“Great food ad the atmosphere!“

“This Italian restaurant has been one of my favorite ones since we found it last year. The first time we impressed by their Godfather music during our dinner time. Along with its ambiance setting, it's perfect for our dinners. We loved every bite of each course with tender and steak juice. Definitely a must go back.“

The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“Excellent inventive Italian dishes. The servers were friendly and very attentive, without being obtrusive. The only quibble is the decibel level. It's not the worst, but not the best. Otherwise, it's a cozy atmosphere. Don't miss Michael's other restaurants in Charleston, SC.“

“This has been on my list for so long and happy to say it did not disappoint! Tried out the buccatini and carbonara, and the burratta salad. Salad was yummy, the ingredients were so fresh. I wish we got more of it! The pastas were also great, perfectly portioned and we were able to finish both of our dishes. We topped it off with orange blossom panna cottage cheese and salted chocolate cake, both exquisite. Chocolate cake was not too sweet, although it was kind of heavy after such a carb filled meal haha. Panna cotta on the other hand was so light. Loved it.“

“This authentic Italian food in a fun environment. The staff is friendly, all speaking Italian. The Pesto pasta and Torta Fritta were super yummy. It's a little slice of Italy in NYC. Highly recommend!

“Came here on a whim, and I couldn't be happier. The staff were very attentive, and we never had to go out of our way for service. The menu is expansive and full of delicious options. I went for the classic lasagna, and it was divine. Drinks are very strong, be sure to ask for happy hour options! After asking for the rest of my meal to go ( portions are quite generous!), my group opted to have dessert. I went with the Tiramasu, and this is hands down the best Tiramasu I've ever had. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by!“

She was also helpful in pacing the meal and brought out plates so the table wasn’t over crowded. We never felt rushed and always felt welcomed.“

He also went above and beyond to make sure the sauce for the suckling pig dish I chose didn't use any beef due to my allergy. Unfortunately, it did and we had to pick something else ? But whyyy if it's a pork dish? I really wanted to try that dish. Everything else was tasty, and flavors were perfectly balanced. Just a few notes... A bit too much fennel on the salmon dish, the striped bass was a tiny bit over cooked, maybe make the skin crispy to take away the "fishy" taste to level up the dish a bit and the hazelnut dessert had way too much cream overpowering the chocolate and other flavors. Will certainly be back to try out other things.“

They also have a wonderful grocery store across the street that sells the best guanciale and pancetta, very high-quality dried pasta, espresso drinks, and decadent sandwiches.“

“This was my second time to Corto. This time I sat at the Pasta Bar. There are two seats at the bar overlooking where the chef sees the food off. Everything was so good. We started with the meat and cheese plate which also had pickled blueberries, cherry tomatoes and some sort of pepper. Then I had ricotta ravioli in a brown butter safe sauce with mushrooms, so good and they gave me a piece of bread at the end so that I could soak up all that yummy butter sauce. My husband had the Ossobucco which melted in your mouth. For dessert I had the lemon cheesecake with a blackberry sauce. This was the lightest, smoothest cheesecake I've ever had. 5 stars all around.“

“This place is so good. The lasagna is clearly fresh and home made. Everything we had was excellent and the people running it clearly care about the experience and were super nice. It’s intimate and cool. Can’t recommend enough. We ate there two nights in a row and loved both.“
