“Here for lunch on a Friday with 2 sons and one of their girlfriends. Oldest son celebrating birthday. They made it feel like a real celebration. I was concerned because I have a seafood allergy and 2 of them wanted to enjoy it. They asked ahead of time and the resteraunt was very accomodating without being obvious about it. No worries !! “The negative comments on the Dining Center are pretty old. They have really improved their food! There is a fresh salad bar, made to order sandwich bar, pasta bar, fresh pizza daily, and soft serve ice cream, as well as vegetarian/vegan options, a dessert bar, and several choices of balanced, healthy meals daily.”

“My daughter and I had dinner at Olde Brickhouse in Mankato on July 27th. I had the Brickhouse pasta, which is pasta with chicken, mushrooms and cheese with your choice of the Dijon sauce or maritime sauce. I opted for the maritime sauce. It was delicious and was a large portion! My daughter had a burger that was tender and juicy, but not greasy! The service was awesome and the price was right! I can't wait to go back! Kudos to the chef!!”

We walked Thru and didn’t find a seat open. Gentleman stoped us and said he had 2 tables going to be ready in 10 minutes. So we waited for them to open up and we all were glad we did. “My newest favorite hotspot! My go to is currently closed and moving across town so we decided to stop in here for our Mediterranean fix and it was extremely excellent! The staff was delightful and fast, the food came out expeditiously, and everything we tried was amazing! Their version of the pita is much different than any other restaurant or what I ate daily while stationed in Turkey but it's incredibly delicious! The hummus, pitas, salad, chicken bacon pita, and the Ode to Athens were all to die for! Going back again today for another lunch date and can't wait!”

“Preordered online, and went in for pick up. Didn’t realize until then that they ran out of a lot of fruit teas and fruit drinks so we could only get strawberry fruit drinks. Beautiful indoor backdrop for pictures! Staff was knowledgeable and kind. If you want to order, only option is a kiosk but doesn’t seem like they can program when they are out of certain things.

Parking: Sitting across campus and other restaurants/eateries (Chipotle, Asian Wok, crumbl cookies), bank, and a liquor store, so it can grt busy!”

“I've had many pizzas all over the 47 contiguous States excluding Maine only. Some good pizzas but only "one" great pizza. Pagliais! It was/is always going to be the family first when back in Minnesota and would definitely, without a seconds hesitation drive from the cities and farther for the only best, great, greatest pizza I've ever eaten. You are the best around.”

“Loved this place! I went with my husband and baby. We ended up taking our food to go but the pho was amazing along with the spring rolls (dipping sauce is so good). On a separate trip we got lo mein and that was tasty as well. The owners are so friendly and gave good suggestions for eating the food at home. Also, the Vietnamese coffee is delicious!!”

“The quality and variety of food offered is excellent. Food is kept at the appropriate temperatures. The staff is very polite and keep the food and dining areas clean. With this management I have never had a disappointing meal. A nice addition is the variety of sushi offered. I highly recommend this establishment and frequently bring guests to it when in Mankato.”

“Very disappointed with the cold tacos, half filled chilitos, and sloppy tostada. They even left the burned cheese and old chips from the grill in the wrapper of two of my chilitos. upped the price and down graded the service. Sad.”

“My husband, sister & myself went to Happy Chef for the 1st time. My husband & I are gluten free by choice. Their Gluten-free pancakes are AMAZING! Definitely worth a try! “We enjoy going in for a Bloody Mary on a Saturday or Sunday. We have highly recommended that they get better Appetizers , what they call Sharables but they haven't. They took the pretzel off the menu and they shoyld not have. They don't have any deep fried mushrooms, broccoli or cauliflower. So if you are wanting appetizers then I dont recommend going there. Their juicy Lucy's are very good and so is there French dip. They have a chicken bourbon salad that is amazing. We have only sat a table once and thr service was not as good as at the bar. its fun to watch people play pickle ball. its nice that they have popcorn to snack on. They don't play the music loud, which is something we really like.”

One recommendation: the "honey siracha" sauce option for their wings should not be 3rd from the "on fire" in the Legendary Wings section. The honey siracha sauce is very very mild, and not spicy at all.

“It is great to have it in Mankato. I love the chain. However, it has some limits comparing to the experience I have in other location. Because it is a food court area in the mall, it has limited hours and not an option I picked to get quick lunch. Price is similar to other location but served in plastic bowl with plastic utensils (food court's issue again). Food tastes good and my bowl has a lot of noodles, but the broth is not much and hot enough since the noodles absorb it very fast.”

“Wonderful experience! We placed a large catering order with individual meals/drinks for each member of our party. The Stadium Village staff was great! Called to verify delivery time, individually packed/labeled each meal, brought two extra small drinks just in case, and then refused a tip! Would HIGHLY recommend this location! “Docks are on backside of building, inside the building. Nice red rope lights to show you where to back into. Good people, got in trailer right away. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Porta potty inside dock area. Bolt cutters inside if you need them to cut seal. Great experience!”

“This 'Johns is always impeccably obsessively clean. Whole thing looks brand new. They have the local papers to read while you eat and one TV going (just enough to stare at but not overwhelming like a sports bar). Staff are perfectly professional yet down-home friendly and polite. Perfect customer service attitude for rural Minnesota. Food is fresh and prompt, made how I asked. And the potato oles are super crispy!

My only complaint is out of their control: the seats are hard!”

“First, no matter what happens the rest of the night, this place gets a five out of five from me. I am totally blind, and took Lyft down here on a Sunday evening. I am in fact sitting here right now. The lift driver dropped me off in what seemed like the middle of a parking lot, but told me the door was straight ahead. I wind up wandering into some sort of parking garage… On a whim, I called the bar to see if they might know where I might be at… Two people came out looking for me. Aiden and Mika. First class individuals. Micah eventually found me and she guided me back to the bar. Food is always good here. Drinks are two for one until 11 PM… Service is always wonderful, but tonight, they truly went above and beyond. I don’t care what anyone else says about the place… These guys are awesome in my book. Especially if you are a disabled person coming in on your own.”
