“Definitely one of my favorite places with the best tacos! But also my four-year-old loves it because it’s a place where he can get up and dance and not feel like he’s acting out because the atmosphere is just so perfect for truly any kind of person/family. We love them, and even tho it’s a good 40-45min drive one way, we go as much as possible!“
“Our flight to LA was cancelled. Needed to find a place near our hotel to have lunch. Walked around and originally went to IHOP. It was completely empty , looked like a scary movie scene , we walked out. Walked by Chubz and noticed it was pretty busy , always a good sign. Walked in and we were greeted so friendly and kindly by the owner. He asked what brought us in , we explained our situation. Come to find out he is originally from the San Fernando Valley area which is where we are from. Explained to us the So Cal places he was trying to recreate with his own spin here in Charlotte. The food was amazing. The best we have had on this trip. For sure a Cali vibe. If we are ever back in Charlotte , we will for sure be stopping in Chubz for the awesome food and staff ! We ordered Chili cheese burger , double cheese burger , chili cheese fries , onion rings and a beef hot dog ! He gave us a sample of all his in house homemade sauces. All were fire as well !! Here is a pic of my partially eaten food The area is not the greatest. This is a diamond in the rough. Worth a visit“
“The best burger I have ever had! From the first bite to the very last, it was everything a burger should. The house made pickles, red onions and the melted white American cheese. Everyone needs to try this burger!! The fries also deserve a shoutout for being super crispy and hot.“
“I wanted to give then 5 stars because my burger looked and tasted much better than the pictures suggested. And I respect that they don't advertise food that looks better than what you get. Also the fries were a huge portion and great tasting. The food was a great price for this part of town as well. Everything came out quick, warm, and fresh. But I tipped a good amount, the amount you'd tip for a full service waiter. Yet the person who brought the food out wouldn't bring me the ketchup located 12 feet away from my table. "It's over there".So basically, the place is 5 stars, if you don't tip. Also I got a larfe beer for $10, which is kind of ridiculous where I'm from. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.“
“Dinner at The Cowfish is always a win. We’ve visited the Orlando location dozens of times, but tonight bisited the Charlotte location since we were in town. Faith, our server, recommended the Togarashi shrimp, and it was phenomenal. Mel, the manager, came out and spoke to us about our visits to Orlando, made some more recommendations, and made sure we were well set for the evening. We had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and Texas chili cheeseburger, both were absolutely excellent. The Cowfish is a must stop in Charlotte or Orlando!“
“I always go here with my wife and the people that work here are all so kind, specially the ones in the front. I’ve been to different restaurants and the food and service here is amazing! They keep this place always so clean. The guy has helped me decide what to get since my wife is very picky. And I appreciate what he does. And one of the workers up front even talks Spanish and I sometimes see her helping with people who struggles with their orders. But what I didn’t like is, how some customers are towards the workers and spreading lies on the reviews. When me and my wife have ate there a lot of times and not once have they been racist or involved religion like a review had said. But though people will continue spreading lies, I know me and my wife will continue coming here frequently!“
“Moo & Brew has become an instant fave! The staff are all incredibly personable and the food and drinks always hit the spot. Order the cheese curds, any of the fries, and the hibiscus marg. Pro tip: order whatever sandwich sounds good and swap out the protein for your choice. Thank me later!! Love the Tuesday night Trivia on the Tracks and can’t wait to check out karaoke on a Wednesday. Literally this place cannot disappoint!!Parking: There’s a free parking lot but if it’s crowded you can find free street parking nearby“
“First time at Bad Daddy’s, I was pleasantly surprised how good my spicy chicken burger was. It was a perfect blend of well cooked fried chicken with some spice and sweetness. The burger needed nothing else except I had to ask for some avocado because it did not have enough. The appetizer we chose was the poblano pepper strips with the spicy aioli (which was so flavorful). My daughter ordered the groomed cheese which we will not be ordering again. There was hardly cheese and the card too thick with no Mayo or anything to make moist and the broccoli had no seasoning!! My husband ordered a burger with lots of meat and he truly enjoyed but he did ask for the spicy aioli because it was a bit dry although cooked medium well. The place is busy but my complaint I’d that the tables are way too close to each other and the waiter had to be called over to our table because we did not see her in a while. I will say I can appreciate the ability of being able to order a side salad and customize it.“
“Love the Culver's double butter burger w/cheese, the fries are crinkle cut! ?? ??. Typically you'll be asked to pull forward at the drive thru and wait in a spot, but it comes out quickly usually ?. Definitely made to order burgers ??“
“Ana & Christian were amazing! Both made us some delish whiskey sours (NY style) . We’ve been in before and the atmosphere is always on point, the playlist is fire, the food is amazing. We recommend their 800 signature sauce for wings, chicken cesar salad is one of a kind, and the honey badger pizza. Al the pizzas are good but the honey badger is a spicy perfection . Perfect spot for a date night with your sweet thang, or friends, again the atmosphere is a perfect setting, and the service is the icing !“
“On a very busy March Madness Saturday in Uptown CLT we finally lucked out and found someone with some space at the bar. It was just timing as they were busy too. Despite the busy day, the service was kind and fast. They had a solid beer selection and I loved the grilled chicken sandwich and parm fries!“
“Well, let me just start by saying that this place is phenomenal! they have the best burgers I've ever eaten. the spot is on point with caring and smiling at the customers in their restaurant. the restaurant is so clean, nice, cool, and television to watch while you eat and people watch out of the windows. there is also seating outside if that's your deal. the atmosphere is just all around fantastic. TO THE ACE STAFF: Thank You guys for being so wonderful and thanks for the whole experience. Y'all are amazing!“
“This Chex location has the best bone in wings, hands down, from my experience at 3 other local locations. The girl at the counter was also very patient and friendly even though our order was large. I also loved the play area for my 5 year old while we waited for our takeout. He loved it too ?“
“Cash only with fast service from simple menu. Today was our first visit and I will be happy to return anytime. I ordered a hot dog with everything. It was well done and tasty. My sweet tea was excellent, according to my taste. Outside stand up dining all that I saw. Many ordered to eat elsewhere.“
“So, I walk in on for a bite to eat on a bright Sunday. This place has been haunting me in Google Maps for several days. I tend to avoid uptown because of parking, but this place was well worth it. I parked on the side street but later saw a parking lot across the street.I sat at the bar because it was the first thing I really noticed when I walked in. It was mildly busy that day. There were so many smiling faces, and the staff immediately assisted me when I stated it was my first time in.I ordered the vegan platter (yes, of course, I want the sausage with it) and a lavender vanilla latte with oat milk.Later, before leaving, I went to the bakery, which is located right inside and to the left and got the donut (vanilla birthday cake) and muffin (chocolate chip). The vegan and gluten-free were on the top shelf and clearly labeled in the case #winBack to the meal... I ordered and paid at the bar and was told to wait for the text that I would receive when my order was ready. I was directed to the back of the store for the food and the bakery for the coffee, but the bartender grabbed and delivered the items directly to me (so many thanks!)The food automatically came in to go containers. I appreciated that because it made it easier for me to go from the bar to a table to work (no laptops were allowed at the bar 10a-2p.I completely enjoyed everything I ate! It was flavored and cooked to perfection ??To say I'll be going back there is an understatement! You'll have to try this place! There are plenty of vegan options, and the price was VERY good for brunch! Not a full 5 stars because I asked for iced water, and the staff at the bakery counter told me to get the water from the community container. It's awesome that they offer this, but there was no ice. Also, they had me pay on a device and left the device in front of me for most of my meal. It was awkward and made me feel like I was supposed to do something more.Parking: I parked in a paid stall on the side of the building which is a shopping center. Parking was easy at this time. I'm going back to the restaurant this week and will update this if needed for the day/time.“
“My wife and I are pastrami lovers. We moved from around New York area and missed a good pastrami. We’ve been looking for a good pastrami place in charlotte area. My wife found Katz deli on line and we decided to give it a try. Oh my goodness, let me tell you our experience. We each took 1/2lb pastrami without knowing how good it was going to be. What a great decision we made. The taste was amazing and mouth watering. It was that good. The staff were so amazing. It took a minute late to get my order but it was worth it bc they made fresh rye bread. The girl who took care of the order kept me updated that they’re waiting for the fresh bread as I ordered more rye bread. While I was waiting I saw more repeat customers coming in. The place was packed. Next I’m going to try corned beef. My hats off to the owner. Please keep up the great job you’re doing. ?“
“My wife and I got a chance to eat there today and it was awesome. We had the chicken tenders, ahi tuna and fried pickles. The food is delicious and the service was great. A good amount of parking for the area and a nice airy open seating area.“
“20230906: Wednesday night is the one day Trio serves prime rib. It's nice to see you can order it rare. Key lime pie has recently replaced the bread pudding. Why not both?20220829 update: We've been back a few times since the post below. The food is consistently good, and we particularly like the chicken pecata. My wife and I had a great experience. Everything was fantastic. shared warm, home-made potato chips with blue cheese; she had the house salad and I had a Caesar; she had the meatloaf and we the salmon with asparagus and cauliflower purée, and we shared the bread pudding on cream anglaise. Our waitress, Angela, was also great. We're new to Charlotte, having been here about a year, and we love the restaurant scene. This is our new favorite place, being high quality and in a wonderful location.Parking: Parking in front, side, and spill over in evening at the neighboring paint store.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly, including kids, with kid-friendly food, like cheese pizza. Not Chuckee Cheese - so not a place for kiddy birthday parties.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp curb at front door, Wide double doors. Seating on ground level.“
“Visited Outback tonight. Jane was our server and she was phenomenal! She noticed our needs without making us flag her (I needed a lot of refills, never had to ask). She was available without being intrusive. We had a great evening and look forward to sitting in Jane's section again. The floor manager, Ashley, stopped by and chatted with us for a few moments. She really seemed on top of things and was interested in our perspective about the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and the staff were all friendly. The music was not too loud for conversation, but loud enough that we couldn't really hear the folks at nearby tables. I am very glad that Outback opened in our area.“
“The food was delicious!! We had the beef hotdogs, French fries and the Nachos with pulled chicken. Earl stopped by to check on us , he could tell I was fully enjoying the nachos, as I could barely stop eating them to respond. LolThank you Earl for your excellent customer service, it was greatly appreciated!Brenda & Micheal“
“How the hell do I give this place more stars ⭐️x10 !! Tonight I walked in and was immediately greeted by every worker in sight. The ordering process was easy and the cashier was extremely helpful and answered all my questions happily, this was my first time visiting but won’t be my last. I ordered a chili double burger and a regular double cheeseburger with two orders of fries. Let me say nothing about these burgers were regular, these were the best burgers I’ve had in over 5 years, even after a 40 minute drive to my apartment the burgers still tasted fresh and succulent. I was so full off one burger and a half order off fries but I was determined to finish the rest so I would cry and dream about it all night if I didn’t. The food was so flavorful I had to keep alternating between my fries and the burgers. Definitely recommend, definitely will be back. Actually considering moving closer to be nearby. I don’t have any photos because the food is demolished….If you’re trying to decide on this and any other place choose this place and you’ll forget about the other!!!“
“Went here on a Saturday night when there was a March madness UNC game happening as well as a charlotte fc game in the city. Despite it being Saturday night, service was really quick as well as super kind. On top of the amazing service, the food was delicious!“
“First time eating here and I’m superrrrrr impressed! Decently priced and you absolutely get what you pay for. Customer service is amazing. I didn’t even take a pic of my food because I started eating right away LMAOOO ? I’ll definitely be coming back !“
“If You Love Nostalgia, This Place Will Take You Way Back To The Late 50's Into The Early 60's.Not Only Is It Nostalgic, The Food Is Worth The Stop. Their Onion Rings Are Some, If Not The Very Best In Charlotte! Great Place To Grab A Bite And Reminisce About How a Things Used To Be.They Serve A Large Variety Of Meals And Sandwiches. 1/4 Of A Chicken, Fried Chicken, Trout Dinners, Hamburger Steak, Chicken Salad, and Multiple Desserts. You Really Can't Go Wrong. ✌️?“
“I tried this spot using Uber Eats for dinner after a late night with work. I ordered the kids pizza sticks (came with sauce), brussels sprouts salad, and a can of grapefruit soda (not pictured). The meal was filling. I need to stop by to try some pizza. The sticks were hot, and the salad & soda were cold on delivery.“
“We’ve been coming to Greco since the first one opened in Blakney. We love the food and the people. Tonight we are in the Waxhaw location the food was great as always and Jenny was so sweet! We were there to celebrate our 12 year old daughter’s birthday (she’s been going to Greco since she was born) and Jenny brought her out a piece of baklava to help celebrate.“
“Me and my girlfriend came here last night just looking for a place with good food and beer. This place absolutely nailed it. The burgers are completely as advertised. The Playlist they had on was a vibe and bartender Zoey and the other gentleman took care of everything we asked for. I think we found our new brew and bites place in uptown. Thanks y'all!“
“Bailey was such an amazing server. She was so sweet kind and delivered awesome service. The food here was delicious and very tasty. I ordered the blackened Salmon with broccoli and salad and everything was seasoned to perfection. If I could rate this restaurant infinity stars I would. Thanks so “
“Craving a delicious chicken burger? Look no further than Burger 21! This was my second visit, and I wasn't disappointed. As someone who usually avoids red meat, the Monterey Chicken is a perfect option. It's packed with flavor and comes highly recommended. While the fries weren't quite homemade (they use frozen ones), they were surprisingly good! I'd rate them a solid 6.5/10. Overall, the delicious food and friendly atmosphere will definitely have me coming back for more.“
“Wow! The hype was real! I had to check out this place before they shut down on Sunday. The Ma Duke's plate w/catfish was delicious! Some of the best fish ever! Bubba chucks were awesome... light and fluffy. The stewed greens tasted great although a lil' too much sauce. The field pea slaw was like regular slaw. Jimmy sauce was tasty! Nice atmosphere eating at their bar. Very glad I was able to experience Jimmy Pearls. Best wishes to these guys in their next endeavor!!!“
“I've been to the other location in fort mill before but I was out with my family one day and we stopped by the stonecrest location for lunch. Walked in for lunch for a party of four one afternoon and we were seated immediately in a booth which was awesome. The interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated and has plenty of TVs to catch the games on that day. We did not order any cocktails because of dry January but I would like to come back another time to try them. We all ordered entrees and they arrived very quickly because the service was amazing! I ordered the buffalo chicken salad which was the perfect balance of healthy and not. The others had the French onion soup, black and blue burger, and the classic burger. All were fresh ingredients and tasty!“
“Such friendly people, with amazingly delicious food. Seriously, so good! Best burgers we have EVER had, anywhere! We have been customers at their food truck, and now the cafe as well. I really appreciate the availability of gluten free buns!“
“Absolutely fantastic Detroit style pizza!!! The crust and cheese are just amazing!!! Worth the drive from Hickory!! We had the MVP and the Good Paulie. The toppings were fresh and there was a generous amount of them. Highly recommend if you enjoy thick crust pizza.“
“My husband and I stopped by Red Robin for lunch. Our server was Jacqlyn. She was pleasant and answered all of our questions. Clean establishment. We got a Pretzel Bite appetizer. It was good. For lunch, I ordered a Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. My husband got a Smoke and Pepper Burger with Garlic Fries. Everything came out hot and was delicious. Our beverages consisted of Sweet Tea for me and an IPA Juicy Haze for hubby.Clean restroom. Booths and tables and chairs. There is plenty of free parking. Has a handicapped ramp.“
“I love this neighborhood pub. Friendly service, great wings, amazing prices and a warm & friendly environment. We come here often. Standard pub fare - wings, burgers, flatbreads, appetizers, etc. we love the wings. The tater tots and onion rings and fries are all crispy and delicious. A great spot to watch sports. Don't come if Alabama is playing football. They were slammed busy today at 5pm due to basketball and the service didn't suffer for it. The place was full plus a birthday party and UNC game followed by a NC State game and staff rocked it. Bravo!“
“Queen City Craft and Gourmet has been a staple lunch location for our family since they opened. The menu rotates through the seasons, the beer choices are amazing and also rotate, and the staff is always polite and helpful.Today I ordered my usual, greek salad, this time with grilled chicken. When it is in season, the trout is an amazingly prepared protein to top a delicious salad here. However, the chicken does the job when there is no trout on the menu - it's grilled just fine. The greens here are always fresh, the olives are full of flavor and perfectly salty, and the tomatoes are sliced big and juicy. The highlight of the salad are the huge triangles of feta, which make for a delicious treat of flavor mixed into the salad. I don't care for peppers, but my wife loves them so she always happily picks them out of my salad for me.I also ordered a side dish of Salt & Pepper Brussels. Oh my goodness they always come out roasted to perfection. Just enough oil, just enough seasoning, and cooked to bring out just amazing flavors. This little side dish is my favorite thing on the menu. The staff, including the owner, was wonderful as always. Friendly as can be, greeting customers as they enter and making sure to thank us as we were leaving. This is a place that genuinely appreciates all customers and definitely makes that obvious. You will feel extremely welcome coming to Queen City Craft and Gourmet for a meal or a drink. The friendliness of the atmosphere cannot be beat here, but I did take a star away from this category just because the design of the interior space is just okay.Overall, we highly recommend Queen City Craft and Gourmet to anyone looking for an incredible meal with amazing drink choices and the friendliest of staff. You will come away appreciating your food while feeling appreciated for being a patron.Parking: It's a very big shopping center with plenty of parking. No issues.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, but really the adult menu has many appetizers and side dishes to make any kid happy. Today our kid ordered 2 sides of shrimp as their meal and they were quite satisfied.“
“This neighborhood restaurant is truly a wonderful place. I enjoy the food and the friendliest staff. Nothing has changed over the 10yrs I’ve been going and I honestly appreciate the homeliness and familiarity that it maintains for the neighborhood.Even though I no longer live in the area, this place will always be on my must go list. Food is reasonably priced, place is clean and even the locals share a friendly smile.“
“I went there with my husband before a checkers game. I play pool competitively and wanted to see what this establishment had to offer. Coin operated 7ft tables. I believe it was $1.50 per game. Met some regulars that were friendly. Tables looked decent. I ordered a Cobb salad. Wasn't what I thought it would be. It was ground chicken instead of a filet of chicken. It still was good just different from the norm. Service was good as it was roughly 430pm. I would like to see it when it's busy to have a more accurate review. I would still go back when I'm on that side of town.“
“Game night. This place is bangin'. Girlfriend says best shrimp taco ever. Wings are on point. Service and music and attentiveness in busy atmosphere is ? all around. Beautiful, bravo, best spot in Charlotte so far.Vegetarian options: PlentyDietary restrictions: Whatever you need“
“The food is great! Atmosphere is great, plenty of TVs to watch sports. The staff is super friendly and professional. I had the shrimp appetizer, a burger and fries. And of course an adult beverage :). Everything was great! OH! Plus they have discounts for military, police, and firemen!“
“¡Qué Sabor! A Taste of Venezuelan Sunshine at Chamos GrillTucked away in the heart of Charlotte, a little food truck called Chamos Grill is serving up a vibrant taste of Venezuela that's sure to warm your soul (and your tummy!). This family-owned gem bursts with authentic flavors, friendly faces, and the kind of warmth that makes you feel instantly welcome. From the moment you step up to the window, the aroma of sizzling arepas and savory fillings hits you like a hug. We dove headfirst into the classics - the Reina Pepiada, a succulent shredded chicken salad nestled in a perfectly griddled arepa, and the Pabellón Criollo, a hearty mix of shredded beef, black beans, and fried sweet plantains. Each bite was an explosion of textures and flavors, with the fluffy cornbread of the arepa absorbing the rich stewed fillings perfectly. The portions are generous, and the prices are beyond reasonable - enough to satisfy your hunger and leave you wanting more. What truly sets Chamos Grill apart is the passion and genuine warmth of the family behind it. You can feel their love for their heritage poured into every plate. They take the time to explain the dishes, answer your questions with a smile, and make you feel like you're part of their extended family. It's this kind of personal touch that elevates Chamos Grill from a simple food truck to a true Charlotte gem.Whether you're craving a taste of the tropics or simply looking for a delicious and authentic lunch experience, Chamos Grill is a must-try. It's more than just food; it's a vibrant fiesta of flavors, warmth, and Venezuelan sunshine that will leave you wanting to come back for more. So next time you're in Charlotte, skip the chain restaurants and head to Chamos Grill - your taste buds (and your heart) will thank you!Support local, family-owned businesses like Chamos Grill and spread the word about this hidden gem!“
“Little hole in the wall spot in Charlotte. Came for a lunch break during a job and it was very good food. Simple and good flavor. Had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. Seems the sides are obviously frozen but still okay. Burger was very good. Big portion and great flavor. Just a good burger.“
“Even and Whitney were amazing. We started at a table and loved to the bar and was treated very well. Drinks, food, and customer service was amazing and everyone as friendly. I had a small issue and even and Whitney came to the rescue and made sure we was good again. Come visit and show support. Good food, good music and easy “
“My first time here visiting from Virginia. I will say that the food was very good. The service was okay you had to wait a little while for someone to take our order but our server Doug was good he took care of us. I will definitely be back!“
“Apparently I rated this place with 4 stars 5 years ago, but I do not remember ever eating here.To my knowledge, I tried it for the first time on 04/06/2024. I ordered online. I wasn’t sure what I wanted until I browsed the menu and decided upon seafood. I thought, how bad could it be it’s just fried fish and shrimp….I have been thinking about this place ever since..lolI got the two option combo with 2 pieces of flounder and baby shrimp fried crispy. Comes with two sides. I got fries and hush puppies. The hush puppies are extra 25 cents. The fish was fried to perfection and not overly seasoned. The shrimp were delightful!! I enjoyed all of the food. I even returned three days later for the same meal.My only suggestion would be to allow the option to select only one side or two of the same sides online. Other than that, this place is now my go to place for fried fish and shrimp.“
“New place opening in Ballantyne. Very nice ambience. The mood created with soft lighting and smooth music sets the tone for a great night.. the mixologist made amazing cocktail. My wife enjoyed the purple rain.Very nice selection of cuisinesVegetarian options: Black bean burger. Zucchini friesTruffle fries“
“Was visiting from out of town and ran across this restaurant. Went through the drive thru and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food, taste, and quality. Ordered the flounder and shrimp and also the classic chicken pita (not pictured). Highly recommend.“
“Great cozy place hidden in plain view. Very fresh ingredients and caring staff. This made for a great first impression. Chimmycurri fries were crispy and very yummy. Green sauce is cilantro, parsley, garlic and olive oil. Very good. Cucumber salad and the wurst bruat you'll ever want.“
“My first time at this location was on Tuesday, 03-12-24. I received an email about the promo for a free SmokeShack with a $10 purchase. I ordered the SmokeShack, kimchi fries, root beer, & yuzu lemonade. I liked the kimchi seasoning on the fries; the sauce, not so much. The SmokeShack had an unexpected kick of spice/heat which I liked. The service at this location was much better than Woodlawn; the employees seemed more organized. There was a good, chill vibe while I waited for my order which didn't take long. I was able to watch a little basketball. They're a little pricey for burgers & fries to me, but I'd definitely return to this location for a splurge.“
“Romeo’s was amazing!! I just ate one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life at the Greensboro location on Tate St. So good!!! I’m a meat eater but the burger I got did not leave me wanting meat. The chili cheese fries my husband got were amazing too. Definitely coming back soon! Please support this local business!“
