“Hands down one of the best Avacodo toasts I have ever enjoyed! Complete with 15 aged balsamic drizzle. Very good with with food allergies as well! The kitchen and staff are all trained! Safe place to dine with a milk and tree nut allergy in my opinion!Dietary restrictions: To restaurant chain is VERY well versed when it comes to food allergies ! From kitchen to wait staff! Always been safe with my milk and tree nut allergy!Parking: On busy dinner hours from 6-8pm parking is difficult.“
“10/10, we got there 15 minutes late due to heavy rain, no problem at all! My babe booked the 5 course meal in a private wine cellar (it’s only 1 down the basement) very romantic w/rose petals and candle lights, I’m vegan and the chef really threw it down in the kitchen just for me :-) very happy about that, you have to pay in advance and beverages aren’t included, will definitely go back.“
“The chicken was so tender and delicious that I really wanted 3 more helpings but went for the amazing butterscotch pudding dessert! The Brussel sprouts were crispy and deliciously tossed in balsamic vinegar reduction. The pasta was served perfectly al dente which ever sauce you chose. The pomodoro sauce was just superb! It was just a little tight but otherwise the atmosphere was great as was the staff!!Parking: Best to park in the lot just off of 3rd and Bainbridge as trying to find a spot on the street is near impossible. The lot was convenient and close by, less than a block away. $15 for as long as you want on Saturday or Sunday or weeknight after 5pm. Worth it for the impeccable cuisine!!“
“My wife and I dined at Osteria for a special occasion and the experience did not disappoint. From the moment we entered the door to the end of our meal we felt welcome and cared for. Our meals were exquisite. This is easily my favorite restaurant in the city now. Bravo to the Osteria team, Chef, and the host Kyle. We’ll definitely be back!“
“We were there Saturday night and loved the ambience and hospitality. We ordered appetizers, entrees and dessert and I loved their entree and dessert. I and my husband are vegetarian and they were able to suggest us few options with no meat. Linguine Fra Diavolo and Vegan Orecchiette Pasta were so yummy. We tried tiramisu and dessert of the day (something with Pistachio) both were amazing. They even have opera performances every 20-30 minutes.Vegetarian options: Server was well aware of what dishes can be made vegetarian and vegan options are clearly specified on the menu“
“My in-laws were in the town, and we booked a table for 4. Even though they were a little late to the reservation, the restaurant made no problem. (They were not happy with it for sure, but they did not make us feel uncomfortable about it. So do not be late still)Fantastic food and a delicious menu. Everything is authentic Italian style cooked. We love it!Decoration needs to be updated but gives old italian vibe, no complaint. Our favorite thing was how our server, Micheal, improved our night. He was quick, careful, professional, and very friendly. He checked on us without needing him—excellent, outstanding professionalism. We love every second of it. We will be back! Special thanks to Micheal.“
“Very nice experience, great food! It's a farm to table experience with the best quality ingredients. The blue cheese encrusted steak and lobster risotto were amazing.Parking: If you are planning after dinner to go to the movie theater, drive around the outside to park on that side. If the mall closes you cannot walk back thru to your car.“
“Cute spot for a drink and bite to eat. We loved the thin crust on the pizza, the cheese and fried onion on the soup, and the pasta. The drinks here are lovely too! We have had drinks at the bar and dinner at a table, and both were positive experiences. One thing to note is that the place can get fairly crowded and feel a little claustrophobic. However, if you are used to restaurants in NYC, you will feel right at home.“
“My fiancé and I were visiting Philly and luckily found this gem. When we called to make a reservation the manager, Jennifer, took care of us and provided possibly the best over-the-phone customer service we ever experienced. The food was excellent including the bread, and the drinks were clearly made with love. We came in for dinner and had such a great time we ended up coming back at the end of the night for drinks at the bar. We can't stop raving about Barcelona and will definitely be returning next time we're in Philly.“
“I have only good things to say about this place. I thought at first it was a little odd to have steak tartar served with fries but the pairing was actually really good! Everything was amazing. I have never had such a complex gnocci dish and it's probably the best I've ever had. The scallops were perfect. Mussels, snails... all of it. Everything was just amazing; I cannot stress that enough. I can't wait to go back!“
“Stopped in from out of town. This is exactly the coffee shop you're looking for. Quick and informative service. Roasts and pulls well executed. Food was super delicious with a full spectrum of options and flavors over an uncomplicated menu.“
“Staff super eclectic and friendly!!! Food creative and totally fresh and tasty. Loud. Doesn't bother us but be ready for it. Had an awesome Stout from Colorado. For C.C. prices were reasonable. They add 20% tip even for a couple... We will go back!“
“We had a great experience at Tulip! I want to come back every time they rotate the menu to try the new dishes. Our waitress told us about the family style option (forget exactly what it was called but it was $55 per person), so we went with that so that we could taste a bunch of dishes. Best gnocchi I’ve ever had. And the food didn’t feel heavy, which was nice. We loved sitting at the bar and watching the chefs, who were not only skilled, but also kind, which made the whole experience even more special. Thank you!“
“This place has the best cozy vibe in the winter. Perfect for a date night, especially if you're celebrating something. I loved the tasting menu. Everything was delicious and felt very fancy. The cocktails were also delicious and our server was amazing. The only qualm I have is that it was pretty pricey.“
“"Small plates" that actually aren't so small, small menu but which is expansive in flavors, and perfectly curated drink menu. Staff were welcoming and charming. When you dine here before dark, the sunlight beautifully illuminates this window-filled intimate space--such a lovely feeling. We particularly enjoyed the eggplant stewed in spicy tomatoes served with g thick cut toasted sourdough bread, the slow-cooked cod with fancy beans, and the grilled squash with brown butter--that sauce was a spiritual experience!“
“Versi Vino's concept reminds me of a former Spanish tapas bar, Bar Ferdinand, my husband and I used to patronize in Northern Liberties that no longer exists. Everything was outstanding from the excellent service provided by our server, Devon, to the wonderful wine, cocktails and food. I will return. Highly recommend“
“Visiting Philadelphia over Easter. Ended up at Prunella Sunday afternoon. The Honey Fitzgerald cocktail was amazing! Ordered the Caesar salad which was a great surprise to the tastebuds, and the pizza was just so damn delicious. The service and atmosphere was perfect. Had dinner the previous evening at The Capital Grille, but I enjoyed Prunella for the casual feel and experience we had. Prunella will be first on my list when visiting Philadelphia next. I just loved everything about it!“
“I’m really on the fence with this review. The service and ambience were great. It’s a trendy little neighborhood bar with good music and good people. Three draft beers with common names and off we were to our table. The beer is brewed offsite but it’s Meeting’s beer: love that. However, the food left much to be desired. The bread and butter were good, fries were done right but the clams and Turkey BLT…meh. The clams were so chewy…I mean like, super chewy and I could not cut into it with my teeth. I had one: full stop. Now ordering a Turkey BLT, one should not expect the moon but since there’s about 7 - 8 things on the menu I would hope that each dish is done to near-perfection. It was not. It was essentially basic. Did I eat everything save for the clams? Yes. Would I go back? For sure. The service, people and beer are worth another pass. And I’ll definitely try another dish but I won’t go hungry. Live music would definitely draw me back in!“
“Had a great time here. Gabby was super welcoming and friendly. I have to admit, I was intimidated walking into a steakhouse of this caliber, but gabby made it so so so much better. I loved spending time with her. I wish my wife would spend time with her. Gabby is so great :).“
“I hosted my 30th birthday at Jet back in November 2023. The service was extraordinary. From the start, communication with Jet was timely, helpful, and easy. Emily, the manager, was a delight to work with and even made little menus for my guests. The bar packages were extremely reasonable and I was allowed to bring in my own decor and birthday cake. We selected the drink package with a signature drink and the red wine mule was DELICIOUS. The snacks were a hit and everyone really enjoyed the drink options. Adam, our bartender for the night, was so friendly and helpful! I can't say enough about how wonderful Jet is, and I'm so glad we have such a great local spot close-by.My husband and I are also members of the wine club at Jet and they have such a fun wine selection and newsletter. Jet regularly hosts creative events and are such a benefit to the neighborhood.“
“Great little spot with an eclectic wine selection and solid small plates. Sitting outside of Fishtown Social with a glass of wine is a perfect way to spend an afternoon in the neighborhood. Hopefully all the construction doesn't crush your vibe though. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly and can usually point you in the right direction if you aren't the biggest wine drinker. Bonus points here when they have oysters. Check it out and enjoy.“
“This restaurant is one of the best I've been to. The food, the service & the ambiance is top notch. Every visit I've made to Fleming's for dinner has never been a disappointment. You get quality food, quality service, premium cocktails & a clean calm atmospere while “
“Great place. Outstanding avant garde selection of records to purchase paired with a cafe, bar, and live music venue. Incredibly friendly barkeep who only added to the experience. Stop in to listen to a rotating selection of vinyl records whilst having a pint of local beer. Or just have a coffee. Wonderful space which deserves a hat tip.“
“The romance of it all! The candlelight! The seasonal cocktails! The frosted coupes! And tapas style dishes that will make you want to try everything on the menu! The best damn crudo in town. I will die on this French hill. Go here when you want a well curated and tasteful escape or to have an intimate convo with a dear friend.“
“Love the atmosphere here, it's lovely Great for coffee or tea Love getting a glass of wine or cocktail with friends in the PM Breakfast offerings need to be more extensive Dinner menu changed and not for the better Friend and I were just there and enjoyed the atmosphere and wine/cocktail but there was absolutely nothing we wanted to eat for dinner on the menu“
“Bloomsday brunch is supreme. I got a vanilla oat milk latte and it came out creamy and delicious. Our server brought the days fresh baked pastries out in a display basket that screamed delicious. Finally the food was high quality and seasoned well. My mushroom sandwich really was friggin delicious. Our server was really sweet and attentive. Will be back ASAP!“
“I'll start with the good, since it outweighs the bad.First time at The Chophouse. I've been wanting to check it out since forever and finally got a chance over the weekend. We made reservations and were seated within minutes. The restaurant is beautiful with views of a lake - very nice for special occasions. The entire staff, from the valet attendants, hostesses, bartenders up to the wait staff are top-notch. Our waitress was Jen and she was excellent, attentive and personable. So far so good.I chose the 14oz. dry-aged steak because it was a special occasion and I had never had it before. I read that dry-aging makes the meat tender and very flavorable.Well, they got the flavorable part right. But tender it was not. In fact I'd say it was one of the toughest steaks I've ever had. I needed to slice it into thin strips just to chew it. Very disappointed. Also, know in advance that the steak doesnt come with any sides. Luckily I ordered the lyonnaise potatoes, which are basically home fries, and werent cooked completely - some were crunchy. My wife's scallop dish tasted delicious, as was our appetizer. My smoked old-fashioned was very good, as were the wines and beers.I will give The Chophouse another chance but I won't be ordering the dry-aged steak again. A shame.“
“First time back at this spot since they re-opened. Service was excellent and employees were friendlyA double cheeseburger w/fries, and a plain club soda cost me over $30 (pre-tax and tip) that's a bit crazy even in this day and age. When asked if I wanted fries with my $22 burger I didn't expect it to be an additional $6 charge... That said the food was good just felt it was overpriced for what it is.“
“Had to check out this new spot while visiting Philly and am so glad we did! We reserved for couch seating before the required minimum fees start at 10.Service: initially very attentive but as the place got busier the drinks sometimes took awhile. Not a big deal. It was a little weird sometimes when 1 or 2 drinks would come and not the rest or the order but I know they were just trying to get them out.Drinks: we didn’t get any food so can’t comment but cocktails were decent. I wouldn’t say amazing but pretty good and I liked them.Music: two guys sang cover song hits from the late 90s to now. They really tried to rally everyone. They were ok singers and would take singing breaks occasionally and then dj music for awhile. They were fun and entertaining.Vibes: Its a fun place! Good for celebrations, and a friends night out or date night. There were a few bday groups, then some girls who work there come out with sparks, lights, and signs to announce the bday. Theres bar length seating, a bunch of high tables, and about 7 couch areas. When we went I think all the tables had been reserved and there were still some bar seats open. Then there’s a dance space by the stage. It’s a smaller place than I thought it would be but I think it makes it classier in a way. Its nicer inside than I anticipated because I was thinking more Austin style live music venue.I will definitely go back the next time Im in Philly and look forward to seeing new musicians/ singers. Getting couch seating was everything! With a group its key to reserve one.“
“Second time coming here because the vibes are relaxed and cute surroundings! Had some amazing orange wine with baked Brie, galettes and creme brûlée. Everything was amazing and I can’t wait to come back for more! Our server Sam was an absolute gem as well and took great care of us. 10/10 will be back for their wine selection, service, and small plates.“
“My partner and I went on a weekday around 9:00 pm and there was a crowd because the place was great! Delicious appetizers, and great wine tower options, and the main meals were decent. I love the personality of the place, feels very homey yet high-end. Our server was very polite and ensured everything was to our liking, it was only her 2nd day and she seemed like a pro. Of course, the only negative is the location makes it difficult to find parking, so we uber to this place. The price was reasonable, pastas between $27-34, entrees between $28-45, cocktails $16, and wine flights/towers between $34,-44, It was not a decent price for 2 people.“
“Great quality of ingredients, travels well, and enjoyed the Brussels sprout white pie and sausage pie. The “crust” is very thick focaccia bread, which is a unique version of a pizza, and the sauce is kind of dolloped on - definitely not a standard pie. It feels more like a fancy and delish app that you’d share at restaurant rather than a pizza, but a good option none the less!“
“This place is amazing for great food and drinks..the service is also amazing.. they're very accommodating to your needs..Parking: There is a small lot on side of restaurant..can also park on street and across from restaurant on street..Wheelchair accessibility: Have a ramp..Dietary restrictions: They will cater to your allergies and also religious beliefs such as no pork..“
“It's definitely a top-notch restaurant, and I will consider this a fine dining experience, a very exquisite and delightful menu. From start to finish a great experience at this restaurant. Cons: Be prepared to spend a good amount of money from $100 to$500 depending on how many people are and what you get from the menu. But you're paying for 5 start restaurant. Food and service are impeccable ? thank everyone for this amazing culinary experience.“
