“Outstanding experience! Steaks, Chicken Parm, Sides where amazing! The Vinyl Albums getting turned. Feel the hospitality from owner Kevin & wife Sophia & Staff! Just amazing! oh - the martini's and wine where amazing too!!!“
“The taste is very good, but it has a lot of meaty flavor, so people may like it or not.All the reviews said there was a lot of meat, so I ordered a T-bone steak, but it wasn't enough so I ended up eating a lamb steak as well (according to a man who is a big eater). The atmosphere is nice and the staff are all friendly, but both steaks were cooked poorly so I took off one star. When ordering the second steak, they even emphasized that it would be medium rare, but then they ordered it medium again, making what should have been a pleasant meal become ambiguous.“
“We were trying to find a great place to get a steak, but didn’t want to hit the major chain restaurant. Gallaghers hit the spot. The moment you walk through the door you can see into a meat pantry where all of their steaks are aging. The server recommended the Porterhouse for 3 as well as a ribeye. We took his recommendations. They were excellent. It was a ton of meat since the portions are very good, but we finished it all. My favorite of it all was the filet portion of the porterhouse. If I were to come back, I would probably order a bone-in filet instead. The lobster cocktail was a good appetizer, the onion rings are nice and sweet, and the wedge salad was good too.“
“Everyone of us has dined out for steak dinners but very few establishments remained consistent. This has been my fourth time dining here and it’s been the same since my first dining experience- consistent and attentive service! No matter the volume of service, club A dedicates their time and effort into making your dining experience exceptional.“
“It is worthy of being one of the must-visit steakhouses in New York, highly recommended!I made the reservation on Resy. It is recommended that you don’t have to wait for the reservation. However, you can cancel for free half an hour before the meal, so you must pay attention! The service staff are very polite and actively pay attention to the needs of the guests. They will also give appropriate suggestions to avoid ordering too much!I ordered the Steak for 2, which is suitable for three people. I also recommend the Slice bacon. If there are more people, I suggest you order it to share. If you don’t finish it, you can take it home. The quality after heating is almost delicious.“
“Absolutelly wonderful experience. Every single member of the staff is friendly, respectful and professional. The food is out of this planet, delicious, beautifully presented and served. The wine list is very interesting, diverse and extensive. 100% going back.“
“Food was delicious - especially the bread omg. Everything was al a carte. Came here straight from broadway- very close walking distance. Drinks were perfect and the staff was soo attentive.Vegetarian options: I’m vegetarian and are the Mac and cheese and broccoli side dishes. Other vegetarian options available“
“We noticed the queue outside and got curious. After a few minutes they give us a table. Both the venue and the environment are very beautiful. The staff welcomes us and brings us drinks. A nice and smiling gentleman arrives to explain to us that for 45 dollars each they will bring us a steak (EXCELLENT), and then we will have plenty of chips and salad. The food arrives with our requests fully satisfied. Friendly staff and price appropriate to the quality of the food. When I return to New York I will definitely go there“
“Great vibe. Absolutely LOVE the jazz trio. Food tasted great. Portions are quite small for the price, and the steak was very especially grizzly, unfortunately. Very attentive and well trained staff. Lots of push upselling drinks on the drinks, and they brought bottle water we had to pay for despite asking for tap 3 times. Wonderful wine and cocktails menu. Overall I would recommend for special occasions.“
“I celebrated my 60th birthday last night at Rocco's and what an amazing treat! From the restaurant manager who doesn't miss a single detail to the gentlemen servers who are all professionals with glowing personalities. We were provided with a dessert on the house so they could put a candle in it and sing to me. It was like listening to a well-trained Italian Quartet. The food was beyond reproach as were the drinks. I cannot wait to visit Rocco's again and would recommend to anyone in the area. The decor is wonderful and the attention from Vinny and his wonderful sense of humor only added to our wonderful evening.“
“I went to the grill with my fiancé and friends after he proposed to celebrate. It's truly an elevated dining experience that makes the night special. The women's restroom has a lounge with beautiful vanity mirrors. The pasta a la presse was a highlight of the night because it was delicious but also because it was prepared table side with an explanation of its origin. The bread for the table had a lot of variety and was delicious. For my entree I had the lobster which was beautiful and tasted divine. The baked Alaska is a must for dessert since it's set ablaze at the table! If you're having trouble making a reservation we were able to secure ours with the Dorsa app.“
“Our dinner at The Capital Grille was fantastic. The atmosphere was perfect...sophisticated, elegant, comfortable, and designed to accommodate pleasant conversation without having to raise one's voice to be heard. The staff were wonderful, patient, and caring in all areas...personal presentation, listening carefully, speaking in professionally-friendly tones, accommodating reasonable requests, delivering orders in an efficient manner and making the food visually attractive. One of our entrees was seafood and the other was beef. Both were made and delivered at the exactly correct temperature and level of "done-ness". The desserts were absolutely delicious as well. Our meals were perfect in taste and in volume. We celebrated a birthday at my table and the staff was generous in providing an unexpected and beautiful dessert made especially for our occasion. Our table consisted of good friends who hadn't seen each other in a long while, so our conversation was important to us. The staff respected our "space" and we never felt rushed or pressured. We were thrilled with the whole experience and felt that it was worth the price that we paid.“
“I just need to say. After I finished my excellent meal. I had a food high and craved a cigar and a Cognac. I got the preferred Cognac selection can't remember the exact name, but it was 225.00 for a glass. The best Cognac I ever had. I had an amazing food experience. Here are the pictures. By the way, I had the Meat Sushi for the appetizer and the Salmon for the Main. For the Table, we got the Tomahawk Steak medium rare, a dozen oysters, blooming onion, and crab legs oh I forgot I had a classic mojito in the beginning. ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU GO. IT'S WORTH EVERY EXPENSIVE DOLLAR. BON APPETIT.“
“Quality Food, Service and Ambience! If you want a Great tasting steak, cooked to perfection; You have to go here. Family friendly atmosphere. Whatever your preference, it’s all Good. Definitely a place you’ll wanna go back too. Can’t wait to go again!“
“Our family of four dined at the Outback Steakhouse in Rochelle Park, NJ this evening and had fantastic service. Our server, Jade-Noelle S. was outstanding as she managed a crowded area, with incredible demands from tables, seamlessly and with ease. Her attitude and great service made our experience even better.“
“4 Charles Prime Rib in NYC offers a luxurious dining experience that's sure to impress even the most discerning steak enthusiasts. From the moment you step inside, the elegant ambiance and attentive service set the stage for a memorable meal. I recently dined here on a date and indulged in their famed "Prime Rib," a succulent and perfectly cooked cut of meat that practically melts in your mouth. Additionally, we couldn't resist trying their burger. It was tough to secure a reservation.“
“I've eaten at the downtown Strip House many times over the years, but hadn't been back for a good 10 years due to life, COVID and what not. Finally had chance to go back and was happy to experience the same amazing strip steak that is the Strip House. Perfectly cooked medium rare with an amazing char and that black pepper bite. There are many excellent steakhouses and types of steaks that you can have everywhere, but the Strip House and their strip steak is one of a kind that you need to try at least once. If it's not to your taste, so be it, but for me, it's a wonderful steak that's a nice contrast to the different steak experiences at Lugers, Wolfgang's or the like.“
“Let's be honest, my bar was high for this restaurant not only for the fairly expensive price but also for the reputation attributed to this restaurant for decades.I was totally blown away by the unique taste of the filet mignon I ate, the flavors of the aged steak were unbeatable. This is definitely my best filet mignon ever. The succulent mushroom accompaniment.A must try once in your life for steak lovers.“
“This is the perfect hotel in the perfect location. Close to Times Square and Broadway, shopping and restaurants! The staff is amazing. All are friendly and helpful. Great food and drinks. The rooms are clean, comfortable and stylish. I’ve found my New York hotel!“
“Very classy interior, old fashioned atmosphere. A bit more expensive than I would be comfortable with. Appetizers and main course were amazing. I had tuna tartare and Jumbo Shrimp Scampi, my husband had New York Strip Steak. It was so good, so delicious! And we decided to order some deserts. It was a mistake though! My Apple Strudel was absolutely different from what I had expected. My husband had a Lemon Sorbet, which had not any test at all and was too icy, it had not a smoothie texture at all. So we had been really disappointed with desert.“
“A bit overpriced but much nicer than other restaurants. We had a lovely time and our waiter Tony was amazing. The steak we asked for was medium rare and it was a bit too cooked (more like medium to medium well, not red in the center anymore) but we hate to send steaks back as we know they simply throw those out. Otherwise, the taste and flavors were simply fantastic. Would visit again for an occasion!“
“We had the best experience at Bobby Van's! Our waiter, Paul, made our meal so memorable by offering outstanding menu suggestions, being incredibly attentive despite a packed restaurant, and keeping us entertained with his delightful personality. The meal was spot on: great wine, oysters on the half shell (incredible), Caesar salad, the porterhouse for two (wow!), sautéed mushrooms, cheesecake and after dinner drinks to top it off. We will definitely be back!“
“This place is top quality and food is delicious. The ribeye was probably the best I've tried - extremely soft and very flavorful. The ambience is beautiful and fancy. Service was great and waiters were knowledgeable. Prices were high but overall had a great experience and would come back!“
“Brick-walled institution in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn serving up spectacular steak and seafood. Incredible old world ambience and can’t say enough of their impeccable service. Overall just an incredible spot to dine in.St. Anselm is most famously known for their signature Angus Butcher’s Steak so if it’s your first visit, this is the absolute must on the menu.“
“This is the first time I’ve been to Outback in Edgewater, NJ. It’s actually the first time I’ve been to an Outback in any state since 2009. I am so glad I walked in on a whim. The host, waitress and runner were fantastic. Thank you Stephanie for a great evening.“
“I couldn't recommend this place more highly. Chef Itai is incredibly gifted and so welcoming. His dishes are absolutely delicious, so creative and such an inspiration to experience. The meals are designed with so much thought and sophisticated detail. I loved the shawarma bao buns, lamb cigars and the steak. The desserts (lava cake, churros, tiramisu, crumb cake, soufflé and ice cream) were to die for! I can't wait to go back - this is such a special place!“
“It’s been many years since my family and I visited the Secaucus location due to an extremely bad experience. Tonight we decided to give it another chance and I have to say that we’re glad we did. It looked like the location had a complete management/staff makeover and this new team was phenomenal! The food, service, atmosphere, and attentiveness were on point. Erica (the supervisor) and Dani (our server) were excellent! We noticed Erica running back and forth making sure everyone was seated comfortably, asking the customers if everything was good with the service/ food, she was even bringing out food to the tables..it seemed like she was doing 3 jobs at once and handled it like a champ. Dani was very attentive, she explained the menu (a few new items we inquired about) was quick with our order (and the food came out perfect) and she checked on us often (even though it was super busy). We love outback and I’m so glad we had a great experience tonight. We no longer have to travel to other further outback locations because we’re returning to the Secaucus one!“
“I’d have a difficult time believing there’s a better old school style steakhouse in New York. I was lucky enough to return here for dinner yesterday evening after not having been since the age of 16. Everything is just as I remembered. All staff were immensely pleasant, charismatic, and the perfect level of attentive. I opted to sit at the bar and ordered an impeccably balanced Boulevardier followed by a neat pour of Stagg (Jr.) bourbon. These were ideal pairings to the hashbrowns, asparagus, and medium rare sirloin that I ordered. The food was prepared to the perfect temperature and texture.Everything about this experience conveyed class, precision, and simplicity. Sparks proves that you don’t need to be the priciest or the flashiest to be the best.“
“I didn’t want the expensive price, like Keens and Johnnie’s, but still a good quality steak. I was able find Westside Steakhouse on trip adviser. Good quality steaks with out breaking the bank. I ordered a NY steak medium, it was cooked perfectly and I added crumble blue cheese for perfection. The mushroom risotto was moist and delicious. My son said that there Mac n Cheese one of the best he has eaten. The ambiance is great and the staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend this restaurant!“
“I had a reservation at Benjamin Prime location. On our way when we googled directions we ended up in-the original Benjamin. I didn’t realize there were 2 locations a block away. They canceled our other reservation. The good stuff::we sat at the bar waiting for a table. I ordered a drink I never had before on a recommendation and I didn’t like it. The bartender quickly offered to replace it. ( I was appreciative and tipped well) . Our table was ready and it was by the fireplace. It was perfect. We were only 2 so we couldn’t order too much. We shared the porterhouse for 2 and lobster & Mac & cheese. ( this location doesn’t have brussel sprouts) everything was wonderful. I think bread/ butter can be spruced up. Now for the special part. When I made the original reservation I did specify it was a birthday(65). I didn’t say anything to this new place and they brought out a crème brûlée and a bowl of whipped cream / candle ( they didn’t sing) lol. It was a wonderful place with great attention. I would highly recommend.“
“Emily was our server and she was beyond excellent! She gave us time and had suggestions. It felt like we knew her after only a few minutes. We started with a dozen oysters then We had the porterhouse for two and shelled king crab legsMelt in your mouth, eye rolling delicious!Parking: There was no parking. Valet was ideal“
“Absolutely delicious food and good value for money. The bife de chorizo and filet both came cooked as ordered and were fabulous, like I have eaten in Buenos Aires. Accompanying salads and potatoes great too. Dulce de leche pancakes are a must order. The Balcarce cake dessert was over the top good. Excellent wine selection and good espresso. Super attentive service. Don't let the location on otherwise ugly Tonnelle Avenue fool you. This is a Hudson County gem.“
“I came here on a Thursday afternoon around 4pm for happy hour, sat at the bar. The bartender Jose was absolutely amazing! Personality and hospitality was out this world! The drinks? Top tier! I normally go to the other location, but I will be coming here from now on ???“
“The start was quite bumpy. But first of all, the ambience. Everything is very nicely done, but you have the feeling of sitting in a large ballroom. A lot could be done better with appropriate interior design. Our waiter was very polite but still very inexperienced. Our order of wine was a bit overwhelming for the young gentleman, as was the question of a sommelier. By the way, this is a real weak point of the restaurant: there is no sommelier. There is also a relatively simple wine list that only differentiates according to grape variety. It becomes a bit difficult as a wine connoisseur if all you see in the blends is the name of the winery and the wine. Very weak, especially when you also have wines worth over $500 on the menu. Nobody could really help. So thanks to the manager we tried the open wines. But a sommelier would actually be mandatory in a restaurant like this.So it took over 30 minutes before we were able to order something. And to be honest, we thought about leaving without eating here. The food came out of the kitchen quickly. And it was worth staying here. The salad as well as the raviolo for starters were excellent. The two steaks afterwards were perfectly prepared and tasted very good. Perfectly balanced roasted flavors without overpowering the meat taste. The cooking level was perfect. The dessert was just as good as everything before it.Would I go again? To be honest, I'm torn about this. On the one hand, the food was excellent, but on the other hand, the service still needs to be worked on until it is at the level it should be. Plus the missing sommelier. I also like to drink expensive red wine with my steak, but that is simply not possible here because there is no one who can really give good advice. And if I'm lucky, I don't want to order a bottle of wine for $200 plus.“
“Last night, my family and I visited the Roots Steakhouse, Ridgewood location to celebrate a special birthday occasion. We were greeted with impeccable service from our server, who catered to our needs flawlessly. The cuisine, as always, was simply delightful. While enjoying our meal, a small mishap occurred where a drink was accidentally spilled onto the floor, splashing onto my sports coat. The server promptly expressed sincere apologies and notified their supervisor. To our surprise, Larry, the general manager, personally approached our table to offer his sincere apologies and assistance. Despite my reassurances that accidents happen, Larry insisted on arranging for the dry cleaning of my coat and even offered to deliver it to my home. Although I declined his kind offer, Larry ensured that I could submit the dry cleaning bill for reimbursement. As we concluded our meal, we were pleasantly surprised when Larry sent over an assortment of complimentary desserts from the menu. His professionalism and genuine care during this incident were truly commendable. This review is not intended to critique the staff but to express heartfelt gratitude to Larry and his team for their exceptional handling of an unfortunate situation.“
“I visited Amber Steakhouse for the first time two weeks ago, and I returned with Ashley P for my second visit. We were both hungry, thirsty, and in the mood for a fabulous meal. We ordered two 8oz Filet Mignon's, and two side's of vegetables. The Filet's were absolutely delicious. They were tender, tasty, and the Bordelais sauce was delectable. We shared a Creme Brulee for dessert, and it was a very tasty. Two glasses of Pinot Noir enhanced the experience. The bill was a bit steep, but most definitely worth it. We will back sooner than later.“
“The steak is a cut above. The seafood platter was balanced, it is a platter not a tower. The spinach with slivers of garlic and the mushrooms were excellent. The truffle butter was lovely. The table next to us had a vegan and a vegetarian. The waiter selected items for them carefully and respectfully. They ended up with an excellent meal. The best steak I have had in Soho, and not a chain.Vegetarian options: There are multiple vegetarian pasta courses, salads, and appetizers.“
“Great filet mignon - waiter said it comes with string bean but nothing on the side just steak with truffle sauce. Was a hearty portion and cooked perfectly. Not cheap expect to pay 70+ just for steak but quality was perfect. Wines weren’t that expensive. I’d go back to try their prime rib. In comparison Ruth Chris charges a little less for steak but upsells the wines.“
“We ate there two Shabbats in the last month.Excellent foodExcellent service .Ephraim the owner is there and takes care of everyone.Reasonable price for a very good Saturday night dinner(New prices are expensive). In short, delicious, nice and worth every dollar.with appetite“
“Fantastic Night at American Cut (Especially the Service!) I had an incredible return visit to American Cut! Everything was on point this evening. The star of the show was our waiter, Russ. He provided fantastic recommendations for both cocktails and wine pairings. We also indulged in some phenomenal appetizers, with the smoked wagyu and steak tartar being true standouts. Our entrees were equally impressive, particularly the porterhouse, tomahawk, wagyu, and the decadent mac and cheese. Even though my guests and I trekked down from uptown, the experience was absolutely worth it. The entire evening was amazing, and a big shoutout goes to the manager, Joey. The ambiance was also perfect for a client dinner or night out with great friends. Finally, major kudos to Adona, the hostess, who always greets us with warmth and exceptional hospitality - a true lifesaver after a long day.“
“Wonderful experience on a Friday evening steak was cooked perfectly but under seasoned IMHO side of creamed spinach perfect a bit stoic on second floor in regard to ambiance lower level bar much more fun waiter Sal was best I have encountered in years“
“I have to be honest, I didn't know this place existed! My boyfriend surprised me with a birthday dinner here back in January and I forgot to review it. I have to be honest, riding up the escalator, you'd think you're going to Per Se, my boyfriend immediately shut that down (?).We had pleasant evening, with a great table by the window overlooking the outside NYC streets. Every steakhouse we've gone to, we've ordered the same things: a martini, whiskey neat, caesar salad, porterhouse or tomahawk and 1-2 sides.I also got a surprise slice of birthday cake, thank you!(See Photos section for pictures)“
“Love the food, the ambiance, the service and the attention to details. Born and raised in Rome, I am very finicky about food:At prime 259, I always get perfectly cooked "al dente" pasta.Cacio e Pepe, amatriciana, puttanesca are my favorites dishes.Best in Bergen County for sure. A walking distance from my office it makes my lunch and happy hour, very happy indeed.Reasonable prices, great people and, very important to me: CLASS! Sophisticated and friendly!“
“The food is tasty. The atmosphere reminds me of me of the old fashion steakhouse. The chef is personable. The wait staff is great. Ask for John, for top notch service. The prices are compatible. It's a great place for family dinner, friend gathering, or date night. .“
“Absolutely loved this place! Went for a birthday, but even on a regular day, they really know how to make the entire experience an unforgettable one and make you feel special.Food is amazing, service is elite, and the atmosphere will leave a lasting impression on you long after you've finished your dessert!“
“I first time went to this restaurant, and it was awesome! The place had a great vibe, the service was top-notch, and the food was seriously delicious. Every dish had this perfect mix of flavors that just blew my mind. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience, definitely check out this spot.“
“Porter house 10/10 Hazelnut ice cream 10/10 Exp 10/10 Service 10/10 Absolutely amazing food and ambience. If you really a steak lover, that porter house is best steak in town for sure. Been to a lot of restaurants but food, if you want to be well fed, this is a top choice. Thank you about amazing experience. :)“

“Good food...just needs to be a bigger spot...for the amount of people that come...Vegetarian options: Needs more vegetarian options for appetizers.Parking: Street parking where you can find it.Wheelchair accessibility: No room really for wheelchair...its a tight space.“
“Excellent experience here! From welcoming us to our table through dessert, great attentive service. Cocktails were well made and their red sangria is always a great idea! Try the Boulevardie Negoni. Packs a slight punch and refreshing. Our appetizers were the grilled octopus and shrimp in garlic sauce - both excellent! For dinner, I had a huge swordfish steak, lightly blackened and grilled perfectly. My wife had the stuffed lobster, and our friends had paella - loaded with seafood. Dessert choices were several cake selections, chocolate mousse and flan. Finished off with Segovia coffee (adds "43" Quarenta y Tres cordial liquor) and all was great! Many thanks to Manny and the staff at Segovia Steak and Seafood!“
