“Definitely one of my favorite places with the best tacos! But also my four-year-old loves it because it’s a place where he can get up and dance and not feel like he’s acting out because the atmosphere is just so perfect for truly any kind of person/family. We love them, and even tho it’s a good 40-45min drive one way, we go as much as possible!“
“I had heard that Yunta was good so we decided to give it try. It wasn’t good it was AMAZING!! The service, the food, the drinks everything was an explosion of carefully curated flavors in your mouth. The edamames were my favorite ❤️ prepare to be wowed! We Will definitely be back“
“Lunch date with my daughters and some friends. First time visiting this restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. We tried several dishes. Lomo saltado, chaufa rice, salad , sandwich de pollo and Cuban fried rice. Every dish was delicious. We will definitely return soon !“
“One of my go to rooftop bars in Charlotte. I love the diversity of the chairs. You got bar seats, sectionals, those big egg lookin rattans. Is rattan a word? Idk, feels right. Drinks are great, service is great, views are great. I dinged a star cause one time they wouldn’t let me and a friend sit at the bar when we really really wanted to sit at the bar. Shout out to JP, Scott, Jared, James, Sean and all the lovely ladies whose names aren’t on this list.“
“It was exhilarating and the experience of fine dinning was incredible. Management and staff was very professional. This was my first time dining there for my birthday, and I highly recommend everyone to go and experience the fine dinning for themselves !!“
“This is a GREAT arcade. They use tokens, only 2 tokens (0.50) per game. Lots of fun imported games, plus rarer pinball machines including Labyrinth, The Big Lebowski and Pulp Fiction. Plus a GIANT Game Boy that is a MUST see! Only drawback: Limited parking. Be prepared to walk a block or so if you get there during busy times.“
“It's such a beautiful place! From the time we walked in the door, we saw this beautiful chandelier. Immediately, we were greeted and taken to our seat. The customer service was top tier, and our waitress was amazing. She answered all of our questions and a patient as we talked about 20 minis before we were ready to order. I had the HEAVENLY CRÊPE and it was lovely. Airy ,flavorful and filling, added a little extra salt, but that's because I enforce the taste of salt. The salad dressing was delightful. The way she explained them, I ordered 3! I can't remember the names, but 2 out of the 3 hit the spot.“
“One of my go to cocktail bars in Charlotte! Every Monday night they have $1 oysters, which is one of the best food deals in the city, and pairs well with their freezer variation of a Martini (easily my favorite in the city).Their cocktail menu consist largely of classics and riffs on classics, of which the Bourbon based Mai Tai and Ube Colada are some of my current favorites. Bar staff is pleasant and highly knowledgeable, and can create “bartenders call” cocktails if you’re feeling adventurous! One of the definite spots for cocktails in the Queen City!“
“I come with a unique perspective since I was here for a generous work dinner, where the host literally ordered everything on the menu ($315). Since we weren't sure what we were getting, we didn't pace ourselves well and were completely stuffed such that we couldn't adequately finish. I did my service by trying a little bit of everything. While everything was tasty, space was open and flexible for both smaller and larger parties (we had a larger party upstairs), here's my ranking, starting from my faves: - deep fried pickles - scallops with corn - Mac n cheese - short ribs - pork belly - broccolini - string beans Service was just ok, not overly impressive - fried cauliflower“
“Hello Yelpies What's in store for you at this awesome establishment is great service and food with professionally poured adult beverages that will relax your day in a super chill environment.. but wait I can't forget to add the amazing staff that are as working the tables and making sure everyone was completely satisfied with the meals and topping off the beverages. Can't wait to come back to this place during my travels“
“Amazing drinks, first tasted one of their Blender series at a local bottle shop and could not stop talking about it. Found out this was not too far from me and took my best friend with me. I tried a few beers, the food truck sadly was closed when we went but they were very accommodating with us getting outside food. Seems they have some events that happen regularly, including a cycling group. The bartender was informative and had no problems answering specific questions. Even let me know which beers were vegan for me to take some home to my wife. Amazing selections.“
“Multilevel restaurant tucked in BOA! We sat near the open kitchen and it was great. You could see the items being made and the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. It's dimly lit, so it gives warm and cozy vibes. We I didn't know it was an a-la-cart menu till we got there. So check the full menu when before you go! There's not a huge California wine selection; it's more international with France/Italy/Argentina leading the way. I kept it simple with a smooth Rosé (Faísom) from France. We had the Potato Gnocchi with Braised Beef in a tomato sauce. Thie didn't need sides. It came as a whole meal unto itself. The Gnocchi were tender and not gummy, the meat robust as it was Sous vide. The herb marinated shrimp, Calabrian Chili Butter, was delectable. The pan-fried corn had a nice crisp bite, well seasoned and buttery. I didn't care gor the Brussels Sprouts. I was hoping they were good as it was they're halved/grilled and loaded with Bacon, Cashews, Provolone, and a Sherry Vinegar. They feel flat. They needed a sauce or drizzle of balsamic and seasoning. Now, the Mac-n-Cheese was hitting. They add goat milk, which elevated the flavor. It does provide a slight tang. I would have never thought to add that. There's a traditional cheese crust and absolutely no breadcrumbs ( Thanks). We rounded it off with the Spiced cheesecake with praline topping and fresh whipped cream. It was a delectable and delicious dinner with great service“
“We stopped by Catalina for happy hour today and I have to say that Catalina is comfortable, beautiful, spotless and the food is good. Thomas, the bartender, was the star of our personal celebration. We sat at the large circular bar which is well stocked and reasonably priced. We tried several of the happy hour small plates (all under $10 and very tasty), and we enjoyed a couple of cocktails while Thomas furthered our education about bourbons, whiskeys and ryes. Highly recommend!“
“The barista Morgan was incredibly friendly and personable as I waiting to receive my drink and we had such an amazing conversation good luck to their creative ambitions in life. The drink, service, atmosphere, live music, was fantastic and I definitely will be back “
“Must try taco place in Charlotte!!! We got the corn ribs and trio to start. Both SOOO good, fresh and so flavorful! I got two vegetarian tacos and my bf got taquitos. Mexican is our go to cuisine and the first thing I said was that the tacos were hands down the best vegetarian tacos I’ve had in Charlotte. He loves the taquitos as well. Everyone that worked there is so nice, friendly, and helpful. Also they have a great patio outside! If you’re looking for you new favorite Mexican spot- go here!“
“Great local restaurant and consistently one of our favorites! Diverse menu with multiple healthy options and things that can modified as needed. Superior quality of all food items coupled with exceptional service - all very consistent!!! We had the crab cakes, side of collard greens, salmon on lentils/kale, and a side of roasted butternut squash with brussel sprouts - each dish perfectly cooked, excellent flavors.“
“This place is AMAZING! Theres swings outside, everyone was friendly, a slide, great drinks. The ski ball was free, duck-pin bowling was relatively cheap (I believe $10?) and lots of open games. Pinball was $1 per game. Despite a lot of people, we were able to go through the place comfortably. Great place to get a drink and hangout, was a TON of fun!!!Parking: Parking on side of building. Unsure if theres a lot of parking, but a good amount of spots.“
“Had dinner and drinks with some girlfriends here. Had the most kind and generous service by our server Nathan. He even went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and gave us recommendations to his favorite spots in town. Will absolutely request Nathan in the future. Food and wine was incredible as well as the service. Thank you!!!“
“First time at Bad Daddy’s, I was pleasantly surprised how good my spicy chicken burger was. It was a perfect blend of well cooked fried chicken with some spice and sweetness. The burger needed nothing else except I had to ask for some avocado because it did not have enough. The appetizer we chose was the poblano pepper strips with the spicy aioli (which was so flavorful). My daughter ordered the groomed cheese which we will not be ordering again. There was hardly cheese and the card too thick with no Mayo or anything to make moist and the broccoli had no seasoning!! My husband ordered a burger with lots of meat and he truly enjoyed but he did ask for the spicy aioli because it was a bit dry although cooked medium well. The place is busy but my complaint I’d that the tables are way too close to each other and the waiter had to be called over to our table because we did not see her in a while. I will say I can appreciate the ability of being able to order a side salad and customize it.“
“The food and drinks are reasonably priced. Food tastes really good and big portions. Very clean and spacious inside. The service was a bit slow after the food arrived, however we did come at a peak time. A manager was attentive and quickly got us what we needed.“
“Love Kid Cashew! It’s a go-to for girls’ night (especially during the week when they have 1/2 price bottles of wine on Tuesdays or $6 margaritas on Wednesdays).Their Spreads Trio is the perfect starter. The Wood-Fire Grilled Spanish Octopus has amazing flavor! The Cast Iron Mac & 5-Cheeses is out of this world. The Garden Green Salad is perfect, especially when paired with the Half Rotisserie Chicken.Definitely recommend!“
“My sister and I had an amazing meal here. We really enjoyed our time here and our meal here from our yummy food to our really good drinks. The space and environment is really nice also. Overall this is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Charlotte. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.“
“Our favorite bottle shop in Charlotte for many reasons. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, the beer selection is vast and can find some great bargain beers on the bottom shelf, the plants create a cozy atmosphere, and can't forget about the pups!“
“The customer service is top notch! My husband was visiting the restaurant from out of state with a large group for a sales meeting and I asked the manager if they could bring him a piece of bday cake and the service team pulled it off! It was awesome that they could made it happen, all while taking care of a huge group! Thank y’all for going above and beyond!“
“If you enjoy terrific cocktails, fantastic service and a chill ambiance this is your spot. My wife and I attended their Krampus event that is held during December. We arrived and were seated at the bar for the ticketed event. Their policy is to allow only the number of guests in the bar who can be seated. This leads to the experience that we enjoyed immensely. Ashley was our bartender and provided us with the perfect mix of cocktail knowledge and conversation without being "over bearing". Overall the place is a ten. Nothing was left to chance and customer experience was flawless. Will be back!“
“I was looking for a different menu and came upon Eddie’s Place on DoorDash. I couldn’t make up my mind so I chose a hot dog AND the shrimp and grits with ham OMW they were so good! The hot dog has to wait. So many shrimp and a lot of ham and those creamy cheddar grits ever! The portion size was large so I have breakfast for tomorrow! I’ll definitely order again. Wish they were on DashPass but oh well...“
“Probably the best dive bar in Charlotte. Depending on the night you’ll find an eclectic mix of bikes and people there. Is it Carrabba’s, no, that’s what is great about it. It’s a gritty place with a wholesome atmosphere, Cheers meets Hee Haw.“
“I really love the wall art and the seating. Very authentic and beautiful. The black ramen was my fav, I added fish cakes and chicken, the chicken is to die for omg. The broth is splendid and I love the portions in the ramen, especially the bean sprouts since I'm a big fan of those. The chopsticks are great quality and the sake I had was super oishii. My partner had white ramen and it was also really good. The pork belly literally melts in your mouth its so delicious. We spent about 70+tip, had 1 white, 1 black, a Kani (crab) salad, added chicken and fish cakes, and a bottle of sake which was like 22. I really loved the crab salad, it was honestly spicier than I expected and I loved it.“
“One of the coolest bars I've ever been too. Mechanical pin bowling, free arcade games, sports games (including UFC PPV), a giant slide with a bar at the top of the slide, swings, outdoor beer pong with trashcan and kickball. They got it all.“
“Our reservations were for 3pm Easter Sunday... We like mid afternoon and the three of us enjoyed our meal and experience. We chose the salmon and crab stuffed halibut with chopped salads. Yum!! It wasn't too busy so the noise and meal experience was very nice! We will be back!!“
“Wonderful service. This restaurant isn’t my type and i ended up not liking what I originally ordered(not because something was wrong with it, i just didn’t like it) and regardless of that the waiters and manager still made sure I ordered something else that I’d enjoy. It’s hard for me to know what to order here since it’s not my style. The order i replaced it with was delicious. The bison burger is the bomb. There doesn’t seem to be a niche with the menu though and that was another thing i struggled with. The options to me were quite random, but that’s another reason i had a hard time knowing what to order. My only feedback is to niche the menu so it makes more sense and speaks to a specific target audience. For example, I didn’t understand why there was one random Indian dish when the rest of the entrees aren’t Indian or Asian dishes.“
“Buzz City used to be the old Roudines. So I was pleasantly surprised with the decor. Owner was very friendly.Music was nice the parm wings and burger I got were absolutely delicious!Bar was decently stocked but no Hendrix was available maybe next time..I will definitely go back..“
“1st time there thru someone's advice. Place is very neat. For a Fri nite, place wasn't full however everyone seemed nice. Multiple tvs for sport's & they have a good DJ. The only thing that threw me for a loop was at 10 pm, two very big armed guards came in to keep the peace. There's a reason for this, and i dont need to find out. I like the place, and it could be the owners are just being cautious, but im out.“
“The Horseshoe is a gem hidden! They've got it all – screens everywhere, quick service, and food and drinks that hit the spot. The food is really upscale bar food. I got the chicken Alfredo and my wife got lemon pepper wings with well seasoned fries. I have become a regular here and every time I try something new they never disappoint me.Vegetarian options: beyond burger offered“
“I’ve been wanting to try Cypress Drinkery in Charlotte, North Carolina for so long and finally got there. It was better than I imagined. Just a chill local bar with a bottle shop. The bartender was amazing. She was very friendly and had fast service. The prices were reasonable and loved the space too. Will definitely go back.“
“Traveling for vacation and we stopped here because we have never tried it before. John was our server and he was phenomenal! The chef came out with an appetizer because we had never been here. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing! Would recommend!“
“Well above my expectations! I was actually on my way to another Brazilian steakhouse and then this popped up on my Marriott bonvoy app. The concept same kind of cool with a Brazilian style sports bar so I decided to check it out. The plate that I had was really good and they have 34 Oz size beers available. Very lively when I walked in as there was a band playing which I found surprising for that time of day as it was only about 5:00 p.m. they were towards the end of their set so they had to have gotten there earlier. Guy behind the bar did take care of me but seem to be preoccupied with other things going on. Wasn't a big deal but I did have to wait a little to pay my tab and order my food. It was worth the wait though and is somewhere I will be back again!“
“Me and my girlfriend came here last night just looking for a place with good food and beer. This place absolutely nailed it. The burgers are completely as advertised. The Playlist they had on was a vibe and bartender Zoey and the other gentleman took care of everything we asked for. I think we found our new brew and bites place in uptown. Thanks y'all!“
“Legion Plaza is always top-tier for us and is definitely one of our favorite spots in the area! We hosted a baby shower on the mezzanine area this past weekend that turned out wonderful. The staff was helpful and attentive as always, the event coordinator was knowledgeable and accommodating, the food was delicious and presented beautifully, and the space is perfect for a more intimate setting of 30ish people. 10/10“
“Tipsy Burro has really good Tex-Mex food, but it is not a place to stop for quick bite to eat.First, the complaints about service: We visited Tipsy Burro on a Friday night at around 5pm because we had a 6pm appointment less than a mile away. Seems like a reasonable ask, to order food and eat within about an hour. But it was not to be, as we had to rush our way out of Tipsy Burro. Our 12 year-old ordered an appetizer and meal at the same time. The appetizer arrived in good time. After 10 minutes, my wife and I ordered our meals. But I did I have to go up to the bar to request a waiter after about 10 minutes because no one came to check on us. My wife and kid's platters arrived at the same time (a decent time after our appetizer arrived). My meal still took another 10 minutes to arrive after that (basically, my kid was done eating before my food arrived). The staff apologized for the delay in my food, which I appreciated, but I only ordered a salad, so I didn't understand the hold up. We asked for the bill when food arrived, and we did receive it in timely fashion. Unfortunately, my wife had to flag down someone on the staff to pay our bill because after several minutes, no one came to check on us. She literally stood in the middle of the dining floor trying to get someone's attention for several minutes before someone took her credit card. This might not have been a major issue for us if we didn't have something scheduled up the road. But we did and we tried to make it clear and it didn't seem to matter. All that being said, let's get to second: the praise about the food! Holy moly is this place tasty. Our 12 year-old is a very slow eater. But their rice & bean tacos were so tasty that they finished eating before my food arrived. We have never seen that before. Technically our kid ordered a guacamole taco, but there was no guacamole on it. We didn't get charged extra, so no harm, no foul. I ordered a spinach salad and I chose the soy crumbles as the protein. The salad was wonderful! Spinach was fresh. Orange slices were peeled perfectly with no pith or bitterness. The bacon pieces were a great surprise, as they were unexpected by me and also cooked ideally (not too crispy). The avocado ranch dressing I got on the side was really tasty and wonderful for dipping crumbles into. I cannot say enough good things about this salad! My wife loved her meal as well, although I can't remember what she got because I was so focused on my delicious plate in front of me. I know she had something with refried beans while our kid's tacos came with black beans. Both of them were happy with their bean choices. As far as atmosphere is considered, the restaurant and bar are decorated pretty kitschy. Such an eclectic collection of posters and antique signage and Simpsons toys. All three of us couldn't stop looking at all the unique sights. One of our favorite things was watching the TV at the bar - they were playing old 1970's episodes of the Gong Show. The only downside was what was on our table - a lack of napkins (which were eventually delivered to us as a roll of paper towels, but only after us asking) and silverware (which were disappointedly delivered as plasticware when our food arrived). The food was amazing and felt authentic and we will be back to this place, even with our challenging service experience. That's how good the meal was.Vegetarian options: They didn't seem to have a kid's menu, but our 12 year-old pescatarian found plenty on the menu to choose from.Parking: The parking lot is huge and is only for Tipsy Burro - you shouldn't have any issues parking.Kid-friendliness: They didn't seem to have a kid's menu, but our 12 year-old pescatarian found plenty on the menu to choose from.“
“I cannot say enough good things about Rachel and Black Moth Bars. Her passion for her craft and local ingredients made choosing which cocktails to serve at the wedding a DELICIOUS challenge. Our tasting was so fun, and literally every drink screamed “us”! Our wedding guests loved all our choices, but we seriously couldn’t have gone wrong. Rachel made purchasing the alcohol easy, and gave us great recommendations. The trailer is just as cute and classy as the cocktails, which is saying something! Not to mention she’s just such a delight to have bartending your wedding, so friendly and funny, everyone loved her!“
“I had my birthday party at Canopy Cocktails and Garden, and it was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The event planning staff was super accommodating, the food was amazing, and the overall service was great!!! I highly recommended this place for your next party! Book it… you won’t be disappointed!“
“This place where I was is not a Evening Muse. Although, the place beside it is where I went, called The Old News Vintage. It's actually a amazing vintage store,. You can get vintage clothes, hat's, name brands like Carhartt, Levi's, Adidas, etc. With the nicest, most polite, 2 gentleman there, that will help you find what you possibly need or looking for, that I have ever meet. I believe their the owners. Very helpful. I got me some Carhartt pants, & my husband got him a Star Wars hat. And he doesn't even wear hats. Anyway, Check it out when you're near, It's AWESOME ??... Good stuff, with great prices...“
“The bar was purchased by new owners last year and things have improved dramatically! I always have a great experience with the bartenders, especially Jesse, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The old setup was uncomfortable and dirty, but now the dance floor and stage area have been redone, and opened up, and a new main bar installed. The bathrooms were expanded and rebuilt, and a new lounge area created on the side of the dance floor. Honestly other than the name, little of the former club still exists inside. They also started having regular theme and event nights, and the new owners have been good about posting their themes and events on Instagram and their website, so you can find out in advance.“
“I recently celebrated my birthday at Spice Charlotte Restaurant, and I had an incredible time! The restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way and made my birthday celebration truly memorable. The ambiance of the restaurant was amazing. The interior design was stylish and modern, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The lighting was perfect, creating a cozy and intimate setting for my special occasion. The staff at Spice Charlotte Restaurant were extremely attentive and friendly. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The waitstaff went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was top-notch. The food at Spice Charlotte Restaurant was absolutely delicious. The menu offered a wide range of options, with something to please everyone's palate. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I particularly loved the creative blend of spices and ingredients used in their dishes, which added an exciting twist to traditional flavors. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation of our meals. The plating was elegant and artistic, making each dish a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. Overall, my experience at Spice Charlotte Restaurant was a delightful one. The combination of exceptional service, cozy ambiance, and mouthwatering food made it the perfect choice for my birthday celebration. I would highly recommend Spice Charlotte Restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!“
“I really want to love this place but the breakfast menu is just not good. The sandwich is a 2/10, soggy and tasteless. Ordered a side of turkey sausage and they give you one and a half (yes half) super small pieces for $4. They need to scrap the entire menu and get inspired, have some pride in what you put out the pickup window! Hire me as a consultant to show you how to make a bomb breakfast burrito. Do something! The atmosphere is fun and the location is A+. Extra star for big buck HD.Edit: Tacked on another star for the reply, thanks“
“Ladies, gentlemen, and all connoisseurs of hunger, prepare for lift-off as we journey to the Comet Grill, a celestial body in the culinary universe of Dilworth, Charlotte, NC. Nestled in the cosmic expanse of the Food Lion shopping plaza, finding a parking spot here is easier than spotting a UFO on a clear night!Let's talk menu - a constellation of sandwiches, burgers, salads, and bar snacks, all crafted with interstellar skill. They say everything is made in-house, from sauces to hand-formed patties, and I believe it! They even cut their French fries and chips by hand – probably while juggling planets or something. Vegetarians, fear not! With offerings like house-made veggie chili and black bean burgers, you won't be left in the asteroid belt. For 27 light-years (or human years, rather), Comet Grill has been serving the Charlotte community with a side of cosmic charm. They're open until 2am every day, because in space, no one cares about bedtime. And get this – live music five nights a week! But beware, earthlings: after 8PM, it's a 21+ space station. The place buzzes like a busy satellite later in the evening, and there's even an outdoor patio with heaters for when you're feeling a bit like Pluto.A full bar orbits the scene, with bottled and tapped beers, and the day's soundtrack was 'Sympathy for the Devil' by The Rolling Stones. How fitting, as this place is devilishly good!Let's talk about the cosmic commanders: Alicia and her daughter, Cora. Alicia, the bartender-cum-waitress, is so friendly she might be from Venus. She sat with me, shared stories of the restaurant's history, and knew her regulars’ orders by heart – probably telepathy. I didn't meet Cora, but I hear she mixes cocktails like she's stirring the Milky Way.Now, the All American Cheeseburger – a meteoric masterpiece. Served medium-ish with a galaxy of hand-cut fries (slightly over-salted like a Martian margarita, but hey, we're not complaining), the burger was a celestial delight. American cheese draped over it like the rings of Saturn, all nestled in a perfectly toasted bun. At $12 (only $8 on Saturn...I mean, Saturday), it's a steal! In conclusion, if you're star-hopping through Charlotte and hunger strikes, Comet Grill is your galactic gateway. Great food, stellar people, and a vibe that’s out of this world – it's no wonder there's a steady stream of earthlings even on a Monday at 4pm. I'll definitely be back, if not for the intergalactic company, then surely for another round with that burger. Houston, we have no problems here!“
“The drinks were amazing! They've got a decent selection of mocktails too. The service was good, however, it did feel like our waitress was bothered by us despite needing minimal help over the evening. I would've liked to see more variety in the small plates. The food we had was delicious. I absolutely hated the fact that they put the spicy crab on top of these pebbles in a dark restaurant. They looked like legumes because it was dark and half the table accidentally chewed on rocks.“
“We stayed at the grand bohemian for a night and checked out the Búho bar. It located on the 16th floor and provides views of the city skyline. It had indoor and outdoor seating. Had a couple of drinks prepared by our bartender, Trey. Cocktails were delicious.“
“I’ve heard about Anju through some people that I follow on social media. They have only posted amazing picture and said great things about this place and I can confirm they’re on point with what they say. Charlotte needs a restaurant like Anju, bringing diversity, something new and executing delicious food and welcoming service! I treated myself to a solo dinner and it was exactly what I needed. David, my bartender, guided me through the menu with both food and beverages. We made great conversation and it was just a great experience overall. Anyone who enjoys good food and something new should definitely take the opportunity to come here!“
