“Ton Ton Katsuya is my go-to for the ultimate katsu experience, delivering authentic Japanese flavors unlike anywhere else. Occasionally, the chicken can be a tad salty, but it's well-balanced by the delectable dishes, from the salads to the miso soup and more. Be prepared for a sizable queue—arriving early is key, especially considering the preposterous wait times. The demand is so high that I've faced Uber cancellations multiple times. Hoping they expand to a larger space soon, as the two-hour wait, although a bit much, is undoubtedly worth it.“

“This place feels like an expensive strip/level sushi spot, but without the crazy price tag. The vibe is absolutely spot-on for a celebratory night out, especially one with the stakes as high as a birthday treat (in this case, it was my girlfriend's bday) The Otoro was a revelation. Honestly, it's like nothing else I've tried in Vegas, giving those authentic Japanese spots a run for their money. The flavor, the texture--just unparalleled. Chicken Karaage - know how some places just drown the chicken in breading, and it's all crunch, no substance? Not the case here. It was perfectly balanced, super juicy on the inside, and the sauce was phenomenal. The Jumbo Scallop Nigiri was another showstopper. Not kidding, it was probably one of the largest scallops I've laid eyes on in recent memory. And taste is Just as impressive as its size. But let's not forget about the Drunken Black Mussel, Albacore Nigiri, and Yellowtail Belly Nigiri. Each dish scored a solid 5 in my book, no question about it. And shoutout to John, our waiter. His service was just fantastic. Made the whole experience even better. In a nutshell, this place is a winner. From the ambiance that sets the right mood, to the divine sushi that can easily hold its own against international standards, and service that makes you feel like royalty. For a special occasion or just because, it's a must-visit.“

“After months of missing onigiri from Japan, I decided I'd give O.Onigiri a shot at satisfying my craving.O.Onigiri's menu is made up of onigirazu, so not quite onigiri. In my travels to Okinawa I haven't come across onigirazu (only onigiri) but I'll take their word on it being the "Okinawa Way". Each onigiri-type sandwich comes with egg & spam, which had I read the menu better I would have known. I am a spam and egg lover, but unfortunately my husband feels the opposite. What he did love, however was the takoyaki. I refused to explain to him what takoyaki is, so that he'd try without judgement. He loved the flavor, and they tasted just like the plates I'd ordered on the streets of Japan and Korea. The location is small, tight even. But the employees were kind and food was made fresh, right in front of us.I will be back for the onigirazu when the cravings kick in.“

“Keith Lee was definitely on to something here. The tteokbokki with cheese was an absolutely amazing dish when it was raining and cold outside. The Japanese green tea (although bottled) still tastes delicious. The spicy spam musubi had a perfect thin layer of some version of kewpie mayo and a solid chunk of spam. The gangjung chicken is easily better than Panda Express, but was a little over-breaded for my taste. The spicy sauce could have been a little spicier.Overall, this place was amazing. “Great experience! It was one of those sushi kind of days. It's tough finding a good spot out in the Southwest area. Been here a few times before the ownership transfer and no longer an AYCE spot. I was greeted immediately and sat down in a booth. Spacious and roomy. Felt comfortable and I was ready to eat. They had a happy hour menu from 4 to 6 PM. Keep in mind, that they have a 10% check-in discount on Yelp that doesn't apply to the happy hour menu. Here's what I ordered:::Soft shell crab::: standard for me at any sushi spot. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Cooked perfectly.Oyster on the half shell::: Was disappointed. The ponzu sauce and seasoning were not evenly distributed on all the Oysters. Some had no flavor.Sweet shrimp::: Standard. The deep-fried head was excellent. Salmon Nirgri::: Salmon is fresh for sure! YUM!Sea bream::: It was okay. They enjoyed their fried garlic slices with chili oil on top.White tuna Sashimi::: Yummy! No need for rice. It was perfect. Uni:::Amazing! It was fresh. Happy to have found fresh Uni in this part of town.Nirgri rice and felt it was a bit on the harder side. Shout out to the male server that took care of me. He went over the beyond. “I love this little shop! I'm so happy a Japanese store opened near my house. It's smaller than the other location, but they have sushi, assorted snacks, desserts, drinks, ramen, and condiments. There's this Japanese garlic chili oil that I love, I usually order it from Amazon or wait until a friend brings it back from Japan, but now I just go to this shop and buy it! So convenient. It's also a great place to grab a light lunch. Their California rolls are super fresh. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful if you have questions about the labels.“

“Ordered delivery on Door Dash. Everything was packaged very well, and the prices are reasonable for the portions especially these days. All of the dishes we ordered were flavorful and tasted as expected. Really love the Mei Fun. This is a solid mostly Chinese American style takeout spot. It's definitely better than the takeout spot that is closer to me so I will continue patronizing this shop.“

“Good Japanese restaurants are plentiful. Otoro is good, but not great. Its a beautifully designed restaurant with a high-end atmosphere and prime spot at the Mirage.DRINKS. The cocktail was nice and strong, not watered-down like most.ROBATA (Grill Skewers). We ordered top silrloin, scallops, octopus,Chilean seabass, mushrooms, shishito peppers and pork belly. While everything was tasty, the food was not hot (lukewarm.) I've been to robata grills elsewhere and most skewers were hot off the grill. This was our biggest disappointment.SUSHI. We ordered some nigiri: Uni, otoro (fatty tuna) and akami (lean tuna.) Nothing special. Unfortunately, my order of otoro was missed and i never got to try it.CRUDO. The hamachi (yellowtail) crudo was delicious. Crispy shallots, hibiscus ponzu, togarashi, and jalapeno. Yummy.BEST OF ALL: "The Rock." Marinated thinly sliced sirloin, where you self-cook on a 500° smoothed cooking stone/rock. It was fun and tasty. Finally, some hot food! The restaurant was dark. These are thenbest photos that my phonencould take.“

“We went to this restaurant specifically looking for a sushi chef. We were told that he works at this location and we have never eaten sushi at Kazuki even though it's not too far away from our home. When we walked in the restaurant was quite small, but it was very cozy and cute. I love that the sushi bar is the main focus and the green barstool chairs were very comfortable. The price of sushi is pretty moderate. However, I would say it is a little bit on the higher side but you pay for what you get and the fish was very fresh. There was an older gentleman that was behind the sushi bar and a woman. They were both very friendly and playful. We were making jokes that the sushi chef we were looking for was the their brother and son. The gentleman happened to be our sushi chef and I must say that his sushi presentations were beautiful. They included fresh flowers into the rolls and he even was able to give my kids just a scoop of crab meat because that's what he wanted. We have been to a lot of other sushi restaurants where they frown on that however, kids were sitting at the sushi bar and they had a great time as well. We ordered a couple of fried options. The food came out tasting fresh. You could tell that they are not just refrying food in old oil. If you like Gayosa, I would highly recommend them. They were very tasty and the dipping sauce was delicious.I also love the old-school sushi feel that I felt at this resting. Nowadays when you go to sushi restaurants, you're never offer a hot towel or oranges at the end of your meal. This place does both which I was thankful for because it really makes the experience. If you live in Southern Highlands , I would definitely check this place out. They have a large variety of rolls and the fish was super fresh. We will definitely be back to this location for sushi. Thank you so much for the great experience“

“Some friends introduced us to NeNe and we've been back several times since. It's actually become our go-to for sushi. But not only for sushi, they have excellent options for everyone in the family from the young kids to the older one and to me and my wife. The sushi is always fresh and diverse. From the basics like salmon nigiri to the brown butter scallop. My son has locked in on the black miso cod risotto and my wife's favorite is the son noodles with uni. We caught the happy hour a couple times which was nice on pricing. We get the chicken and steak skewers and basic rolls for the littles. Oh, I almost forgot the crispy rice spicy tuna!! That's on the happy hour menu too! The service has been top notch every time. It's a cute little place. We usually call ahead to see if they're busy, but so far, never had an issue getting a table. Can't say enough good things about this place!“

“Ya'll, when I tell you Tora Katsu and Curry is it, I meant it!I'm always looking for a taste of Japan around the city, I feel like I found it here. It's not very big, so if you come with a large group just keep that in mind. However, they are very accommodating! To start I ordered myself a tomomasu white peach soda and my partner got a coke (it's from the can/bottle). I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp and Soba (heads up that the soba is served chilled with a dipping sauce). A declicious little croquette was also included as well as Japanese pickles, cabbage with a dressing and a katsu dipping sauce. I'm drooling just thinking about it. For the most part the staff will hand you a hand grinder for the full experience of making your own katsu sauce. That was really unique and fun! Our server was a little busy so she did it for us. My partner ordered the Hire Pork (less fatty) Katsu and Udon. He had the same fixings as myself and we ordered a side of curry to alternate dipping in katsu sauce and that. Highly recommend that if you want to try a little bit of everything. He reported that it was indeed delicious. The general vibe I got of this place is very mom&pop- like so when you get there, make sure you're patient. The staff are incredible friendly and I can tell they are doing their best. The food was really well done, fried to perfection! If you are on the fence, go!“

“This restaurant is a seafood lovers dream! The whole concept of the place is really cool because it feels like you're eating inside of a boat. This is a Korean live seafood restaurant that specializes in raw marinated crab and sashimi. We called ahead of time to make a reservation and came a little bit early. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night and they were sold out on some of their menu items. We ordered the soy marinated crab, soy marinated shrimp, seafood pancake and the crab and pork intestines soup. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The star of the show was definitely the marinated crab. One order comes with about three crabs.I wish they had a location in California! Next time I come back to Las Vegas, I'll definitely be eating here again.“
