“On our way to breakfast, my 2 kids and I walked into Bayside Nutrition and Kathy and her daughter were super friendly and helpful with their beverages. I ended up ordering one drink (can’t remember name of drink) and I liked it so much that we went back after breakfast and I ordered another one and my kids also ordered their own. I recommend this place. The ladies are very knowledgeable, listen to you and help you make a great choice based on what you tell them. We live in California but would definitely go again if I’m in their area.“

“I stopped here for the first time today. I had the New Speedway Banana smoothie bowl which was delicious! The portion size was large and the bowl was made perfect and was very filling with fresh ingredients. The menu consisted of smoothies, smoothie bowls and salads. The location is great especially if your driving through the Portland area since it is just off of I-295.“

“Worth the trip! Glazed donuts were my fave(but tried a variety). Fried in healthy fat(lard) and no vegetable oil! Fantastic.Note: Not the fault of the donut shop, but the city of Portland is wild! Next time we are just gonna drive-by-pickup the donuts and head out! It breaks my heart to see the crime and the people who are passed out on the sidewalk from drugs.“

“I’m obsessed with this place. They have really high quality authentic Asian sauces and spices, and alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. They also carry cook books and merch. In addition to grocery items, they sell homemade baked goods and drinks. I’m obsessed with their hojicha latte. I love matcha latte but I’ve never had any other kind of green tea latte. I tried their hojicha green tea latte and I’m hooked. It’s a bit nutty and has less caffeine than a matcha latte, which is perfect for a midday pick-me-up. The staff are really nice and I’ve had a pleasant experience every time I’ve gone in. It’s really great to have more diversity of Asian focused groceries and bakery in Portland!P.s. they even have a congee bar!“

“This is a very spacious Coffee by Design. If you've been in Portland for a long time, you'll know that most of the coffee by designs have been small, cozy spots. This is more of a cozy large spacious one! Definitely not intimate in the main room but there is a separate seating area that I believe used to be for staff only which now they have opened up for customers. That's a nice spot if you prefer more quiet. Anyway, the coffee's always great as it is at every Coffee by Design. The customer service is always pretty good. They have lots of different types of seating , for example, you can sit at the bar where the baristas make their magic, or you can sit at a two top table, or you can sit and lounge at one of the tables that has leather cushion seats. They also have large glass windows into the roasting room (is that what it's called?) that can look through.It's my favorite coffee shop in Portland. And if you want to celebrate true Portland local business, go there.PS I am so so sad that I'm not able to bring my pup in with me anymore. I've always been appreciative of coffee by design, allowing well-behaved dogs to accompany their owners. I think it's because now they have some food items. “We had a brief one night stop on our Maine roadtrip. Asked recommendations about local beer place in our dinner spot The Highroller Lobster. Girl pointed to the Maps. We had one beer each, but the bartender knew milliliters (which is odd and great at the same time). The Commodores LP was spinning and fullfilling Tuesday's eve experience. I am from Lithuania, so I did not liked the map with soviet union, even I understand this is a piece of history, but it should be hanging in restroom or somewhere in less respectful place. Great beer and atmosphere overall.“

“Been hunting a good cup of coffee in Downtown Portland and I finally found it! I asked for a cappuccino and it had delicious frothy milk and the coffee didn’t taste acid/sour like most places I’ve tried. Fair price and great quality. Also, the barista/employee was super nice.“

The homemade corned beef hash was some of the best I’ve had and my wife’s cinnamon roll waffle was also a huge hit. Service was great as well. “We went to a few locations and every single one was great. We grabbed the pumpkin latte drink that has brown sugar in it as well and it was amazing! We also ordered some sandwiches and they were nice and warm. The staff was always friendly and patient since we were on vacation and had never been to one before. “Okay, I was looking for a coffee place to kill some time at before an appointment in the area. This place came up in my search and boy am I glad I decided to stop here. First - it is super cute. With a mix of community tables, counter seating, and even one very cozy looking chair (I say looking because it was occupied and I was unable to plunk myself down and enjoy my book - which it was beckoning me to do). They have an extensive coffee menu and use their own roasted beans. I went with a standard coffee but did upgrade to maple syrup for my sweetener. (Anyone who knows me knows this alone won me over!) And, if you eat in - your coffee comes in a beautiful real mug! They have decent bakery case which is stocked with pastries from Two Fat Cats and bagels from Rose Foods! That's right - you can get a Rose Food bagel without the hassle of parking on Forest Ave in Portland. I got the Mystery Spice (old bay seasoning) and enjoyed half with Olive Cream Cheese and the other with Herbed. Clearly they make the cream cheeses here in house and they are delicious. The place seems pretty popular as there were many people here on a Thursday morning. Already planning a trip back here with a friend for a little remote work day!“
