“Not terrible. I had the surf and turf with filet and lobster tail. It was not terrible lobster, but it was a little tough which was surprising given the location and the about $80 that the plate costed. The steak was a little better but could have used more flavor. Over-all not bad, but the plate should have been more at a $45 price point relative to its quality. I would say keep the higher price and improve the plate.“

“Arrived right on time for a 6 o'clock reservation on a Saturday evening. We were seated promptly and had our cocktail order taken immediately. I had some version of a Manhattan that was very well-made and my wife had the Amethyst Amor'e, also very well done. We started with a cheeseboard, which was very generous, lots of cheese, bread, honey, and candied walnuts. We also tried their deviled egg, very tasty... My wife had the beets and the mussels, which she enjoyed thoroughly. I had their version of the chicken pie, which had some unusual flavors. I'm not quite sure what it was, but it was very good as well. our server, I wish I could remember her name, was very attentive, timing of her visits to our table or perfect. The pacing of when food was delivered, was just as one would hope. Altogether our bill was about $180 not including tip. All in all a really nice experience, given the somewhat limited menu options I'm not sure how soon we'll be back, but I would certainly recommend this restaurant.“

“Ate lunch with friends on drive home from Logan on our way back home from London. Our first meal back from London is a tough one. The food was fantastic. Had a nice window table with a view of the sparkly water. There was a vent blowing cold air underneath our table, but fortunately the server provided a small mat to cover it up. The cocktails were en pointe and well balanced - not too sweet which we appreciated. Even though we are all seafood lovers, two of the stars of the meal were the buffalo cauliflower ( great sauces and nicely fried- not greasy or soggy) and believe it or not, my daughter’s grilled chicken caesar was also really nicely done on all fronts. We all loved the haddock reuben ( again many nice touches- great cook on the fish, delicious sauces). I already mentioned the drinks. Cocktails were awesome ( we tried 3 different ones from the menu). My chief and probably only complaint would have to be the wine pours. I am spending top dollar on quality food at a respected restaurant- please give me a glass of wine. We spent over 300$ at your establishment, don’t serve me a splash of wine. Rather insulting. Everything else was wonderful. Kitchen staff are doing it right and our server Sierra was great. Bar program - don’t serve skimpy wine pours.“

“A great find! Everyone was very friendly, the food was delicious, and beautiful ocean views from the restaurant windows. Our waitress, Melissa, was super friendly and very attentive. The prices were very reasonable as well. We will definitely be back!“

“From the minute you walk into The Franklin you feel the warmth of the space. The servers are knowledgeable and friendly. We ate everything and it was flippin amazing - I took my sister and her husband here and his eyes lit up when he caught site of the selection of oysters! He still talks about The Franklin and makes me take him there every time they are in town.“

“I've eaten here, twice, and tasted 6 different items off the menu. Its simply fantastic! The pan seared cod is the best I've ever had. A delicate crispy edge made every bite a treat. The mussels were great, the Greek fisherman's stew, the ravioli,, the wood fired chicken, all fantastic. The beef carpaccio was an interesting treat, uncommon on a menu. Raw prime beef tenderloin, that I rather enjoyed. Our server, Natasha, was excellent!If you are a home chef, that routinely makes restaurant quality food(or better)? This is where you want to go. The skill in the kitchen is on a whole 'nother level.Price reflects the quality of your food. $$ very well spent. Its definitely the kind of place where you want to have an appetizer. Everything is so good, you'll want one, and portion size allows the extra goodness.I read that the chef won best in NH. For my experience, its painstakingly obvious why. Some of the best food I've had, paired with excellent service. I'm going to try everything on the menu. I'm certain the level of care in preparation is reflected throughout the entire menu. If finely prepared food is your thing? You need to try Tino's. They may easily become my all time favorite. Its that good.“

“I haven't had a full 5 star experience at a place in a while. This is a restaurant but honestly it felt like so much more than a simple place to sit and be served food. John and Susan, the owners, were great to chat with. The space was decorated with a great vibe. The food was absolutely spectacular with unexpected flavors that were delicious. “Great restaurant! First thing I noticed is the happiness of the employees o thing but smiles. Everyone working helped each other and they seemed to be a team who enjoys working with each other because of that our service was impeccable. From drinks to the food everything was delicious. We started with fried calamari cooked perfectly, we had warm rolls served with soft butter ,roasted garlic and olives. We ordered the salmon and monk fish both cooked with so much flavor and the presentation was beautiful. “I stopped in with some family on a drizzly November Saturday evening. Because it was off-season, and likely due to the weather, we were seated immediately, but I imagine that there would probably be a long wait to be seated during peak season. The menu is pretty standard American/New England dining fare. We ordered a bunch of different menu items, but I think the one that stood out to us all was the peanut-crusted chicken wings. Everything else was fine. It's really all about the location when dining here, anyways. You are quite literally across the street from the beach. It's worth dining here for the beautiful views. The staff is very attentive and on top of it. Several different staff members checked on our table regularly to see if we needed anything. Stones Throw was definitely worth the stop.“

“We are locals and look forward to Rays opening up in the spring. We went for a late lunch a week after their seasonal opening on an unexpectedly nice day. We were fortunate to not have to deal with a busy place at the time that we went and we got a booth overlooking the ocean. It's a gorgeous view where we watched early spring surfers and the waves roll in. Rays is very clean and has a pretty extensive menu with both delicious fried seafood and yummy baked dishes. We split an order of steamers which were some of the better ones we've had in the area. My husband had a medium order of haddock bites and he really enjoyed them while I had one of my favs, a tuna melt which was not greasy and was very tasty, with fries that were cooked just right. Our waitperson was friendly and appropriately attentive. Rays is not fancy, with paper plates and menus for placemats but if you're hankering for fresh seafood (they catch their own) you should definitely try Rays.“

“First of all, what a cool spot! Santiago's is one the most cozy bars I've been to. I ordered a few of the tacos in different varieties and they were awesome. You can taste the freshness. Amazing flavor, cooked perfectly...had to save the spicy shrimp taco for my wife. She loved it. The Margarita was smooth and unique. They don't use sour mix and you can feel the difference. Just go there and you will be delighted too.“

“We went to Bob's the other day for lunch and was surprised when we went to pay for the our clams and scallops basket 69.75. It was good but it's not worth going for lunch at that price. Last year for the same basket we paid 50.00. a lot of French fries in both baskets and scallops and calms scattered on top. For some reason I cannot add photos.“

This family-run restaurant serves solid seafood fare, including sandwiches, lunch baskets, burgers, and whole lobsters.Since I wanted something light, as we had a planned big dinner, my eye caught the two mini fried fish tacos: fresh haddock bites in flour tortillas with Baja slaw, cheddar cheese, and house salsa.When the tacos came, they were huge; I almost didn't finish them. (The term "mini" is not entirely accurate.) They were prepared fresh, filling, and flavorful. I enjoyed them together with a glass of house Rosé.We finished our lunch with their famous homemade Maine blueberry pie, which was so delicious. As their saying goes, “One nibble on the Nubble, and you’re hooked.”The staff was friendly and helpful, especially in explaining their extensive menu. “Love this place, great Thai food with extremely friendly people working here. Big fan of their duck and beef noodle soups, they also have a special one going so check for that on FB page. Usually get drunken noodles also if even to eat next day. The appetizer platter is great as well. Also the Para garden is awesome if you like peanut sauce. Curries are very good as well.
