“The Huevos Rancheros and Chile Relleno were some of the best we’ve ever eaten! We enjoy traveling New Mexico for the unique style of flavors of Mexican food only found in this state! The red and green sauces were the authentic deep flavors and the salsa is zappy but flavorful. Our waitress, Leslie encouraged us to try the Calabacitas and tasty whole Borracho Beans? Both were beyond any we’ve eaten previously. Leslie gave us excellent service and was very friendly. The ambience is dated authentic adobe with bright colors and mural paintings. We highly recommend La Nuevo Casita Cafe!”

“We stopped here on our way out of Las Cruces heading home to Denver. Small, quaint, and so welcoming. The food was amazing. The breakfast enchiladas were so good. I had mine Christmas. The red chile had a nice spice and the green was so flavorful. The cinnamon pecan coffee was very good. Also, our server, Rachel was friendly, informative, and oh so nice. We definitely recommend this place. 5 stars.”

We also had the avocado toast and a slice of onion bread, both were excellent. Staff was accommodating and restrooms were clean. If you're thinking of stopping to get some delicious coffee this place is a definitive must.”

“First time trying Blake's Lotaburger. The name says it all, I got a burger and onion rings. A lota-burger came with that burger. I did not get the hatch Chile on it, although good, a bit too spicy for myself. Good flavor, well cooked. The staff were polite and professional, and had a nice atmosphere. If I had a bigger appetite I would tried the ice cream milk shakes. Not a bad place for a good, meal when you want to sit a while after a long drive.”

I ordered eggplant parmesan and my friend ordered shrimp scampi. The salad with never ending cheese and breadsticks were not delayed. The whole team was working hard and kept putting out those burgers. It took longer than usual but through out the customer complaints these guys remained as friendly as possible and very professional. Good to see them working as a team. This was my take of the situation. Good job and really good burgers. 👍😋”

“I love a reason to stop here on my way through town. They have always had the best espresso - roast it themselves. And the bagels!! The only real bagels in the region - they make them in house the right way / boiling and all. No one in the area (El Paso included) actually follows a real bagel recipe. Their pastries are great too. Would not mind if they freshened up the interior. Love this place forever.”

I got the combo which comes with one taco, two enchiladas, one relleno and some chile con carne. First of all, it came in two full plates to go, with one container completely full with beans, rice and chile verde con carne. There was a huge amount of carne. And a taco laying on top of the rice. The second container had two big enchiladas and the relleno. Then there was the bag with the sopaipilla. And the bag with chips and three kinds of salsa. I really enjoyed the food and especially the chile con carne. The green chile on everything was a delicious sauce. For $14 this is two meals, maybe more if you aren’t a big eater. It also was really quick in line. I highly recommend.”

It turns out they didn't have a tamales, so instead the money was to be refunded, but instead of refunding the entire amount, they kept the tip soda . almost 4 dollars. After checking it out she"gave" me the soda. that's inappropriate, and that's stealing. Because if you don't deliver service or products, you should return all the money that was charged. I'll never go there again.”

When I asked for the to go cup, she said the only to go cups that they had were for those take out meals and that if I wanted a to go cup for my drink, it was going to be $4.00. Needless to say, I didn’t take it and left a full drink on the table when we left. I have never, been to a restaurant where they charge me for a to go cup. “Above average Chinese Buffet. The Sushi was tasty! They have a good seafood variety. As a sesame chicken enthusiast, it was a little disappointing. It was all chewy breading and little meat. Bummer.
