“I have heard a lot about this place and thought I'd give it a try. OMG!!! I totally understand what the hype is all about!! They only serve chicken tenders, but they are phenomenally good!! My best advice is to be conservative with your heat level. The hot is VERY hot and your tummy will NOT be your friend the next morning. But I will definitely be going back!!!“
“Marcos was awesome! He was so pleasant and provided excellent customer service. And the tres leches cake was SUPERB! I had a great experience this visit. Thanks Marcos!Parking: There's a free parking lot across the street and paid street parking directly in front of the establishment.“
“EXCELLENT customer service! We are on vacation and stopped in after tasting a sample. The staff was extremely friendly and treated our family very well! Seriously, over the top! We will definitely come again on our next trip. The food was also very good!“
“Looking for a Latin culinary adventure beyond the typical Mexican and Central American fare in Charlotte? Look no further than Chick-o-Rico! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm ambiance that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.I recently indulged in a lunch feast at Chick-o-Rico, and let me tell you, it was a fiesta for the senses! I kicked things off with a tantalizing chicken empanada that left me craving more. Then, the pièce de résistance arrived – a succulent 1/4 rotisserie chicken served with mouthwatering sides of house salad and rice topped with pinto beans. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, perfectly seasoned and oh-so-satisfying.And let's talk about that salsa picante – although I requested it, I found myself abandoning it after the first heavenly bite of their moist and impeccably seasoned chicken. That's how good it was!If you're a connoisseur of Peruvian chicken chain restaurants, prepare to be blown away. Chick-o-Rico's offerings are in a league of their own, surpassing expectations with every dish.As for beverages, I resisted the temptation to dive into their array of tantalizing juice flavors, because I would have preferred a limonada de coco and they do not offer that. Perhaps next time, I will try one of their beverages. The ambiance was just right – vibrant music filled the air, creating an energetic atmosphere without drowning out the possibility of engaging in lively conversation. In conclusion, Chick-o-Rico delivers an exceptional dining experience that leaves you eagerly anticipating your next visit. Trust me, once you've tasted their culinary delights, you'll be counting down the days until you can indulge again. ¡Buen provecho!“
“Never been here before and it was the best. Tried 4 different kinds and loved them all. The potatoes soup was also very good. I will definitely go back. The ladies working there in front were also very kind and informative. Love the little cookies also. Visited 3/4/23?Vegetarian options: Mostly salads“
“Excellent, memorable. I am a "fried chicken snob" and this is the best I've had in a long time. And the collards were the real deal too. This is a small take out place with two tables outside. It takes a while for the food to come out because they are a cook to order place. This is likely why the food is so good but plan on waiting about 20 minutes. Or order ahead. The folks were very welcoming. And again... the chicken was excellent.“
“As many times as I’ve passed by this street I never knew this place was here. I had the southern bbq wrap which comes on a sun dried tomato tortilla. I was a little skeptical because of the tortilla but it was actually really good and a pretty decent size at that the apples weren’t bad either. They have a lot of options on their menu that would make you wanna try them all.“
“Fried Chicken is the best we’ve had since moving here 17 years ago, Mac& Cheese was creamy and delicious, Sweet Potato Tots dusted with Cinnamon and Sugar were yummy and the Jalapeño Cornbread was sweet and moist with just the right amount of peppers, service was good and our sweet tea was kept filled. Absolutely no complaints, highly recommend and look forward to our next visit!“
“When this place opened, of course this place was booming and overtime it has slowed back down. This place can be hit or miss with their slim's meal orders. Most times food be fresh but when the order isn't fresh you can tell they throw anything in the bag. I never get the wings here, never crispy.Service at drive thru always friendly. Overall i'd recommend this place over Bojangles close by here anyday.“
“We love Chicken Salad Chick and have been to multiple locations, but most recently came back to this one as our closest one is temporarily closed.Chicken Salad Favorites:Sassy Scotty - ranch, bacon and cheeseBuffalo Barclay - ranch and buffalo saucePam's Parmesan Caesar - this is a seasonal, but it really should be permanent as Caesar goes amazing in chicken salad. This is my ultimate favorite.Other Chicken Salads we like from time to time:Olivia's Old South - egg and picklesFancy Nancy - apples, grapes, and pecansKickin Kay Lynne - buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, cheese, jalapenos, and srirachaSandwiches:Turkey Club - this is a great alternative if you do not want chicken salad.Turkey Pesto - My husband's favorite, but it is not currently on the menu.Chicken Salad BLT - pick your favorite chicken salad for a great sandwich!Sides:Broccoli Salad - only issue with this is it is inconsistently made. Sometimes it is very runny, which then soaks a sandwich if you get a takeout order (which happened this last time).Drinks:Strawberry Lemonade - sweet and refreshingDesserts:Iced Cookies - haven't tried any desserts other than the included iced cookies, but they are so good!Definitely recommend Chicken Salad Chick for a great lunch option. Get the large quick chicks of chicken salad to go for lunches throughout the week!“

“The food was piping hot and well seasoned. The service was professional and caring with smiles. The collards are home cooked and the slaw is fine and delicious. If you have not tried the fried squash you have missed out on a great flavor and enough to share . Elina and Billy will make sure you are happy , full and satisfied. Just ask Alma and Ray“
“Very good place to enjoy with your family, with free parking, they serve you to taste. You can order however you want your dish to come out. Not necessarily as it appears on the menu. Very delicious pupusas. I will return as many times as I want. I recommend it.“
“The food was amazing! It was our first time and we loved it. The service needs a lot of work. There was a line but it moved fast and we were quick to place our order. It took 40 minutes to receive the food after ordering. Everyone else was receiving their food after a reasonable wait time except me and the couple that ordered right after us. I had to ask at the 30 min mark and then finally received it at 40 min. We ordered to eat in but received it all in a take out bag. We ordered a #1 (received a #1 but charged a #2 on the receipt) a #3 ( but only received 1 slider, tender was missing) and a #4 (but received and extra slider). We made it work since we got the total # of chickens that we asked for and could not wait any longer for them to correct it. The dining room is a mess! We were there for well over an hour and not once did anyone come out to wipe down tables as diners were leaving. Everyone that came in had to sit at a dirty table if they wanted to dine in. An employee, in uniform, was eating at the far back right corner table during dinner rush ( Friday night 5:30). When the employee finished they also did not wipe down the table and left it dirty for the next diner. The overall service is unimpressive for a location that just recently opened (Cicero, NY). We will go back because the food was fabulous but we will not be dining in and will definitely check our order before leaving.“
