“A magnificent service, the waiting time at the time of serving was efficient enough that the 15 minute wait was not felt and last but not least the taste, you could say that the taste is something that reminds you of home, The family sitting and gathering was spectacular, I won't lie, I would say I would come back again.“
“Cute in the cut clean spot with great food the most amazing natural juices i have ever tasted in my life. I would recommend the pineapple juice. The food is an original take on multicultural favorites and the atmosphere was super welcoming; like visiting a good friend's home. I'm looking forward to my next visit and bringing my family here! Food was fresh and abundant! Margaritas were DELICIOUS!! Actually felt like I tasted the alcohol. I Will definitely return and ask for ANDREA!! She was a DOLL!!!!!! Thank you forgata!!!“
“Really cool, hip spot in Caldwell for good Peruvian food. Our server knew exactly what to recommend as well when we asked about the specials, entrees, and appetizers. We had ceviche as a appetizer as well as some Maduros and they were quite tasty. I really enjoyed my main entree which was a Mofongo saltado which adds a nice Dominican fusion/flair to it. For dessert I went with the flan and espresso and I feel like you can't go wrong with that choice. My friends had the tres leches and they mentioned it was super tasty too. Not too many seats in the restaurant so make sure to call ahead and make a reservation.“
“Jefferson nos atendeu como um verdadeiro marketeiro . Sabe vender ofereceu os produtos com explicação de tudo com detalhes . Parabéns por ter um funcionário super dedicado . Quantos os produtos sempre deliciosos com sabor de Brasil. Mais o açaí foi o melhor que já comi aqui na América . Parabéns . Nota 1000 .“
“This diner's service is always great. I think there is so much to choose from it can be intimidating. When it was time to pay the check, I noticed their new pay system had already added a 15% tip to the bill. I think tipping should ALWAYS be the discretion of the patron. Because my server was great, I didn't have a problem paying the 15%. I wonder if her tip is shared. FYI, you can change the tip amount at the register, but ya'll need to pay attention.Food at this diner is always yummy. The staff is great and at my visit they were on top of everything. There is someone ready to clear your plate if you're done. Our server was attentive. Making sure if we needed anything else during our meal.Kid-friendliness: They have paper placemats for kids to doodle while waiting for their meal.“
“I could eat from here every day! Elizabeth was missing an actual GOOD Ecuadorean restaurant.(I’ve tried them all) The prices are great and the food is delicious! They also have daily lunch specials which include soup, entree and drink. Also, staff is so friendly! Love them!“
“It just so happens that I was very hungry and I got free-range chicken and I ordered something to eat, and I wasn't even finished ordering and my food was already ready. I really liked it. There were 2 cool guys and a girl, I think, her name was Ashlee. Everyone was very attentive, which speaks volumes about the restaurant. congratulations date 04/16/2024 7.45 PM THANK YOU see you soon“
“Olgas place is a land mark in the Elizabeth Port. To know Olga's is to know Elizabeth. Tucked away on a quiet one way street. Just on the other side of where the Turnpike divides the Frog Hollow Section of Elizabeth from the rest of the city.Olga has been one of the best places to enjoy. Recently remodeled and updated. This family owned an operated Restaurant/ Bar.Has been serving the best ?? Costa Rican Cusine for over 20 years. The menu is full of all sorts of great dishes. From a surf and turf to a Chifrijo. One of my personal favorites.White Rice covered in black beans with small pieces of Chicharon mixed in.( fried pork bits) topped with pico de gallo and sliced avocado. A hardy meal. My go to after a long day and an empty stomach. The prices are really reasonable. If you are just looking to have a good time and catch up with some friends.Olga's Place is that place. Where the music is playing just loud enough to make you dance in your seat. But not so loud where you can't enjoy the conversation with your date. You can sit at the bar or dinning room. TVs align the walls. You can catch the latest sporting event. Don't see the game you are looking for. Ask one of the friendly managers. They will be happy to look for it and put it on for you.Talking about the bar. They serve the latest and trendiest drinks. The bar tenders and wait staff are on point. Everyone is super friendly and go out of thier way to make you feel at home. The place is really busy on the weekends. As it has it share of local regulars and people who come from all over the state. There is plenty of parking on both sides of the building. If you know me and follow my post and reviews. You know I really enjoy my Cappuccinos. Ximena is one of the servers and makes it perfect every time. Ask for her to make your Cappuccino. You won't be disappointed. They have something going on every day of the week. Karaoke,Salsa Night and even a game night. You can enjoy singing along with the staff. They seem to know all the songs. Claudia will entertain you with her singing. Karla will charm you with her great smile and personality. You won't ever have to wait long. For your food or drink. I enjoy Thursday Nights when Kelly and Hariana are working. They make sure my order is right everytime.Olga's Place is trendy, hip yet they maintain a great family atmosphere.I just can't say enough about this place.I dont offer 5 stars often but this place is really that good. Follow them on Instagram and Facebook to stay connected with what's going on.I have quickly become a regular. I bet you might to. #ElizabethStrongParking: The Building has off street parking on both sides. On th weekends you mayhave to find parking on the streets.Kid-friendliness: Olga's has a family atmosphere and is kid friendly. On any given day. You will see families enjoying and eating at Olga's Place.“
“I Uber eat my dinner and unfortunately they forgot to put my side empanadas. I contacted the restaurant and not long after someone who actually works for the restaurant came and hand-deliver my empanadas. If it wasn’t for my son who loves empanadas I would’ve left it alone but of course I had to contact the restaurant because that’s the only thing he would eat but I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant I have been going there for years now and they go beyond.“
“e visitado muchos restaurantes peruanos donde la comida es rica, pero la verdad ninguna mejor que la comida de La Casa de Don Andrés. Es el autentico sabor peruano,más delicioso no puede haber.el mejor servicio y un ambiente muy tranquilo y familiar.lo recomiendo al 1000%“
“The food is always fresh and the steak tender cooked to perfection. The ambience is causual comfortable and fun. No loud music to interfere with good conversation with your party. The service is outstanding always clean neat and smiling as they serve you. The best sangria I have ever had. I have become a regular here and know the waiter and waitress names and each of them have their special way of making me feel welcomed and ready to serve. 5 Stars and highly recommended.“
“Amazing whole in the wall spot. I'm puertorican, and it's hard to find a good boricua place in NJ. This place is great. The food is great, and the service is outstanding. They treat their customers like family, and the prices are good. I definitely recommend this spot!“
“The best encebollado in Newark ! Hands down . We have went everywhere in Newark and this place never disappoints. I would suggest you get there early , there is a wait do to the restaurant being small, however they are very humble and accommodate you quickly.“
“Good Cuban food. Glad to find vegetarian options for Lunch. Staff is super friendly. Manny the host has amazing vibes. Loved the overall experience and a place to have a quiet sit down lunchVegetarian options: Some vegetarian options. Spinach Empanada was good“
“I enjoy eating here with my grandchildren ,they make the California burgers with bacon wow! Delicious and their fries are so crispy, very clean, family environment, good prices and excellent service I Highly recommend it .Kid-friendliness: My grandchildren love it they order their milkshakes ,hamburgers french fries would not eat anywhere else they say.“
“Today I accidentally stopped there for coffee on my way to the train station. Coffee has a really different flavor when combined with hot milk. I highly recommend the coffee, it outclasses Starbucks and this type of place in terms of taste and price .“
“I built a core memory today, the day I found the best Peruvian Food in New Jersey. WOW! My expectations have been met and exceeded. The Chaufa was so good and such a large portion they clearly price the food knowing they are going to sell out. The ceviche mixto was amazing perfect lime and spicy level… I’ve always had to add lime or salt from other ceviches but not this one.The filete de pescado was perfectly cooked. Overall I’m excited to try the other dishes they offer I know I will not be disappointed.“
“I highly recommend City Tavern in Elizabeth, NJ! Every visit is a great one. The food is always delicious no matter what we order. We're never disappointed. The ambiance is stunning and there's an ample amount of parking available. One of thing that standouts about City Tavern is the attentive service by the owner. She's always present and makes sure that the service is top-notch. You can see the owner and staff, they genuinely care about their customers' satisfaction. This place is a gem that never disappoints us. Whether you're looking for a memorable dining experience or simply craving exceptional food, this is the place to go!“
“Delicious Dominican food. Hot food ready to pick from behind a covered food warmer. Fast service. In and out within a few minutes. It's not the nicest place, but the food is always delicious and reasonably priced. Great lunch with leftover for $10 - $12. Staff is very friendly but many times difficult to communicate with because much of the staff only speak Spanish. Still, just point to what you want, and you'll get it. Highly recommend for lunch takeout other than all the fadt food places nearby or for a quick stop after work to pick up dinner. They do close early, though.“
“Food is amazing, hands down the best restaurant lounge food I’ve ever had, (get the picada and thank me later) whoever cooks can COOK !!!! Great environment too ! Highly Recommend go get lit here and enjoy the music and vibes y’all gonna have a great time !“
“Tried LB for the first time last week. To go , Pollo Francese and Pollo a La Plancha. The Frances was FANTASTIC-had leftovers for lunch on a nice roll. Comes w 2 sides all of which were good. However...the icing was the legit Mexican pan dulce -conchas and those crumbly sugar cookies Very cute inside, about 6 little tables, nothing fancy but clean and easy atmosphere“
“This food is delicious and true to Dominican food! It is incredibly hard to find authentic DR/PR food in Newark area. Customers service is cool, you are greeted properly. They're usually very busy near weekends. I had the pork mofongo, the chicharron with rice and beans. Everything is flavorful and seasoned well. The portions are well rounded and filling. Price point is great. I'll definitely be back to try Empanadas, chicken etc. It's nice to finally get some real Dominican food around here! I ate it so fast I didn't take a flick, maybe next time.“
“Delicious, affordable, and consistent. I recommend the fried fish and the traditional sides are always great. Make sure you get the spicy pickled onions. Sometimes they ask if you want it and sometimes they don't but you should always get it. Also, if you are sitting down or not in a rush, order the empanadas. They are made fresh and VERY GOOD.“
“I was treated to lunch at this restaurant and ordered the Pescado Sudado dish. It was absolutely delicious. Just on this meal alone I would highly recommend the food. Thank you!Parking: I didn't go to the location. Google will not allow me to post a review unless I tick all the boxes. Some are not applicable.“
“Great place to grab a bite on a Friday night...relaxed and tropical ambience, clean, and plenty of seating. The tropical fruits in the fish dishes were phenomenal...added a nice element to the saltiness of the fish. Only drawback are the portion sizes on the fish. Fairly small for what you're paying...it wasn't terrible but I would have liked a little bigger piece and some more rice. However it wasn't over cooked, very fresh, and lots of flavor. Definitely a place you may want to frequent.“
“Food came out fast and was delicious. Portions were more than sufficient. Very flavorful and just was a truly satisfying meal. Our waitress was friendly and the service was excellent. We will definitely be going back…soon. Big thanks to my friend, Ed, for recommending this place.Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices“
“My family and I love coming here on sundays! The food is very delicious, it has a mixture or all types of Latin American dishes. My favorite is the Mofongo de pollo. It comes in a creamy mushroom sauce (I included the picture of what was barely remaining). But we also love to get the Jalea which is not in their updated menu. I did call to ask about that specifically because we ordered take out. Had a bit of a problem with my order but they were able to help me and fixed my order.“
“Absolutely wonderful food. For a great price as well. What is nice about this hispanica local restaurant is that they serve popular american dishes, ranging from grilled chicken to protein omelettes to breakfast platters. They are extremely generous with the condiments and give you more than enough for the food. Super awesome of them for doing that. The restaurant itself is small and has few tables since it is a local in Kearny, New Jersey. I tried the omelette and the all American platter. Delicious. Would recommend for anyone in the Harrison area, definitely stop by and give this place a try. Their fries are thoughtfully delicious and crisp.Parking: Free street parking on a 2-way road“
“I’m from Uruguay so stopping by here for pizza and faina is always amazing ? they also have some other great dishes too !!Worth the trip ? BTW, if you don't know what faina (chickpea flour bread) go and try it... your pizza life will never be the same!“
“I can't give a full review because it was my 1st time visiting the establishment. I can give a review of what I ordered & of the person that served me. Everything looked & smelled good. The person who served me was kind & friendly. I had the picadillo with white rice, sweet plantains, a fried yuca fritter, & a side of beans. It all was very tasty, with the exception of the fritter. My only qualm was the pricing for what I ordered. It came to $29, including 2 bags of cheese doodles.Would I go back... Yes. Everything looked vibrant & fresh... I wanted to try EVERYTHING.“
“Ecuadorian food my waitress was a Dominican girl really kind she is New but is a good one. Very respectful, nice ,kind, and serve the things carefully. I really feel so good i been sad because my mom was travelling back to my country and she doesn't know she treat me nice and make my day better. I will return. I know this place for years before in another locación. The food is fresh and taste fresh. Mi comida estaba deliciosa, la mesera fue muy amable y nos atendió muy bien, con respeto y nos sentimos muy contentos.Kid-friendliness: The waitress was so kind to my son of 11 year old. Also being so nice to me and my husband. The food was delicious, fresh, and clean .I used to go there in the other locación they being before.I like it clean place.Ecuadorian food.“
“Nice and inviting locale. Nice and attentive host, the owner makes the experience feels homie. The food is superior, the Cuban coffee real. Definitely a regular place to go and take loved ones and guests. 6 stars. Viva Cuba, Viva Latin America!“
“So excited to find a real Costa Rican breakfast here!!! I lived in Costa Rica for five years, and this is the real deal. Gallo pinto, eggs, fried plantains, queso... Sooo good. Service was good, portions were generous, people were friendly, and the restaurant has incredible murals and some great Costa Rica decor. Five stars, will be back!“
