“Ottimo ristorante di Ramen (giapponese e non quello "tarocco" o fatto con quello istantaneo del supermercato) che offre anche una fantastica selezione di ravioli. Prezzi tutto sommato accettabili per la media della città e acqua gratuita. Posto piccolo, accogliente, staff cordiale e velocissimo. Porzioni corpose quindi ordinate con cautela o non riuscirete a finire tutto.“
“The ambiance of the place, with cozy seating, set the stage for a delightful evening for aficionados of ramen. The ramen itself was a revelation: a steaming bowl brimming with uniquely rich, heartwarming broth, springy noodles, and an array of toppings that came together flawlessly.Prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a 5-star experience that I can't wait to repeat.“
“I had the chicken Tikka, garlic Naan and mango lassi. Everything was decent. Tikka masala has a decent amount of chicken and was seasoned. Garlic Naan wasn't too garlicy There is a promotion for free mango lassi with a Google review. Restaurant is clean. Service could be improved. I entered the restaurant and no one inquired about seating. It also took them some time before they came over to take our order. They did not come to check on us throughout our meal.“
“Really beautiful space with lovely food and great service. I was expecting a bit more from the food tbh for the price (not sure what though because I have no real complaint but it wasn't spectacular other than the mixed fritter appetizer which was the best tempura I've ever had). All in all 4.5 stars.“
“Great place to eat. Friendly and big portions. I have tried most things and liked them but. My go to order is the Chicken Bimbap Bowl with Tiger Sauce. They are donating a portion of sales to Annandale Baseball on Monday 4/26 and Tuesday 4/27... Just mention Annandale at the register or in the "Special Instructions" when ordering online.“
“A restaurant that needs no words!! When I was tired of eating for two weeks, I was very happy to eat Korean food. I highly recommend the LA Galbi + Soft Tofu Set. The soft tofu was medium and I liked it just right, but my husband said it would have been better if it was a level spicier.I always eat dumpling soft tofu and it’s so delicious! Thank you so much for refilling the side dishes.Even though I went at 8pm, I waited 20 minutes to get in. There were plenty of seats inside... I don't know why the wait was so long... Other than the wait, I was satisfied.“
“This location is hands-down a high-quality place. I'm currently in grad school, and this place has never failed me when I order something to go. I've tried most of the main dishes and they are all great. The food has lots of flavor and is always served hot. When I order delivery, the order is always delivered quickly and the customer service is great. I highly recommend everyone in the neighborhood give this place a try.“
“Came here on a cold Wednesday night and absolutely was blown away by their ramen. Specifically the Tabata ramen was top notch!! On the menu it notes that the Tabata ramen is spicy but it is not (I don't tolerate spicy foods well so was hesitant to order). It was amazing and the service was quick and friendly. I usually like trying different ramen places every time I get it but will definitely return and make this an UES staple restaurant for me!“
“So if you stop here definitely just be prepared to eat outside on the street. It’s small inside so know your order ahead of time. I read reviews and got the pork burger but I would say skip it. I wasn’t impressed at all and the bun is a thick sesame seed bun like a bagel. The pork and chive dumplings were delicious and worth the stop however you can get dumplings anywhere else nearby. The prices can’t be beat here! I will say you definitely get a lot for your money.“
“I went there for lunch with my colleagues, and we liked it there. With $13.99, the lunch menu has one Wantang soup and rice bowl along with a main dish. I would like to go there again because it is close to my office, and I love Sichuan food.“
“The service attitude is very good. She kept asking us if it suits our taste. I think it is very considerate. The lady has a very good service attitude. She helped us take photos and gave guidance. The food is delicious. I recommend the Pad Thai the most.“
“I am southeast asian (Cambodian), so I was very pleased to find this hidden gem in Chinatown on Mott St! The food is tasty and full of flavor, and the portion is great! I am very picky with my asian food, so when I say I approve, I approve! Come give it a try!!“
“We had an amazing dinner at the chefs table. The food was really good and they went above and beyond to accommodate a person in our party with dietary restrictions. The drinks were delicious and the service was great overall no complaints and will definitely return.“
“I came to this restaurant for dinner last night. Overall, I was not impressed and was even a little disappointed. In terms of service, I wanted to get help three times last night but could not find the waiter, and even when I waved, he did not come over to ask. I don’t understand if they had other things to deal with yesterday and were very busy, but when dining in, There were only three tables in the area where I ate. In terms of food, I learned about the Peking duck in this store from the xhs app. I went there for the Peking duck and hot stone wagyu. The wagyu was very thin. Yesterday’s waiter took a long time to fry it, and the wagyu was too thin. It started to roll up, so it wasn't heated evenly and was overcooked in the middle. Yesterday I ordered four dishes of Peking duck, sliced duck with pancake, lychee wood-smoked sliced duck, soup, and salt and pepper duck rack. The pancake was as thin as paper and elastic, which was very good. It was eaten wrapped with Peking duck and lychee. The wood smoke is very ordinary, there is no smell of lychee wood, it is just ordinary smoke. The soup is well made and not greasy at all. It also contains barley, yam and wolfberry. The most disappointing thing is the salt and pepper duck rack. I don’t know if the chef was in a hurry to cook it, but some were extremely salty and some were tasteless. I didn’t order wine yesterday, but ordered hot tea. I feel like this place is more suitable for a drink and a get-together. I can invite friends over for drinks next time, but the food still has a lot of room for improvement.“
“Upon arriving on March 14, 2024 at 6:45pm, I was 0kindly greeted by two very polite and courteous servers. The food was exceptional and so was the service. I will be going back and bringing others with me. I so appreciated the hospitality. KUDO! ❤️ ?Vegetarian options: Great meal with sesame string beans.“
“LOVEEE love mama! The staff is so friendly and the food is absolutely delicious and so authentic. We got the Thai tea, the beef rendang, peanut dumplings, and basil chicken kra pao. Everything was 11/10. Couldn’t recommend more. Will be coming back weekly.“
“Amazing food, awesome atmosphere, a must try if you are in the East Village area. The people who work there are really kind and take great care of you while you're there. I would definitely recommend the Taiwanese popcorn chicken and Signature claypot!“
“Been coming to this place for over 10 years and finally getting around to write a well deserved review. Whether it be their lunch special or dinner menu, they do not disappoint. My favorite is their dry pot dish, braised beef noodle soup, and the sweet and tangy orange beef. The appetizers are excellent as well as the typical Szechuan cuisines. Please do not change the chef and will keep coming back.“
“Quick dinner! I got the shrimp dumplings with a count of 4. The shrimp dumplings were very juicy and good! For my main entree I got the low mein with pork. The pork was not good and not cooked very much long. It had many way too fatty pieces. Otherwise the restaurant is a 7/10. So it is average. There could be better restaurants than this.“
“Had the spicy karaki pork ramen. It was so tasty, I highly recommend having it. It was absolutely delicious. When we got it, we weren't sure if we would be able to finish, but it was over in no time :) Ambiance is great too. We were meeting a friend after long and were able to make conversation. We did have to wait a good 30-40 mins before we got a table, but well worth it!“
“We hit up Phoshime, primarily to have some warm, filling food after a long cold day in the city. Phoshime had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. The ambience was okay, it wasn't very busy for seated dining. The servers were extremely friendly, attentive and polite. Our food came out quickly and was flavorful and delicious. My only complaint was that I had 3 pork bones in my noodles, 2+ inches long! I can see how this happens once, but finding 3 was excessive. I mean... you could break a tooth or choke or something if you weren't careful! Despite the bones-in-the-noodles issue the overall experience was positive and there was a lot of food for the price.“
“Went to Thai at Lex with a friend and ordered chicken pad Thai with a side order of spring rolls and thai iced tea. We had a pleasant server and enjoyed the atmosphere. The place had good traffic in the take out section and that gave me a sense that people like the food. I would definitely go again when I'm in the area.“
“The attentive staff and friendly owner set this restaurant apart from others of its kind by making me feel at home. I've enjoyed several of their chicken dishes and the vegetables are cooked nicely. If you're there at the right time you can get fresh homemade shrimp chips or a jelly dessert! Students from nearby high schools dine in as well. Would recommend a visit if you're in the area.“
“It was a little tight seating wise but also one of the only places in the area I could find with seating. The price to seating size was almost perfect and it was some of th3 best fried rice I've ever had. The dumplings I stole off my partners plate were good too :^)They have self order kiosks so if you wanted to you would t if had to talk to anyone. It was fantastic and a great place to chill out at the end of a long day of walking“
“Ban Ban Shop is a very cute fusion restaurant that opened across from Columbia University that serves a banh mi, baos, rice bowls, maki rolls, and grain bowls. 3.5 stars: I was very excited to try the banh mi here, but was lowkey disappointed. I ordered the Five Spice Roasted Pork Banh Mi. Don't get me wrong, the pork is very well seasoned/marinated and tender. Unfortunately, the baguette here is too soft, and the oil from the pork does seep through. The key to a good banh mi is the baguette - light on the inside with a thin and crispy crust. You'll know the baguette is good when the roof of your mouth gets destroyed by the time you finish it.“
“53 is a Beautiful Restaurant located right next to the Museum of Modern Art. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if your looking for an amazing asian fusion dinning experience. The restaurant is so beautiful with two very nice wide open bars. Highly recommend the Samon Carpaccio and the Dumplings! Only complaint is the menu is very small.Kid-friendliness: Im sure it wouldn't be a prpblem but definitely a high class atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: They do have an elevator but it was out of service when I went“
“(4.5 stars) Extremely attentive service, quiet and relaxed yet intricate ambience. The food was very reasonably priced (for NY prices) for modern Chinese cuisine. Favorite dish was probably the lychee shrimp balls in both taste and presentation. We also ordered the mushroom pancakes (it was ok) and Peking duck. The Peking duck was a bit smaller in portion than what we had expected (seems less than a half), and taste is also on the mid to lower end compared to other similar modern Chinese cuisines.“
“What a deliciously serendipitous surprise! Okay, so…being freshly back in NYC full time, I decided to go for a jaunt, before a scheduled yoga class - stick with me here. As I’m making my way to a near by Target to browse and bide time, I’m suddenly inspired to detour from all plans made (Target included), go further downtown and walk 14th St from 8th Ave. You with me, still?I’m walking and I stop at a favorite haunt and I pick up a new deck - follow me for more on that later. I continue on, figuring I’d walk over to St. Mark’s because it’s been forever since I’ve been in that area. I’m strolling down Broadway and what do I stumble upon? “3 Times.” Curious me, I’m intrigued, especially because 3 is my favorite number. I go in, I sit and I am ENAMORED.Y’all! The service, the atmosphere, the FOOD! You have got to try their CHICKEN SOUP DUMPLINGS and the FRIED MINI BUNS - the latter comes with condensed milk. It. Was. SO GOOD! I washed it all down with a lot of their EIGHT TREASURES CHRYSANTHEMUM TEA - YUMMMMM! Mind you, I went to the grocery store this morning, but you know…life will lead you to pleasure when you let it. I will without a doubt be returning, and with an even larger appetite. If you end up popping over to 3 Times (Broadway/Union Sq), tell them Donny sent you. If you happen to see me there at the same time as you, say heylo! ?“
“Got the eggplant dish and a bowl of rice, and it was fantastic! There was no wait on a Friday night at 7pm for two. Food came out quick and it was plenty for me and my friend. We had a Broadway show to catch and it worked out well since it’s close to Times Square. All the staff are very friendly and can provide good recommendations as well. There are plenty of vegetarian options. There is one bathroom.“
“Having returned the day before after two weeks in Japan, I was impressed (but not at all surprised) to find the food at Sushi of Gari to be just as good if not better than the high-end sushi restaurants I'd sampled. Gari set the standard for sushi in NYC decades ago and continues to amaze!“
“Been 20 years in NY, and tried tons of Ramen Shop, and devastated when i didn’t get the taste of Authenticity. And i’ve met this Japanese guy and ask, if he can recommend a taste if Japan Ramen. After i told him my experience of trying some Ramen,, and that’s it! When he told me NARUTO, you will love it, he said. And from then, i only go to Naruto“
“An underrated ramen place in Koreatown according to my taste. We had Kimchi Tan Tan, Spicy Miso Ramen, Chicken Mayo rice bowl. Kimchi tan tan with pork broth and chicken chashu was juicy and favorful. The broth is so well prepared. Same with Spicy Miso ramen with some spice. Chicken Mayo rice was ok though. The Sweet potato fries are tempting and you can go on eating it. Overall great taste and good service.“
“I was hungry at work, and I wanted something healthy and fulfilling. Looked on grubhub and said, "Let me try this place, and it was definitely worth it.The vegetable spring rolls were crunchy, and the barbecue sauce complimented the taste well.I also ordered the salmon porched bowl. The combinations of the white rice pickled radish, and cucumbers hit the spot. This is a dish well worth a come back.I look forward to trying other items.“
“Food ranges from average to great. They've got all the basics but my favorite by far is the Sichuan spicy chicken. Crispy, a little spicy, beautifully aromatic. The skin on their dumpling dishes were all a little overcooked. Service is readily available and quick. We had a reservation for a large group on a weeknight and were immediately seated. Restaurant was empty when we arrived (630ish) but was pretty busy by the time we left (8:30ish).“
“This is pure theatre. For the best experience, get involved and talk with your chef. Loads of fun!I'm docking one star because the cooking extractor didn't seem to work very well, and after the meal, all our clothes smelled strongly of hot cooking oil. “
“Always go there every Chinese new year with Chinese martial arts instructors as well as other Chinese speaking people, and one of only two places I would ever go to.Food is amazing, always fresh and good tasting.Service is always professionalAtmosphere is very down to earth and friendly.A complete gem and something I always look forward to when visiting my Asian friends.“
“We had a WONDERFUL time at Mala Project this week. Our server, Kyle, was extremely helpful in recommending ‘must haves’ for our appetizers, dry pot and, of course, drinks. We planned for only a quick bite to eat, but the atmosphere was so welcoming, we ordered more drinks and hung out for a while. Highly recommend this restaurant!“
