“My wife and I visited the Bethesda location. Our server was extremely helpful and kind. She explained basically they only cook with good oils. Everything is fresh and organic. The terminology today is clean food. My wife ordered a gin and pineapple martini and it was delicious.! They have an open kitchen concept and the cooks bring the food right to you after they prepare it! Which I thought was a great touch and would answer any questions you might have. I ordered the OG burger medium and it came out perfect so juicy and flavorful the grilled onions on the burger were fantastic and it came with a side of roasted baby red potatoes that were. Delicious. My wife ordered a salad with fresh grilled salmon and the salmon was prepared just the way she liked it not pink in the center and not overly done. Definitely a great concept and the food was extremely tasty. I would highly recommend it. They also have outside seating for a pretty spring evening.“
“I got my quick dinner from here. Fast service, like fast food- however, much healthier. You get to choose from the base- korean style rice, or, noodles, or bibimbap. Top it from multiple options of protein and vegetables. I made the bowl with Korean style glass noodles, spicy pork and many other toppings. The bowl is spicy, and filling. Value for money.“
“I love the ghost kitchen style. My burrito was a little expensive but I expect to pay more for quality ingredients. I wasn't let down I had yokey eggs, fresh vegetables, and everything was fresh and hot off the grill. I've eaten a lot of burritos and the real deal from Cali and Texas. Nothing will be that good but it is on top for an excellent quality burrito.“
“I had the fried fish sandwich on this visit, and it was amazing! My favorite is the shrimp and grits. It's the best I've had in a very long time. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is very nice. Don't just take my word for it, stop by and check it out for yourself.“
“Absolutely amazing experience! I almost never write reviews, but this place was so incredible that I had to this time.We went on a Friday night and did the 7-course tasting menu and drink pairing at the chef's counter. I'm sure it's not part of the experience every time, but it actually turned into about a 9-course tasting because they served some extras not on the menu that they were excited to share. Every aspect was incredible.Starting off, before we even arrived, with personalized contact from Brian to ensure that they knew everything from our names, if it was special occasion, dietary restrictions, etc. It was clear they wanted to make sure it was a special experience for us before we even stepped foot in the restaurant. On arrival the environment was incredible and the whole staff was friendly and consistently went out of their way to make the evening memorable. The food was, of course, incredible. But even more enjoyable was the detailed explanation of both the food we were being served and the wine choices for pairing. We learned a lot about how they prepared the food, where the ingredients were locally sourced from, etc. Not only was it informative, but their true passion for the quality of what they were serving really shined through.Just as top notch as the food, the service was incredible. They were true professionals that knew exactly how to strike the balance between being highly attentive without interfering with our date. The pacing of the servings was absolutely spot on. We neither had to wait between courses nor had courses stacking up. Everything was executed flawlessly.Hands down the best dining experience I've ever had. Great food, great environment, and absolutely exceptional service. We will be back for sure and will enthusiastically recommend it to anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience. Extremely well done!“
“Shout out to Jordan G. He took my large order. A side & kids meal got omitted. Went back the next day. It was SUPER BUSY but he was very courteous and quickly made the items. For some reason their mac & cheese has never been on point. Most other dishes are very good. Staff are friendly. Go when it's not busy.“
“I had Yasmine cater my son’s pre wedding party. I live 2 1/2 hours from DC so I depended on someone that could really tell me what I needed. Working with Yasmine was phenomenal! Most importantly, the food was out of this world. Even after the wedding, which was awesome, people were coming up to me talking about how good the food was. My only regret is that I didn’t take home any leftovers!!!! That just means, I’ll have to make a visit to DC to get some!!!! Thank you Caro, Jimmy and staff. You are much appreciated.“
“This is great for a quick lunch or dinner. There is good variety and great flavors. We were a party of 5 and all ordered different variations. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. This is elevated grilled cheese for adults but lets the kids order something simple. Win win.“
“My son and I have been coming to the Mosaic location weekly since the beginning of the pandemic and have never been disappointed! The service is always extraordinary. Brenda is truly one of the best servers and Marina is always backing everyone up and making sure the customers are truly happy! The prices are very good and the food incredible. We will continue to make this a regular part of our lives!Thank you everyone!“
“Situated in a buzzing food hall, this place still manages to stand out.The staff are just great; so friendlyandhelpful. They allowed me to sample everything before deciding what to have. But even then, it was so difficult because everything was delicious.“
“We had about a 25-minute wait for a a group of 5 for breakfast. The wait time can go by fast as you’re able to buy bakery items or coffee in the waiting area. I got a vanilla latte & blueberry cheesecake tart. The vanilla latte was okay as it lacked flavor. The tart was yum as it’s a less sweet upgraded pop tart! For my entree I got the Hong Kong style French toast which was a lot and it was okay not amazing- honestly tasted like an upgraded pb&j with lots of oil. The hash was good! The rest of my party agreed it was a lot of food. The atmosphere is very pretty, however it was very loud inside which made it hard to hear/talk. All the employees were very nice and friendly!Parking: Parking is street parking which can be free or free 2-hour but can scarce on the weekend or there’s a parking lot which charges $30 for three hours.“
“Surprisingly good and filling with a variety of flavors, I would visit again. A little awkward as a first time customer, I chose the crunchy kimchi off the chart. Sparse eating space, so taking advantage of the sun we took our meals to go and ate down the block at the Temperance Fountain.“
“It’s official. SEOULSPICE is our kpop dance team’s new post-practice eating spot. It’s decorated so cutely inside and the food was great! We were served by Destiny, who treated us with the warmest energy and like we were best friends. Cannot recommend this location enough. Will 1000% be going back ASAP!“
“we went to the Vegas location and how Gordon Ramsay can put his name to the crap this place serves up is beyond belief. the batter is way to thick and over cooked and the highlight should not be the Dijon mayonnaise that comes with the food. terrible food and a waste of $39“
“What a wonderful find, with super-helpful service! Yes, you can get gravy & biscuits if you're a traditionalist, but if (like me) you're not so inclined they offer a wide variety of options from savory to sweet to salads (even a kids' menu). My new fav is The Goodness Gracious, a tower of delciousness built on pulled pork and homemade BBQ.“
“I always rely on True Food for its delicious yet healthy food options. We just had lunch there and loved the ambiance - the combination of wood tones and greenery created a relaxing and comfortable feel. The staff member who greeted us was welcoming and friendly, and our server provided attentive and speedy service. Our food arrived within minutes of placing our order. The food was exceptional, especially the edamame dumplings appetizer. They were perfectly seasoned with soy sauce, dashi, white truffle oil, and herbs. The True Blue Grass-Fed Burger was also a great choice. The Peruvian pepper sauce added a pleasant kick to the burger, while the caramelized onions provided a sweet contrast to the blue cheese. The Korean Noodle Bowl was similar to Japchae, made with sweet potato noodles and veggies. However, it had a subtle citrusy flavor with garlic. Our drinks, Kale Aid with Greek yogurt and Bright Eyes, were both healthy and delicious. Their vibrant colors made them a feast for the eyes.I'm looking forward to revisiting True Food soon to try some of their other tasty and healthy options.“
“I went to this place for a birthday celebration and I had a blast.. We ordered seafood soup baleadas and pupusas. It was all DELICIOUS. I also had Micheladas and must say is one of the best I’ve ever had.I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back to try the rest of their menu.“
“Something about this small cafe feels right. It's comfy and cozy. The service is straightforward and welcoming without being solicitous or phoney. The caramel machiato was good. Balanced. My veggie dumplings were fresh tasting and yummy. I will probably be back soon to read and of course, drink coffee. I love all the books and laid back vibes. Good experience.“
“Eden's Kitchen felt like a childhood invite to a friend's house for dinner. The food was fresh, well balanced, simple, yet delicious. This cozy restaurant has a great outdoor space and homey vibes. We ordered the beef with collard greens and lamb spris with injera. The lamb cooked with fresh tomatoes and both came with a mini side salad. Injera was authentic in texture but I personally would've preferred a little more tang to the flavor.Next time we'll probably order a veggie sampler with our meat dishes. We came at 4:30pm on Friday with no reservation. Parking can be done on the street around the corner.“
“My first taste of East coast soul food and I must say it was delicious. Family business and I have been adopted into the family. I feel safe my baby bison has Uncle James, Mama Charlene and Aunty Nikki across the street from the School of Business at Howard University.“
“Great local bar with friendly staff. We stopped in when we were visiting because they play the Bills games. We only had drinks but they did serve some delicious looking chicken wings that everyone was eating during the game. I enjoyed some local made craft seltzer. Stop by for a drink if you are in the area.“
“If you’re seeking a dining experience that blends impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and a dash of Southern charm, look no further than Ms. Toya’s Creole Seafood in Silver Spring. From the moment we stepped into Ms. Toya's, it was clear that we were in for a treat. Our server, Felicia, went above and beyond to ensure that my husband's 60th birthday celebration was nothing short of extraordinary. The table was adorned with charming birthday decorations, setting the stage for a memorable evening.Felicia's knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she patiently guided us through our selections, making recommendations and explaining each dish with enthusiasm. The whole red snapper fish, cooked to perfection, stole the show. Paired with broccoli and asparagus, it was a symphony of flavors that left us craving more. My husband's gumbo was rich and flavorful, while the bayou and surf 'n turf rolls were a delightful addition to our meal. After dinner, Felicia surprised us with warm beignets and vanilla ice cream, accompanied by a heartfelt rendition of "Happy Birthday." Her warmth and charm truly elevated our dining experience. If I may offer one suggestion, it would be to consider providing wet naps or warm towels along with a bib for messier dishes like the gumbo. Despite my husband's best efforts to avoid spills, it was a humorous moment that added to the charm of the evening. In summary, Ms. Toya's Creole Seafood exceeded our expectations in every way. With impeccable service, delicious cuisine, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's a dining destination we'll be returning to again and again.Parking: Convenient parking is always a plus, and Ms. Toya's Creole Seafood doesn't disappoint in that department either. We parked in Town Square Garage, the large parking lot across the street, with its multiple levels and clear signage indicating available spaces, ensures a hassle-free experience from the moment you arrive. Using the ParkMobile app to pay for parking adds to the convenience, allowing you to focus on enjoying your dining experience without worrying about parking meters or finding spare change. Plus, the well-lit surroundings and ample signage make navigating the parking lot a breeze, ensuring a stress-free start to your evening at Ms. Toya's.mKid-friendliness: While Ms. Toya's Creole Seafood may not be the ideal spot for children with shorter attention spans, it certainly caters to adults seeking a relaxed dining experience with excellent food and drinks. The atmosphere is more suited for adults looking to unwind and enjoy their meal without distractions. However, they do provide high chairs and have a friendly staff willing to accommodate families with young children. So, if you're in the mood for fantastic food and drinks and can keep your little one entertained, Ms. Toya's is still a great option.“
“I was in a serious pinch at work, I called and was able to get fresh food very quickly. Not only that but everyone at the Tentlytown location was beyond nice! I really wish I could remember the specific name of the employee I spoke to but my hands were full so I wasn’t able to writing it down. Thank you all, you turned a very stressful situation into a very pleasant experience!“
“I absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere. We went in on a Saturday evening looking for something to eat late. While it was crowded and we didn't have a reservation, we were still accommodated and the food was excellent. We had the crab Fried Rice, Oysters and some other appetizers and cocktails and it was all excellent including the service. The atmosphere is a total Vibe. The music was great. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day for brunch. The brunch menu was a tad bit different but great options. I had the crab cake Benedict and we had a peach cobbler bread pudding it was SO Good. The chef is superb?? his name was Sam I believe, he even came out and greeted us the night before. It was Sunday, Mimosas, a live DJ the music was my kind of flow, good food and again good vibes. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. If you are in DC, this is definitely a spot to check out. It is black owned, and I know it will be my spot every time I visit.Vegetarian options: The vegan egg rolls were delicious they had several other options as well I didn't feel left out.Dietary restrictions: My friend has a cheese allergy is sprinkled on the Oysters but it wasn't indicated on the menu. Things like fish, dairy etc common food allergies should be listed on menu items. But the menu is great I must addParking: We walked from our hotel. There is an Omni Hotel right across the street. All I saw was street parking which was full not sure if it offers any other parking accommodations“
“This lovely and comfortable restaurant is very vegetarian/vegan restaurant but it does serve meat and fish so please don't be dissuaded by the labels. Large, airy restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Went with friends - waiter was so friendly. In fact, all the staff were. Food was delicious. All healthy and freshly prepared. Highly recommend.“
“It wasn’t a bad spot! The service was quick, our large party got sat fairly quickly, and it’s located in a cute neighborhood to walk around in.The only con is that the “homemade pop tarts” aka puff pastries were pretty dry. Other than that it was great though.“
“I’ve been seeing this restaurant for years and we finally tried it recently. We really were missing out!! Every single item of food that we ordered was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful and they were so kind and patient with our toddler. They have a great coloring sheet option for kids with crayons and she was distracted for big chunk of time, which was great for us. I really do love it when a restaurant thinks about their younger customers. Really appreciated that. The atmosphere is great and felt very cozy and welcoming. Not too loud, not too quiet — just right. Seating was ample and there was no wait since we were there on a weekday for dinner. We’ll definitely be back soon!“
“We were pleasantly surprised that it was easy to find a brunch table on a Saturday. Our server Chelsea was polite and helpful, even offering us a complimentary dessert, as they seemed a bit short- staffed. The portions were excellent and we very much enjoyed our meal. We'll be back! “
“Went here with my dad for the mixology class, got paired with the most amazing bartender there, I didn’t catch his name but 10/10 service everyone there was very attentive and nice. I would recommend this place to everyone. We didn’t eat there since we only wanted drinks but the food smelled amazing and I didn’t see anyone leaving food on the plate. My dad and I would come again.“
“The epitome of excellence, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, everything is executed to perfection. The staff is lovely and warm, the food is stellar, and the ambiance is unbeatable. Everything make you feel warm and at home. We had the squash salad, mac and cheese, and for entrees chose the smash burger and steak frites.“
“Very happy to have discovered this local spot. Grand Duchess mixes funky and intimate bar vibes in a quasi elegant way, and the bartenders are always kind and friendly, add knowledgeable too. Great for friend hangs, a date night, or just to enjoy a beer solo!“
“Sometimes the best meals can be found in an industrial park in Beltsville. I also learned that this restaurant offers a Nigerian twist on shawarma. This meal consisted of the mouthwatering supreme shawarma with a side of fried sweet potatoes“
“Super fresh~!! Bibimbap becomes Subway. I was surprised that the red pepper paste sauce and kimchi were better than expected. The portion is large and it tastes much better when eaten than in the photo.Vegetarian options: All you have to do is select vegetables from the option selection.Kid-friendliness: The space is spacious and equipped with chairs for children.“
“After dinner in Mosaic District, my I Do Crew went to Ted's Bulletin for drinks and dessert. Our party occupied 5 seats at the bar. Our bartender Omar S. was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made delicious drinks. My friends enjoyed the Cherry Old Fashioned, The Back Nine, Garden Party, and Peachy Keen. I enjoyed two gin-based cocktails: Botanical Garden and Violet Queen cocktails. Both cocktails were floral and quite strong. We shared the Cherry Blossom Tres Leches, which was not as pictured on the website but tasted delicious. We couldn't finish it, so I took it home. Before we left, another girl bought us a round of Green Tea shot to celebrate my bachelorette. I liked how the Green Tea shot was made with Jameson Whiskey, Peach Schnapps, Lime Juice, and Simple Syrup!“
“Looking for an Asian restaurant close by our hotel (The Westin Washington DC) and we were pleasantly surprised to find a Filipino restaurant only 3 mins walking distance. We had shrimp palabok, lumpia Shanghai, and lechon kawali. Everything was delicious and at a good price! Mom says we don’t have to find Jollibee in the area, Pogiboy is so much better!“
“Dropped by for dinner, and it was just a short walk from the Ritz. The food was ok, and the service was spotty. The place was pretty busy with hotel guests. The decor was nice and the lounge was posh. Good to see people out enjoying themselves.“
“Great potential for the falafel platter, with some missteps that keep it from being five stars.First, the good:- sauces were excellent (toum, shut)- dips were great (hummus, labneh, and a chickpea stew)- bread (shrak) was great- fries were great (served with cilantro)- onion/parsley garnish was very good but needed to be more of it- falafel was good- salata was pretty goodHere’s what can be improved:- the Persian style grilled tomato and grilled onion make no sense as a side for a falafel platter… it should either be served with tabbouleh or chopped raw tomatoes and onion, either of which add freshness and cut through the heavy sauces- speaking of tabbouleh, it was supposed to come with some but didn’t- the fries, falafel and chickpea stew were a little too salty- personal preference: I don’t like pickled beets in general very much, I didn’t like these pickled beets in particular very much, and I strongly feel that pickled cucumbers are superior on a falafelThe good parts about the platter were great. But, the actual falafel wrap was a little off, because it lacked fresh veggies. The sauce, the bread will keep me coming back, but I hope the owners take note of this feedbackVegetarian options: Falafel platter seems to be vegetarian friendly“
“Just a donut review. Lots of unique varieties to choose from. All but one seemed fresh and delicious-could they actually be a day old? The cherry blossom was excellent and fresh. Service friendly but there's not much to taking an order and handing it over . Small place by Whole Foods- plenty of parking. They have breakfast sandwiches and fried chicken- have to try that at some point. $24/6 donuts. Mostly worth it for a special occasion!“
“Case in point, never judge a book by its’ cover. DC is filled with nondescript brick buildings and you could easily walk by Firefly, but don’t. Make a reservation for brunch at this extremely well run and delicious neighborhood restaurant.“
“Since moving to Gaithersburg, I've been to Ted's Bulletin numerous times for breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and late night drinks. Every time I walk into Ted's, I'm greeted by a warm and friendly face (usually Carissa or Adam). The service is best during breakfast and lunch. Among all the servers (Brendan, Daniel, Dom, Emma, Galo, Isiah, Justin, Nico, Patty, Tatiana, Todor) I've had, Patty is the best. She is warm and welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive. Shout outs to Emma and Todor for making delicious drinks! For breakfast, my favorites include Chai Latte, Pineapple Ginger Mimosa, Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Duck Confit Hash (available in the Spring), Garden Omelet (made with egg whites, spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms, and cheddar cheese), Jon's Omelet, and Smoked Salmon Benedict (not the Norway Benedict). If you're not in the mood for alcohol, they make delicious mocktails. Among the four mocktails, my favorites are Garden Party and Whiskey Surprise. For lunch, my favorites are Chicken Noodle Soup, Ted's Tomato Soup, Caesar Salad, Green Goddess Salad (available in the Spring), Halloumi Kale Salad, Harvest Salad (available Fall/Winter), and Mexican Street Salad. For happy hour, they offer $5 Draft Beer (including Aslin Seasonal IPA, Jailbreak Lady Friend), $6 Wines, $8 Signature Cocktails (Avenue Smash, Bad Apple, Blackberry Moon, Blueberry Mule, Botanical Garden, Cherry Old Fashioned (made with Bulleit instead of Maker's Mark), Cheshire Sour, Oldest Fashioned, Peach Pit, Ted's Hot Cider (made with Fireball), The Back Nine, Violet Queen), and $3 off Appetizers (including Bacon Cheeseburger Empanadas, Chicken Parm Sliders, Deviled Eggs Royale, Fried Pickles, Maryland Crab Dip, Reuben Tacos, Truffle Mac & Cheese Bites, Tuna Tartare, Whipped Ricotta). For dinner, my favorites are their Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Piccata, Lamb Dinner Plate (available Easter weekend only), Reuben with Truffle Fries, and Steak Frites. For dessert, my favorites are Cherry Blossom Tres Leches (available in three Spring), Cherry Coke Pie, and Ted's Tarts (Cherry Blossom, Peach, Peeps (seasonal around Easter), Strawberry).Next time, I'll have try their Chicken Parmesan, Chicken & Waffles, Grilled Shrimp Tacos, Lamb Mezze Plate, Lamb Burger, Mustard and Sesame Crusted Tuna Bowl, Pan Seared Rockfish, Roasted Chicken, and Spring Pappadelle.Dietary restrictions: gluten-free and vegetarianKid-friendliness: kids menu including Mr. Breakfast, PB&J, Kids Pasta, Grilled Cheese, Chicken Burger, Kids Burger, and Mr. Healthy HabitsWheelchair accessibility: wide door, restaurant is one level“
“Revisited for Jiro Ramen.I increased the rating one star. They did good job of making Jiro ramen. The taste was good and it is good to enjoy Jiro ramen here in this area. Very rare opportunity. However, I ordered Mt. Fuji Jiro which costs about 10 dollars more than the normal Jiro, and I was expecting that Mt. Fuji Jiro would be equivalent to Jiro with 'Mashi Mashi' vegetables etc. however, Mt. Fuji Jiro's portion was quite disappointing. It would have been better ordering the normal Jiro with adding some toppings like bean sprouts etc. It's way pricy than Yume Wo Katare in Boston. Considering all these, yes I increased one star rating but it would not be enough to give 5-star. I wish they will offer another Jiro days and bring true Jiro spirit here (Jirorians (Jiro enthusiast) love and enjoy 'Mashi Mashi' portion)***********************************It is ok taste, not very bad. This shop does not have a parking so you should park at a parking lot nearby. The service was ok. It is a bit pricy but understandable because of its location. It says a real Japanese ramen which probably true, but I, born and raised in Japan, have never heard Zao ramen when I lived in Japan. I looked it up on google and it looks like Zao ramen (蔵王ラーメン) in Japan is not that popular (the rating is like 3 out of 5) and I totally agree with the rating (I do not know if this Zao in Bethesda is related to Zao ramen in Japan though).“
