“Looking for pancakes and other breakfast dishes, I ordered several items for takeout from this place. The food took a reasonable 20 minutes to prepare for pickup and was ready by the time I arrived. I sampled a bite of a few dishes - pancakes and omelettes were up to my expectations. However, my actual order, the Wrangler skillet, was quite a disappointment. It was heavily loaded with bacon, but without a generous portion of potatoes as a starch (there were some, just not enough), the dish was quite salty even for my taste. So I don't think my skillet was prepared badly, just that the recipe needs to be rethought. If I come back here again, I'll try a different dish.“

“Loved this hidden gem! We stumbled upon this once when we were craving authentic Italian, which seems to be rare in Manhattan nowadays. Chef and his wife are so nice and comes around to your table to make sure you’re taken care of. Great cozy atmosphere, definitely a must try. Lasagna and bolognese were so good. “This place is pretty cool and the service was amazing. We did have to wait a little before getting helped bc each group pretty much gets a little history of where the place started, and there's only one person who speak to the customers. The ice cream seems to be high quality and the cones are made to order! I personally don't prefer the cone texture, even though they're fresh they're still a little dense. But I'd def come back and get a cup with a smaller portion of the cone.“

But overall the avocado and the eggs were good enough for a 4⭐, and I think the two things that helped to push it over the edge to 5⭐ were the bread and the pickled peppers. In particular the pickled peppers added a little bit of sweetness and a little kick. “Stopped by this hidden gem with my mom this Saturday. We were greeted by very attentive servers and a beautiful space. The food was absolutely delicious and presented so nicely. We ordered the avocado toast and built our own savory crepe. Among all of the fun drinks they had to offer, I ordered the Icy Bear Latte it was delicious and adorable. We are definitely adding this to our brunch list in Bergen County, and are looking forward to our next visit!“

“I don't ever really write reviews, but after today's visit I wanted to share. I have been going to Cafe Turkey since they first opened, the food is very yummy, fresh, the service is amazing. Today I went there at 9PM, after a long day at work. They were getting ready to close, no one was there but they opened the back area for me to have dinner, turned on the heat, let me take my time to eat didn't rush me, AG was very welcoming and so kind to check if I needed anything and let me stay after they close for the day. I’ve been a true fan of this restaurant ever since I’ve moved up to Bloomfield a few years ago and I always bring my friends and family to this restaurant. Whether it’s Brunch or dinner, the food never disappoints! Hence why I thought it was a good idea to ask for them to cater for my bday! Anthony and his team were very accommodating and brought out the rest of trays as the previous ones started emptying out which I greatly appreciated due to the lack of space we were given at the venue. We ordered the chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, broccoli rabe, mixed greens salad, Mac and cheese, chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta vodka, meatballs and potato croquettes. All dishes were excellent and everyone was excited to pack the leftovers home as well! I also ordered catering from here back in February for my galentines party and the food was also a success during that time. “I have wanted to visit the Sweets & Cafe Bakery for a long time. It is a few blocks away from my dentist, and I finally had the opportunity to visit last Friday, March 8, 2024. The service was excellent, and the two staff people who took and served my order were very professional, friendly and helpful. The cafe con leche was MUY DELICIOSO, and the ocho with guava and cream was also very tasty. The place was so clean, and the bathroom was also very clean and well-stocked, too. I look forward to returning as soon as I can.“

“Was in NY for 9 days last year. My lodging was around the corner and found Frisson on Yelp. It's a funky little espresso heaven! I echo then multiply what other 5-star reviewers say about the staff, the coffee and the beautiful latte art. Once discovered it was an every morning destination. The best cappucino I've had in my life was at a neighborhood bodega in Rome for a few successive mornings several years ago and Frisson's is neck and neck. Grace is always so kind and patient to customers who go in, was unsure of what to get yet she was so kind to explain the items the café provided. “Our group headed into NYC for our usual Christmas visit and happened upon Tartinery Cafe in Olympic Tower when we were looking for a place to sit after Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral and before the Christmas Show started. We were very happy with our service as well - David could not have been more accommodating, friendly and helpful. The place has a charming ambiance, albeit small with limited seating - one table and two sets on the window bar inside, and three tables outside.I opted for Claire’s BEC for breakfast, and it was a delightful choice - delicious and satisfying. However, my experience with the cappuccino was not as impressive. The overcooked milk resulted in a cappuccino that lacked the creamy texture and flavor profile that I was expecting.Despite the mixed coffee experience, the service at Claire’s Kitchen Cafe was friendly and pleasant. While I may not return specifically for the coffee, I would consider revisiting for the food.“

“I was back in my hometown for a short trip and wanted to work remote from a cafe. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled across Marimba Cafe - the new name caught my eye and the aesthetics and offerings here solidified my decision. I don't think I've ever come across a sit down Latin cafe here in Bergen County so to me, since moving away, it's the first of its kind. Also first of its kind to proudly offer CBD infused menu items. I believe they just opened in November! The vibes in here are immaculate. My favorite feature is the stone floor - it just transports you somewhere new! The color scheme in here is also appealing, and the Latin music made me want to dance while I took on meetings haha. Overall, really solid branding and concept. Since I was working west coast hours, I spent the whole afternoon into close here. It's a really great place to work as there were other people working remote. They have comfortable seating and outlets conveniently located along the booth. I will say though that the booth seating was just a tad too high for the table so it took some time getting used to. Also, they do play the music fairly loud (a must) in here so it can be a tad distracting if you're taking meetings and have to speak. Since I stayed here for over 5 hours, I was able to observe the sense of community Marimba has fostered - they greet customers like friends! I also saw on their Instagram that they host community events like paint nights and dance nights and support other local businesses with their La Placita Sundays. I love everything this business is about. I ordered the coquito latte hot and a pan de bono. The latte was solid and I wish the pan de bono was just a bit bigger! I would love to try more here. Congrats to the owners of Marimba, I wish the cafe tons of business and success! I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in town.“

The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. Food is excellent quality and fairly priced for how good it is. Pastas are cooked perfect al dente. Great meat dishes especially the pork chop french cut. The desserts are quite good as well - love the coconut cake. Because it's not huge it isn't quiet but we've never found it to be uncomfortably loud and it has a great ambience.“

They have pasta there for sale that I believe is imported from Italy which I decided to take home a bag for myself. They also have Italian beverages and jars of marinated vegetables they sell. I tried it out for the first time yesterday, I went in wanting this pasta and the owner was working, he told me he only does pasta specials on Wednesday but offered to whip me up something if that's what I wanted which I thought was really nice of him to offer! I didn't want him to go through all that just for one dish so I decided to try the chicken Parmesan and my husband ordered a chicken cutlet. The bread was SO FRESH and the sauce was made to perfection, I was amazed at every bite I took. I also tried my husbands chicken cutlet and it was also outstanding. We finished our meals and then decided to have some of that homemade cheesecake (which I already knew would be delicious) and some coffee. The owner was very genuine and kind and we enjoyed talking to him. Great service great food. Easily 5 star worthy and I already can not wait to return.“
