They Truly care about the restaurant, its legacy and there foodA very comfortable environment with 80's/90's country music playing and a homey feeling dining room. I felt like I went my cousins for dinner and coffee.Our waitress was one of the owners and helped me select some craft brews they offered. Very generous and appreciated.The Buffalo Wings are excellent. Cooked right and in a thinner sauce with a little zing but not overpowering.Our dinners were the Godfather Trio (Veal, Shrimp Parm and Eggplan Rollantini) and the 16oz Sizzling steak.The Italian Trio was a good portion and had a nice sauce, very filling and a very reasonable price.The Steak was better than some steakhouses and "higher-end" restaurants that like to charge $40-$60 for it.The steak was PERFECT! And for a price point under $30 is one of the best bargains you can find! Flavor was amazing and cooked expertly!We finished with coffee and the Chocolate Mousse Cake & Cheesecake. Well worth it and again; a price you can't beat.We even took home dinners for work the next day. It was that good.This is a Gem and a throw back to how things used to be and should be. We hosted a family feast here, we had music, great food and great enviornment.The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great, the people are wonderful! Sandra is such a nice person, she waited on us at our family feast, she was so loving and caring and really made sure to cater to us and made us feel at home. I’m reading the reviews about people complaining about them being pricey, but you are paying for quality. If you want high-quality Peruvian food, this is the place to go to.When my husband and I entered the restaurant, they greeted us and sat us down. They gave us a complimentary fish shot aka “caldo de pescado.” The shot was very delicious. It was not an alcoholic shot. It is a fish soup shot, but it reminds me a lot of the ceviche taste.My husband ordered the Pollo Saltado, and I ordered the shrimp chaufa and the classic ceviche “leche de Tigre” cocktail. I am Peruvian and know what ceviche should taste like. And the ceviche was by far the best ceviche I’ve ever had. If you are a ceviche fanatic like me, you need to try each one of them on a separate occasion. They have a variety of different ceviche dishes. My husband loved his Pollo Saltado. He really enjoyed the two hot sauces.I ordered the shrimp chaufa, and it had a lot of shrimp. It was delicious and I would like to try the other chaufas with different protein.I have tried the Trio Criollo and it’s my favorite dish. It’s has papa la huancaina, arroz verde, pollo a la brasa and ceviche. Get this! I highly recommend.Anyway, I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a very good choice.”
