“Zaffron Bloom in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, is a delightful addition to the culinary scene, offering a fusion of Modern Persian Cuisine with Middle-terranean influence. Helmed by Chef Shahin, whose years of catering experience have culminated in the realization of her dream restaurant, Zaffron Bloom promises a unique dining experience. The restaurant's namesake spice, saffron, is aptly celebrated for its rich history, cultural significance, and exquisite flavor profile.During our lunch visit, we were treated to a delicious meal that surpassed our expectations. The service was impeccable, exceeding the standard. Our decision to dine at Zaffron Bloom was influenced by a friend's glowing recommendation, and we're thrilled to have discovered this gem. Zaffron Bloom truly embodies the essence of "the spice of life" with its innovative approach to traditional Persian cuisine. Deliciousness!! To all Yelpers.... Guys we have to support small local business. It's more important than you can imagine especially during these times. Give them a try, we're sure you'll enjoy it. Be on the lookout... a little insider info, they'll soon be opening a market adjacent to Zaffron. Good luck with all and future ventures. @vinopotato.“

“I know this place just opened, but I extremely highly recommend. A few of my friends came to eat here and so I decided to give it a try. Walking in, I was surprised how there was literally no one there but a ton of workers which I guess was great for me as they were super attentive. I was a bit surprised by the prices were pretty high for something that was supposed to be take-out, but the minute they start making the shawarma, I knew why it was more expensive. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma platter and it was delicious! Perhaps one of the best shawarmas I've had in the city. First of all, they gave us a platter just for all the toppings, did I mention that they are unlimited, that they had. Sometimes the toppings don't have that much flavor, but each one was very complex and flavorful. The chopped salad was light and fresh which balanced out the finely chopped pickles which added a sour taste. The red cabbage slaw which was slightly savory and slightly sour balanced out the onions that had a slight charred on it. I was so delighted by all the different toppings, which is where I think the place definitely shines. The chicken itself was okay, tender but not crazier than normal. Overall, I had an amazing experience and especially with the portion sizes, the platter could easily feed a family of 4 with additional leftovers. I think it will take me at least 6-7 meals before eating it all but I did add some of my own rice to counteract the bounty of flavors. I will say that they don't automatically give you the rice or the fries so big reminder to ask them for that when you come.“

“Alright! Where do i begin?! There were 4 people behind the counter and when i walked in, all four greeted me. The manager greeted at the ordering station and didnt overwhelm me to order my food as this was the first time being there. He asked me if id like any suggestions and we landed on the chicken platter with spicy chickpeas rice and cole slaw. Everything about this bowl was immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. I also ordered their fries because why not!The portion size was generous but not overbearing. They had the mexican coke glass bottles which was a great choice to wash the food down with. I got the brown to top it all off and it was amazing. Chipotle, Qdoba, Halal Guys even have nothing on Juicy Platters. I definitely will be coming back with the family!“

We got there around 15 minutes before our reservation time, and the restaurant staff made an extra effort to seat us promptly and accommodate our large group comfortably. The food was delectable, and the service was outstanding. This restaurant truly lives up to its reputation.“

“Today was my first visit here, and it made me wish I lived closer! George and his staff made us feel like family, and the food was all so fresh and delicious. We started with an order of Zaatar fries [where have you been all my life]. They arrived crispy and seasoned to perfection. They need nothing, but a side of lebneh to dip in would take them over the top; note to self for next time... Next out was a huge and stunning platter, the mixed grill for two. See my pic for the lovely presentation of tasty grilled meats and veggies they served us. There was more than enough for us to share, and it was all thoughtfully prepared. Sure, I may have overdone it with the garlic sauce, but it was worth every minute! Just make sure everyone else has some, too.Not everyone belongs in this business, but George and his people certainly do; I feel like I just got back from having home-cooked lunch at my cousin's.Oh, don't miss the Iced Mint Lemonade! They serve it frozen, and it's a real treat.“

“You have a fair number of Middle Eastern bakery options on Paterson, and the standard is fairly high across the board just to keep up with the competition and stay in business. That being said, the Alhamadanya Sweets is outstanding in every way. With a mind blowing assortment of Middle Eastern sweets and great service. All the sweets we sampled was delicious and superior. Their individual pastries are works of art and they taste great too and are definitely habit forming!“

“I've been looking for a place like this since moving to NYC. They're easy to find in London but a little harder in NYC dependent on the neighbourhood. I'm a huge fan of Middle Eastern, North African and South Asian food. “The food was good and the service was great. They could have lowered the lights a little earlier but instead opened the shade and made it even brighter. There was a party in their party space next door and you can hear the DJ so it was a bit loud. However, we would go back again because the food was good. We don't want to make a judgement on one night.“

“Walking into this restaurant with the smell of incense and the employee politely greeting us. I asked him what’s recommended and he told us to order the mixed grill. Within 10 minutes, we had our food. The food was so delicious that my friend and I didn’t speak to each other the entire time we were there because it tasted so good. A large platter of food for only $15 and it was filling too. Would highly recommend coming here and getting the mixed grill!“
“Newly Seen Nuance and Vibe Outside of Al Masaq stands a life-size statue of a cow. It emits a sense of life. Dining area, seven tables, two having more seating space than the others, confidently offers its kind bread bakery self. This late morning Al Mazaq's sole waitress fully shares her face seasoned with glasses joined to bold temples and a select few attractive, appealing papule leaving enthusiasts breathlessly gazing at her intense, focused face. Her totally timely appearance adds flavor and beauty of a salad with stewed tomatoes and sour pickles. Memorable for its shape, smell and taste the baked bread arrives in her arms. Hello sweet mascarpone cheese. Scrambled eggs in the bagila platter complete the painting. No, not a bit of restaurant noise distracts from a diner's experience: special vibe, very pleasant. A previous visit with many more diners also carried this vibe. Many photos of Iraq on the wall pleasantly invite your eyes. And yes, a to-remember painting on the opposite wall, a gift from a customer reaches out to all. The sculpture of the comfortably gazing cow, visible from within the restaurant, gives a sense, an illusion, of its actual movement.“

“Alright, I confess: I ate my food without taking photos first, but hear me when I say: it was DELISH! I had the MATCHA LATTE w/MACADAMIA MILK and the EGG SANDWICH, which seemed simple, but is so flavorful and gratifying that I almost ordered one to go.The situation: catching up with a dear sis of mine I haven’t seen in what feels like ages. We scheduled to meet up for brunch and a catch up, which led to a tarot/oracle reading - more in that soon, I promise. It was a grand time, and had we more time, there would be photos. Next time, I assure you.Let me know if you’re in the neighborhood and decide to pop by. I might be there myself, so say heyloooo! ?“
“My wife and I ate at this restaurant a couple of days ago with friends. The restaurant is self serve and you pay at the counter. My wife had a slice of pizza with tomatoes and onions, I had the eggplant parmesan and fried breaded cauliflower and we shared a leafy put together yourself salad and vegetarian sushi. The food was excellent, very tasty and filling. The atmosphere was what you'd expect from a self serve midtown/downtown business lunch place--not a place to take a romantic first date that you want to impress--but we'd highly recommend this restaurant if you want some quick great food at a reasonable price.“
