“Was here for a Birthday Brunch. The staff is accommodating and were on top of things. The place is not very big but it is comfortable. The prices are good. I loved the artwork here. The music was good. I had the Ceviche de Camaron. It was good and very fresh but it was too fruity and sweet for my first meal of the day. Later on I had Tostones that came with 3 sides. It was ?. I liked the fact that you could order from either the Brunch menu or the regular menu. Be aware that gratuity is added on to the bill. Both menus have good options. The atmosphere here is lively but not wild. It is good for all age groups. I would recommend checking it out.“

“Awesome Experience! The Staff was awesome, The food was awesome & they complied with my request of no added salt to our food. Some restaurants get testy when you ask them about this but apparently they understood it & i didn't have to explain anything. We all had Pollo Salteado with a bunch of sides. Their food tasted awesome! This became our new go to for Peruvian Dishes! Only thing we have left to try is the Chicha Morada we forgot to get some. Next Visit see ya'll soon!Vegetarian options: They have Veggie Versions of some of their Peruvian Dishes apart from just getting vegetables.Dietary restrictions: We asked for no salt on our main dishes but truth be told their food is decently seasoned not over done and the regular food we had wasnt salty.Parking: Its close to the Bus stop & its Queens Blvd but Meter Parking comes after it. Hard to park here on a week day before 4pm but if you are ok to walk the side blocks are easier.“

“wanted to check out a speakeasy while in town and came across the newsroom on tiktok, due to their “stuff your own empanada experience”. nestled in a quiet area of queens, with easy access.lovely speakeasy ambiance with an aerialist performer & live vocal performances. the music they play is all jazzy covers of hit songs, so it fits the vibe so well.the empanadas and the filet mignon taquitos, were so tasteful and delicious.they give you a very decent amount of time to be there, in order to make room for more people. our server Alberto couldn’t have been kinder and more accommodating to our preferences & needs while there.would recommend this to anyone looking for a laid back speakeasy outside of the hustle and bustle of the major city or times square.“

“Most food is great (sandwiches, salteñas, drinks, desserts) but certain things (like mac and soup) need SALT. The rice pudding is quite sweet but good if you eat warm. The portion size is laughable though.... like 3.5-4oz. Prices are about $1-2 higher than you expect for each item. Fried chicken sandwich is starting to taste like it's fried in old oil. And on the BLP website delivery is free BUT you are still hit with a $3.50 "service fee", which is the restaurant's for using a delivery service. But on Grubhub+ the same service fee applies AND prices food is higher! So even with free delivery it will be higher. I ended up paying over $40 for food for 1. Service is great, music is great, even if loud. I hope they create a better price point for the neighborhood they serve and make the sides as good as the main stuff!“

“I started coming to Ix in 2015 because it was so close to one of my favorite yoga studios! It was more if a cafe back then, but I watched it grow over the years into what it is now: a full fledged restaurant with events and musical guests. The staff creates such a family environment, it doesn't take too many visits for them to start recognizing you. The food at Ix is hearty, satisfying and an absolute journey of flavor profiles that are difficult if not impossible to find anywhere else in the city. I bring people here all the time and it has never disappointed. My favorite dishes are the hot figs and any/all of the soups.“
