“I love gulf shores restaurants. The one in edwardsville had some problems with the turnover on cooks so stopped going. This one had good food I recommend the crab cakes. I got the mixed grill it wasn't very hot but we had 10 people in our group.“

“The food was delicious and cooked correctly. Portion size was good. The salads were outstanding for size, somehow the Parmesan cheese had a flat taste as well as the dressing. The mushrooms and flounder could use a little more substance in the filling. The biscuits aren't quite what they used to be. On the plus side, we enjoyed lobster, crab, shrimp and steak in our dining party. The waitress did a great job! They had an area of the restaurant closed, in spite of having to wait 45 minutes, leading to the possibility of understaffing on a Friday night during Lent! There was no bartender when we arrived. The seating seemed personal, not too much noise interference from other tables.Parking: Even for a Friday night during Lent, there was ample parking not to far from the front door.Kid-friendliness: At a table near us, they provided plastic drinking glasses with lids and straws.“
“The order was incorrect but the food was hot, fresh and good. The interior hasn't been updated in a long time and it is starting to show it's age. Time for a remodel. The green beans as served didn't have much at all. We were near closing time and it looked as if we got what was left in the pot. They didn't have a tarter dispenser and offered packets which is a nogo for us, so had to eat everything plain. This all might be due to being near closing time so I would recommend visiting well before closing. The server was nice.“
“I ordered 4 meatloaf lunch specials today, let me tell you, these portions are huge! I am partial to my Momma's meatloaf but, this was absolutely amazing! Mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, and the best green beans that I have ever had! Amazing prices, amazing food, and the best Strawberry-Rhubarb pie that I have ever had! There isn't any better out there! Amazing experience!“

“We had an amazing dinner tonight at YaYa’s! The sea scallops were exquisite and are the best we’ve had in St. Louis. The salmon salad and gnocchi were delectable, as were the cocktails. The icing on the cake was being served by the one and only, Andy Samberg!! I can’t believe he works here! The service was amazing as was his comedic nature! Everything about this place was top notch.!! We absolutely will be back! BEST.NIGHT. EVER!! ☺️“
“First time here. We had the catfish and shrimp combo. We also had the gumbo fries and jerk chicken fries with the soft shell crab sandwich. The food was great. The guy taking our order was very helpful and had great recommendations. Would definitely recommend.“
“Food and service were excellent, lobster and striped bass entrees. Crab cakes are the best in the area, all crab. Unless you are large, you may wish to avoid the two person booth. The table is pretty far from you and you'll end up on the edge of the seat trying to reach your plate.“

“We ate here tonight for the first time as we were in the area. One of the workers saw me with my mobility scooter as I am currently disabled. He waited holding the door for several minutes to make sure that I was able to get inside. Then he helped me by carrying menus to the first open table. He repeatedly checked on us to make sure that I didn't need anything and didn't have to get up. The other worker in the area was constantly cleaning and making sure that everyone had everything they needed. I have been in very expensive restaurants where I haven't gotten near the quality of service as I did here at a counter service restaurant. But not only was the service great, the food was delicious. The catfish was some of the best I have ever had and their tartar sauce was delicious. We also shared a shrimp po' boy and chicken and shrimp with an appetizer of fried pickles for the table. While everything else was very good, the catfish was the shining star of the meal. We live far away, otherwise this would be a frequently visited restaurant for us. Highly recommend.“
