“The staff at Brassica are so knowledgeable, fun, and friendly. They bump the best playlists, joke with you, discuss taste preferences, honor allergies, and are actually excited to provide a good dining experience. It's truly a neighborhood gem that I want to gatekeep so badly but will not because everyone deserves this level of stellar dining and the team here deserves to succeed! The food is funky with a heavy focus on fermentation along with honing culinary techniques from around the world without trying to put out “Asian food” or “Latin cuisine” or “fusion”, just their own creations. They make spirits in house (turns out I can like vermouth!) and source wines from places most others restaurants don’t dare to cover. It’s where I bring all my visitors if I can snag a table!“

“Great place for food and drinks in Boston. The food quality is much better than your average food court and alcohol is available. It's not as large as the one in Lisbon but there's still a decent variety of food choices. We had lunch there prior to a Red Sox game and went there for supper after the game. The place was not overly busy both times so it was easy to find seating.Overall, we prefer the Time Out Market over the High Street Place food hall downtown. At Time Out Market your food is served on real plates with proper cutlery and the beer comes in a glass. At High Street Place, your food is served in takeout containers with plastic cutlery and draft beer in a plastic cup.“

They gave us a seat by the door, which was appreciated and the service to the food was hitting on all marks. The one thing I hold back from giving a 5 star review on is that we were dying of heat -- it felt like we were eating in a sauna. I'm not sure if it was because they didn't turn on the AC or if we just had an unfortunate seat that wasn't receiving any of that cool air. Either way, I was sweating throughout the entire dinner service and so was my fiancée.“

We got the mushroom pizza (spectacular, good amount of sauce and toppings), the burrata pizza (good when it's hot and immediately after it is delivered to table, the apple salad (phenomenal, good about of sauce and excellent assortment of toppings), and the Caesar (classic Caesar nothing too special). But the item that stood out the most was the TRUFFLE FRIES. Best truffle fries Ive had in a very long time. Great fries and the seasoning was above and beyond. didn't come with an aoili dipping sauce oddly, but i was super content with the fries alone. super flavorful and had the right about of everything on it.“

“Ocean Prime came highly recommended to me by a number of people when I was planning my husbands’s surprise 40th dinner party. I had never been there before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I went in knowing it was pricey and upscale which was fitting for the special occasion. Let me just say we had an absolutely incredible night. We had a larger party and Yasmin helped me plan the event and accommodated all of us. The hostess was even in on the surprise as she pretended to seat us for 2 when we arrived. Anthony was our server and he was so incredibly patient and fun and very very efficient. He and Yasmin made this a night to remember and I was able to relax knowing that everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. We were even given a private room which we did not expect at all and that made our experience that much better. The food and atmosphere were just so great and so special. We will be coming back for sure and recommend Ocean Prime to anyone who is looking to have more of fancy/upscale experience in the Seaport. It was perfection!“

But the real winner of the night were the two homemade cookies we took home. My only complaint of the evening was the back corner of the restaurant we were seated in was a little too dark for my liking. Overall though, a solid place for dinner.“

“It’s been a long time since I last dined here and it was just as amazing as I remember. We loved all of the food here—excellent and of a high caliber. We started with the oysters which were (I think) the best oysters I’ve ever had. They brought out bread afterwards with freshly scooped butter. Might be some of the best rolls and butter I’ve had too. The bread, lightly salted on top, was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The butter, which melts into the bread as you spread it, had notes of honey in it too adding an extra sweetness. Top tier. All of the entrees were stellar, and one thing I loved was how appropriate the portion sizes were. We finished everything and were content without being overly full. The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection with mashed potatoes. The creamy carbonara was flavorful with the squash. The branzino was also cooked perfectly and came with tasty sides. And lastly the scallops had a great sauce and went well with the mushrooms. We tried the date cake and chocolate soufflé for dessert but it wasn’t anything crazy or over the top. They don’t have a pastry chef.Lastly I’ll comment on the decor as the vibe was quiet and nice with fun pictures hanging around. The back door is also connected to a speakeasy!“

I really liked the bartender (I wish I got her name, she was medium height with long black hair, working on Monday evening, March 25). Also, I moved to a table, and our server there was just as exceptional. I didn't get her name either, but her section was the hight tops diagonal from the bar, against the windows, near the door. The food was a little over-seasoned for my taste. Instead of tasting each thing in my dish (the crispy tofu in the lettuce wraps, or the potatoes and clams in the chowder) I mostly tasted the sauce and the seasonings. Drinks were also very expensive. But, that's to be expected for a restaurant of this calibre in the seaport.“

Lenox Sophia American
87 A St, Boston

“It took me 2 years to get to Lenox Sophia and I am kicking myself for not having made it there sooner now! What a fantastic experience from the moment we stepped in the door to the moment we waddled out with full bellies. We sat at the counter and what fun to be near the (sparkling clean) kitchen and watch the chefs at work. They were calm and coordinated even thought the place was full; you can tell Chef Mei has worked in Keller kitchens. We ordered the omnivores and veg menu and were able to alter the veg menu to have fish course from the omnivore side. I am super glad I did because the red perch was perfect with the light cornmeal crust (pretty sure it was cornmeal) and the zing of the perfectly pickled mussels. I can't get the perfect consistency of the celeriac course out of my mind. We got a special treat of the beet tartar. My mouth is watering again thinking of it. The cracker was the perfect complement and as a beet lover, I say this with respect... It didn't have the earthiness that some folks don't like about beets but I think it highlighted beets well. Basically, I think Chef Mei did some magic. You can probably tell I can keep going about the dinner. And I haven't even touched on the service which was exceptional. Knowledgeable, attentive without being too much (which isn't easy in a small space). Needless to say at this point probably, but I will be going back to Lenox Sophia!“

My husband got the steak frites, ordered medium well. His came out rare. We informed our server right away. “Such phenomenal food and great prices and super friendly staff. We got the surf and turf, shrimp scampi, potato skin appetizer, and tiramisu for dessert. The seafood was incredibly fresh and huge portions. The surf and turf had plenty of lobster meat as well. Highly recommend all dishes.“

“If you're in the area looking for quality food with great service, I highly recommend visiting Clink. I've been here for breakfast and, on a separate visit, had lunch. Both visits were equally pleasing. The burger was perfection, and the staff is always pleasant and attentive. Prices are on the higher side, but I have no problem with it as long as the quality if there, and it is! A hidden gem in the city, located in the Liberty Hotel. It was previously the Suffolk county jail, so it's a cool location to dine.“

“Excellent food and service! I love the Yard House—they have such a vast menu with plenty of options and I’m never disappointed with the quality of the items. Reasonably priced too. I ordered the seared tuna sandwich which was phenomenal. Very flavorful and would definitely order it again. The spinach dip appetizer was great as well—I just wish they gave more dip.I also loved my drink! I got the Pineapple Express and it was tasty.“

So well planned out for the number of people we had and the manager (Megan) and supporting staff was absolutely amazing throughout the entirety of the event. Overall such a great experience from booking to planning to execution. Would absolutely recommend! Our guests had a blast here!“

“Very cute and cozy, and we had great service. Loved the menu options and our drinks were great. We had the brussels sprouts, pork entree, and chicken mushroom risotto entree. The food was good, but could have been a bit better for the price. It was definitely a cute place for a date night overall, with a pretty convenient location.“

“We stopped by here because everything around us was closed at 10PM. The drinks and food were awesome. They have a big selection of cocktails you would never think of trying. Their deviled eggs were so good and the bratwurst sausage was delish. Service was really great. Everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. We came back for a second round the next day!“
