“This is my #1 spot in the City of Toledo for Chicken and Waffles! Service is always the best and I love the atmosphere! Parking can be a little tricky just because you need to find a spot on street with meter parking or you can lot park if you prefer. I have never had to park far though.I wish they were open on Saturdays, the business hours from 11-3p during week make it hard for me to get there more often. The only time I make it out there is when I have a day off during the week.“

“We went for our anniversary. Trying a new spot we have been hearing about. Our waiter was super amazing. I got the tune med rare(to share. I suggest seared). And orzo side with tomatoes. They were good and flavors blended. Warning to you. It is a chilled dish so it won't be hot. My fiance got southwestern pasta and mac n cheese. The pasta had good blend of peppers and spices. Creamy dish. The mc n cheese was ny style and was good for.trying it that way“

“The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in Bavaria. We both had wiener schnitzel with a variety of side dishes, which were all delicious. The portions were large, and something that seems rare these days, the prices were under $20 for superior entrees. Then, despite being full, we couldn't resist the Black Forest Cake, which was enough for four. It was under $5 and may have been the best dessert we ever had.“

I asked her to pick my meal, and what she recommended was perfect. It was a dry age NY strip with sautéed mushrooms and a big loaded potato.The restaurant was very cozy and the atmosphere was perfect. If you want romantic dinner, then this is the place.“

“This is a very unique restaurant. The menu is very robust I don't know what to say other than the shrimp, oh my God the shrimp. The shrimp here were better than any seafood place that I can think of. I will come back here just to get the shrimp. Now that I am off of my shrimp boat I will say the nachos were quite tasty the Reuben was also very good. The carrot cake was alright. The restaurant itself is pretty nice however everybody is packed in there pretty good. Will be returning some day.“

We had a party of 3 and were in the mood to “party/celebrate” .. had a wonderful time.So you may not spend as much as we did, but it was worth it.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian dishes.Parking: On street parking at meters free after 6 nearby and paid parking garages as well.“

“The overall vibe of Hannon's Block is immaculate. It has an upscale, eclectic feeling but isn't too formal or overpriced. As first time diners, we came out for a date night and couldn't have made a better choice. Our server, Hope, was the sweetest!! She had great menu recommendations, paid great attention to us, and played a huge part in our experience! She didn't miss a beat with refills or requests. The kitchen was super speedy and our meals were DELICIOUS! All together we ordered a side of king crab, French onion soup, the block burger & the roasted half chicken. The soup!!! Amazing! All of our plates were virtually clean by the time we left! Definitely recommend ending your meal with the salted cookie - save room! It comes to your table warm and is the perfect dessert. I also love a local restaurant that supports other local spots - it was nice to have an ISTF seltzer with my meal! Great work Hannon's Block! Can't wait to come back!“

“It was my first visit here and I have to say, it was the best omelet I've had since 2010. The service was incredible and the prep/food was amazing. My sever brought me everything I needed for my meal without me even having to ask. Very attentive staff that will make you feel right at home. Very affordable and worth every penny. Be sure to stop by here if you are hungry for breakfast or lunch!“

“We went to Sodbusters on a Wednesday evening (7:30) to hear The Chefs of Dixieland, Ragtime Rick Grafing's band. We expected it to be good music, but it was more. It was an experience, not a performance. We were totally immersed. We felt absolutely transported into another era. At one point, the trombonist sauntered through the cafe as he played ---so fun. We only had drinks, and the prices were very reasonable. We had the feeling that a lot of the people there were regulars. We'd rather listen to live local music than go to a big concert. We will definitely do this again.“
