“Here for lunch on a Friday with 2 sons and one of their girlfriends. Oldest son celebrating birthday. They made it feel like a real celebration. I was concerned because I have a seafood allergy and 2 of them wanted to enjoy it. They asked ahead of time and the resteraunt was very accomodating without being obvious about it. No worries !! “It's kept clean and a great place to get some food. I cant wait for the food trucks to come back. Swedes was the one there today. I was excited for it! super nice woman working today. The food was not great though.The Pulled pork is very dry. I had the sandwich and the nachos, and took it home. I only live 8 mins away. The food was cold, no semi warm to it. Their sauces are good though, just doesn't make up for the dry pork.”

There is a fresh salad bar, made to order sandwich bar, pasta bar, fresh pizza daily, and soft serve ice cream, as well as vegetarian/vegan options, a dessert bar, and several choices of balanced, healthy meals daily.”

“Best and most unique ice cream shop in town, although I don't discriminate when it comes to ice cream and will eat it from almost anywhere-- Mom and Pop's is my favorite if I can make it there! I can (and have) go multiple times a week and not get sick of it. Also, the servers are always nice and just cool people.”

“My wife and I and the in-laws stopped to check out ummies after going thru the Kiwanis light show last weekend. Of course right before a maverick hockey game and they were packed. We walked Thru and didn’t find a seat open. Gentleman stoped us and said he had 2 tables going to be ready in 10 minutes. So we waited for them to open up and we all were glad we did. Waitress was awesome and food was even better! Highly recommended! Great job to all the staff at UMMIES!!”

“My newest favorite hotspot! My go to is currently closed and moving across town so we decided to stop in here for our Mediterranean fix and it was extremely excellent! The staff was delightful and fast, the food came out expeditiously, and everything we tried was amazing! Their version of the pita is much different than any other restaurant or what I ate daily while stationed in Turkey but it's incredibly delicious! The hummus, pitas, salad, chicken bacon pita, and the Ode to Athens were all to die for! Going back again today for another lunch date and can't wait!”

On a separate trip we got lo mein and that was tasty as well. The owners are so friendly and gave good suggestions for eating the food at home. Also, the Vietnamese coffee is delicious!!”

“Preordered online, and went in for pick up. Didn’t realize until then that they ran out of a lot of fruit teas and fruit drinks so we could only get strawberry fruit drinks. Beautiful indoor backdrop for pictures! Staff was knowledgeable and kind. If you want to order, only option is a kiosk but doesn’t seem like they can program when they are out of certain things.

Parking: Sitting across campus and other restaurants/eateries (Chipotle, Asian Wok, crumbl cookies), bank, and a liquor store, so it can grt busy!”

“Absolutely amazing! They were very helpful with explaining how things worked. The topping are endless so no crazy charges. everything was clean, and the service was quick. We had 4 people in our party and we all got exactly what we wanted!

Vegetarian options: You are able to build a pizza without any meats. There is a selection of veggie toppings, including peppers, fresh basil, spinach, black olives etc.

Dietary restrictions: Did not directly see any gluten free crust but the workers are very helpful and accommodating.

Parking: There is direct and free parking.

Kid-friendliness: You are able to build your pizza to be exactly what you want. Any picky eaters/ dietary restrictions are easy to accommodate.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are low tables and wide enough isles for a wheelchair to sit, there is direct parking with access with a wheelchair ramp.”

“The quality and variety of food offered is excellent. Food is kept at the appropriate temperatures. The staff is very polite and keep the food and dining areas clean. With this management I have never had a disappointing meal. A nice addition is the variety of sushi offered. I highly recommend this establishment and frequently bring guests to it when in Mankato.”

“Mankato’s Pizza Ranch is the best one and I’ve been in several within 25 miles of here.
The foods buffets are always fresh and the place seems always full when we’re there. Love the salad bar, lettuces always fresh and the add ins are great. Chicken is great and love their green beans!! I’m Type 2 so always glad to see green beans rather than corn. The stuffed pizza is a must with the every thing pizza so good and fresh love our Pizza Ranch!!”

They saw my little dog in the car and offered a "pup cup" - I didn't even know that was a thing. This location is easy off & on to HWY 22 in Mankato - my go to place as I go into or through Mankato.”

Called to verify delivery time, individually packed/labeled each meal, brought two extra small drinks just in case, and then refused a tip! Would HIGHLY recommend this location! “It is great to have it in Mankato. I love the chain. However, it has some limits comparing to the experience I have in other location. Because it is a food court area in the mall, it has limited hours and not an option I picked to get quick lunch. Price is similar to other location but served in plastic bowl with plastic utensils (food court's issue again). Food tastes good and my bowl has a lot of noodles, but the broth is not much and hot enough since the noodles absorb it very fast.”

“I've visited this location several times and had excellent service and food on all occasions. The restaurant is also very clean. Food-wise, my favorites are their mac & cheese and their pad thai. I don't usually get meat added to the pad thai if you wanted to go the meatless route. I noted their was plenty of scrambled egg for protein but you could always add meat (shrimp, chicken, steak, etc) if that suites you. Great lunch spot!”
