If you're vegan or vegetarian, definitely get the vegetarian platter and do NOT skip on the tempeh tibs. If you're worried about parking, there is a deck and lot on the same block, right on Coxe Avenue. To say that I was shocked to know that Asheville has an Ethiopian restaurant would be an understatement. After driving from ATL to Asheville, NC from my winter road trip, my friend and I were hungry.So before we headed out to our secluded Airbnb in the Blue Ridge Mountains, we stopped here. We planned to get here early on a Thursday and it worked out perfectly. Plenty of parking. No line. We were the first ones in. Very friendly employees. We had beef tibs, meat platter, and vegetarian platter. We thought the platters would be community plates, but they are individual plates. They do provide utensils, but you can eat with your hands.
