“I walked over from the Greektown parking garage and went here prior to the Red Wings game on 2/27/2024. The two young ladies working behind the bar and also out on the floor were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Tom, the shuttle bus driver, was terrific. I'll definitely be back!“
“What a great little restaurant with a great view of the Detroit River you can sit outside and enjoy a great view when having a awesome dinner. We were going to the casino for a show so we decided to take a walk and found Eastwoods and I’m glad we did. This was a great way to start my 49th birthday night off great friendly people Lexi as our server she was so awesome fun and could joke around with us goof balls,we met the owner she is awesome as well very friendly she took the time to stop by each table that’s great to see. We all had different chicken dinners and were all great I will be going back soon.“
“First time. Lunch on weekday. Tried their burger adding onion rings $11.95 and Blue Moon beer, total bill $19 plus tip. Reason for 4 and not 5 stars, I ordered burger "medium rare, more rare than medium " and it was served as medium wellness“
“Great beer selection. I tried two of their house made beers and they were fantastic! They also have a very large refrigerator case with beers from around the world that you can drink there or take home. It's a German style beer hall seating and a couple of TVs and a bar. The staff was great. They recently brought in Deutschtoit to provide German food and it is very authentic. Definitely put this place on your list of places to try. You won't be disappointed.“
“So... I never knew about this place for brunch. Wow, one of the better brunches I've had period. We had the shrimp and grits and the vegan biscuits and gravy. To sum our meal up...as the kids would say...it slapped!! It was so damn good. The shrimp and grits came with two polenta cakes. Then smoothed in a creamy sauce, topped with a pile of shrimp and bacon. You can't go wrong! The shrimp had a Cajun seasoning on them that tasted great with the cream sauce. The grilled toast points was a perfect addition to soak up some of the sauce.I only sampled some of the vegan biscuits and gravy. From what I tasted the gravy was rich and flavorful. The tofu scramble was seasoned well and it had a nice mix of peppers and onions it tasted pretty good.Overall I highly recommend this place for bunch.“
“Eastern Market Brewing is a great spot to grab some Detroit themed brews in Eastern Market. There is plenty of seating available, inside and out. Little fire pits to keep you warm on a chilly day. There are to-go options if you are unable to dine in. The employees were friendly & upbeat. Give Eastern Market Brewing a try!“
“I've been here a handful of times. Each visit it is a really good time. I highly suggest the trunk burger. Old school bar burger with a little more. They have a vast selection for drinks, the atmosphere is perfect before 6 p.m not too loud. But if you like a party, definitely go after 6.Parking: Around the corner by Monroe street midway there's parking. It's about a 3 minute walk to the bar from there.“
“The potato pancakes had little flavor. The Sausage Soup was VERY good. The Rindfleisch Rouladen was good as well. The side cabbage had little flavor. I ordered a Koenigsberer Klops (German meatballs) to go. It has 3 meatballs ( just ground beef and capers ) and a lemon caper sauce over fried spaetzle and a condiment cup of cabbage. Not worth $20 IMHO. The service was OK for us getting there at the beginning of an St Andrew's after show rush. Had a "$10 cover charge " sign that they took away when they saw people passing by“
“Very cool environment to grab a beer and watch a soccer game in the eastern market area of Detroit. The service is always very attentive and friendly. A very unexpected must try for this sports bar is their Irish coffee. This traditionally made drink is on point very comparable to The Buena Vista in San fransisco.“
“Great historic neighbourhood bar with a tucked away patio and lots of divey charm. Great place for a sunny afternoon pint, dinner, or a night out. They have regular karaoke and live music, and you are bound to have a good time no matter what your scene. It's a local favourite!“
“Finally tried this place. We will definitely be back!!! Big Meaty Wings, huge choice of sauces, classic style of Mozzarella Sticks and a huge burger I couldn't finish. It's not fine dining, but I wasn't looking for that. If good, inexpensive food is what you're looking for, Liquid Library can't be beat!“
“We absolutely love this place. Probably the best priced, best atmosphere, best people in the park. They have darts and as of late, pinball. Outdoor patio for dogs that is heated in wintertime. And the bartenders are always the kindest. A must see!“
“Hubby and I just relocated and are new to town. We stopped in for our first visit and Patty and Justin treated us like regulars. So friendly and such great customer service. We felt very welcomed. The drinks were great and the food was delicious! The double cheeseburger and totchos were impressively scrumptious. The burger was so juicy and one of the best we’ve had in town! We are looking forward to many more great memories at Old Pony. Cheers friends!“
“Visited in late March, 2024. Awesome service by the gentleman who served us -- great suggestions in terms of wing flavours (they have a ton!).Wings were awesome; extensive draft & bottled beer selection. Good pricing as well, and a multitude of TVs for when there's a ton of games on (that night had March Madness, NHL, and more -- and all were accomodated). Will be back my next time in Windsor!“
“It was very friendly there. I was with Lonnie Glines Sr, he carved a fish and eagle this year for the chillyfest, he and I were there last year also for the event. I did not come across O'Flaherty's last year. Very enjoyable again this year. Hope to see ya again.“
“Burgers, drinks, n some music last night. These were some of the best burgers we’ve had in a long time, they were cooked to perfection, (no over cooked crummy meat) this was the real deal, I ordered medium rare and it came medium rare. The music was different from the norm and really cool. They have games lining the shelves, we’re coming back just to play Balderdash and have another burger, they even have Drag queen bingo. A very cool fun spot to eat and hangout. The staff was very friendly and worked as a team to make sure we were well taken care of. A new favorite for us.“
“This was really a little hidden gem for us and the food was fantastic I got the Mediterranean pizza ? my friend got a burger ?be warned that the burgers are small very small but everything was delicious and made with excellence and the manager was such a great guy I love the whole place! going “
“Amazing food and service, and great prices whats not to like , especially the chicken wings hands down the best chicken wings in Windsor.period and it's not even up for debate.great breakfast and lunch specials and they use real butter on the toast and lots of it yum, got to try their chicken quesadilla.and oh yeah Jimmy he a very nice guy and heart to talk with about random stuff, speakeasy at Gatsby's!!“
“My husband had the wings. I had Turkey Bacon wrap obviously made with love and special sauce. It melted it my mouth. We didn't order sides this time but still had enough to eat. Atmosphere was warm, welcoming, neighborhood type of place. Although they serve alcohol, feel comfortable to being in your children.we'll be back.“
“The Lumberyard Pub and Grub offers a cozy atmosphere with a rustic touch. The menu features a variety of hearty pub fare, and the quality of the food is commendable. The staff is friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. However, the noise level can be high during peak hours. Overall, a solid choice for those seeking a casual pub environment with good food.“
“Ordered the Greek omelette which came with a side of potatoes the food was cooked to absolute perfection. The potatoes were nice and crispy but nowhere near over done. The wait time to receive your food was very minimal as well therefore adding another positive thing to the overall experience .The waitress was very pleasant and attentive and overall gave great customer service. Can't wait to go back.“
“Been hitting Hot ? Shots for well over 20 years when in the south of Warren at 9 mile & Van Dyke. Always a good time on Friday night for karaoke ? the patrons are easy going and April serving up cold beer ? and cocktails at reasonable prices.“
“Wanted to have a Windsor style pizza (we're from Detroit) before going to the Diana Ross concert. We were a little skeptical when we first arrived (5:00pm) and were the only patrons there. BUT the manager was very welcoming, our server was great and the pizzas were amazing. We ordered 2 Windsor's, 2 Margarites, 1 meat lovers and 1 garlic bread. 6 people devoured all of this ~ they were that good! The beer and wine selection was good too. I'd go back just for that darn delicious garlic bread!!!“
“My husband and I come here with friends on Fridays for the jam night with Rob Sef. Rob is a great musician and very kind and welcoming. He invites anyone and everyone to get up and sing with him and there is no judgment, only support. It's a really fun time. Check out Rob Sef if you can. Thompson house has a great vibe.“
“Shelby was an EXCELLENT bartender. We were there for the Blake Sheldon concert and she single handedly made my experience a night to look back on in the best way. The drinks were perfection and Shelby was not only hilarious but also such a sweetheart. Will be coming back again.“
“The Trolly Room has great food and even better service! My husband and I came to eat here after an event ended and didn’t realize the kitchen closed in 10 minutes. The wait staff was welcoming, helpful, and didn’t try to rush us. My husband and I both ordered the club sandwich with fries and it was delicious! We would definitely visit again!“
“While not a large location, there's plenty of seating available. There is a jukebox available, so music played typically depends on the crowd, and there's a pool table with plenty of room to play. While I'm unsure currently if there's any other games like darts , I did notice there's an ATM onsite - most patrons I noticed paid in cash but they do take credit. The bathroom I saw was clean enough - sanitary, didn't smell like a dumpster and stocked accordingly. Also, while they do serve food, please be aware that the bartender is also the cook - if the location is busy & you're hungry, expect a wait & be kind to staff.Speaking of the bartending, I've only been a few times and Mandy was my bartender both times; she was a delight.Drinks are reasonably priced, bottled drinks were very cold, the few samples of food I tried with a friend were good and the atmosphere was friendly & inviting.“
“Great black owned gem right at the border of Grosse Pointe. Besides the mandatory 20% gratuity on every bill, I can't complain. Best wings and potato skins in town. Very great drinks, mixed perfectly that gives you a great buzz without it being just a strong alcoholic drink. This is my getaway spot when I want to unwind and not be in a overly crowded bar. Great for people 30 and over.“
“I just tried Shenanigans Pub x Eatery in Windsor for the first time. Truly this was a blind review as the food, a delicious, tasty and huge cheeseburger and fries was brought to me from my son. I am not only home bound but bed restricted. I rely on delivery and the quest for delicious food. Wow, was I knocked out happy. I asked my son about this Pub and he explained the menu goodies. For 5 years he has been a customer as he lives near there restaurant. As a disabled mom I want my son to have health enjoyable and great tasting food. Shenanigans has given my son what I can’t no more and I’m grateful. I will be eating more of their lovely food tomorrow.“
“Tasty wings ?, service was a little slow (not a big deal to me as I wasn't in any kind of rush and don't mind a little wait, just a heads up for my impatient people) and atmosphere is good (what you'd expect when you visit sports bar).“
“Our server Ellie was fantastic!!!!! We had the all you can eat crab and she made sure our plates were never empty! She was always checking on us to see if we needed anything and she was always smiling! We couldn't have asked for a better server! The food was delicious as always!!!! Those mushrooms though!!!! We will definitely be back!!!“
“what a blast! visited because i saw on channel 4's tasty tuesday, the music trivia bingo and karaoke was very entertaining!!! the entertainment came in very handy because it was super busy due to the tv plug. my waitress Rebecca was super sweet, and did a wonderful job especially considering it was her first day!!! food was absolutely delicious and worth the wait, my friend got the shrimp n grits-said it was the best she has ever had! i got the half chicken which was cooked perfectly! we also got mac n cheez, garlic mashed potatoes, collard greens, and the chicken wings for an app. everything was so good, we left fat and happy and i will return soon!!!“
“Stopped here randomly as we wanted to get out of the house and try some place new. Has a great low-key vibe and awesome food. Ordered a burger and fries and also the crispy chicken salad. Both were delicious! Love the atmosphere here. Will definitely be back. Also the bartender Sabrina was super nice!“
