He had great knowledge of the menu and that also had a lot to do with staff training from the leadership, plus he has been in the hospitality industry for years. Now the food…the Tuna crudo was OUT OF THIS WORLD! It was our favorite dish…other than the raw oysters. Those were fabulous too. The fries weren’t our thing, but they were bad. The mushroom toast was quite tasty. The cocktail was perfect…I had a Last Word. My husband loved the wine, and what was so great was the serving choices. You could choose a 3 ounce or a 6 ounce pour, and that’s a great option when aren’t sure exactly what wine will go with a certain dish. I highly recommend dining here!“

Kind of oaky in a way.The menu was on a tablet, which I thought was pretty cool. They had their own creations, but put an emphasis on the classics and modern classics. They make these classics exactly how you’re supposed to.The bartender was very knowledgeable. I love a good boulevardier, so I ordered one. He suggested his own rendition with Suze and Cynar instead of Campari and sweet vermouth. It was EXCELLENT.Overall, we were so happy we stumbled upon this place.“

“Monday night is an amazing brewery that takes care of their customers. I was lucky enough to get to try a few of their brews at a trade show in Charlotte and have been in love ever since. “I recently ate breakfast at Ruby Sunshine for the first time, and I was very impressed. The service is very good and the food is delicious. We started off with the beignets that were so tasty. I had the Three Little Pigs omelet that comes with bacon, ham, and sausage with grits and a delicious buttermilk biscuit. It was so good. The bar looks really cool, and I need to have a cocktail the next time I come back. If you are looking for a good breakfast/brunch spot in Ballantyne, I recommend Ruby Sunshine.“
“What a lovely experience we had here. We celebrated our anniversary and from the start they went out of their way to make us feel special. We got a little card from the restaurant wishing us a happy anniversary. We decided to get a bottle of wine, and the Sommelier was in the house that night and came over and extensively talked to us about the wine choices, and ended up helping us choose such a delicious bottle. It was so fun to be able to use that service.The food was so incredible. For start, we got the roasted oysters (absolutely delicious) and the 7 layer salad (crisp and refreshing, but could have used a little bit more dressing but still very yummy). For our meal, we got the pork shank that was on special and the poulet rouge. Our sides were the Mac and Cheese, mushroom risotto, and the Brussels. Everything was soooo incredible! The sauce on the chicken was delicious, the Mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful, the pork shank was so rich and had a delicious dark gravy on it. We stuffed ourselves so full and savored every single bite. For dessert we got the mud pie and they also brought out some cute little macarons for our anniversary. Delicious as well!The service was incredible and we never had to wait for anything. The food came quickly and they were always on top of changing our plates and silverware. Our water cups were always full and we got continuous top offs of our wine. Everyone was extremely nice. It was just so lovely.Highly recommend if you want a fancy night out. “I had dinner September 6th. We started with truffle fries and Gourdgeous, a bruschetta. They were both very flavorful. I followed up with Cahones, the cola barbecue sauce complemented the ground brisket meatballs. I also had the Juniper steak with grilled broccoli and parsnips with a garlic mist. Dessert was great. I tried butterscotch pound cake and red velvet brownie. My only regret was I didn't have a second stomach. You won't be disappointed. Be sure to try the Smokey old-fashioned. We arrived and were seated at the bar for the ticketed event. Their policy is to allow only the number of guests in the bar who can be seated. This leads to the experience that we enjoyed immensely. Ashley was our bartender and provided us with the perfect mix of cocktail knowledge and conversation without being "over bearing". Overall the place is a ten. Our dining experience was also great, starting off with the yummy pimento cheese app. Our waiters, Sergio and Frank, were very attentive to our needs. Even Chef Nolan came by to check on us a couple of times throughout our meal, which was extra special! Everything we ate, mushrooms, cauliflower, broccolini, chicken flatbread, fried chicken thighs, duck special, crab salad special, and the pasta bolognese, was delicious!
