“Have gotten takeout from Nocella’s three times now. Solid choice overall. Wings have been very good on two of three orders. Cheese pizza was very good on two occasions. Ribeye pizza was a huge hit the first order. This last order of seemed to be lacking some of the sweetness from the balsamic, but still well made. Chopped salad is a family favorite and meatballs are very good. This is definitely worth a try.“
“We were driving thru Haddonfield and happened upon this great place. What a neat concept they have. When you walk in, they give you a card. They have several food stations: Pizza, Pasta, Sandwiches, Salad, and Soup. You go to the station you want and give the attendant your card, you tell them what you want. They enter your meal on the card. You sit til your meal is ready. Go to the counter and pick it up. On your way out you give the cashier your card which shows everything you ordered, and you pay. This restaurant is family owned. Very nice decor, very clean, nice selections of meals, friendly and efficient staff. Prices weren’t too bad, I ordered chicken Marsala. I got two large pieces of chicken in Marsala sauce with mushrooms and 2 sides. There was plenty of food on the plate. I highly recommend.“

“True old world Italian cooking artistry. Opened in 1899 Dante and Luigi's is one of the oldest restaurants in Philadelphia PA. It is certainly the oldest Italian eatery in Philly. Cozy with well dressed wait staff and old world decor. The food tells the story here. I have eating there since college. I took my dates there when I was 18. I go for the food. Delicious is the keyword. Savory tomato sauces, tender meats and exquisite desserts if you have the room after eating your meal. On my recent visit I had pasta fagoli and a side of roasted peppers and provolone to start and their homemade lasagna for the main course. Everything was scrumptious. Even though I was bordering on I can't eat another bite I had the tiramisu for dessert. I couldn't resist. Dante and Luigi is easily my favorite Italian restaurant and a cut about the rest.“

I opted for a special of the day - pork pieces with skin still attached cooked in an amazing salsa verde, served with warm house-made tortillas, rice, and beans. So delicious eaten taco-style with a just-right hot sauce. My wife had a shrimp dish in mildly spicy tomato sauce and side salad, also delicious. We started with the house-made guacamole which was outstanding, along with fresh in-house tortilla chips. BYOB meant we enjoyed the meal with our own beers. Ordered the Caesar salad which was a great surprise to the tastebuds, and the pizza was just so damn delicious. The service and atmosphere was perfect. Had dinner the previous evening at The Capital Grille, but I enjoyed Prunella for the casual feel and experience we had. Prunella will be first on my list when visiting Philadelphia next.
