“Delicious food, great atmosphere, & friendly staff. We enjoy trying new items each time we go- some of our favorites so far are the chicken biryani, fish curry, mango chicken curry, & garlic “naan”. So happy to have this gem in Wake Forest!”

“This was our 3rd time here for dinner. The first time , 2 years go was exceptional.the food, atmosphere, and service were amazing. Last year we went and there were flies swarming our table. We ordered the osso bucco which is typically veal shank. This came as 2 tiny little pork ankles not veal, and was disappointing in taste. This year, we decided to go at Christmas to see the decorations. We ordered the burrata, and they brought us the shrimp appetizer. We sent it back and the server came back with it & said that we ordered it. Which we did not, instead of a confrontation, we kept it. It was delicious, but not what we ordered. The primo dish , we ordered the ravioli to share, it was very good. For or entree, we ordered the veal chop. It was chewy as if undercooked, soggy, as if it layed in its breadcrumb coating too long. For a $47.00 vealchop, it was a complete disappointment in taste and texture .as we went there specifically for the veal chop. After 3xs, the meals got worse instead of better. Our waiter was excellent, it’s too bad., but the food has gone downhill. We are Italian and are always looking for a great Italian meal. This was not!”

“On 7/6/2024 Saturday at approximately 11:15 p.m. I took my guest to dinner at Carolina Ale House located at 11685 Northpark Drive, Wake Forest, North Carolina 27587. I went to the restroom and saw the restroom was filthy with water all over the floor and sinks, along with toilet tissue on the floor in the stalls. When I finished using the restroom I reported the filth issue and requested to speak to the manager. The manager was a female of dark color, standing about 5 ft. 5 in. tall, came while I sat with my guest. I told the manager the restroom was atrocious with water all over the floor, which splashed on the back of my leg walking to the stall, and that it was a lawsuit waiting to happen. (Slip and fall hazard) The manager responded saying " I went in the restroom, it was fine, and no water got on me", making the issue about herself instead of the public safety. I said "no establishment would ever consider those conditions acceptable, especially with that amount of water on the floor". The manager rolled her eyes and said "well it's fine, it's been cleaned up". My guest then went to use the restroom and returned asking the manager "how is it that you consider that restroom okay, especially when there is a lady in there using a squeegee for all of that water on the floor?". Displaying annoyance, the manager stated "we don't have time to serve people and clean". My guest and I then asked the manager to understand that due to the stereotypes about African Americans in management, she should have a higher standard for herself and her establishment. But as an excuse to dismiss the complaint, the manager began yelling at my guest stating that the race card was being used, and then she walked away. I asked the manager her name and she said "you don't need to know my name". I stated to the female bartender that I'd stop coming to this restaurant because twice I had an issue with my salmon, a bug in my food, and that I'd only came tonight to get my guest something to eat, since it was the only place open after 11:00 p.m. close to where I lived. And as I spoke to the female bartender, I saw that manager at the far right of the bar angrily looking at my guest and I as she spoke to several of her coworkers. Then as me and my guest discussed our menu options, the male bartender came and told us the manager told him to refuse our meal and tell us to leave. After my guest and I left, I'd returned to retrieve my phone charger plugged up at the bar and to use the restroom, and saw that the restroom was still in the deplorable condition that I'd reported earlier. I decided to take pictures and a video recording of the restroom. Then shortly after, that female manager came into the restroom, two large security men with her, and told me that I had to leave. Good customer service practices generally encourage transparency and accountability, which includes providing the manager's name if asked. Refusing to give a name might reflect poorly on the establishment's commitment to customer service and might be seen as unprofessional. This manager's lack of concern, low standard and dismissive attitude toward myself, my guest, and public safety in the Carolina Ale House restaurant, completely shows that she is not management material. Unfortunately, it also reflects poorly on the establishments' commitment to customer service and taints the Moshakos family name, owner of the LM Restaurants, Inc. Furthermore, due to that ordeal, I will not recommend any person to Carolina Ale House.”

Heritage Grille and Wine Barrel is a rare find that nails both elegance and comfort—can’t wait to come back!”

“We dined outdoors. It was really nice however we come here frequently the service was good for it to had been so busy but the food was not good tonight . Maybe they were tired since we got there a little before 8 and they close at 9 however we went there a similar time and had much better food I asked for medium well steak and it was beyond well done and the Mac and cheese was not hitting. The bacon wrapped scallops were good and my pineapple martini was watered down bad . I will be back next year and hopefully the experience will be like I am used to”

“While visiting family members in Wake Forest and Rolesville, we all went out for dinner at TDLLO Shushi and Ramen. The meal was delicious and having a server (Cayleigh) that was knowledgeable of the menu and recommending certain dishes was helpful. She engaged with the kids and didn't rush us. She was very patient since our party was large. She was also attentive and kept coming back and checking on us. It was definitely a pleasure having Cayleigh as our server and hopefully on my next visit, my family members and I will get Cayleigh again.”

“I had an amazing experience at Norse Brewing! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a great Viking-inspired aesthetic that sets it apart from other breweries. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making great recommendations based on my tastes. The beer selection is fantastic—every brew I tried was top-notch, but the Mjölnir Stout and Ragnar’s Red Ale were absolute standouts. “Since moving to Wake Forest a month ago I've been trying to support locally owned places to eat and shop rather then going with the big chains. Leave Starbucks behind and support an awesome local coffee shop.

Amazing coffee from growers that are fairly compensated for their work. Coffee that is roasted locally and correctly by coffee roasting experts. By far this is the best coffee I've found in the area. You can take the experience home by buying a bag of beans. This coffee is not the cheapest but the quality is easily tasted and worth every penny.

The atmosphere is awesome and great for meeting with friends or working away from the office. No overpowering music or loud noises here! Just a nice selection of music that compliments that atmosphere and not overpowers it.

The food is limited as the focus is on the coffee here. However they have small selection of muffins and filled croissants choose from.

The staff is always pleasant and ready to help but don't try to upsell you on some sugary specialty drink - they all know how to make a great cup of black coffee via their pour over if that's what you like (drip is available as well and always well brewed).

Black and White has become my new third place and office away from the office.”

The locations for Alpaca in Sanford and Raleigh are great, too, but I got food from the one in Fayetteville the other day and was so disappointed. I suppose I should have guessed based on the two staff members running the counter. They looked and acted like they wanted to be anywhere else.”

Thay said, you have a very limited amount of locations these days as there is only 1 within an hours drive of me and we are the 3rd largest growing area in the U.S., here I the capital city of Raleigh, NC..

I used to go to your Falls of Neuse location but it closed a while back and then I found the Wake Forest location.. I actually live in Durham and drove all the way to Wake Forest to remain a loyal customer.

That said, you used to have Styrofoam cups which kept my smoothie icy and frosty for hours (I used to buy the largest sizes as meal replacements for my fasting days)..

Now they come in plastic cups and by the time I drove 40 minutes home, my smoothie is just a semi-cool juice since it's not longer smoothie consistency.

I have started going to Tropical Amoothoe which is 1.5 miles from my house, STILL uses Styrofoam cups, AND my smoothie could sit on the counter, my desk, or my living room table for hours without losing that icy, frosted consistency.

I will say you have some better whole fruit and vegetable ingredients but you also don't carry avocado which is a huge item at Tropical Smoothie.. I usually get a 24oz smoothie with whole avacado, spinach, kale, kiwi, strawberry, blueberry, and pineapple. 0 added sugars or sweetners, added collagen, chia seeds, and pea protein powder, which costs about $8. 30 grams of protein and 20 grams of fiber!!!

Again, I do lime most of your ingredients better but the shelf life of the smoothie is absolutely, and I hate to say this... EXTREMELY lackluster and could I say, trash?

I love you guys and your teams but you 120% need to go back to using Styrofoam instead of that shat Plastic.. PLEASE!!!!!

Do note that at this store you have to BRING YOUR PIZZA HOME, to COOK IT yourself. It's the whole point of the "Take 'N' Bake" experience.. People who leave bad reviews are usually Karens/Kyles who can't read a damn sign. The people here are lovely and I haven't had to wait longer than 10 minutes even when there was a crowd.

“This has been our go to location for years. The staff is always friendly. Good is great. How we, for the last year or so, every time I order here they forget an entree or something. They are super friendly about correcting the issue when I come back. Just check your food before you drive home!”

“Delicious dinner! We ordered general tso chicken, the hibachi chicken and veggies, and the chicken and soba noodles. Didn’t care for the chicken soba though, but the rest made up for it, 100%!! The only thing I would suggest is a kids menu! A whole plate of chicken hibachi is a lot for a 4 year old 😂”

“First time here. Prices are good. My food was ready when I got there. My one meal I turned into two. My fried rice was a bit dry and my General Tso was sweet. I did not take pictures. It tasted good but not what I had expected. It looked appetizing as well.
Though I understand they are take out only, the front of the restaurant looks like a storage room. I think they need to view the front from a customers perspective.”

“Normally, yes, but tonight was horrible!. It took over an hour to get our food; the pizza was terrible — was supposed to be half plain cheese and The other had lots of veggies on it. Over a 3rd of it had the veggies- way more than half, so my kids were very disappointed as they only like cheese. Pizza was very sloppy also. My salad was also incorrect - it came with things on it I specified that should not be on there. They clearly were rushing. I will not order again on a Saturday evening! Very disappointed.”

“This was a random dinner selection and WOW! What a wonderful treat! We did the BOGO sushi rolls - Tempura 2 and Crunchy Special - some of the best sushi rolls we’ve ever had (and they were huge, we did not finish all of it). We also split some crab wontons (yummy) and the teriyaki chicken with white rice. It was all so so good, we also didn’t finish the teriyaki chicken and have some tasty leftovers. And then, at the last minute I saw the Thai Coconut Cake on the dessert menu… oh. My. Goodness. Talk about HEAVEN in cake form - this is some of the best cake I have ever had in my life and requested my wife get me one for my next birthday. It was thick, rich, not overwhelmingly coconut-y (if there was any downside to the cake it would be that, but my wife who doesn’t like coconut enjoyed it too!), and just incredible. I 100000% percent recommend Sushi Siam!! They had tons of other things on the menu that sounded delicious that we will be trying next time we go, and our server was very very sweet and super friendly. All around great spot!”
