“We’ve been here multiple times and the food is always consistently fantastic. Their Carbonara is incredible, the meatballs are like no other, and the baklava is honestly the best I’ve ever had. “Generally recommend because this is literally our favorite place… however last night was a horrible experience. It was my husbands birthday and we took our 2 kids. Amy was our server and she was AWFUL. We were there for over an hour and a half and barely got drinks and our appetizers. We ended up getting so irritated by lack of service we didn’t even eat our meals. We took them home and threw them away because at that point it was soggy and gross. So we didn’t even eat what we paid for. Instead of standing around chatting maybe actually serve your tables. Never got drink refills or asked if we wanted one for that matter. She wasn’t even the one to bring us our stuff. Other servers did because she was to busy chatting and standing around. Btw the host was fantastic and is always fantastic. She works very hard!”

“The dinner at Cheung Lee Express was fantastic! The portions were very generous; the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the owners are extremely attentive and make you feel at home. The subgum chow mein was packed with vegetables, and the Egg-Foo Yum was scrumptious. We look forward to coming again.”

“This was a great place and a great experience! Neat place with a robust menu of typical favorites and some nice weekly specials. We had a party 6 and the place was hopping so I sat with my 2 boys while the others sat at the table next to us. The server was spectacular and the the food was cooked perfect. Great portions too! The value was spot on the the icing on the cake was the 6 peanut butter balls from the bakery that we took to go. We will be back for sure!

I enjoyed the nachos, but probably won’t order them again! Overall, the food was a great value! We will definitely order from here again !”

“Really cute relaxing little cafe with great food and what tasted like a delicious homemade pickle on the side! I had a tasty raspberry tea from their cooler and the wicked garden sandwich made dairy free and gluten free. I'm not Celiac so when it comes to their panini press I'm not sure about cross-contamination, but you probably can have a wrap there if you're celiac! I will definitely be back when I'm in the Waterville area! I think the only thing I do different next time is probably ask for a little extra of the Chipotle aioli on the sandwich because the gluten-free bread can be a little dryer.”

“There are so many reasons I love Sunrise. For starters, there’s the great food, but it’s so much more than that. This is a local business that seriously and genuinely invests in its community and THAT is why it will be here for a really long time. I’m convinced it will be a “generational business” that will be in the Central Maine business landscape for YEARS. “This hand made ice cream is so good. The affogato is the best I’ve ever had. The banana ice cream is unreal. We love it here and try and find excuses to drive to Waterville so we can stop and get ice cream.”

Although I didn't realize it...we were apparently celebrating our 37th wedding Anniversary ( which is next week)...and my husband surprised me with some breathtaking earrings! The staff was very good, and the food was unbelievable! Our friends loved it...and so did we. I think we found our new Favorite restaurant! Thanks for a fabulous dinner!🥰”

“They were in a large rush due to the influx of people from my marching band but the service was good. I got the veggie sandwich with cheese and the only note I have is I want more mushrooms, but I can just ask for that in the future. The milkshakes took a while and my friend wasn’t a fan of hers but, once again, total rush. The reviews everywhere was tacky.”

“The best Mexican food!!! We have been followers of them since their smaller restaurant to their much larger restaurant. it is always packed and shows you whar a favorite they are to all. Their chips are homemade and are absolutely delicious! All servings are HUGE. fajitas and distata are family favorites. Servers are very friendly, and attentive. They deserve 5 stars every time!!!”

“Went to Ruby Tuesday on Wednesday and go the salad bar, which was suppose to be 6.99 on special when we got our bill the girl had charged us 12.99 each and we call her back to the table and told her she had made a mistake in the price she changed it to 6.99 but are we suppose to tell her we want the special? I thought if it was on special when you order salad bar you shouldn’t have to check your bill .”

“We ate here four times on our trip. First it was out of convenience being right in the hotel, but the second night because the food was really great. First night we had appetizers and salad. The salad had loads of fresh veggies including snap peas and yellow tomatoes. Quesadillas were packed with peppers, onions, and grilled chicken. And chicken wings were crispy and served with chunky blue cheese and carrots and celery. Next night we had burgers and a chicken steak that was also excellently prepared with very fresh veggies and crispy fries. I travel a bit and wanted to take a moment to recognize a small town hotel restaurant doing a great job for a very reasonable price.”

“One of the only burger places around that celebrates the seasons and holidays. They also have a community fundraiser. And are involved with local non profits. The manager seems professional, nice and he knows how to run a restaurant. The employees were professional. The food is good. A fun place to have a burger.”

“Normally portions are small especially for steak but this place had amazing portion sizes. It tasted amazing and was really accommodating.

They even serve really large portions of sushi too. The lobster gave you a large piece not shredded but actually pieces of claw.”
