“Went to Osaka Japanese restaurant and had an excellent meal with the family. The service was quick efficient and friendly ,place was not too crowded. It is quite small so I wouldn't necessarily recommend groups of more than four people, but definitely a nice place for families and friends to enjoy a good meal. We had the chicken katsu deluxe entree & The Don beef bowl with rice. Both were cooked fresh to order and very tasty. We kept our drinks to tea and sodas, for a group of 4 the meal was reasonably priced. The overall atmosphere $$ ,was mild and calm. A good place for a good meal.“

Our sever was pretty rude and made an error with my husbands order then had the audacity to role her eyes once we corrected her. We weren’t rude at all about it. It’s totally ok things happen. But don’t roll your eyes. You work in the service / restaurant industry. Then to top it off they automatically charge 18% tip to your bill. “I've been here three times with three different groups of friends and they've all loved this place. I always get sushi however one person I went with didn't eat sushi, but he loved the General Tso's chicken. They have a great assortment and diversity of selections on their menu. Their sushi is very fresh, beautifully presented and melts in your mouth. There are plenty of cooked options as well for people who do not eat sushi. The ambience is nice with a smaller sized dining room, and the service is outstanding. It's nice because the servers are on top of your meal/order without being on top of your table. The samosa chaat had the right spice level!Veg Hakka noodles is the main I got while my partner got Singapore noodles with shrimp. Needed a little bit of salt but that's easily fixed and I'd rather have less salt in a dish than too much!Partner said the shrimp was cooked beautifully in their noodles and was very flavourful.Had the ras Malai for dessert and it was really good too. Kaji is the only one spot in GC that my family and I will go for Japanese food for years and years. They have a pretty decent lunch menu and catering platter. I went here for a good dinner and was able to try a good spread of sushi for a reasonable cost.We started with the pork gyoza, which was nice and pan-fried with a side of the classic ginger sauce. I deliver for uber eats now as a side job so I'm ducking in and out of restaurants to pick up food for people. I decided to order for pick up on door dash, eventually I've got to get membership with uber eats over door dash but for now I drive for uber eats but use door dash to make use of my yearly membership. I probably should have ordered quicker so that's my own fault but when I got there my personal food was going to take awhile. I was delivering one order for uber on my lunch break. So I thought I'd have enough time to get the person their order and come back for mine before my lunch break was over but I did not and I was about ten minutes late back to my regular job. I liked the sesame tofu, the sauce was good, the rice was good too. However I did feel for a lunch special it was on the pricier side maybe because the food is kosher. The tofu was softer than I would have liked, it's hard to get a chinese place to make the tofu nice and firm like chicken but it was still good. I'd come here again if I gave myself more ordering time. Or just had time to wait for my food.“

We expected the shrimp to be larger especially for an entrée. I would recommend changing the entrée dishes to larger shrimps, and the portions were generous. I would go back and try other dishes.“
