“KALID AND DAVID ARE THE BEST!!! The sweetest staff with excellent pastries. They were closed when we walked in but ended up allowing us to sit down and place an order. They did not rush us whatsoever. It was very kind of them especially cause it was my sisters birthday and she loves their donuts. Thank you so much for making our night !!! You MUST stop by at this location if you are in NYC :)“
“Found this gem across the hotel we stayed at, excellent food and ambiance. Loved the creative combination of truffle, with lobster and nice cut of filet mignon. Tiramisu was great, next time I'll try the pistachio tiramisu to mix it up.“
“I ate here with my family earlier today as a pre-dinner snack. We were hungry and needed something small, quick, and sweet that would hold us off until dinner. Admittedly, I am not much of a pie person and usually decline pies when I am offered. However, these pies were absolutely amazing. I shared the double chocolate pecan pie with ice cream with my mother (highly recommend), and my father and sister shared the signature pie which was a fruit pie. The pies were about $7 a piece and we also ordered two teas for I think $3 a piece (I may be a few dollars off). Anyways, it was an overall lovely treat. The inside is 60s diner themed and the workers were so sweet. Our server kept on checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable and best of all, he shared some very cringey (but still funny) dad jokes. Unfortunately, I don't live in NYC and will not be able to eat here as often as I would like to, but I fully recommend this place to anyone that has the opportunity to eat here.“
“My favorite spot for coffee in the UES. But what makes this shop better than the others in the neighborhood is its staff. Derek is an incredible barista, and his friendly and caring personality definitely helps me have a great start of the day.“
“This place brings me so much joy every time I walk in. Their baked goods are absolutely delightful and the birthday cake I bought there this year was out of this world. The staff are super kind and patient despite having to sling breakfast burritos nonstop for the bougiest of Brooklynites. Anyway don’t listen to the bad reviews you will probably leave Ceremonia happier than when you walked in.Dietary restrictions: They are very allergen and dietary restriction friendly!“
“Though this place is pricey for its location, their pastries are absolutely delicious. Their seasonal goat cheese and honey bread was warm and homey. Their Babka was delicious. This place is not nut-friendly for those with allergies and doesn’t have much seating for how busy it gets.“
“I have visited 2ce in search of some quality espresso. The woman/man behind the counter were very friendly and suggested a cortado this day as I expressed I needed something strong. It was small but mighty. Just what I was looking for. I came in this morning and tried their machiato which hit the spot n was also small but mighty. Can't wait to try their chai tea. & Other drinks. The pastries looked tasty I will have to taste one of these days. I love it taste can't wait to stay awhile as the ambiance is welcoming and cozy. I'm happy to support a neighborhood staple & wish them much success“
“The macrons were delicious & sooo original! It was such a last minute purchase I really didn’t think it would even work out but Stephanie came through big-time! I can’t post a photo because they were eaten right away ? I highly recommend!!“
“As I was taking in the sights and sounds of West Village, I walked by Bleeker St Pizza and there was hardly any line. Normally, that thing is wrapped around the block so I took this as a call from God to pop in.While waiting in the short line with loud hispanic music thumping in my ears and the smell of fresh pizza dough gracing my nostrils, I saw a sign that said "We Love Kobe." Me too Bleeker St, me too. Nothing like some unexpected Kobe love...he really had me practicing post fadeaways in middle school when I was like 5 foot 6 ahahah. (I'm 6'5 now, haha)Anyways, I opted to get a slice of pep ($4.94) and a slice of cheese ($3.64).The 2 slices couldn't have been more different. Like Michael Jackson and Tito Jackson. The cheese was touched by the hand of god, and the pepperoni slice was kind of meh.The cheese slice had that idyllic crispy crust on the bottom and hangtime when you picked it up. You heard the crackle of the crust on every bite. Brings a smile to my face and hunger to my belly just recapping it. One of the best slices I've had in the city. The pep slice was decent, but nothing like that cheese slice. The bottom crust had neither crisp, nor hangtime. I think the cheese was from a pie fresh out of the oven, where the pep slice was reheated. Following the cheese slice, my expectations for the pep were through the roof. I guess this is just another piece of evidence for expectations being the root of all heartache.RIP KOBE! My post fade still buttery!IG @jnov_Tiktok @jnov__“
“so far I’ve had simple loaf’s regular croissant, their turkey cheddar jalapeno croissant, quiche, spelt biscuit and multigrain loaf, and all are delicious! $5-6 may seem steep for a croissant but the sizes and portions are generous in my opinionthe turkey cheddar croissant especially is great warmed up but I will say for some reason if you ask them to warm it at the bakery it can take an unreasonably long time, better to take it to go and heat it up at home if you cancan’t speak for the drinks but the breads and baked goods are amazing“
“We got 4 slices, two at a time. Mushroom first. Delicious, crunchy, mushroom-y. Then went back for the fresh mozzarella slices... ? Strong ? flavor from the tomatoes and basil. So good. Really friendly service.Vegetarian options: There were at least three options for veg people. It's pizza.“
“Delicious chicken and beef tacos. I ordered a cheese base taco for my KETO diet and added guacamole, onion, and cilantro. We found some seating outside, but it would be more difficult if it were crowded. Long lines, but they move fast.Around five dollar a taco.“
“My husband and I found this little gelato place in little Italy after having a disappointing dinner. My husband had the mango gelato and I had a a scoop of the pistachio and hazelnut. All three flavors were amazing! Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.“
“Consistently top notch quality coffee made by disciplined and very skilled Baristas. Is this the cozy, art-filled coffee shop from “Friends” NO. It’s decidedly stark and hyper-clean, like THX-1138 clean. However if You are a coffee lover and aficionado, the coffee is as consistently great as Blue Bottle or Devoción.“
“I stopped in at Cerasella today for the first time after hearing great things for a while. I’m so happy I did! The service was exceptional. Despite being relatively busy, the staff took their time to explain the menu and options, with detail and a smile.I ended up getting the lunch special, which comes with a sandwich, coffee and a pastry. I knew I was in for a treat when I got my coffee, which was made with freshly ground beans and served with streamed milk. The sandwich (prosciutto and fresh mozzarella) and pistachio bombolone were both just exceptional.I can’t wait to go back and try more of the offerings! I only regret that I didn’t come sooner!“
“This cake was an absolute masterpiece!! All three tiers were a different flavor, one even better than the next….my personal favorite was the coconut cake. Planning a wedding is so overwhelming and there are so many decisions to be made. Polkadot Cake Shop was well organized, quick to respond and so easy to work with. Also loved being able to support a business local to me. Thank you so much!!!“
“Happy birthday to me. This was really good, and made me really want to go to the main restaurant. But so many things were so good. The rye bread creme fraiche, the flatbread, the squash, the carrot cake for the birthday boy. Fun cocktails and good wine, too. I always love a Tokai.“
“The most popular one is the chocolate chip walnut cookie, but my favorite is the dark chocolate chocolate chip cookie.I like chocolate-based cookies because they feel like eating cake or brownies. There are always people lining up inside the store. I don't like waiting in line, so I usually go right after the store opens or just before it closes.I've never tried it, but the bread looks delicious. The most popular is the chocolate chip walnut cookie, but my favorite is the dark chocolate chocolate chip cookie.“
“This restaurant is fantastic. I can't believe anyone would rate this place anything less than five stars. I have traveled all over the world and have yet to find a vegan/vegetarian restaurant I have enjoyed more than this place. My wife and I chose to sit at the counter top, overlooking the kitchen. It was enjoyable watching the chefs meticulously prepare each dish. Every course brought to us was thoroughly explained by staff. Every course tasted better than the previous course. The interior also had low lighting, which set off a romantic vibe. I highly recommend bringing your spouse to this place.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian menu - Vegan upon requestDietary restrictions: Vegetarian menu - Vegan on request“
“My go-to coffeeshop in the neighborhood! I love swinging by here on my way to work, coffee in hand on the subway, station just around the corner. I'm usually a simple cold brew person, but their blended drinks and lattes are both excellent, while boasting a variety of flavors usually hard to find (sorrel and soursop).“
“Amazing service and beautiful, delicious cream puffs! It’s difficult to find desserts that are peanut free so this was a win to begin with! Had issues with a delivery service (not related to Barachou) and called the bakery directly. Rebecca was so kind and arranged delivery for me on Valentine’s Day. Thank you! Will definitely go back!“
“Small selection but every option is absolutely delicious. Staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. They gave recommendations which I tried. The cookies were nice and warm we started eating them there! Can’t wait to try more cookies flavours!“
“This is an Iraqi restaurant with excellent food, everything we ordered was superbly tasty, I especially recommend the eggplant salad and Iraqi kebab as well as smoked ayran, you can try all this only here, you won’t find such dishes anywhere. Excellent friendly “
“I got an assortment of gourmet cookies for a party and they were a hit!! The oreo cookies, red velvet and crème brulé was amazing and everyone who tried them kept asking where I got them from. I look forward to trying the other pastries ?“
“Feeling tired and craving comfort food? Happy Belly has got it for you; it’s my go-to place. They offer delicious, satisfying, and affordable meals. The place is cozy, clean, and homey, with friendly staff. The Beef Teriyaki and Fried Spring Rolls are must-tries.“
“I miss that place so much after moving from nyc. The best bagels in the whole nyc (and I tried many). Always fresh, big and chewy, incredible selection of spreads and bagel flavors. Just mouth watering! My favorite was multigrain bagel and fish salad on top. Very nice stuff serving food fast in this high pace environment. I always stop by this bagel show when visiting nyc.“
“This bakery is incredible. And it's not just incredible, the customer service is the same. I'm from Chicago and I needed a cake for my wife and her mother who have a birthday on the same day and we were coming to celebrate her birthday in Brooklyn. They attended to me, took my order and took my specifications into consideration. Thanks for the service. I hope to be able to return soon.“
“I'm a barista from PVD, RI. i have friends who work at other CPNY locations, and I'm in town today for a throwdown. this location was close to where i was, so i decide to pop in for a quick bev.god, this little spot is so cute and well designed. how they fit as much as they did into a space that's seemingly about 8 feet wide is impressive and so beyond my imagination.Staff was so sweet And positive, they clearly understand hospitality and take pride in what they do.i ordered a decaf whole milk latte because i was on my 3rd caffeinated cup already. I kid you not, this was the best decad espresso drink I've had in my life. natural sweetness, almost an orange zest type beat. Milk was steamed perfectly. none of that overroasted flavor profile you get with Colombian decafs so many places carry. this place is so legit. 6/5. 11/10. y'all made my day.“
“Service was great. I was added to the waitlist with a 45 minute estimate but they called within 5 minutes. The Tie Dye pizza seemed to be the favorite of everyone there and it was tasty. Nice servers, too.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options“
“I found this bakery by searching “best gluten free bakery north Jersey” and it did not disappoint. From the second I called to order my cake I was impressed with the service and their willingness to do whatever it was I needed. I wanted a very specific cake for an event for my son, and Eleanor was so kind and so excited to help make my vision a reality. I gave her a tight turn around of 2 days and she was more than happy to make it happen. When I arrived to pick up my cake, the warm and inviting personality I received on the phone was magnified by 10 in person. I knew I would be back before even trying the cake! The cake was a HIT and everyone loved it. Even those who eat gluten thought it was delicious and they couldn't tell it was gluten free! I am officially claiming this as my new bakery for all things gluten free. Please order from here. You will be so happy you did.“
“Love this place , it's honestly my favorite pizza in Hoboken. And lord knows Hoboken has alot of them. The workers are extremely friendly and their arrangement of different toppings , satisfies anyone taste. Their garlic knots are huge!!“
“I loved this place, they let us in without reservation. The main dishes were really good, like homemade, they didn't looked big but it was a disguise because under the salad or the pasta there was a lot of meat. The desserts were delicious but we couldn't eat more. The service was great! The time that took them from ordering to serving the plates was fast.Definitely recommend this place! Will be back!“
“Brooklyn Perks Coffee Shop offers a delightful blend of cozy ambiance and rich, aromatic coffees. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or seeking a relaxing spot to work, this place has it all. Highly recommended for a comforting coffee experience in Brooklyn.“
“Best Bagel & Coffee truly lives up to its name. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of trying their Turkey Egg and Cheese sandwich, and let me tell you, it was so delicious. The bagel itself was perfectly toasted, boasting that ideal combination of chewiness and crispness that every bagel aficionado craves. The generous serving of turkey was juicy and flavorful, complemented by the creamy richness of the cheese and the fluffy goodness of the egg. Each bite was a symphony of savory flavors and satisfying textures.I highly recommend Best Bagel & Coffee to anyone visiting New York. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this establishment is a must-visit for a true taste of the city's culinary excellence. From their delectable bagels to their mouthwatering sandwiches, every item on their menu is a testament to their commitment to quality and flavor. Don't miss out on the opportunity to savor the magic of Best Bagel & Coffee."“
“SUCH A NICE STAFF SERVING DIVINE FRESH FOODBOTH THE YOUNG BOY AND GIRL GREETED ME SO NICELY, MADE ME TASTE THE SOUPS BEFORE DECIDINGVERY SIMPLE SEATING ARRANGMENT, BUT NICE CLEAN PLACE AND ONE OF THE BEST THAI CURRIES IN NEW YORKALSO VERY AFFORDABLE“
“I’m so happy I found this neighborhood, family-owned, bakery. We come in all the time for their yummy croissants, fruit tarts, cupcakes and slices of cake…Everything has been so delicious, fresh, and tasted homemade. One of my all time favorites is the coconut, pineapple cake. The cakes are not overly sweet and industrially made. The people who work there are always sweet and lovely to my kids when we come-in which I really appreciate as well. Recently, I ordered a red velvet cake for my daughter’s bday and it was AMAZING. The cake was not only beautiful but also delicious…The cake had a rich flavor and the cream cheese icing in between the layers was divine! Everyone had seconds and that’s not usually the case with other bday cakes in my experience at least. I highly recommend this gem!!PS- they also have very good gluten free options.“
“Wow the Caramel Coconut Chocolate ChipIs my favorite because seems it’s not made with dark chocolate or it’s milder tasting because of the coconut and caramel, maybe! Note their chocolate chip cookie is dark chocolate which I don’t love. The video is of that cookie which my daughter loved. Enjoy!“
“A true masterpiece in the world of plant-based sushi with innovative and flavorful ingredients. The menu features amazing dishes prefect for sharing and surpasses the traditional sushi experience in taste and creativity. Each bite is a delightful explosion of plant-powered goodness. The chic ambiance and friendly staff complete the exceptional dining journey. Perfect for anyone seeking a unique and satisfying vegan sushi experience.Vegetarian options: Vegan plant based“
“We had such an amazing dinner at Kaikagetsu! Every detail of our experience from the sourcing of the ingredients, the preparation of the food, the dish ware selected for presentation, and the sake recommendations were incredibly thoughtful and well executed. As someone who used to work in fine dining, I was really impressed that our dinner did not just feel like a meal but an experience where the quality of the ingredients and sincerity of the hospitality really shined through. A huge hats off to the team! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening :) we will definitely be back“
“The variety of bagels here was outstanding. Unfortunately I can only eat one but will be back to try one of the other flavors....Doritos sounded like I had to try it. Went with Asiago toasted with Sun Dried tomato cream cheese. Great place for good tasting bagels and loads of variety.“
“Ordered the Philly cheesesteak with a gluten free bun and lentil pancake and I was blown away. Almost tastes as good as the real thing. Definitely will be coming back and being my friends ! The Philly was flavorful, bread was fresh and warm.“
“I’m so used to being nickel and dimed by restaurants that when I got $3 in change at the register, I ask for the 60 cents in change I *thought* I was owed, but in reality my meal was $17.42 and he actually only charged me $17 I felt very silly after that. He also gave me a cup of tap water which is honestly getting rarer nowadays. Halal guys among other places charge you for it, so now I expect to be charged for water everywhere. The man at the register was very kind and my vegan beef gyro was delicious. The vegan beef tasted a little smoky, the flavor was on point! Not only came with tzatziki but hot sauce and tahini too. I really enjoyed my meal, and I think this place is priced fairly for being a vegan spot in the city. Will definitely be coming back!Vegetarian options: All vegan optionsWheelchair accessibility: Flat entry, not sure about width of door but definitely space to move inside.“
“We absolutely loved the chef’s tasting menu! The dishes are delicious, the presentation is a work of art, and the staff make you feel right at home as you enjoy French cuisine in front of a fireplace overlooking beautiful views of Manhattan. Our favorite dishes were the lubina & the quail. Expect one of the best dinners you’ve ever had.“
“You are going to walk in here thinking you are getting quick takeout. Then you will see the adorable interior and instantly decide you need to eat the full meal here, and come back every day for the rest of your life. Incredibly affordable for GOOD quality food, and the man behind the counter is very kind as well. One of those meals where you can’t hold a conversation because all you can process is how delicious your meal is. We recommend the shawarma sandwich and falafel sandwich.“
“Where do I begin? Let's see the food is excellent served fresh and warm and they keep it that way until you arrive. The atmosphere is very calm or shall I say Zenful there is a true sense of calm . The staff there is awesome so friendly , always a smile and willing to help you decide what you might want to try . I finally tried the breakfast sandwich, I was stuck on the chicken sandwich. Oh boy everything is good .“
“Came here on a whim. Very curiously set up place separate entrance and section for takeout and another for those wanting to sit down and have a meal inside. Place is very small so space is tight. We came in early enough when it was still sort of empty on a Sunday it starts to get really busy around 11am.The food was fantastic. Very inventive and nicely seasoned although I would have liked to have something other than sandwiches even open faced. Had a #22 an open faced bacon poached eggs, avocado on the Bagel. Everything was good except the Bagel. A little more toast may have done it wonders. Although it didn't make it for any worse experience. May visit again in some time.Wheelchair accessibility: It is up the steps and very tight with tables and chairs so I am not sure how navigable that would be with a wheelchair.“
“This has been a wonderful experience full of amazing foods we got to try. The spicy jackfruit crab tasted just like an actual crab with a good kick into it. Also, the oyster mushroom baos were amazing with the fluffy bread, sesame seeds, and the soy sauce flavoured mushrooms. This has been a wonderful experience and we are definitely coming here back again.“
“The pastries are NOT very sweet (good point in my opinion) and the coffee is very delicious, different from most of the coffee shops in the city that tend to have a burnt taste. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, good music to sit quietly.“
“Small little bakery that sells cheesecakes - no seating so you have to either stand to eat or do takeout. My girlfriend and I ordered 4 cheesecakes ($6/cheescake): Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Key Lime, Strawberry, and Banana. All four cheesecakes were so unique and delicious. Each cheesecake had amazing flavor and you could really taste the uniqueness of it. I wish the cheesecakes were bigger for the price because $6 is a lot for such a small cheesecake - but the taste definitely makes up for it. Overall, I would rate this place a 8.5/10 - I would come again but only occasionally due to the price.“
“We visit this restaurant periodically. Firstly, it has wonderful ambiance that has a high-end feel, yet it is laid-back. We really enjoy their bar, and the smoked old fashioned is one of the better ones I have had. Sitting at the bar and enjoying appetizers is very enjoyable, and the bar staff are always friendly, prompt, and strike up conversation. The food here is good for a chain. Diablo shrimp fettuccine, mussels Josephine, calamari, bang bang shrimp, etc. are all quite good. Service is always accurate, attentive, and friendly which is a plus. Food has been consistent each time. Overall, for a chain, this restaurant has great ambiance, good service, and consistent food.“
