“Had an amazing time on Saturday night. Two different live DJ’s with a great variety of music! Finally a hip hop cafe in the Bronx! Very nice atmosphere… service was great, also nice to see the manager walking around making sure everything was okay. The food was amazing. Never had lobster Mac this good… I am an event planner for a very very well known retailer through out the world and I eat at many restaurant's and travel all over and this is one of the best lobster mac and cheese I have ever had. The wings were also cooked so perfectly and the seasoning was a thai flavored sauce. Absolutely amazing . Also, one of the only places that can make a top shelf Long Island ice tea. You’d think wow how can someone get that wrong… you’d be surprised how many bad ones I’ve had. It was a little pricey (the drink) but completely worth every penny.“

When we eventually got our food some dishes were not very hot, like they'd been sitting for a while. I had called in advance to confirm that we'd have enough time to make our 8pm ticket time for the Orchid Show but we didn't get out of the restaurant until 8:30pm, which was disappointing. We would have had dessert if there had been time, but we were already 30 mins late. I would eat here again but would allow a lot more time for my meal.“

On this day, I was invited to a business lunch and I normally don't order the steak but I took a chance. Not a great choice. Steak was subpar. I always order my steak medium. It wasn't flavorful. Green Beans and Yukon Mashed Potatoes were ok. The problem was everything came out the kitchen lukewarm and not hot. I've had plenty of steak from different restaurants and this was probably the worst. Outside of this experience, I always enjoy my time there. “It's October and you know what that means..... OKTOBERFEST!!This German girl loves her German food and takes full advantage this time of year! I saw an ad in the Bronx Times for P.J Bradys with a special Oktoberfest menu that had me salivating and I had to go!This place is a neighborhood restaurant and bar established in 1998 and is a local favorite. Their windows are all painted for fall with a colorful autumn theme and you hear the laughter and singing from the street! The atmosphere was very cool with a fun group at the bar singing all my favorite songs from Mama Mia and the 70's-80's. Our server Katherine was great and took very good care of us from beginning to end with accommodating special requests and suggestions. I like my Oktoberfest beer this time of year and they had a great one by Shipyard called Pumpkin head, they kindly rimmed a glass with honey and cinnamon and I was happy. We started out ordering their popular chicken wings with Blue cheese and ranch dip which were very good! My Oktoberfest special of Jager schnitzel came with red cabbage and Spätzle but I traded the Spätzle for the potato pancakes with apple sauce which was no problem. It also came with a home style chicken and veggie soup that was like moms with tons of chunks of chicken and savory soup. My german cuisine was a huge platter of food that was excellent! It brought me back to my childhood! We also ordered a roast beef with cheese on a roll which was so good with just right crispy French fries! I was going to order their pumpkin cheesecake but they were out due to its popularity, so I will have to go back again! Stop in this month to enjoy a full Oktoberfest menu including pot roast, Hungarian beef goulash, Wienerschnitzel, Jager schnitzel, bratwurst and more! Our waitress arrived with water and took our drink order first. We ordered a few things from the drink menu, including the Bronx berry mule, which was Delicious!! The mussels we ordered also had good flavor, the sauce really made the mussels pop. I had the harvest burger which was a deconstructed veggie burger with quinoa as a base. It was surprisingly delicious and I really enjoyed it. Thanks to my fellow peers, I also tried the lamb burger, sweet potato fries and the garlic fries. I have no complaints, they made sure you tasted the garlic in the garlic fries and the meal was packed with flavor. You can order regular fries, if you choose to. I wanted to give this place a 5 but our server left without notifying there would be a switch. Our new waiter was attentive. It did take a while to receive our meal and our appetizer came out with the meal. Overall, this place is a nice corner gem.
