“This was our 3rd time here for dinner. The first time , 2 years go was exceptional.the food, atmosphere, and service were amazing. Last year we went and there were flies swarming our table. We ordered the osso bucco which is typically veal shank. This came as 2 tiny little pork ankles not veal, and was disappointing in taste. This year, we decided to go at Christmas to see the decorations. We ordered the burrata, and they brought us the shrimp appetizer. We sent it back and the server came back with it & said that we ordered it. Which we did not, instead of a confrontation, we kept it. It was delicious, but not what we ordered. The primo dish , we ordered the ravioli to share, it was very good. For or entree, we ordered the veal chop. It was chewy as if undercooked, soggy, as if it layed in its breadcrumb coating too long. For a $47.00 vealchop, it was a complete disappointment in taste and texture .as we went there specifically for the veal chop. After 3xs, the meals got worse instead of better. Our waiter was excellent, it’s too bad., but the food has gone downhill. We are Italian and are always looking for a great Italian meal. This was not!”

“On 7/6/2024 Saturday at approximately 11:15 p.m. I took my guest to dinner at Carolina Ale House located at 11685 Northpark Drive, Wake Forest, North Carolina 27587. I went to the restroom and saw the restroom was filthy with water all over the floor and sinks, along with toilet tissue on the floor in the stalls. When I finished using the restroom I reported the filth issue and requested to speak to the manager. The manager was a female of dark color, standing about 5 ft. 5 in. tall, came while I sat with my guest. I told the manager the restroom was atrocious with water all over the floor, which splashed on the back of my leg walking to the stall, and that it was a lawsuit waiting to happen. (Slip and fall hazard) The manager responded saying " I went in the restroom, it was fine, and no water got on me", making the issue about herself instead of the public safety. I said "no establishment would ever consider those conditions acceptable, especially with that amount of water on the floor". The manager rolled her eyes and said "well it's fine, it's been cleaned up". My guest then went to use the restroom and returned asking the manager "how is it that you consider that restroom okay, especially when there is a lady in there using a squeegee for all of that water on the floor?". Displaying annoyance, the manager stated "we don't have time to serve people and clean". My guest and I then asked the manager to understand that due to the stereotypes about African Americans in management, she should have a higher standard for herself and her establishment. But as an excuse to dismiss the complaint, the manager began yelling at my guest stating that the race card was being used, and then she walked away. I asked the manager her name and she said "you don't need to know my name". I stated to the female bartender that I'd stop coming to this restaurant because twice I had an issue with my salmon, a bug in my food, and that I'd only came tonight to get my guest something to eat, since it was the only place open after 11:00 p.m. close to where I lived. And as I spoke to the female bartender, I saw that manager at the far right of the bar angrily looking at my guest and I as she spoke to several of her coworkers. Then as me and my guest discussed our menu options, the male bartender came and told us the manager told him to refuse our meal and tell us to leave. After my guest and I left, I'd returned to retrieve my phone charger plugged up at the bar and to use the restroom, and saw that the restroom was still in the deplorable condition that I'd reported earlier. I decided to take pictures and a video recording of the restroom. Then shortly after, that female manager came into the restroom, two large security men with her, and told me that I had to leave. Good customer service practices generally encourage transparency and accountability, which includes providing the manager's name if asked. Refusing to give a name might reflect poorly on the establishment's commitment to customer service and might be seen as unprofessional. This manager's lack of concern, low standard and dismissive attitude toward myself, my guest, and public safety in the Carolina Ale House restaurant, completely shows that she is not management material. Unfortunately, it also reflects poorly on the establishments' commitment to customer service and taints the Moshakos family name, owner of the LM Restaurants, Inc. Furthermore, due to that ordeal, I will not recommend any person to Carolina Ale House.”

With a very relaxed vibe, great service, and a true local feel – the drinks were the real treat. “I’ve been going to WFCC for 10 years now. They are a favorite of mine. I’ve taken dates here, family and friends, anybody from out of town; it is a must-visit ! The baristas are very kind, friendly, and helpful. So much so, I’ve come to grow acquainted with some employees over the years. They do a loyalty program, and all they need is your # or email address. They offer many different flavors, so you’ll never grow tired of their options. Also the most affordable iced latte I can find, all while being the best! If you want a recommendation of different coffees to try, I do a white chocolate macadamia nut cold brew with a splash of almond milk. Or! A honey vanilla iced latte with oat milk. The options are endless (:”

Service was good, but they got busy right after we entered and they only had 2 servers so it was a bit of a wait to get our check and and to request a few items after the food came, but the server(we didn't catch her name, darn it!) was very accommodating and didn't pester us like some restaurants. She also made sure everything was good before we left and was very sweet. The hostess/manager(I presume) was very nice and also refilled my soup to-go. We had the fried dumplings, which were perfectly crispy! I had the Japchae and my wife had the Budae Jjigae. The Japchae had way more meat than other Korean restaurants we've to in Cary and the Budae Jjigae had so much meat it was insane! Good Friends Soju, peach is always a good choice and the Terra beer they offer is a decent import and good price for the size. Fyi, the photo of Bao Buns on Google maps is 4 years old and they no longer carry that item. Could be previous owners? Anyway, don't second guess it. Eat here. Amazing!!!!”

“I planned a special outing for tea service here for a small group of kids. The owner was very communicative via email helping me understand what to expect, and planning our food selection. The staff on hand were phenomenal. They made each of the kids, including the 3 and 4 year old, feel like an important patron. They were patient as the older kids figured out what was an option for them. I was worried we’d be an inconvenience as a group of kids, but they genuinely made us feel like they were delighted to have us. The food was delicious, the tea selection was good, and the tea good. The lattes we had were great. It was an incredible experience and new for all of us. I plan to return for a full adult tea service, and highly recommend this place if you have kids who want the tea party experience.”

Last time our request for a dish to be mild was missed and tonight, that same dish was inedible. Tough, strings of meat throughout (see image). There was more spit out than made in to our bellies and this dish isn’t cheap but If it’s a quality issue, I’d rather pay a few bucks more but I’m inclined to think it’s an overcooking issue. Thank goodness for the delicious crab Rangoon and please don’t change those.”

“Don't eat at the one in Fayetteville. The location used to be Fabe's and that was great. The locations for Alpaca in Sanford and Raleigh are great, too, but I got food from the one in Fayetteville the other day and was so disappointed. The chicken was not nearly as flavorful as it should have been and the green sauce was like that as well. It was just sad. I suppose I should have guessed based on the two staff members running the counter. They looked and acted like they wanted to be anywhere else.”

“Since moving to Wake Forest a month ago I've been trying to support locally owned places to eat and shop rather then going with the big chains. Leave Starbucks behind and support an awesome local coffee shop.

Amazing coffee from growers that are fairly compensated for their work. Coffee that is roasted locally and correctly by coffee roasting experts. By far this is the best coffee I've found in the area. You can take the experience home by buying a bag of beans. This coffee is not the cheapest but the quality is easily tasted and worth every penny.

The atmosphere is awesome and great for meeting with friends or working away from the office. No overpowering music or loud noises here! Just a nice selection of music that compliments that atmosphere and not overpowers it.

The food is limited as the focus is on the coffee here. However they have small selection of muffins and filled croissants choose from.

The staff is always pleasant and ready to help but don't try to upsell you on some sugary specialty drink - they all know how to make a great cup of black coffee via their pour over if that's what you like (drip is available as well and always well brewed).

Black and White has become my new third place and office away from the office.”

Thay said, you have a very limited amount of locations these days as there is only 1 within an hours drive of me and we are the 3rd largest growing area in the U.S., here I the capital city of Raleigh, NC..

I used to go to your Falls of Neuse location but it closed a while back and then I found the Wake Forest location.. I actually live in Durham and drove all the way to Wake Forest to remain a loyal customer.

That said, you used to have Styrofoam cups which kept my smoothie icy and frosty for hours (I used to buy the largest sizes as meal replacements for my fasting days)..

Now they come in plastic cups and by the time I drove 40 minutes home, my smoothie is just a semi-cool juice since it's not longer smoothie consistency.

I have started going to Tropical Amoothoe which is 1.5 miles from my house, STILL uses Styrofoam cups, AND my smoothie could sit on the counter, my desk, or my living room table for hours without losing that icy, frosted consistency.

I will say you have some better whole fruit and vegetable ingredients but you also don't carry avocado which is a huge item at Tropical Smoothie.. I usually get a 24oz smoothie with whole avacado, spinach, kale, kiwi, strawberry, blueberry, and pineapple. 0 added sugars or sweetners, added collagen, chia seeds, and pea protein powder, which costs about $8. 30 grams of protein and 20 grams of fiber!!!

Again, I do lime most of your ingredients better but the shelf life of the smoothie is absolutely, and I hate to say this... EXTREMELY lackluster and could I say, trash?

I love you guys and your teams but you 120% need to go back to using Styrofoam instead of that shat Plastic.. PLEASE!!!!!

Do note that at this store you have to BRING YOUR PIZZA HOME, to COOK IT yourself. It's the whole point of the "Take 'N' Bake" experience.. People who leave bad reviews are usually Karens/Kyles who can't read a damn sign. The people here are lovely and I haven't had to wait longer than 10 minutes even when there was a crowd.

“This has been our go to location for years. The staff is always friendly. Good is great. How we, for the last year or so, every time I order here they forget an entree or something. They are super friendly about correcting the issue when I come back. Just check your food before you drive home!”

“First time here. Prices are good. My food was ready when I got there. My one meal I turned into two. My fried rice was a bit dry and my General Tso was sweet. I did not take pictures. It tasted good but not what I had expected. It looked appetizing as well.
Though I understand they are take out only, the front of the restaurant looks like a storage room. I think they need to view the front from a customers perspective.”

“Normally, yes, but tonight was horrible!. It took over an hour to get our food; the pizza was terrible — was supposed to be half plain cheese and The other had lots of veggies on it. Over a 3rd of it had the veggies- way more than half, so my kids were very disappointed as they only like cheese. Pizza was very sloppy also. My salad was also incorrect - it came with things on it I specified that should not be on there. They clearly were rushing. I will not order again on a Saturday evening! Very disappointed.”

“I am a “regular - regular”. A ‘Coffee, Regular’ in Dunkin’ Dounuts! That is 4 sugars and 4 creams in a Large hot Coffee. AND train your ‘newbies’ Do Not put my Boston Cream doughnut ‘icing down’ in the bag!!!”

“My family and I recently celebrated my June birthday at Mellow Mushroom in Wake Forest. The entire staff was friendly, every person we passed spoke to us, and our server Lilly was an absolute delight. We had wings, cheese pizza, a calzone, and a gluten free Kosmic Karma that were all of exceptional quality. Lilly even surprised me with a (free!) birthday pretzel in the shape of a flower because I mentioned how my father and I love lillies and flowers after she introduced herself. That was incredibly thoughtful and it honestly made my day. My dad wasn't half way through lunch and was making plans to return for his own birthday.. in April.. but I'm willing to bet we make it back to see you guys before then! Thank you Lilly and thank you Mellow Mushroom! ❤️ 🍄 🍕”

“Went in and ordered to go. Food was delicious as always and service was great! We got the hibachi steak, which we had never tried, but it was so good! Will definitely get it again. We also got 2 teriyaki chicken, one with rice and one with noodles, both very good.”
