“Really delicious and awesome vibe! This is a creative Asian place where I would say noodles are their forte. The area is really small and cozy, with great decor. They only seat about 20 people at a time in their space, so I would reserve or come early. We came as they opened and were seated as a party of 5.For food, LOVE the brontosaurus! The broth is excellent and rich but too too rich, nicely smoked ribs, excellent selection of side veggies and the noodles had a great texture. The noodles in the mazemans were the same noodles as the brontosaurus, but the mazeman has no broth and so I prefer the brontosaurus. The ribs in the brontosaurus could’ve been more tender but I still loved it overall! Pork buns were good as well. Beautiful presentation and great taste on all! And nice edgy underground atmosphere/decor and reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: Mushroom ramen“

“Wife and I live in DC. We go 4 or 5 times per year. Best dinning experience in DC. Don’t even read the menu. Let Bonnie great server, just bring you food and wine pairings. Blow you away. We usually sit at the upstairs bar. Chefs table was great as well. The wine flight is worth every penny. Bring your Amex!“

“The bottomless brunch is incredible. If you have the chance to do it, don't hesitate. Let the wait staff choose your options. Our waiter brought us about 75% of them menu, and offered to bring us anything else he skipped or seconds of our favorites.“

“I ordered the alfredo pasta and it was by far THE BEST pasta dish I've ever had in the United States. I went with my brother and finance and they agreed that my dish was the best. We were celebrating my brother's graduation and the waitress brought out limoncello shots for us as a surprise at the end.“

“I visit my boyfriend in DC, from colorado, and we stop here every single time. It is one of our all time favourite spots. I always get the suki, but my boyfriend has gone through the menu and his favourite is the grilled beef! We will continue to come back!!“

I had the ginger chicken soup dumpling and the crystal shrimp dumplings: delish! For main, I had the Maketto chicken. It was such a good balance of sweet and spicy.Had such a good experience thank you Stella!“

“5 out of 5 stars, this three story restaurant is interestingly unnoticeable but I’m glad I was invited here to experience it. It sits next to an open air lot which is definitely needed on H St. The food was amazing, I had the sea bass, plantains, salad, and cassava fries (can’t remember what they were called) and everything was so good. The staff was efficient and friendly and the chef came out to speak with us and it amazing to see that he’s native DC and young he is. I definitely recommend this place for dinner. I wish I paused to take pictures but maybe next time.“

“Probably one of my favorite restaurants in DC right now. Food was amazing-- definitely get the octopus and gambas. The red sangria was also really good. Ambiance was very classic Spanish-- perfect to come for date night, with friends, or with family. Service was great and very accommodating.“

“Should you eat here? Simple answer: YES! My friend RAVES about this restaurant constantly, and I never understood her obsession until she brought me here a couple weeks ago. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu... really. Hands down some of the best sushi + sides I've ever had. There's not really a way to put into words how amazing the food, service, and full experience was! Definitely look to make a reservation a few weeks in advance, especially if you plan to come by on Friday/the weekend!“

“Shilling is probably the most underrated restaurant in DC.Every single item I’ve ever gotten from them has been phenomenal, I’ve yet to have a bad dish. The service feels like you’re part of the family there, where you constantly have a team checking in on you.I cannot recommend this place enough, it beats out several Michelin star restaurants in DC in terms of food and quality, not to mention their cocktails are some of the best in the area.“

“This spot on H St Corridor is hands down my favorite. The drinks, service, and food consistently impress. The ambiance is wonderfully moody with dim lighting and great background music. I always opt for the vegan version of the beef noodles, which are consistently flavorful and delicious. The bartenders are not only friendly but also knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations. I appreciate that they maintain an accessible archive of past menus, allowing guests to order from a wide range of drink options. Despite its small size and the place sometimes getting crowded, outdoor seating and an extra bar on the back patio provide additional space.“

“It’s like boujie carribean food but not gonna hold you the food here is good. I love the doubles and honestly their crafted cocktails are a must too. Bartender is also always kind! Place is cute and quaint.Sometimes I think the prices coulddddd be a little lower for some of the bigger plates but it’s an experience so I get it!“

“The breakfast was amazing, they have some unique dishes that you will not find on any menu in DC. And fresh squeezed orange orange juice. The service was also outstanding. Joey gave us a few extra side dishes to try. I love that you can brunch here during the week. This place is a gem!“

“Great lump crab bombs! I am glad they had old bay on the table, I needed more seasoning personally. Service was pretty much a bust, at 430 in the afternoon, too. Would go again if I were in the area, but wouldn't make the drive from where I came from again.“

“Cute spot located very close to union station. Came in for dinner on a week night and the place was decently busy. The server was kind and attentive. For food, I had the lamb shawarma which was very tasty and actually the perfect amount of food, although the pita bread that came with was pretty dry. My friend got the lamb sliders which also looked pretty good!“

“Super kind and helpful staff and food is 10/10.Had brisket sandwich, tried the cheddar sausage, and had a banana cream pudding. I forgot to even try the bbq sauce cause the brisket doesn’t need it. Good Texas bbq. Can’t wait to try other meats.“

“Friendly and attentive service. The atmosphere is lively and comfortable, lots of tables and outdoor space. It is located away from any loud roads which is a plus. Fun and expansive cocktail menu- I started with the Wolf Spritzer and then had a Beer-Garita. Solid guac. I ordered the duck tacos and plantains, both pictured. Highly recommend both. This is a fun addition to Union Market.“

“A ramen shop that serves some hearty meals in a fun-looking interior with colorful lights and designs. The staff are attentive, and the food is brought out quickly. I would recommend their Black Miso Cheese Ramen, which had a good broth, especially compared to the Tokyo Ramen. I also wasn't the biggest fan of the noodles, as they were a little on the tough side. We also tried the Tako Corn Dogs, which were on the doughier side and would not recommend.“

“On our way home from visiting Wash DC, we stopped at this place for dinner. It was conveniently located right off the BW Parkway (I-295), in Bladensburg. The restaurant is located at an intersection, in a small old building. It looked like a converted gas station. The parking lot is very small, maybe 10-12 spaces. Inside, the dinning room is also small with limited seating. People that came in after us had to wait for a table. The menu is very simple. The only appetizer was cha gio or egg roll. The entrees included pho, bun Bo hue, and 2 rice dishes (chicken or pork chop). The pho came in 3 sizes: children, small, and large. I got a large #5 pho tai nam. Both my wife and daughter got the bun Bo hue. The food came out hot after a short 5 minute wait. Both noodle soups came with a good amount of noodles and meat. Both broths were flavorful and authentic tasting. My wife was impressed with their bun Bo hue, noting that it was better than her own homemade version ( which I never heard her say before). We left this place happy and full.“

“Easiest five stars I can give! I found Tacos a la Madre a few years ago - they have the absolute best tacos in the PG area for a fantastic price! Nowadays, I get the nine taco bundle for $34ish bucks. These bundles are great for two or three people to enjoy for a meal and come with different types of salsa (mild or spicy), cut limes, and a quick bag of chips. The food is just so flavorful - my favorite proteins are the carnitas, the steak, and the shrimp. But honestly, they're all perfect. They have quite a few other menu options too - I've wanted to try the quesadillas or the carne asada fries for the longest but can't bring myself to visit and not get a platter of tacos. The service is quick and friendly. The staff gets you in and out of the restaurant fairly quickly and do a nice job of making you feel welcome. The restaurant itself is pretty small but it's usually not too busy inside so you can find a place to sit if you'd like to eat inside. The best seating though is at one of the shaded picnic style tables in front of the restaurant. This front patio on a sunny day is the perfect spot to enjoy some delicious bites. I'll 100% be back soon!“

“Another delicious meal - I frequented the original location and I have visited the trendy and welcoming CR NoMA more than any other sit-down restaurant in DC. How is the Pastrami Poblano even better, each time I order? Perfectly runny egg, soft and toasted ciabatta, delicious crispy spiced fries. The cigars appetizer are not to be missed. Weather you choose the wines, beers, cocktails or mocktails, you are in for a good time. Thanks Oded and team for making our night out a great one!“

“My first time here. It's been a while since I had been out so for water me and my friends came here. The ambiance is cute. Very barrel like place. Especially if you are a whiskey drinker. The bottomless mimosas were a hit. Our waiter Mason was awesome. He assisted us with our many dietary restrictions lol. The manager even came over and chatted with us. I would definitely come back. Oh and we finished brunch off with a whiskey flight!!!! Yes a good time was had by ALL......“

“Fun spot for dinner and good food. Our server was very nice, yet didn't course out our food, so we had two pasta dishes and fish show up at the same time. The octopus starter was my favorite dish. The pasta and fish were also good, but not necessarily the hottest when we ate them, given everything arriving at once“

“Nestled neatly into Barracks Row, this longtime establishment offers an incredible cozy atmosphere. It's a fantastic family run business and the staff were great. The tortellini alla panna was delicious. The penne alla vodka was solid, but a little bland. I'm eager to come back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend to those in the area looking for a casual italian spot.“

“As it was a beautiful day in DC even with a reservation Belga was packed! We were offered the alternative option of The Betsy. This is Belga's Alley outdoor upstairs off shoot. You get the same amazing food in a chicken centric ( chicken puns galore) locale. My group actually preferred this as it was much quieter than the main restaurant and not on the busy sidewalk of the barracks row and a more intimate space (less tables). If you can get over the kitschy chicken puns decor if offered this option on your visit I would recommend this option over the main restaurant.“

“I dropped in on an early Monday evening for take-out and had a drink while I waited. They have some pretty awesome menu items and it was quite difficult for me to chose. I opted for the veggie chimichanga. I ordered a margarita, snacked on some chips and delicious salsa and enjoyed the wait. After I dug in at home, I was pleasantly pleased with the presentation of my food along with the tastiness. It was amazing! I couldn't believe I've lived in the area my whole young adult years and never been there! Definitely a place to keep in your pocket!“

“The ingredients are top-notch, but if you like or are accustomed to picking up a slice of pizza with your hand, prepare to be disappointed and challenged here because the pies here are consistently limp amd soggy. I live across the street and the few times I have ordered takeout pizza from this place, I go home and finish cooking it in my own oven. It's pretty damn tasty afterwards too.“

“Our family truly loved every minute of our time at Mozzeria. Meg, our server, was attentive, kind, and patient as our kids practiced their ASL skills. It was a great experience to immersive ourselves in this culture and use the opportunity to learn, practice, and educate ourselves beyond our own understanding. Not to mention that the food was AMAZING! Visiting Mozzeria is a must.“

“A family run and operated restaurant. Manish and his sons not only deliver the best Indian cuisine, but they welcome all with warth and kindness. As for their food: first timers will love the chicken tiki masala. We love the lamb or fish, biriani. “The best hard roll sub in DC has got to be the G Man. My family has been eating them for well over 40 years. It's a family run carry out that has consistently made the same sandwich's for my family my whole entire life. If I'm in the neighborhood, I pick some up for everyone. It's a tradition my father started and I happily carry it on.“

“Pretty darn good for a diner. I normally don't care about diner food but this place has some interesting menu options that cross between traditional American food and Mediterranean food. The Mediterranean food is pretty good but maybe a bit over focused on even though it doesn't provide a different dietary selection for customers. Still though, it's good food and a great place for brunch.“

“It was a lovely dinner. The Sauerbraten with potato dumplings and the Boar Goulash with Cheddar Mashed Potatoes Entrees we had were superb. We shared the potato pancakes and the cup of goulash as our appetizers were excellent. The pink lady apple strudel is not to be missed. Order it at the same time you're ordering Entrees as it's made and baked to order. Everything was amazing. My husband was stationed in Germany for many years. He was so impressed with the food. We will be back to dine once again. Thank you!“

“We enjoyed our meal of soup dumplings, Dan Dan Noodles and Spicy Fish Soup, The noodles were fresh and just spicy enough. We saw quite a few other things on the menu we are looking forward to trying. The server was friendly and helpful. I don't love the i-pad ordering system, but more of a personal preference than an issue. My only other feedback is that as a Chinese restaurant they need a better hot tea service. They didn't have any standard Chinese teas - not even a bag of green tea.“
