“One of the best southern soul food restaurants I have been to. The pinto beans were full of meat and well seasoned along with the mixed cabbage and collard greens. The oxtails was plentiful over rice and gravy was definitely devine.I will definitely make this my go to for great soul food dining and will pass info to my family and friends.Parking: Handicapp and wheel chair accesible“
“I had been meaning to try this spot for some time. As luck would have it, I was in the area for a different event and convinced the group to try out this spot. First off, you scan the qc code for the menu and to order. No cash was accepted. I didn't have a problem with this, but one of the crew did as they only had cash. We went at about lunchtime but the place was not busy and the workers were very attentive. Overall all, I enjoyed the food. Can it beat out grandma on the island, of course not. But, I liked the offering and was pleased with the visit. Plus, no one beat Grandma. Lol“
“The Cajun catfish was fresh and it was great. I also had the cabbage and collards which were decent but the catfish was definitely the star!They do not have table service but you are able to sit inside after receiving your food and enjoy it while there. The restaurant was nice and they had that good ole gospel playing in the background. I would definitely recommend the Cajun Catfish!“

“Went here yesterday for the first time and was greatly delighted by the food. We ordered the NC *BBQ* sandwich, Cheese fries and the Soul Bowl. Exquisite Vegan Food and great customer service. Thank you for taking time to explain the menu and ingredients. I will definitely be back.“
