and witnessed a really beautiful moment! A child and their parent were in the store, and their Minnie balloon floated to the ceiling with no string attached. An employee named Victor tried to grab the balloon and when they couldn’t, Victor went to the back, grabbed a step stool and got the balloon down. Victor deserves some recognition!Maria gave us our food, 3 soups and sandwiches, and all were good.”
“This chain coffee shop located outside North Station offers affordable and delicious coffee as well as a variety of donuts to choose from at affordable prices.

“Relatively cheap on the weekends, considering the parking prices in downtown. Much more expensive during weekdays. Would recommend using the app and book in advance. Super easy! Only downside, the garage itself is a bit narrow, which is pretty common in that area though.”
“Service was amazing they had a tide pen and mouthwash in the bathroom so considerate and the food was reasonably priced and the food was delicious and big portions”
Takeout Restaurants
“My wife and I have enjoyed the Restaurant scene in Boston privately and professionally for over thirty years. Right now Aqua Pazza is my absolute favorite spot in the city! Aqua Pazza is kicking on my all three important points. Food, service and ambiance. Simply, I love the place!!!”
“Excellent variety of un *americanized" Italian fare. The lobster tasted very fresh. Service time was a little slow but my table ordered two different temperatures of steak. Overall very pleased. Prices were reasonable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Recommended highly”
“I recently dined at Sunny Girl, and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was fantastic—each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be going back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend!”
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taco Azul and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
The moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the Owner Dan who made me feel instantly at home. Their genuine hospitality and attentiveness set the tone for the evening. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, checking in on us periodically without being intrusive.
Our server, Michelle was equally remarkable. She were knowledgeable about the menu, provided excellent recommendations, and exhibited an impeccable level of professionalism. They truly made me feel like valued guests, attending to every detail with a friendly and accommodating attitude.
And then there was the food — absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was a work of art, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The Quesa-steak were standout items that I can’t stop thinking about. The ingredients were fresh, and the balance of flavors showcased the skill and passion of the culinary team.
The combination of outstanding service, a welcoming atmosphere, and incredible food made this dining experience truly exceptional. Taco Azul deserves all the accolades, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal. I’ll definitely be back soon!”
“We booked the private dining area and had a great experience. Service was great and we were not rushed at all. Food and drinks were good and the overall booking process with Zoey was easy and transparent.”

“This is an excellent restaurant 100% Greek food and drinks Excellent menu and service Nice vibe and atmosphere- tables inside and out (with heaters) Our daughter is coeliac and therefore cannot eat gluten. The staff were 100% up to speed with a marked up menu and awareness of cross contamination etc Well done p.s One tip for the owners - you have done all the work on GF - why not put the GF menu on the website or mark up the main menu and get the extra custom”
“Étant français, je n’attendais rien de spécial d’un restaurant français à Boston ! Ce fut une incroyable immersion dans une brasserie française avec un véritable comptoir en zinc et des serveurs très chaleureux. La carte est simple avec des plats typiques français. La carte des vins est incroyable. La blanquette de veau est incroyable ! J’ai enfin trouvé un bon restaurant à Boston et avec des prix complètement raisonnables. Je reviendrais avec grand plaisir.”
“We came there 20 minutes before closing but they served us quickly with take out service. The dumplings were really great, the best I've ever tried. I'm a vegetarian so I ordered teokbokki because there weren't any fish cakes in it but we tasted a strong fish flavour so I assumed there was fish sauce inside, but not mentioned in the menu. I didn't ask for it, so it's partially my bad. But a vegan/vegetarian sign next to the dishes would be appreciated! Service fast and efficient”
“The food on offer looked very tasty. I had the egg sandwich with salmon and their tatte house latte. The sandwich was very tasty but a little messy to eat. The latte was honey, halva and cardamom flavoured which was very pleasant and different. Overall I enjoyed my time there except when I was approached by a person asking for money and had to pack up and leave to avoid confrontation :(”
“We made reservations online for the Omaska. It was $300 which broke down to $120 per person with tip and tax. The tables were perfectly space out. They gave us a 2 hour limit which was enough time for the 12 course Omaska. Presentation on everything was amazing. Each course was fresh and delicious in their own way. It was hard to hear the man over his mask so I couldn't get any names. We had uni, tuna belly, scallops, and more. All the Courses were small but packed with favor. You can take there was attention to detail in the ingredients and presentation. Definitely, worth the money was a special event like a birthday. Would definitely come back”
“This place is amazing. Everything. We flew in and were so tired but it was my husbands bday so we had to get brunch… I’ve never had better pancakes, Benedict, avocado/salmon toast, bacon & egg sandwich… 5 stars for service, atmosphere and cuisine! We’ll be back and you should too!”

Fine Dining
“It's small, with maybe 8 two tops and a counter. Not a lot of ambience, but nice dishware and clean wooden lines.
Service was attentive. There were only two or three parties there.
Food was interesting. I really enjoyed the scallops and the skate. I did not enjoy the dessert - a cornbread buckthorn berry thing.
Don't feel the need to go back, but I did enjoy my meal.”
“We had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal at STK Boston. Plenty of food (turkey, stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, gravy) - all was delicious. Full menu was also available and one of my sons had the filet which was also excellent. Desserts were great too! Our waiter was Nathan and he was attentive, consistently checking in, and friendly. The vibe is always fun and upbeat - music, decorations for the holidays - nice ambiance.”
“Absolutely fine dining at fair market prices. The staff was brilliant, the food well prepared, and the atmosphere wonderful. There's not enough praise that I can heap on Atlantic Fish. We had the whole fish that came with sides topped with a fresh Guinness. Everything was expertly prepared. Dessert was through the roof. Great restaurant, attentive staff.”
“I visited Oishii with a small work group for a holiday celebration and we had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent—very attentive, made thoughtful recommendations, quick to refill water glasses, etc. and the food was delicious. I specifically enjoyed the Crispy Vegetable Dumplings, and the Shrimp Explosion and Japanese Yam Tempura Speciality Maki. We were far too full for dessert but decided to “just take a look”…and of course had to try a couple. The green tea layered cake (cannot remember the exact name) was absolutely delicious—would highly recommend! All in all a great meal. Quite expensive overall, so will make it an only-for-special-occasions restaurant, but would return (and likely order a similar slate of entrees).”
“We truly had an amazing time celebrating my fiancé’s birthday. Everything from the food to the service and the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful. We are so grateful for all the effort that went into making our day special. It truly created an unforgettable memory for both of us, and we appreciate the joy we experienced there.”
“We love staying at the XV Beacon & so end up dining at Mooo Beacon often. I have to say the food is always yummy & cooked well. There’s be couple of times when our orders got confused but they always make it right. Salads are fresh & steaks are really yummy! Definitely recommend Mooo Beacon!”

“Went today with my girlfriend, we had the most amazing baklava and Turkish coffee/matcha latte. The owner is the friendliest man you can find in Boston. Delicious coffee and pastries aside, I would visit this place simply for the hospitality; it was an outstanding experience.”
“We got the muffuletta sandwich and it was SPECTACULAR! It was a new sandwich for us…the bread was perfectly paired to the style of sandwich and fresh. The meats and cheese were delicious and the olive garnish and herbs enhanced this unique taste experience. We took the sandwich to go but the restaurant was clean and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and fast service.”

“Incredibly busy for breakfast. It was hard to find a seat. Pastries were really good. I had a breakfast croissant and it was good, but ordered the egg over easy and it wasn't runny, and the croissant was over toasted for me on the ends.”
“We are doing a world cruise on the Coral Princess and went to Yankee Lobster for lunch. It was absolutely delicious, heaps of lobster in the roll and fries too. My hubby had a roast chicken sandwich with fries and a Fresh Lobster Ale as well and he loved it. We had a recommendation from our tour guide and a taxi concierge... so we knew it had to be good when the locals say to go there. I forgot to show our waiter the photo I took of him, so I hope he sees it here.. Thank you 10/10 gor food and service.”
“This is the best mediterrian middle east food I ever had in my life. Everything is so fresh and so delicious and full of flavor. “Oh Somenya~
Saturday night was my first time dining in. Line got out the door quickly by 5:30! But I love how the hostess took down me and my friend’s names the second we got inside, rather than keeping us guessing for the wait time.❤️ Fortunately there was a table of two available shortly after and we got to skip a few bigger groups ahead of us.
Inside there is a beautiful ambiance and it felt so cozy! We were quickly given glasses of water and menus at our table.
We started off with their Hiya Yakko Japanese Cold Tofu. So delicious and perfect size for two. I highly recommend the Beef Sukiyaki with Soba Noodles! My friend got their Curry Beef Udon. Both were DELICIOUS and the perfect hot temperature for a rainy day in Boston.
Would I come back? Yes!?
Thank you Somenya waitstaff and kitchen for your hard word and hospitality.???”

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.”
“It’s an Internet celebrity restaurant, but it’s still worth trying. ?Environment, food, and service are both average. ?Spicy chicken, crispy tofu, and boiled beef are all fresh and well cooked, especially the chicken, which is spicy and fragrant. ??The price is OK? , in short, very good in the United States ?”
“Went to Mooo for the first time this past weekend and had an amazing experience! Our waiter Zak was very attentive, informative, and gave us a free dessert! The truffle ravioli was to die for, and my filet was cooked to perfection. Definitely will be back!”
“I absolutely loved my experience here. my wife and I went this past weekend for the first time for our anniversary and we left having a new favorite place in Boston. The menu is completely vegan and absolutely delicious. We ordered the Chunk steak, the short ribs, the maple boneless wings, a martini and a mocha latte. everything was so good and their house made vegan ranch is the best vegan ranch I've had to date. All of the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming and attentive. The restaurant itself is small but comfortable and enjoyable. Don't let this place pass you by, it's incredible”
“We came in a large travel group and they offered so many options. The appetizer sampler was amazing. I chose the Veal with linguini. SO GOOD!! And they finished it off with a dessert sampler. The cheesecake!!! Chef's kiss!! 💋
Dietary restrictions: They offered to accommodate so many dietary restrictions upon request.”

“Kudos to Chris our awesome waiter yesterday. He was very helpful with describing their menu as I have an unusual food allergy. He confirmed with the Chef my concerns and I had a delicious meal. The petite lobster roll was the best ever! Highly recommend this restaurant and hopefully your waiter is Chris.”
“On a day out in Boston with my mom, my daughter, and a couple of her friends, we were craving North End food for lunch. We started walking down Hanover St and ended up at Trattoria Il Panino. So happy that we did. Staff was absolutely lovely and welcoming. We were in a bit of a time crunch, so we put our orders in quickly. Everything came out far quicker than i would have expected, and it was outstanding. Everyone was thrilled with their food. There are a couple other things on the menu I really want to try, so I hope to return soon.”
“This restaurant has a cool sports bar vibe while also having an upscale dining atmosphere. We ordered mango chicken, mahi, and crab cake. They all taste fresh, tender, and juicy! The portions were big and the service was great. The only personal flavor preference is I wish the dishes could have less salt. Overall, a relaxing experience!”
“Wait time on a busy Sunday morning was estimated at 20 min but we only waited about 5 min. It was great to see the owner helping out with the work and present walking around saying good morning. The food was amazing! Great unique flavors and very healthy and fresh in quality. I loved that there were options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free and found the menu to be varied-- from crepes to bfast sandwiches to omelets to eggs benedict to stuffed french toast. Highly recommend!”
“The Chart House is our favorite restaurant in Boston! It is pretty much next door to our hotel. Beautiful building inside with its brick wall and antique hand hewn beams (according to my husband) Wrought iron railings to assist you on the stairs. The food? OMG!!! MY finicky daughter had the best lobster mac n' cheese. My husband had the Caesar salad and the 14 oz prime rib. The rib was perfect! As for my meal, I started with a few oysters from my husband, very fresh. Then I had the best spinach salad. I would have put raw mushrooms instead of cooked on the salad but overall it was heaven with warm bacon dressing. My daughter had the highly recommended chocolate lava cake and would highly recommend it. Danny was our waiter and he did a great job! Chart House will be our first stop for dinner on our next trip to Boston.”

“My partner and I came here on Valentine’s Day with pretty high expectations based on the great reviews and how new/trendy it looked. While the food and service overall were good, there is plenty of room for improvement. The menu is pretty small and limited which I was not expecting based on it being an Asian fusion place. We ordered the Pork Egg Rolls, Shishito Peppers, Pork Gyoza Dumplings, Garlic Edamame, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Chef’s House Fried Rice to share. When we gave the order, our waitress said those were amazing choices and we wouldn’t be disappointed. The pork egg rolls were solid, nothing special and lacking flavor in my opinion. Especially for the price, I wouldn’t order them again. The shishito peppers were good, with a nice salty citrusy flavor, but no dipping sauce. I would recommend them. The pork gyoza dumplings were similar to the egg rolls in that they were solid but lacked flavor. I felt like I could make better ones at home, no sauce with these either other than the sauce on top. The edamame was very disappointing. I am not picky at all, but they were overcooked and soggy, and completely wet from the sauce. They were literally hard to eat because when you put them in your mouth they fall apart and you can’t separate the beans from the shell, causing you to have to pull out the shell from your mouth. Not pleasant. We ate some but gave up on finishing them. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The spicy tuna roll was OUTSTANDING. We eat a lot of sushi and we HIGHLY recommend the tuna roll. The pork fried rice was good, a lot of ingredients which I liked but it also could have used more flavor. It felt like it was missing something. It also weirdly came with a sauce which was good, but why do you need sauce for fried rice? For drinks we ordered the Japanese sour (solid), the lychee mojito (good), the yuzu martini (I loved it, my partner was meh) and the valentine drink special which was also good. The service was good, the waitress checked in on us like 5 times while our food was coming out but then when we actually wanted to order the second drink round, it took her a while to come back. The water-filler-upper was on his game, filling up our water the second it got halfway empty 😂. They gave us chocolate covered strawberries on the house for Valentine’s Day which was nice. I wish they had more sushi options, as I would like to come back to try those and the other items on the menu we didn’t order. Also, the vibe was great. The interior is very cool!”
