Not the best first impression..When I called the establishment Chelf Salty communicated his dismay and stated he would remake my order for in person pick-up; I appreciated his effort to make this right so I agreed.I'm glad I did.I ordered the spicy miso ramen, the tori katsu ramen, and the stamina ramen (was sharing with mom).The spicy miso ramen has a nice kick, the ramen noodles have a good chew and the pork confit was silky. Katsu ramen and stamina ramen though brothless had great balance of flavor between the amazingly dressed noodles (again nice kick in heat/flavor that wasn't blindingly spicy), perfect jammy eggs and the the chicken katsu was DIVINE..perfectly crisp..juicy..and again..great balance of flavor in the chicken.If you don't feel like getting in your car to drive to a ramen place and just want to tuck into some yummy ramen at home do give this place a try..I'm glad I did. Is it the best ramen I have ever had in my life? No..but I think it holds its own with the other ramen places in Essex county and again..I think it's a great option for the peeps that live in Nutley/Belleville area that just want to tuck into some good comfort food that isn't pizza or mexican-give it a shot!“

“I was really impressed by this place!We got the coconut shrimp bao buns to start which were absolutely delicious. The shrimp was crispy and hot and the sauce/toppings took it over the top. Perfect snack before our entrees.I got the “cheese steak” ramen and it was truly one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The short rib was tender, the caramelized onions brought so much flavor. The portion was extremely generous, was only able to eat half and took the other half to go.The tres leches tiramisu is a MUST. It was perfectly decadent without being too sweet or heavy.The service from the entire staff was amazing. They were super attentive with refilling our waters, clearing dirty plates and wrapping leftovers. Every staff member that interacted with us was extremely pleasant, accommodating and welcoming.My only small complaint would be that the tables are EXTREMELY close together. Like truly a couple inches. It made it hard to have conversation at times and it was awkward when you or the table next to you had to get in or out because it was very tight.Overall, we will absolutely be back and we look forward to trying more dishes!“

“Went here for a late lunch and was very pleased by how good all the food was! We got the Shiso juice which was very freshing and the takoyaki. Our favorites were the ramens we had which was the red spicy ramen and the black garlic ramen. Both had great flavor, came with a lot of noodles and the chashu was cooked very well to the point where it was super tender.“

Dumplings are melt in your mouth, hot and another order, please The Angry Dragon sushi tamed our appetites, The Ramen noodle soup...is very creamy and delicious...just when we thought we couldn't eat another bite,,,, our server, Sophia offered dessert, we couldn't decide ,when she brought our mango passion fruit sorbet she kindly brought her favorite Lemoncello on her, , let me say the Fantastic food, great atmosphere were only enhanced by Sophia's calm and respectful service. “Let me start with the constructive feedback- and if you are still reading based on the scoring- you clearly want to try this place. -Wish there was a more accessible entry- not stroller friendly. -Wish some of their dishes came with sauce to dip in since a lot of it is finger friendly. -Wish their menu didnt label all the seafood items as vegetarian. Now the good, because a little bit of lifting and asking can help with the above! Service was amazing. Our server was super informative and guided us on our culinary excursion. Szechuan Ravioli- spicy vinaigrette so may be a little on the sour side for some, nice crisp on the outside Fried Rice- serviceable, not much to it Impossible Duck Bun - vegetarian, nice flavor profile and a good bite Vegetable Bowl - lots of veggies and a choice of noodles or rice. Get the noodles. Shanghai Wontons- we ordered this last but we should have done this first... and in multiples. My fav dish because I am a sucker for spicy peanut sauce. Spicy Vegetable Bun- also a great bun, cant go wrong with any of them really. Nice sauté on the vegetables and great flavor. If you made it this far....go! I was fully prepared to write them off, but this past winter was cold, so I gave them another shot. I have been back at least 5 times since then, because they are delicious! This is the first Jersey ramen venue since the demise of Union Republic that is worth continuous patronage! The broths are delicious and the noodle quality is consistent and finally firm! There is a good variety for the exotics (black garlic is popular), but I also want to highlight a great selection of appetizers - some of the best bao and takoyaki I've had in a long time!“

Not a fan of Asian flavors but I wont be bias ? & let my wife review with me. When you walk in you have enough seats to sit down and the server come take care of you. For appetizer we had the steam gyoza. I didn't like it but my wife enjoyed it with the sauce. My wife had the Miso Chicken ramen. She gave it an 8.7/10. The perfect spiciness in the broth, egg was super delicious and noodles was perfectly cooked. She didn't rlly like the chicken. I had the chicken teriyaki with rice. I didnt like the chicken teriyaki at all but enjoyed the sauce of it with my rice yum. Wife thinks chicken teriyaki is tender and juicy. She also loved the sauce. “I came here for the first time last night. I’ve been to the other restaurants with the same name I have to say I think the atmosphere here is better it’s bigger and it’s just more comfortable. The waitress was nice and speak much English but she knew what I wanted. I ordered the combo with ramen soup & teriyaki chicken. It came with white rice.. I was very hungry so I ate everything. I love the broth of the soup. It’s very delicious. It was cold last night so this really hit the spot. They have plenty of parking and Plenty of seats. I highly recommend this restaurant for Ramen..Parking: there are a lot of parking spots. No problem to get a spot here.“

Other budget ramen shops tend to forgo having many ingredients inside like Nama Noodle bar, so I prefer coming here when I feel like having a bowl, however rare that may be.Like I said, I'm very routine and very happy to have Nama Noodle Bar in my routine! “Been a few times now to eat in and grab take out. The people are always friendly and helpful in both scenarios. We've gotten a couple different ramen bowls and poke/burritos. Food is always tasty and generously portioned. Only minor complaint I've ever had is that the eggs in the ramen could be a little less cooked for me but otherwise everything else has been great.“

I had devoured it prior to writing this review. Today was the first time, I’ve tried the Panko shrimp. Yes, it’s crispy, lightly seasoned and just the right crunch! “I walked up and didn’t know what to order but the woman was so kind and helped me decide. We ordered the spicy miso ramen with Korean chicken, chicken dumplings and mango jasmine tea. The ramen was DELICIOUS! It was very hearty and the broth itself had an umami flavor. Perfect amount of spice and done really well. The dumplings were made fresh to order and that was also really good. I don’t think I ever ate from a food court (and even most restaurants) that was this good.
