“My friend and I had such a delightful time for dinner tonight at Soothr! We started with piping hot Hoi Johr, plump little crab and pork dumplings wrapped in crispy soy skin.Absolute standout dishes were the Roasted Eggplant Salad (zippy flavors, comforting, and amazing with the fried egg and crispy shallots on top) and Koong Karee (luscious shrimp curry with white rice). You need to order those!!!We also ordered the Duck Noodles after hearing the hype, and they were tasty. Unfortunately, it was a tough act to follow after the Koong Karee. The duck was super tender and juicy but we ended up twirling the remaining noodles in the karee sauce. It was that good, we didn’t want to waste a drop.Ended with the mango sundae, which was perfectly refreshing and satisfying. Our waiter PJ was amazing — you’re in good hands if you ask him advice on ordering. He provided excellent service and always kept our water glasses full. Thank you, PJ! We will be back again soon!“
“my favorite place in chinatown to get fish balls and rice rolls, or any quick snack. i always make sure to stop by when i get the chance. very good food. also the owners are extremely kind and friendly. very good people. will definitely recommend to others.“
“It's just an ordinary Japanese udon restaurant. If you don't make a reservation, you will have to wait before opening to get in right away, otherwise you may have to wait a long time. It seems to be popular because the atmosphere is clean and cozy.“
“We had an outstanding experience at Rosella last night. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch. Our server James was engaging and got us out of our comfort zone by surprising us with most of the dishes we were served. My husband who is not a sushi fan is now a sushi fan. We can’t wait to come back!“
“The spot for Taiwanese food in NYC. The pics speak for the menu itself. Every dish has its own spice or flavor to it. They also offer ample drinks selection - with my fave being the one that features the Joe? Strongly recommend booking in advance bc you’ll need hefty luck to get a walk-in “
“We had such a great time here. First time ever at momofuku. We had The slow roasted pork bun and smoked chicken wings. Oh my God it was amazing. Not my favorite Ramen ever but very very good. There were no bad dishes. Get there early for seating!“
“Delicious and reasonably priced food. We went on Saturday at 6pm. You have to scan a code to be put on a wait list. This is very convenient because once scanned, you can see your progress in line. Initially, we were told we had a 20 minute wait, but we were seated only after 10 minutes. Service was quick and efficient. I think someone posted that the food came out a little too quickly. However, that worked for us because we had an 8pm show to get to anyways. We never felt rushed at all. For $100, we enjoyed 2 orders of pork soup dumplings, 1 order of pan fried pork dumplings, the sautéed bok choy, vegetable spring rolls, shumai, beef udon noodles, 2 beers, and 2 soft drinks. The food was fresh and very tasty. We will be back!“
“The food we had here was really great! Even though we appreciated the waitstaff for informing us of the ongoing happy hour, we felt rushed throughout our dining experience. There seemed to be a lack of proper pacing with our orders, which made us feel that we had to order quickly. These were minor issues, and despite it all we still provided a suitable tip.The waitress, however, upon noticing the tip came back to our table to ask if everything was ok. She mentioned that the tip we provided was below the amount suggested on the credit card machine. In my opinion at least, I don't think this was a proper way of seeking feedback (if that was even the intention). I would suggest that management finds other ways - perhaps a follow up email with a brief survey. Trying to have us explain why we gave the tip we gave doesn't seem like best practice, especially right after a meal. Keep in mind, the tip was not on the low end either.“
“It's delicious and good, but the staff opens the lid of the dumpling steamer on the table without permission to quickly retrieve the bowl. The customers who ate it were surprised. We didn't like that, so we opened the lid a little even if the dumplings cooled down a little.“
“Ordered the spicy salmon ramen and takoyaki. The ramen was really good with a rich broth but it wasn't spicy at all and started to taste a bit salty at the end. I wouldn't recommend the takoyaki because the portions are very small with a single piece of octopus in it for 10 dollars. Otherwise a great experience! + the servers were super nice“
“BEST THAI FOOD i’ve had hands down!! Reservations are a must; this is a michelin rated restaurant so it’s super packed. The food was absolutely flavorful and delicious; with so many food options. The hoi ob ( mussels in spicy thai herb broth) was to DIE FOR it was so good. Also ordered the krapow pla which was the branzino fish in sauce and it was delicious i could really taste all the flavors. The red curry was also a great choice too. Overall one of the best experiences i’ve had i would most definitely recommend this spot and i will be coming back.“
“Generally I give the total five star to this restaurant considering its flavor, service and environment. The steamed pot chicken soup is super good I will definitely choose this every time, on top of that I like sugar cake and highly recommend it. Besides, tomato beef soup, Dai style stir fried beef are also nice to try.“
“Great Ramen! We started with the fried chicken that was delicious but realistically did not need caviar. We got the wagyu ramen which was outstanding and the perfectly seasoned, if you want, you can absolutely eat just the ramen and be fully satisfied.Overall great experience and will return again!“
“It was a Sunday early evening and we didn't know where to go. We wanted to try a new place out and wandered here. We've wanted to try this place and decided that day we would try it out.Everything was good! From the drinks, to the food and the ambience. Good vibes all around.(Seen Photos section for pictures)“
“Came here for brunch on a Sunday - reservations are needed as they don’t accept walk in (there are only 12 seats). The service was great, as was the food. The fish was cooked perfectly and the side vegetables/miso soup was delicious. We got both a regular ($30)and a large set ($38). Personally, I don’t think the 2 extra side vegetables were worth the $8 difference. However, all in all, it was a pleasant meal and I would recommend it.“
“This place is dope, I highly recommend. My KHAO SOI CHIANG MAI** Beef (Drunken Noodles) was fireeeeee with the Thai spicy as I requested and I enjoyed it.My friend had a roster duck and veggies and that was delicioussssssss.I’ll definitely go back! Keep it up folks ????❤️“
“The food was delicious!!!! A friend told me that it would be very spicy, but I didn’t find it to be so. (Definitely had a zip to it but not too extreme) Service was attentive and pleasant. The only downside was the seating. The chairs were more like elementary school short stools. Quite uncomfortable, but I’d definitely go back just for the food!“
“The best thing about the restaurant is the old lady that owns the restaurant! Absolutely! Adorable and soo sweet! The beef noodle dish was so5 stars for 5 seasons1. Owner is sweet! Sweetest old lady you’ll ever meet!2. Beef noodle dish was perfection! Super flavorful, noodle texture perfect! Beef was so tender!3. Price was amazing!4. Fast service! Super!5. Location was good! Not the best!“
“I'm just in shock with this place. We went without reservation and they told us we could wait approx 1 hour but at the end, we decided to wait and they gave us a table in 10 minutes. The staff was super nice, very attentive, and the food was Jesus Christ, with a lot of flavor, really delicious, we only ordered 2 dishes because we weren't super hungry, but the dessert and all of them 10/10. I'm really excited to be back and try the others. (:“
“Sixteen-year-old daughter picked Ichiran out. There was a bit of a line/wait out on the sidewalk, but the friendly staff kept us moving.Once inside, the staff explained how to order from the touch screens and explained what happens when we got inside. The ramen we had was very tasty. Wife had no spice, my daughter had mild, and I had spice level 3 (plenty spicy and the scale went to at least 10). The macha pudding was super smooth and tasty.“
“Come in for a delicious Thai meal! The large windows and light color walls give you a sense of relaxation and comfort. The food is superb! The calamari were crunchy and not extremely chewy, pairing well with the sauce. The braised beef was soft and tender, easily melting in the mouth. The salad and soup are flavorful, with just the right amount of herbs and spices. The dishes can be shared amongst others, which I recommend doing so you can try a bit of everything!“
“Super friendly staff who were willing to accommodate 4 of us + a baby for a weeknight dinner. Food was amazing and drinks were even better.Kid-friendliness: Baby was allowed to sit in high chair at chefs bar, but I heard the hostess tell another parent that they couldn’t accommodate high chairs at the regular tables (maybe because of walking room reasons?)“
“Great prices for delicious food. I see why Guy Fieri has come here three times. The noodles are perfectly imperfect and the flavors are spot on. The only questionable thing about the place is that the duck is served bone-in which brought down my wife's enjoyment of her dish“
“Food 9/10Gas deal. Crazy that I paid like 10 bucks for a massive plate of pork, duck, and chicken with veggies all over rice. Could not finish it but ate as much as I could and it was so so so worth it. Would definitely return to try their wonton soup next time. Easy place to go when you’re hungry and also have plenty of space for individual diners. Their hot tea was also very nice.Atmosphere 7/10Standard and simple cheap eats restaurant vibes.Service 10/10Great service. Bro was a g gave me an extra refill of the tea I very much appreciate!!“
“The perfect hole in the wall!Once you find the door to get in, heavenly flavors for a reasonably priced bowl of noodle soup await. Favorites are the pork rib and chicken katzu. Of course it’s still winter and those hit the spot. What will happen in summer is a different question. To be continued. Happily.“
“One of the best ramen I ever had. They serve cold noodles with pork and lemon and in another bowl hot chicken and fish broth. You have to squeeze lemon on the noodles and then dip them in the hot broth.Result is an amazing flavour explosion. Will recommend this place for sure“
“This was my first time here and absolutely loved it. It’s got a nice casual atmosphere, friendly servers, and large portions of great food. I started with the crispy spring rolls which were decent but it was the pho that really did it for me. These are some large bowls so you’re definitely getting value here. But they don’t sacrifice quality - the broth was super flavorful with perfectly cooked noodles and lots of tender meat. I usually get the pho my first time at a Vietnamese place but really want to come back to try their banh xeo which is pretty rare to find in NYC.“
“Superb beef noodle soup. Delicious broth and extremely tasty beef. I'm addicted and the best thing is it's just as good if you order it for delivery, because they separate the noodles and the vegetables from the broth, so that when you combine them it is hot and fresh as if it just came out of the kitchen.“
“as you can see — we really dug into the delicious food at nan xiang express. what a great find! after a long night of research and dancing we were grateful for what felt like an oasis in the vast williamsburg desert. the food was great and the atmosphere lent itself to great conversation. five stars — and if i could, six!“
“Pork buns are out of this world. Everyone loves the pineapple bun, it's good. But I prefer the regular pork buns, it's less sweet. The buns here are soooo chewy and soft. Even warmed up in the microwave, it still had the same great bite.“
“Well, my girl is Chineese, and she says it it authentic Chineese food, very spicy. She loved it..And if you see a lot of Asians eating in a Chineese restaurant. You know it's good..It's more of a take out, small seating area, not a full size restaurant.“
“Food was great and excellent customer service! Our order initially accidentally came with sesame seeds which we had asked to be removed due to an allergy. We called the restaurant and Luis who picked up sent us a replacement within 10 minutes! Very kind and accommodating “
“Easy to accidentally overlook this restaurant since the storefront looks like an old deli, but the man who runs the whole restaurant is a very good cook with a unique personality. I highly recommend the berry rice bowl and the kao soi noodle soup. Note, almost all his dishes are spicy but definitely worth going. One of my favorite spots in this city“
“I was not expecting to eat ramen while visiting Times Square, but I am SOOOO glad my wife and daughter dragged me in here. We had the mixed seaweed and power greens salad, then I had ramen soup. The service was excellent. We got happy hour Kirin and Sapporo. The food here gets my absolute highest rating. I Would Eat Until I Die food. If they kept bringing me bowls of their ramen, I would keep eating them until I exploded. My whole family similarly loved the food. We will be back every single time we come to the area.“
“A good option for cooked Japanese food in this area, especially for soba noodles! Cold or hot. They also serve udon noodles.Have visited a few times over the years, most recently for dinner on a cold night for some hot soba. Large variety of toppings - add on some appetizers too.A fan of the tempura and fried oysters. Pickled mackerel appetizer was very good (if you’re into that). Hot soba was satisfying - but the duck topping was just okay. Recommended.“
“Food is great! Tom kha could use more vegetables. There weren't mushrooms or tomatoes in mine. Only onions. But it tasted good. Veggie rolls were fine. A bit overdone, but for the price were okay. Overall liked the food. Had it via delivery, so it might be 5 stars in person.“
“The sushi and sashimi were amazing! The Tamago, miso soup and matcha iced tea were wonderful. And the staff here is fantastic! I asked to buy a cup to take as a souvenir for my son- who loves sushi - and they gave me one! Thank you all so much!“
“Bangklyn is without a doubt one of the tastiest and most unique restaurants in the city. The food is amazing and fresh, especially the fried chicken. The owner/cook/busboy is awesome and even though he won't say much, he is kind when he does talk and he works really hard to serve the customer. As for the decor, is it a thrift shop? Is it just decoration? It's difficult to tell, but either way it's cool. Highly recommend.“
“I’m addicted to eating these instant ramen noodles with the birria meat ?!! It was super delicious, noodles were cooked perfectly, and the meat was very savory, it also had a touch of spice to it, which made it even better ??!I also enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant it was very minimal and cute to eat alone or with friends. I met the owners of the restaurant and they were very kind and helpful when I came my first time ☺️“
“Very authentic and tasty soba noodle joint in East Village. Sobaya serves traditional soba noodle dishes and a few other appetizers plus rice dishes.I ordered the tempura hot soba since it was popular and it was my first time trying this restaurant. The dish came with 3 shrimp and 1 shishito tempura which was freshly fried and well portioned. The soup itself came with a lot of noodles and a hearty broth. The flavors tasted very traditional.Inside the cafe gives Japanese vibes and feels homey. Overall this spot is good if you’re looking for a nice and light dinner option.“
“Love this little gem of a place I found! Their dumpling soup is 5 stars. The dumplings are handmade, delicious and humongous! The broth is SOOOO good. I love how they sell you their handmade frozen dumplings for a great price. Just bought some today! This is going to be my new fav go to!“
“This is my favorite restaurant in Astoria. Vibe is relaxed and the food is AMAZING.I'm a huge fan of the sukhothai noodles, fried pork strips, and the goi neur (warning, they were NOT kidding about the spice).Love this place, I'm tempted to stop inside anytime I'm in the area!“
“So if you stop here definitely just be prepared to eat outside on the street. It’s small inside so know your order ahead of time. I read reviews and got the pork burger but I would say skip it. I wasn’t impressed at all and the bun is a thick sesame seed bun like a bagel. The pork and chive dumplings were delicious and worth the stop however you can get dumplings anywhere else nearby. The prices can’t be beat here! I will say you definitely get a lot for your money.“
“Absolutely fantastic sushi. Amazing quality and out of this world flavor. Staff was so friendly. I showed up exactly at open and they were so happy and accommodating. I usually find showing up at open is a visible nightmare for servers. This is my new favorite spot for sushi. And it’s very quick.“
“The real deal! Lived in Malaysia and Singapore for three years, and this is just like it, only better. Super-fresh, very filling, and really nice people. If you like spices, try the Laksa! If not, do the Peanut Noodles or the Singapore Noodles. Desserts are wonderful, hard-to-find Singapore specialties.Dietary restrictions: Good for gluten-free folks as most of the noodles are rice noodles! And I don’t think there’s any dairy at all…“
“Attention and friendly service. Spicy mala rice noodle soup is simply so delicious. The soup base was well seasoned with fresh sliced beef, lettuce , wood ears mushroom, sweet corns, tofu and half of egg cooked in perfection.A great spot for a quick bite and dishes are in very generous portions and very well priced considering the location.“
“Fantastic small Vietnamese restaurant, with great food, even better service and ok seating. For a small location, they made good use of their limited space and they communicate regularly if the food will be delayed. My only small complaint would be probably due to the kitchen being so close and the ventilation not being great, our clothes had the food smell afterwards but I won't take a star off since it wasn't too bad. I know their prices will go up eventually but their current price for their food quality is hard to beat.“
“Food is authentic. The waiters can be a bit abrasive. The portion of food is humongous! Prices are $12-$15 per plate. Very tiny place, and it's super warm down there. If you're claustrophobic, I wouldn't suggest this place! Lol!“
“I went to Chinatown with my family on my day off.Chinatown really is everywhere!I feel the power of China. The purpose this time is delicious xiaolongbao! ! !One of the most popular Chinese restaurants in NYI went to Joe’s Shanghai! Before 12:00 on Sunday.I went prepared to wait in line.I was able to enter the store easily! The store has a new and clean atmosphere✧First of all, let's start with Aoshima Beer. And of course the food is xiaolongbao! !Pork is $11.95 and crab is $13.95.Of course I ordered both ♫I feel happy just by being carried ♡:*The soup is juicy and delicious from the inside! ! !This kind of Asian food really suits my taste ♡:*We also have spring rolls ($3.95) andScallion Pancake ($6.95)Everything was delicious!I wanted to eat some noodles after this.I was already full so I gave up.The three of us drank beer and ate a lot for about $70 including tip!Cheap for eating out in NY! !However, this store is cash only! ! !There is an ATM at the entrancePlease note that credit cards cannot be used! ! !“
“My last visit was ok so I had no expectation this time. But it was surprisingly good! The spicy black bean noodle, spicy seafood noodle soup, & fried pork, everything was great. Only wish was if they served raw onions along with the pickled radish like other Korean Chinese restaurants.“
