“I’ve been coming to Rolo’s since they first opened and they really never disappoint. The food just gets better and better. Everything is amazing but my hands down favorite is the shrimp. I’d say it’s easily some of if not the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. The whole menu just compliments itself from the Calabrian chili butter to the wagyu steak. Also, Sitting in the back of the restaurant is such a cool experience because you get to watch the chefs work their magic on that wood fire grill. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in NYC and in my top 5.“

We had the tacos, bone marrow, Short rib, bass entree, scallops appetizer, and the rice pudding. Meat was juicy and smoked. Scallops were the softest most pure flavor I’ve had in a while and the spice completely opened up my palate. The bass with its accompanied salad was extremely intricate and well thought out to connect the two. Highly HIGHLY recommend Claro. Definitely coming back to explore the mezcal side of the menu.“

But the dining room is high ceiling and convivial, and the staff is allowed to sport their personalities, which is welcome.“

Duck pastrami hash & poached eggs, caramelized onion, parsley salsa verde & local greens. Poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the salsa was great. The duck and the hash was other worldly. Tons of duck. In almost a stew of small potatoes perfectly softened. In some type of gravy. Wow. Even the greens are great. Nice light dressing. Almost salty. Service was friendly and attentive. My daughter said her avocado toast was excellent. I don't make it to Brooklyn that frequently but can't wait to go back to this great spot. I didn't drink that day but they had a nice looking and well stocked bar.“

They made me a pisco sour from last season's menu and followed it up with the Mai Tai. Both were good, better than good even. They use a vegan foaming agent instead of egg white, if that sort of thing matters to you. Average price around $19/drink at the time of this writing. The rest of the staff was attentive and friendly. The music was a bit loud for 4:30PM on a Tuesday. Bathroom was clean.“

The women's restroom has a lounge with beautiful vanity mirrors. The pasta a la presse was a highlight of the night because it was delicious but also because it was prepared table side with an explanation of its origin. The bread for the table had a lot of variety and was delicious. For my entree I had the lobster which was beautiful and tasted divine. The baked Alaska is a must for dessert since it's set ablaze at the table! If you're having trouble making a reservation we were able to secure ours with the Dorsa app.“

“Ate at Chama Mama in the Upper West side last January at a friend's recommendation, and it was my first time tasting Georgian Cuisine. It was great! I got the basic Khachapuri and the Khinkali (Georgian dumplings), and both came in big servings. They were both delicious as well, and the person at the counter also shared how to eat the dishes the traditional Georgian way. Would highly recommend!“

We walked in without a reservation and they got us in right away and everyone was so helpful finding us a drink that we would like. Their menu is huge so that was a big help. This is a must stop for anyone that loves cool Polynesian bars, (they also talk about how they’re trying to build on the experience of tiki, and acknowledge that tiki is appropriated and they are trying to improve and pay homage to it). They kept telling us it was “a couple of minutes away” and since we were strapped for time to reach another appointment, we asked if we could just skip that dish if it was going to take so long. The waiter didn’t seem to appreciate that, and kept reiterating that it was a few minutes away.The cauliflower was good but not worth a 30 minute wait. Seafood dishes tasted fresh and the Beef Tongue Curry was delicious! Also had the Ebi Katsu which was 10/10. Dishes are good portions for sharing comfortably between 2/3 people.Funnily enough, didn’t get pictures of the yakitori, but definitely recommend the gizzards, hearts, or oyster—super tender, well-grilled, and seasoned.I think experience could definitely be shaped by what you order so it’s nice they have a nice variety of dishes to choose from.Dietary restrictions: They did ask about allergies after confirming our selections.“

For the quality that's unbeaten. Also the Dry Aged burger is what everyone talks about here, we had it and I'll say there is a reason for it.
