“A group of three of us stopped by for a business lunch. This a hidden jewel from a bygone era. We all had the large classic cheese burger and fries loaded. The sweet tea was devine. The burgers were old school hand patted and cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding. A couple of notes to address some complaints in the reviews. If it comes loaded it has slaw on it which does cool it down. Ours were cooked as ordered and the fries burnt my mouth. Down home folks doing the restaurant business old school in a new era is tough but appreciated by those of us from a different era.“

“WOW! My boyfriend and I recently moved into the area and decided to try out sals a few weeks ago. At that time we got a buffalo chicken pizza & a Hawaiian pizza. Today we decided to try them again and got a margarita pizza, Stromboli, and antipasto salad. Our order was QUICKLY finished and tastes absolutely delicious. Sal is very personable and extremely talented in the kitchen. Our favorite pizzeria by far.“

“Haven't been in this location for a while. They switched it up to more pool hall on one side and dark bar on the other. Service was good. People are super friendly. The food was good. Nice location for the ballpark too.Parking: The location has limited spots, but the city has created parking along the street. I'm not sure if there is a cost as we got a spot in the lot.“

“It's great. Always leave full. I reckon it's fairly healthy. Like to build my own concoction, but they have named bowls. Always quick. Hage to drive 30 minutes to eat here, but it's worth it a few times a month. Definitely recommend. I've had a few other poke places around town and in other cities. I like Poke Bros. Other brands are each a little different on choices of rice and toppings, but this 1 is my favorite so far.“

“Came here for lunch and ordered the jerk chicken lunch special with a Ting. The rice and peas were great, cabbage was good, and the jerk chicken was great. I am not normally a big fan of the gravy style jerk chicken, but this was perfect. Good amount of spice and everything had a good amount of flavor. Wash it all down with a Ting for less than $15 out the door. Worth a stop here if you are passing through the area. Staff was also very friendly and fast.“

“The food at Don Pedro was amazing. I had Seafood Paella, Whole Fried Tilapia, Salad with Avocado and Yellow Rice. I was thoroughly satisfied. The food exceeded my expectations. “I went in today to have breakfast after my appointment. I'm truly glad we went in because the service was amazing, especially with Tater (Scott) and the other people there, like the owner, Rhonda. I got the breakfast plate with scrambled eggs with onions, bacon , grits, and toast, as well as coffee on the side. The coffee was fresh and not too watered down like many places I've been to. I will note that the buttery grits were so creamy and just perfectly made. I've had really hard, disgusting grits before. My son had the club sandwich and he really enjoyed it. He had no complaints at all and even saved the other half for later because it was a lot, lol. I started asking questions about the place and how long it has been there. Rhonda is the daughter of the original owner, and he was well known in the area, she stated. They have a nice photo to commemorate him with him having a big smile on his face . I loved the quaint, small mom-and-pop vibe of the place. Honestly, I appreciate places like these so much more because you can tell they are doing the cooking with love. As we sat and enjoyed our meal, we heard and saw what seemed to be regulars. You can tell you are treated like family here. I loved hearing the joking between customers and employees because it felt lighthearted. I also enjoyed how the tables have so many pictures of customers, etc. I also ended up ordering a cheesesteak for my daughter to go with some fries . Let me tell you, I made sure to ask for a bite of it from her, lol. Well, I'm glad I did. Now I know I can enjoy a cheesesteak from here. I shall note... While no, it is not the normal Philly we know, literally from Philadelphia, it is quite good with the hoagie roll they use, and the meat is tender and not overly chopped. We also had a piece of cake that they were giving out today, and it was red velvet. I'm not a big fan of that flavor, but it really was pretty darn good. All in all, it is a simple yet great establishment to get a great cup of coffee and a nice meal that isn't going to break the bank. I am truly grateful to Tater for his amazing customer service skills and sweet nature. To all the employees and the owner, thank you for having a place that many call home.“

“This was my first time eating here. I got the tenderloin platter which was delicious. With a drink it was about $13. The seating capacity was less than I expected. Probably seating for about 20 people tops. You order at the counter/cash register and sit till your order is brought to you. I will return.“
