“I can't recommend this place highly enough. The owner is super friendly and the entire staff is very accommodating and professional. They all make the effort to ensure that everyone enjoys their dining experience. I've been there a few times and have always enjoyed the quality of the food. Definitely check it out!“
“Great place to have seafood . Food is very delicious . I had a dragon roll which was good size . Bass was melting in my mouth and buttery but lacked seasoning. Fries very good size but not crispy. They need to work on fries . Greek salad was more of tomato salad than Greek salad . Lacking major Mediterranean elements .Dietary restrictions: Kosher“
“Vegetarian options: They definitely had them!Kid-friendliness: We were able to bring my six week old niece. The restaurant was quiet and calm, the baby slept straight through our family’s meal and we didn’t feel weird about having the kid at all“
“Got a pastrami and a corned beef sandwich. Wow. Very tender and very flavorful. The mustard was also delicious. Will absolutely be coming back for more. Absolute must try if you like Jewish deli sandwiches. The family that runs this place is also very nice.“
“I brought a group of customers here for a dinner and could not have been more impressed. The service was not only excellent but also proactive (as in they brought us appetizers to hold us over until we could pick our appetizers, all without even being asked). The food was also top notch and overall very reasonably priced for a fleishik place. I will absolutely be bringing more clients here in the future!Dietary restrictions: Kosher meat“
“Best Matbucha sauce / Dip in history. Better than anything I've ever found in Israel. Their Branzino is amazing, Date Fruit chicken, Shawarma, Chimmi Churi Chicken, Brisket, Stuffed Peppers, Chicken Poppers, Baxsh meat rice is out of this world. Best Morroacan Israeli meat Kosher restaurant ever. ALON is a master Chef. This place is a 10 Stars for catering take out.“
“I'll be honest everything was nice and good except 1 thing. They did give us a free dessert for the review, fine, but tg bc the dessert they gave was not up to par with the rest of the meal. It was not much more than an overdone brownie. Cast a minor shadow over the night tbh. In conclusion, food, service good, dessert, not.“
“We come here about once a week at the request of our children. The food is always consistently good and you really can't get better kosher deli food anywhere else in Nassau County. The remodel really spruced up the restaurant and added a nice modern look which definitely attracts younger people. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here. Food comes out quickly and is always delicious. We love the burgers, pastrami sandwiches, hot dogs and wraps. The waiters here are so attentive and very nice!“
“I ordered food for an event at my house for 50 people. I was helped by Roman and he was a pleasure to work with. He gave me suggestions on what to choose and how much I would need. We went with hot pass around appetizers, wrap/sandwich platters, salads, fruit and cookies. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious!! I will definitely be ordering again!“
“I've lived in NYC for over ten years and this is the best tasting pizza I've found so far. The pizza man there, Ciro makes delicious pizza every time, and, speaking from personal experience, he makes it the way it should be made. Handsome guy too. I recommend you go visit.“
“Yes, this is one of the more expensive steakhouses in the 5T BUT I enjoyed everything about it. The ambience was great - quiet and nice lighting. Tried out a bunch of items on the menu and thought each one was excellent! Steak was made perfectly, which is probably their go-to product.“
“This was one of the most delicious experiences I’ve had. I’m vegetarian and the appetizers were flavorful, and each unique in taste. The main dish I had (cauliflower shawarma on frena bread) was also flavorful and filling. Ah, and the hummus was unbelievable. The young lady that served us was super hospitable and knowledgeable about the dishes, and recommended some great options. Can’t wait to go back there again.“
“Since moving to the area, Nana's is one place that is consistently fantastic and everyone I bring here raves about it. Simple, yes, but freshly made, flavorful, and healthy isn't always easy to find when you're trying to grab a quick bite.I think the way the menu is laid out is a bit confusing if you've never been. Once you understand how to navigate that, it's smooth sailing. My regular order is the Mu'shwarma, pita or platter depending on how I feel that day. I am pescatarian and love that they don't use artificial fake meat, but this dish is just really well flavored mushrooms. Their platters are great because you can choose so many sides, and they REALLY stuff their pitas, so I think either one works, depending on what mood I'm in. If you get the platter, you can choose pita or pita chips on the side. Their pita chips are fresh and the best I've ever tasted. I'm not usually a drink gal, but I love their Limonana so I do order it quite frequently. Very refreshing and made with all fresh ingredients. Not overly sugary or anything. I've tried a bunch of their salads/salatim and they are all amazing, but the Babaganoush is a MUST. I'm not always a fan of the dish because of the texture but theirs is the best I've ever had. So flavorful and fantastic. Any of the spicy salads (spicy tomato) are actually quite spicy, so be aware. There isn't so much of an ambiance here as there's 1-2 tight tables and it's definitely more of a to go place, although I have dined in and eaten outside when weather permits. There is no table service. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but I can often stretch one of their meals to 2 and the ingredients are so fresh and so delicious, so it is worth the price. Don't expect any $7 street cart pitas here though! I've taken my parents and several friends and everyone that has been has only raved about how fresh and delicious it is, so it's a must go to and a neighborhood staple for me.“
“What a great bakery. The meat pies were fantastic, and also the pumpkin hand pies. Very flavorful and filling. I was on a Queens tour (from Albany) and was able to get behind the scenes of the kitchen and how they make the breads. Very cool! It was wonderful to see the process and the oven used for baking the meat pies and bowl like different sized breads. It was off the beaten path, and it is so worth visiting.“
“I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, and the service was exceptional. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality offered. While the food was a bit inconsistent, with some dishes shining while others fell short, overall, it was a very good experience. I would definitely “
“Nice simple place to gether with family and friends. I tried dozens of our russian diners in Queens, this particular place is #1 for Lagman, Lagman is extremely good, made with hand-made noodles and very delicious, decent portions. I tried lamb samosa their samosa looks beautiful but has little more onions than meat inside, Pilov was made well very delicious.real Uzbek pilov cooked on open wood fire, here pilov tastes better than most other places. They have better cooks. Good looking plates and silverware, perfect service, 5 stars overall ✨“
“Fastest fast food in Five Towns!Had a 40 minute drive ahead of me, and thought it would be a good idea to stop and grab some supper to go. This place is neat and clean. No long lines waiting for food (or to PAY) like other places in Five Towns. I told the guy behind the counter that I need a generous food portion to eat while I'm driving. So he suggested the shawarma laffa. When he asked what I want inside, I said the 'works'. By the time I filled up my salad container and washed hamotzi, the laffa was ready to go. Eating it before it gets soggy is the key to success with this. Because if it happens, it'll be a mess. This shawarma laffa was a magnificent cylinder of craftsmanship filled with shawarma, salad, fries, fried onions, chumus, and more. And it was wrapped so well, that I could peel it a little bit at a time and eat while driving. One hand on the wheel, the other holding the laffa. The skill employed by the staff to make this and speed at which you can be served makes this one of the most underrated fast food joints in Five Towns.“
“We had lunch with friends total 4 people, salmon, chicken wings and lamb kebab were all delicious, bread and hummus were tasty too.Service and environment were great! This is our second time to come here, definitely will come back again!!“
“I've been going to Elite Pizza for years, and I've always been impressed with the quality of the food. The pizza is my favorite, but I've also had the pasta, sushi, and sandwiches, and they've all been delicious. The crust is always thin and crispy, and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. The service at Elite Pizza is also excellent. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and they're always happy to make recommendations. The atmosphere at the restaurant is casual and relaxed, so it's a great place to go for a casual meal with friends or family.Overall, I highly recommend Elite Pizza to anyone looking for delicious kosher pizza.“
“Came here with my family for lunch. We loved it! Charming and relaxing atmosphere, kind and efficient service, and most importantly: the food was so delicious and reasonable. We especially loved the samsa, achik-chuk, and lagman. 5 stars, no notes.“
“I heard a lot about this pizza place so I decided to take the drive from Connecticut to taste it and let me tell you I wasn't disappointed the pizza here is amazing as well as the fries and the fried dough if you're ever in the area don't go to any other pizza place than this one“
“Excellent food, service, and ambiance! Was in the area the other day, searched for Avocado Toast and it did not disappoint!! It was incredibly difficult to find, since the store is not labeled outside, but when I did, I went inside and the menu is updated from what is currently on Yelp. The staff were all very friendly, and accommodating. The flavors were totally unique and cannot wait to visit again!!“
“I've frequented this place several times, often with large groups. The service consistently impresses with its friendliness and attentiveness. Our go-to orders typically include Cali Poppers, Margarita pizza, Fettucine Alfredo, and more, all of which never disappoint. It's become our go-to spot for celebrations, and we plan to keep coming back for more happy occasions.“
“I went here for Hanukkah to get some fresh made latkes and was very pleasantly surprised by the size and how delicious they were. I tried both the traditional potato and the falafel latkes, along with a tray of assorted bourekas. Everyone loved all of the delicious goodies from Geffen!“
“One of the rare kosher eateries I'm aware of serves cheeseburgers, which is a unique find. However, sometimes they can be a bit soggy. It's essential to enjoy them right away to fully appreciate their delicious flavor.Parking: Parking right in front is meter parking until night time perhaps 6/7pm, depending on how many people are out could need to double park to run in and just grab the food“
“Great food especially the laffa's but beware they include a mandatory 18% tip in the bill and then give you a additional receipt asking if you want to give a tip for 18%, 32% ect.. not mentioning that they already included 18% on the bill!“
“Very convenient location and fast service. The older gentleman at the counter taking our orders was super nice which helped us be patient while he struggled to put in our orders. The food was fantastic all around, I have absolutely zero complaints. It smelled so good in there (air freshener) I couldn't even smell the food cooking which made me nervous but I had nothing to worry about because it ended up being great. I especially loved the cinnamon on the grilled pineapple. The rice bowl was well balanced and seasoned to perfection. I could continue to rave about this place but you can just try it for yourself. P.S my friend said her left overs of the rice bowl was a bit greasy so I recommend eating everything fresh although that may be hard because it's a hefty serving of food.“
“Visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening. It was very busy. We ordered a whole pizza pie, which was ready in minutes. The cost was high, but for kosher pizza it makes sense. Food was great. Highly recommend for a good kosher pizza.Parking: Metered parking during the business week. Weekends are free. May have to park a block away during busier times.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly. Lots of seating for families.“
“Best pizza in Queens (especially the Gary Pizza)!! I come for their "you think it, we make it" attitude and service! Ask for Aaron, he's the best there is! Always helpful and with a smile. Plus their cinnamon sticks and cookies n' cream dessert pie are mouth watering!“
“Really good fast food, literally fast everything came at once smoking hot potato skins, dyno ribs, chiken wings, meat pizza (pulled beef). Corn muffins side and green beans so good. I took corn muffins home and had them 2 days later from microwave, still good! Everything, including drinks under $120-130. Beef jerky, $15/pack Really taste amazing but for some reason I had diarrhea 2x from beef jerky alone, not bad just something off with it. Definitely coming back!“
“Wow, my new favorite indian restaurant.Massive vegetarian selection. I tried the samosas which were good. but their garlic naan was the best bread ive ever tasted. Super fresh and fluffy, yet crispy. I ate the chana masala which was above expectations. The flavors were great and everything tasted freshly made.Service was ok, the employees were attentive and helpful.I will definitely be back. Very well run establishment in the heart of jackson heights. The actual restaurant vibe is ok, seats could be upgraded they are not very comfortable, the place was clean, restrooms were clean and ventilated. The doors need to be cleaned but the restroom itself was very clean which is always a good sign! Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian options like most indian cuisine. Any vegetarian or vegan will find plenty of options that taste fantastic!“
“Some of the best Georgian and Russian food in NYC. Everything I've had here is bursting with flavor and the soups never disappoint. Fried pelmeni from the side orders is my favorite appetizer and the boneless chicken breast Shish Kabob is some of the best chicken I've eaten in my entire life. While not "cheap" everything on the menu is great value. It's one of the most affordable restaurants in the city and the quality is amazing.“
“This place is my go to when visiting my parents. This food is delicious! We usually order platters to go. Our favorites are the steak, kofta kabab, baby chicken, and chicken breast. The staff is so nice they even helped walk my large order to my car.“
“I celebrated my graduation today in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a phenomenal evening and the restaurant was certainly one of the reasons for this outstanding evening. The crew cooperated in a very nice manner, the food was appetizing and my friends were very cheerful. We shall absolutely come back again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.“
“Great quality in terms of flavor and healthiness. I like how they provide just the right amount of meat and load their sandwiches with veggies. The staff are very friendly. Really a gem of a place hidden in a hole in the wall next to the LIRR station and overpass.“
“Very pleasant experience. The entire family enjoyed it. The food was fresh and tasted great. There was food for all ages. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The portion sizes were large. The menu has many options. The dining area was very clean.“
“My friend and I visited the restaurant on Saturday night and were pleased to find ample street parking. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated. We were most impressed by the soup - it was delicious! The rest of the menu was also good, although the portions were a bit small for the price. The tea and the dessert were both delicious! The tea came in a small, adorable kettle with two cups, enough for two people, and it was only $4 !I enjoyed my dessert, Lavsh, which was something I had never heard of before, but it was really good. The only downside was the inclusion of a 20% service fee already added to the bill - this type of business should not charge a 20% fee. A more reasonable 12% service fee should be included, and customers can add extra if they feel it is deserved.Overall, the restaurant was a great place with a good location. The food was affordable and tasty, and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, a more reasonable service fee should be included on the bill, as customers should be given the choice to reward the staff more if they feel it is deserved.“
“I absolutely love Traditions. This traditional (lol) yet revolutionary eatery blows my mind and taste buds every time I walk in the door. Whether you order the fantabulous pastrami kiev, which combines their fabulous deli with fantastic chicken breast, or a classic and custom triple decker deli sandwich, you wont leave dissatisfied- or hungry. While the restaurant is a bit busy for my preference, I cant blame anyone for coming here.“
“From a longtime customer at the old location who had been away for about 20 years it was delightful to come back to Woodrow and find the food, the service, and the staff even better than I remembered it. Terrific experience I will return. Thank you, Woodrows.“
“I went in to take my wife out for a bite on Sunday night. The food all freshly made from the sandwich to the fries and the southern fried chicken. I got the pastrami with chicken sandwich and it is good for 2 meals. The fries were not oily neither the regular nor the sweet potato. The wait for the food was not long at all. My wife ordered the special 2 piece chicken with fries. Slushies were good despite my brain freeze. The staff behind the counter explained the sandwich menu very simply and was very courteous and kind. Kudos. Please stop in and you won't be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free fried chicken fingers. Kosher everything“
“Wow was I surprised by this place. Went with a girlfriend for lunch and had a great time. We got the Shurpa soup, it only had one piece of meat in it so even though it's cooked with beef & lamb, you don't get both. The fresh herbs in it were delicious! We also got the fresh homemade salad and Korean carrot salads which were both good and grew on you as you eat them, so they just get better during the meal. The steamed dumplings were good and the kabobs were so good! We eat got 3! We stayed for probably close to 2.5 hours and the restaurant didn't mind. It's a great place to meet up with an old friend and catch up on life!“
“This place is one of kind. My dad, who passed away, 3 years ago studied for his actuarial exams here in the 80s. My family and myself frequently come here for pizza and Israeli food. This place brings back so many fun memories of my childhood. My son loves the pizza here. The falafel tastes great, coating is nice light and flaky, like many other falafel, I’ve eaten. Prices remained reasonable throughout all of these years. Planning on coming here as long as this place is opened.“
“I recently visited Art of Grill and was blown away by the exceptional service! Our server Nelly was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. She made great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The team's attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel valued and comfortable. While the food was delicious, the service truly made our dining experience stand out. We'll be back!"“
“We have loved this place for a long time because of its cozy atmosphere and amazing menu. However, since it came under the new management (same great owners), the place became absolutely superb. The food is prepared to perfection. Everything is tasty and delicious. The ambience created by the recent renovations is even more welcoming than it used to be. The owners, managers and staff are very honest, considerate and accommodating. Last, but not least, their prices are very competitive and affordable. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We recently hosted a family event for approximately 40 people there, and everybody was extremely satisfied. It’s a perfect place for a date night or a big family gathering.“
“Vecselberg's is magnifique yet comfortable, but don't surprised if the only XY (apart from you perhaps) in the place is the proprietor's spouse who's also the chef. Their off-the-menu iced teas are delicious, as their paninis, salads, sandwiches, baked goods, et al. Established in 2004, it's a warm, inviting, heimish, intimate and savory eatery further enhanced by the small painting of the Lubavitcher Rebbe's smiling countenance welcoming you.“
“It was absolutely a pleasure. The place was beautiful, and the ambience was great. The service was out of this world. I really felt prioritized, and of course, one of the most important things the food was spectacular. Definitely recommend for a group event or a date or just a night out.“
“Great fresh sushi and friendly staff. Definitely recommend for anyone that wants sushi at a good price point. The meat/chicken menu is also tasty. If I could review every time I pick up food for my family I would be leaving multiple 5 star reviews per month.“
“I've been enjoying the grilled cheese sandwich with mozzarella and tomato nearly every day, except Saturdays when they're closed. It's consistently delicious, especially when paired with their refreshing freshly squeezed orange juice, which I simply can't get enough of. Also, another recommendation is if you come early enough you can enjoy the blueberry crepes they make early in the morning. Everything truly tastes delicious. Artur the owner is always there making sure all the food is fresh and service is top notch. Thank you :-)“
“This was one of the top 2 dinners we had both in the City and in the Hamptons this week and was also the least expensive. We couldn’t believe they have Chilean Sea Bass kabobs, and they are only $13 or $20 for a meal. Excellent. Also the dumpling chicken broth dill soup, baklava, hummus, pickles, fries, hot tea- literally everything was fresh and prepared to perfection. As other reviewers have written, this is a hole in the wall find, and I would come all the way to Queens to eat here again! Very near JFK. Service was fairly quick, clientele mostly large families, takes credit cards. Wonderful Israeli/middle eastern cuisine in a very casual atmosphere at very reasonable prices!“
