“This is my corner bar, I have been a regular since they opened. Great beer, great food, and best of all: staff and managers! Can't list names of everyone today, but each of you shares parts of your lives and dreams, in addition to being awesome at your job. Today, I AM going to name Allison, who greats me with a big hug every time I see her! Just so love my corner bar!“
“Amazing drinks, first tasted one of their Blender series at a local bottle shop and could not stop talking about it. Found out this was not too far from me and took my best friend with me. I tried a few beers, the food truck sadly was closed when we went but they were very accommodating with us getting outside food. Seems they have some events that happen regularly, including a cycling group. The bartender was informative and had no problems answering specific questions. Even let me know which beers were vegan for me to take some home to my wife. Amazing selections.“
“Love this place. The service is fantastic and I've never had a bad meal or a bad drink. I highly recommend their brisket meatballs and their sandwiches. There's a large patio to chill and have a beer and/or just hang out. Dogs are welcome on the patio too!“
“Have been here before and its such an enjoyable experience! Love the vibe inside and bartenders are always friendly and helpful. They have gingers revenge on tap which i was thrilled about but also tried other beers and all were delicious! They also now have snacks for purchase including pimiento cheese and gluten free options as well!!“
“LOVE SALUD! Absolute FAVORITE coffee bar in Charlotte. Staff is amazing especially DELPHINE. From the small candid conversations to remember the small things like (giving me hot honey before I even ask because I always forget). They have the best customer service in Charlotte HANDS DOWN. Thank you so much!“
“The beer is quite good. The atmosphere is industrial typical. It is often crowded though usually there are seats. I haven't tried the food, so I can't comment. This is not a good place to have a conversation between more than two or three people. With loud music and other people, it is hard to hear without shouting.“
“Absolutely loved the vibe. The music was excellent and everyone was so chill and friendly. Service was fast and courteous even during a major event our UNCC social work program coordinated. This was my first visit, and I'll definitely be back with friends. Food by Taco Green-go was a delicious cherry on top.“
“Loved this place. Great beer options, good menu. Only negative, imo, was the live music made it impossible to talk with friends. Dont know a solution. Entertainment is a nice touch. Maybe they can tone it down a notch? Or start it later in the evening ? We were there at 6pm on a saturday.“
“Charlotte's oldest brewery and one of the largest. They have a pub along with a huge beer garden.Fun place to visit with a combination of Southern hospitality and German brewing. It was not too crowded on a Sunday night so there was no problem with seating.Tried their Captain Jack Pilsner. A light lager ..4.8 ABV.Also tried their 2 sausage sampler that came with potato salad, sauerkraut and a brotchen roll. We sampled the Krakow sausage which was like a Polish and Weisswurst which was a light German style sausage. Platter is big enough to share.Plenty of parking.Definitely worth a stop when in Charlotte.“
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Suffolk Punch Brewery is an absolute gem! My recent visit left me in awe of their culinary and brewing prowess. The Suffolk Punch Brewing South Park burger was a flavor explosion - the Irish Oaks Grass Fed Beef paired perfectly with the fresh Bibb Lettuce, Tomato, Shaved Onion, and those unforgettable Drunken Pickles. And let's not forget about the ooey-gooey goodness of the cheddar cheese and SPG sauce, all nestled in a delightful local bun from QCP Co. Perfection on a plate! And as for their brews, the Work Horse pale ale citra was a revelation. It was hoppy, crisp, and refreshing - the ideal companion for a Thursday evening. And speaking of Thursdays, their $3 Thursday deal is an absolute steal! From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality. Suffolk Punch Brewery has definitely earned a permanent spot on my list of favorite spots in town. Can't wait for my next visit!"“
“We recently held a baby shower in the Barrel Room and it could not have been more perfect. It was hassle-free from the initial planning to the execution and every request was met with a smile. Room was very comfortable, food was excellent, libation selection was unlimited! Oh, and all for a very fair price. We highly recommend Protagonist for a fun time!“
“Soooo many selections to choose from! Definitely something for everyone. Great customer service & knowledge from the bartenders. Intimate but airy it's a very comfortable place to hang out, share a bottle of wine, & people watch.“
“Very relaxed but trendy vibe. Staff was super friendly. Really love the glassware they use which are brewery glasses from different random breweries. Numerous little outdoor seating/hanging out options as well. Very cool place. Will be back!“
“If you like craft beer, this is a great corner of Terminal E in the Charlotte airport. Part of Old Mecklenburg Brewery which I learned is the oldest in Charlotte. Bartender, maybe owner, was great to talk to. He's a bit deluded that the Eagles should've won the last Super Bowl, but the Chiefs won...so that's OK :).“
“Growlers is a Noda staple and I'm so glad it's part of the neighborhood. Ambiance ranges from cozy to bustling and I love that you can just really choose your own adventure here. You can have the crispiest draft PBR in Charlotte, or you could have a beautifully crafted cocktail. Perfect spot to drop in for a snack, or you can just live large and fill up an entire booth table top with plates of their delicious food. Their burger, nachos, oysters, wings, fries, vegetable crudité are all excellent. I have friends who swear by the various sandwiches. My only tip is that you go in knowing you will leave smelling like the doughnut shop in the back. It's a delicious smell, but there's no way to hide you just enjoyed a trip to growlers! The staff takes care of you for sure. Shout out Kelli especially!!! Kelli treats regulars like friends and new guests with respect! Sometimes it feels like Kelli can read my mind. It's always a pleasure to see familiar faces, but anytime I see someone new here they're always attentive as well. Go visit if you haven't already!!!“
“Great first visit to SPB! We had the American burger, the kids chicken tenders/fries and kids grilled cheese with fries. The burger was "fine". The side salad was great quality but was mostly apples and little kale....maybe it's mixed up in a big batch and when they scooped out a serving, it just so happened to get all the apples? the hand battered tenders and the grilled cheese on the sourdough roll were fantastic BUT THE FRIES!!! They were the star of the night!! YUM! We had a couple mixed drinks that were made just how we liked them. I couldn't believe how quickly the drinks came out. It was impressive. My husband will skip the burger next time and try the Reuben instead. We can't wait to come back! It was a little tricky to find. It's between Dick's and The Container store“
“Highly recommend Heist Brewery NODA! We had my brother’s surprise 30th birthday here and every staff member who helped us went above and beyond. Courtney and Tiffany quickly answered every question in the planning process and were so accommodating. Chris and Hayden behind the bar the night of helped make this party a huge success! The food was absolutely delicious and we couldn’t be happier with our experience!! 6/5⭐️“
“Charlotte airport layover and we stumbled across Valerie at this restaurant. Good southern food. Salmon Caesar was amazing and the soup! But our server Valerie stole the show - a true southern belle with charm and wit. Recommend for weary travelers who aren’t hurry.“
“Either they have a good manager or they are self managing. Amazing friendly service. Everything was very clean and the people who work there were very attentive and kind. Was having a craving for cranberry and the bartender made me the best cocktail I’ve had in a while. Bright and balanced. Give her a raise!“
“Hi Wire is a great place for a wide variety of FREE games. Ping pong, air hockey, soccer pool, connect 4. I always love a space with gender neutral bathrooms and wheel chair accessibility. The beer selection and calendar of events is very robust as well.An area of improvement is using gender neutral pronouns for the patrons. I noticed rainbow flags all over the space but I was misgendered by the bar tender which didn’t feel affirming. I gave the space 4 stars because I recommend using they pronouns if you don’t know how someone identifies.“
