“I had heard that the mermaid cafe was a nice little restaurant for the Lake Caroline neighborhood where you could get a nice hamburger. I was pleasantly surprised at my culinary experience. I had some of the best red fish that I have ever had and my friend said the same about the fillet. The only thing that exceeded the food was the courtesy from the staff. Highly recommend it”

“Wes and I visit Georgia Blue often. Our doctor’s offices are right by it so it’s convenient for us. We’ve met some special friends there throughout the years. We’ve had just about everything on the menu. Our favorites are Wings, Duck Wontons, Nachos, Turnip Green Bites, fried pickles with sweet chili and blue cheese for dipping(blue cheese for everything lol), crab claws, dynamite shrimp, fried crawfish tails, chicken tenders, the house salad with Jenn’s Vin, the burgers and many more. The service is always great and the cocktails are wonderful. The shrimp tacos are one of our favorites. They’re spicy but so good(pictured).”

The Crab Boat Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and the comforting aroma of freshly prepared seafood. The atmosphere perfectly blends coastal charm with a relaxed, inviting vibe—ideal for a casual dinner, date night, or a special celebration.

The star of the show, of course, is the crab. Every dish we tried was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The crab legs were sweet and tender, the crab cakes were packed with flavor and not filler, and the garlic-butter dipping sauce was heavenly. Even the sides—from the crispy fries to the buttery corn—were impressively delicious.

Service was exceptional as well. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations without ever being intrusive.

If you’re a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit. The quality is top-tier, the portions are generous, and the experience is worth every penny. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit!

“I ordered 2 baked potatoes today 3/25 when the young lady suggested that I wait just a couple of more minutes so the potatoes would soften more, just enough to soak in all the flavors. Well!! it was worth the minutes. My order was delicious and hot. The two ladies there today were very friendly and pleasant. Reminding me of back home in Dallas TX. “We love visiting this location. It’s the closest to us, which is 1.5 hours away. The location and area is quiet, safe, clean and pleasant. Staff is pretty friendly. We are always in and out within minutes; we usually order as we are almost there. The desserts are always great, only had an issue once after dozens of visits. They fixed it. Totally recommend this location.”

“We ate at Sal & Mookie’s in Madison Friday afternoon. The food was fantastic and the service was the best. Laura kept our drinks full. She was wonderful. We tried a bit of everything, all fantastic. My husband said it was the best restaurant food he’d ever had. The pizza was outstanding. Crawfish corn bisque was wonderful. We were there for quite a while and during that time no one rushed us. We were a party of ten. I have to give them a five star review, because they earned it!!”

“If you’re after real coffee and not a 1800 calorie frozen mocha choca frappe latte with Oreos on top from Starbucks, then this is it. First time going and the price on a latte is about 30% cheaper than other coffee in the area and 3x better. Multiple bean flavors - Super clean - Super quiet - great looking interior - and great service! I will absolutely be back to sit down and work, while enjoying some great coffee.”

The presentation was beautiful and Jae & Chef Nick were kind, efficient, professional, and so very easy to work with through the entire planning process and execution of the event. My fiance enjoyed his salad from the neat and tidy salad bar, my off-menu request of the Spud a'broc was honored and it tasted rich and comforting. My little boy loved the ice cream and the guys restocking the supplies at the drink station were so nice to him. Ladies restroom was clean with no paper on the floors and all supplies stocked. Finally, I was impressed with the young staff hustling around, getting things clean and making sure the place looked good.”

“I love getting the Go Colada bowl and the COCO Colada bowl. It’s pricy but good! For the past few days this location has had a note to “come in to be serviced. Drive thru is down.” Huh? I need this drive thru. I have an over active three year old. It’s too much buckling her down and up again from her car seat. Please fix it!”

“I love all the ladies that are in there they are extremely nice and very helpful. Today was the only day were I felt like my business wasn’t wanted. There was an older lady in there that I have only seen a couple times but not often and when I said my order she rolled her eyes and sorta came off with an attitude like I bothered her by coming in but as soon as someone else came in she seemed super helpful. The younger girl in there tho was really sweet and had a great attitude. I normally don’t have a problem with this tea place so I will go back and hopefully next time I have a better experience.”

“Have always enjoyed Raising Cane’s in other cities. This one did not disappoint in good or service.The chicken tenders are well battered and not greasy. Usually get the 4 piece combo and split it with my wife. Sizes of the chicken tenders are variable and described as medium sized. Crinkle cut fries are enjoyable. Slaw is ok. Texas toast is ok. Drinks are self refilled. Bathrooms are clean. Quite noisy with plenty of youngsters present. Overall a good experience as expected.”
