“I always go here with my wife and the people that work here are all so kind, specially the ones in the front. I’ve been to different restaurants and the food and service here is amazing! They keep this place always so clean. The guy has helped me decide what to get since my wife is very picky. And I appreciate what he does. And one of the workers up front even talks Spanish and I sometimes see her helping with people who struggles with their orders. But what I didn’t like is, how some customers are towards the workers and spreading lies on the reviews. When me and my wife have ate there a lot of times and not once have they been racist or involved religion like a review had said. “Late Night/Early morning after the club sustenance!! We are not from the area and only came into Charlotte for an evening event. We did however pre research some local wings spots incase we were hungry after all the dancing. Chex happened to be only 5 minutes from where we were and with a good rating we chose to give them a try. We arrived 45 minutes before closing and boy were they busy!! (That’s a good thing) Phone orders were coming in non stop all the way up to closing and people were walking in every 3 minutes.My girl friend and I ordered a 20 count wings with lemon pepper (dry) and honey hot sauce. The wings were cooked perfectly nice crunch factor and the ranch was delicious. The honey hot was let’s call it lip puckering in the lip filler kind of way..lol but still a great taste and the dry lemon pepper was very overpowering with how much seasoning was on each wing. “Wow. First off service was very southern and hospitable. The waitress made an effort to check in and give suggestions as it was out first time. She even went over the different sauces that were on the table! The food was great as well. Our appetizer was the chicarrons and they were still sizzlings, so extra pints on that. We got a meat bbq platter and the salmon meal. Both had their fare share of salt but I enjoyed the experience of North Carolina bbq. The aesthetic of the restaurant also makes this place memorable. “We were at Top Golf and really wanted good pizza. Unfortunately Hickory where we are from is limited. Handmade crust, fire burning oven, hand tossed, crispy crust, fresh ingredients. They were short handed but staff was very polite and the food was wonderful. The best pizza we have had in a very long time. Thank you so much. If I had to call out any one thing it would be that they did turn away a family from quite a distance away with 30 min. left open . The pizza only took about 10 min once we placed our order so they could have served them. That’s really the only thing. We were very pleasantly surprised.“

“Let me start by saying the food does not disappoint at this restaurant. The rice & Peas taste like authentic Jamaican cuisine like when in Montego Bay, Jamaica. I'm vegan so I can't vouch for any meat dishes with curry or jerk, but the chickpea curry is quite tasty and is coconut milk based. You can order it spicy upon request which adds the best flavor in my opinion. I can eat the spinach patties all day. They are delicious. The cabbage and greens are okay. I've referred others to order at a conference in Charlotte and they loved the curry and Jerk chicken.I've only ordered via doordash, but I'm a frequent shopper. The only thing I dislike is that often I have to remove meat pieces from my rice which is annoying ? since I'm vegan but I am conscious of it when I order now. You fan sit and wait for orders, or you can sit outside under an umbrella. The parking lot is huge with parking for all the shops in the area. Including a couple of restaurants. “The pizzas were great. The staff is very nice at this location. It's generally fairly busy on a weekend night, so there is often a wait to be seated, but it was reasonable. As always, the root beer is the best in town. I don't know the brand, or if it's from a can, I just know it's in a frosted glass, very cold, and taste great going down.Parking: If it's busy in the shopping plaza it can be hard to find a spot but do a lap and something always comes open quickly enough. Let guests with handicap out at the front and then go find parking.“
“We took a party of 17 here to celebrate our son’s 5th birthday and it was fantastic! We advised them a week ahead to make sure they would be able to accommodate such a large group on a Saturday. The manager and staff were superb and everyone said it was the best pizza and wings they ever had! “Amazingly, this review is five stars, and I haven't even visited the restaurant yet., Usually I reserve the five star rating for an in-restaurant visit. But given the quality of the multiple DoorDash orders we've received from Mix, I am very comfortable giving them a top-notch rating. Even though it's already been said in previous reviews, let's just start with the wings. We have ordered several different varieties (all were really good( and we keep coming back to the lemon pepper which is probably one of the best versions I've had in the last year or so - and I eat a lot of wings. Even though they were delivered, probably 25 minutes after they came out of the fryer, we still found them to be very crispy and very flavorful. One of the worst things about ordering lemon pepper wings, especially take out, is getting a set of wings with virtually no seasoning on them. That was not the issue with these wings in the least!The other complement I need to give them is on their fryer game. You can make great wings, but then put out horrible fried sides, like fries, tater tot's, onion, rings, and okra. But not at Mix! Their fryer game is popping, literally! The onion rings are probably some of the best in the city, and again, this is delivery onion rings that typically would come out of the container soggy and wet. These were just like we like them, crispy, hot with just the right amount of grease. This is definitely one of our favorite spots to order from and hopefully we'll make it into the actual restaurant in person at some point in the future. But until then, keep those lemon pepper wings poppin!“

The guy who is always at the front is quick to greet customers and goes out of his way to ensure that everyone has a good experience. They also have other sides and dishes like tteokbokki, but their chicken is definitely my favorite thing on the menu. The seating area is small and a lot of people place to-go orders.
