“From the moment we stepped in, our dining experience at Barnea was exceptional. The exquisite food tantalized our taste buds, and the top-notch service, led by server Reuben and manager Anthony, elevated our evening. Every dish was a masterpiece, and the attentive staff ensured our every need was met with a smile. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Barnea to anyone seeking a truly memorable dining experience.“
“Amazing, uncomplicated food that's tasty and really good value. The challah bread is particularly good, and I love the potato soup. It's also a very welcoming place to eat if you're on your own - just take a seat at the counter!“
“I was so tired so I grabbed the first thing I saw that looked familiar instead of reading the menu or checking out comments. It was beyond burger, which was delicious. After I ordered I saw crab cakes that looked yum, I wish I tried those too. They also had a bunch of desserts that looked good, but I can't eat that much at once. So if I'm ever back in New York I'm definitely coming there again. Service is really good, nice people working there, order ready fast! I definitely recommend this place.“
“I have never tasted Chinese cuisine as delicious as this before. The intricate blend of flavors, the perfect balance of spices, and the presentation of the dish are simply phenomenal. It's an experience that is both satisfying to the palate and visually appealing. Truly the best Chinese cuisine I have ever had the pleasure of trying!“
“We stumbled upon it by chance, wandering around the area and entered attracted by the menu. The place is special, the girls who serve the tables are really thoughtful and kind. Very good fries and also the salmon burger sandwich, good, plentiful and not overly seasoned like everything else in these parts.“
“We were a group of 25 with a preset menu of 4 selections. The service was very friendly, the meals were delicious and service was great. We had a birthday to celebrate and you joined us in song and music. Thank you for a memorable lunch with our visitors from Israel.“
“The food was the best. I have never had anything like this in my life and it's truly amazing. The steak melts in your mouth and it filled my stomach with joy. And the desserts where do I even start everything was masterfully crafted and made with love. You can tell that the chefs really care about every dish that they make and take pride in it too. Also the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Also the vibe was really cool we are in these barrels which had a nice atmosphere and further played into the overall experience of this steakhouse.“
“Came here for a late dinner double date as we were craving Indian food, and it really hit the spot! They have a wide array of vegetarian and vegan Indian classics. The menu is presented on an iPad which was interesting. I tried the kadai paneer masala (which tasted like a chicken tikka masala with paneer instead of chicken). The flavors were incredible. I also tried some of my partner's Hakka noodles with vegetables (Manchurian), which was filling and had delish. The interior is clean and decor was aesthetically pleasing. Service was kind and they let us stay past the official closing time.“
“Phenomenal vegan fare but its so much more than that.Vlad is an excellent host who really focuses on a fostering a real sense of community, encouraging evenings that focus on muscicians, writers, activists or just hanging out and having a good time!“
“We live in nearby Dobbs Ferry, we have came by a few times for special occasions (birthdays, valentines, etc) and have not been disappointed. I wasn’t sure if Gluten Free, Non-Dairy and Kosher would taste different, for their cakes you hardly notice any difference than one that is not those things. It’s not an inexpensive place as evident by their locations but you get an excellent product from them which makes them worth going to.“
“It was worth standing in line for half an hour that stretched around the block!!! The line moves quite quickly, you get a note that you keep and pay according to what is written on it at the end. At the stand, they let you taste the meat so that you can decide beforehand what to take. We took the classic pastrami. It's just a huge sandwich! We shared it, so the price in my opinion was not terrible, but keep in mind that it is almost 30 dollars for a sandwich. In our opinion it was worth it. The pastrami melts in your mouth and the pickles they make are excellent. There is a lot of fat in this so be prepared.“
“Excellent upscale restaurant. Carefully curated ambiance, artfully intentional menu, quality service with tip already included in the food price so there is no request made for a tip.If you get a chance to chat with Mike himself, do so! He is lovely to speak with and can explain the menu items and ambiance better than anyone.“
“Real italian restaurant. The best kosher pizza in nyc. Small place so if you plan to go, you should reserve a table first.Don’t go after 9pm or your dish will be sloppyVegetarian options: Everything is made with cream/milkParking: You can find a spot in the street easily“
“We checked out Noi Due Gelato - was worth every penny, every calorie, every gram of fat! The staff were so attentive and charming, and we got to taste test some of the flavors we weren't sure about committing to. I would recommend and even tell dieters "YOLO!" A terrific occasional treat to splurge on!“
“Excellent service and atmosphere. Good background music and very pleasant hostess. Steak was perfect with a nice crusty pepper salt top and pink center. Wish they included some crusty bread and a mash potato option. Fries make a good steak cheap.“
“My experience at Mocha Lux was overall quite enjoyable. We started out at the bar, which was a nice way to begin while waiting for our entire party to arrive. Once we were all together, we were promptly seated. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere added to the dining experience. However, one point of criticism would be the frequency of staff check-ins. While it's great to receive attentive service, the staff coming over too often to ask about our experience and if they could take away dishes made us feel a bit rushed at times.Despite this, Mocha Lux still offers a great dining experience with excellent food and a pleasant ambiance.“
“Had dinner at Rothschild TLV this evening and it was incredible. Tal, the owner/chef/amazing person, greeted us as we walked in. Dalmina took over taking care of our table and was beyond incredible. She even catered to our almost two year old son, which was really over the top. The food was breathtaking both by presentation and taste. This is by far the most beautiful and elegant restaurant in Manhattan, let alone the five boroughs. Highly recommend this restaurant to one and all!“
“This was hands down one of my best dining experiences in recent memory. My friend and I came here to celebrate our recent birthdays. We had no idea that it was a vegan restaurant, but it didn't matter because the food was beyond amazing; the atmosphere and decor were great (LOVE those little minimalist Italian-designed lamps on the tables); and the service was the best I've experienced in years! Full disclosure: I'm a bit of a carnivore, but their udon shitake special is nothing short of heavenly. My friend had the raw sampler platter and also enjoyed it immensely (we should have taken photos). We enjoyed freshly-made sangria with our meal, courtesy of our server, Enrique. He was a revelation, with such a great sense of humor that we were laughing like old friends, plus he told us there's live music later in the evening. They're definitely getting a return visit!!“
“Great Laffa, feels like israel, with the salads and fries.I’m vegan, but the Shawarma and the breaded chicken (schnitzel) looks amazing!Give it a try, try all the salads!Vegetarian options: I eat laffa or pita with hummus, salads, and fries. And fries on the side comes with almost every dish, when you dine in.Dietary restrictions: With so many options and veggies, you’ll surly find something for everyone and anyone.“
“I think this restaurant is a true gem in New York City. I went with some friends from Who are Kosher. I personally do not keep kosher and always assume that I will not enjoy a kosher restaurant as much. This restaurant went above and beyond my expectations, food, atmosphere and service. Food was amazing and as good as any highly rated, unkosher restaurant out there.I would definitely come back again whether or not I was with a group that needed to eat kosher. I have already recommended it to other orthodox friends and familily members.Parking: I was able to park on the street right nearby for free. Doesn’t mean everyone will be able to do that but there is a good chance.“
“We ate there two Shabbats in the last month.Excellent foodExcellent service .Ephraim the owner is there and takes care of everyone.Reasonable price for a very good Saturday night dinner(New prices are expensive). In short, delicious, nice and worth every dollar.with appetite“
“Delicious fast casual Mediterranean food.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options to choose fromDietary restrictions: Check with the server, they have items that work for allergen restrictions.Parking: Hard to find parking in the street.Kid-friendliness: Plenty to choose from for kids, but no set menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, seemed accessible.“
“Love Effy’s! The lattes are divine - a secret gem and perfect way to start the meal. We got the Middle Eastern breakfast and the labneh and beets were so fresh and delicious. We also go the Italian Omelette which came with a decadent side salad! The service was fantastic and attentive. We took a smoothie to go which was the perfect dessert. Highly recommend!“
“Very tasty breakfast with a large selection. We were here every morning to start the day. French toast and bagels are highly recommended! Also a smoothie to go ? very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. As you can see, we would love to come back!“
“What can I say Buddha Bodhi never f**king miss!!! Try everything there's truly nothing that's not incredibly delicious. I've come here with small groups and large groups and it's always a crowd pleaser. Especially recommended all porridges and the szechuan (vegan) beef! They have a fair amount of gluten options, my friend has celiacs (highly sensitive) and when she ate here there were a decent selection for her and she felt fine afterwards. Service staff was also very attentive and compassionate when we asked about their gluten free menu. A blessing to have good vegan Chinese food in NY to appreciate anytime I want!“
“Words cant describe how well our experience went with UN Plaza Grill. The whole staff, but especially Ali, pampered us from the moment we walked in. Ali was attentive and courteous, made excellent recommendations, and was very personable and warm. The rib eye steak was incredible and the beef and barely soup was creamy and delicious. We all had an excellent experience with UN Plaza Grill. Thank you Ali for a warm reception. Look forward to coming back soon!“
“I love the cozy vibe this restaurant has. The portions are pretty big (not complaining) and the pho is delicious. The only thing I don't like is how bland the rice is and that this place uses microwaves with every dish. (I saw the staff use it and it explainswhy the food is always piping hot). Overall I will be back only for the pho.“
“Such a great restaurant! Kinda pricey, so I just got a burger but it was excellent. Well cooked, warm and flavorful. Sit down restaurant, great atmosphere and our waiter, Paris, is awesome! Super cool do and attentive! Recommend the restaurant and will be back!“
“The food was absolutely amazing. For reference I got a pink lemonade, Buffalo wings which came with carrots, celery, and dip. My mom got French toast with bacon, homefries and a green power smoothie. It all had so much flavor, and the texture of the wings was perfect. Would definitely return to this place. Staff was friendly too.“
“This is an iconic and go to spot in the Lower East Side to have a sweet or savory (or both) knish! I always make the walking trip to order a sweet potato or apple strudel knish to start my morning or have as an afternoon snack. I find comfort in getting it warmed up at the ideal temperature so I can easily bite in and enjoy while sitting at a nearby park or walking and snacking. The cashier I usually see is very kind and makes sure the knish is warmed up perfectly (I believe they ask you if you want it warmed up). [Side note, I usually order a coffee or cappuccino from a coffee shop in West 4th to pair beautifully with either my sweet potato or apple strudel knish] I highly recommend coming and spreading the word about this place. It's a historical foodie destination and should be shared one knish at a time.“
“Can't speak for anything else but bubble tea, leaving review here as the restaurant doesn't show up for having bubble tea but the board outside the restaurant listed them as selling bubble tea.Selection was relatively standard for a non-dedicated bubble tea location (powdered tea flavors, Thai tea / taro / etc., less than 10 flavors), they get 4 stars though because the bubbles did not taste too stale despite being after 7p on a weekday. Not 5 stars though for volume of bubbles, as the amount of bubbles was less than expected. However in this particular zone of NYC with limited bubble tea near the W4th train station stop, not bad, dare I say your best nearby option if you need some nearby bubble tea before getting on the train.Did not have to wait long at all for boba take-out so giving service 5 stars.“
“I stopped by Patis Bakery for an early morning meeting today. This establishment is located within the Arthouse Hotel and is a great spot on the Upper West Side for coffee, pastries, and getting some work done. The living room area is very well decorated and cozy. This place was packed on a Tuesday morning, so I'm not the only one who likes it here!“
“Let me tell you how i found this gem. We went to Bua, very famous thai place just beside this restaurant and had very bad appetizers and decided to leave. I left a review to theirs if you wondered what happend. It was raining, saw this place just beside so walked in.Pros:Very clean.Service was quick.Food was A+++++Dude seriously me and my friend finished our plates with no discussions.Cons:Drinks can be improved. We called the food “ amma chethi vanta” in our language Telugu, which is Mom’s home food. It was that good and gave home feels.Atmosphere gavd moroccan vibes.“
“Great food, great prices, very accommodating of our large (30 person) group and the timing of our pick-up. Just excellent all around!Vegetarian options: Lots!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating of a variety of dietary needs (vegan, celiac, etc)“
“This location has limited seating but is clearly a crowd favorite. I stopped by because I love pastrami and the reviews said so did Anthony Bordain. The pastrami sandwiches are approx. $24 but to be fair they are massive. I went for the half sandwich and half matze ball soup, which I poured into a bowl since I ordered takeout. Excellent soup, came with one large matzo ball. I particularly enjoyed the half loaf of rye bread which I proceeded to dip in the soup and the mustard packets. Not a fan of pickles but the lady in front of me ordered 6 extra ones so I am sure they're excellent. Overall, the sandwich was tasty and the meat was plentiful. It only took a few minutes waiting. I don't know that I would order their knishes or some of their other items not because they don't look good but because they pricey even for the neighborhood! $9 for a knish is outrageous. But if you're looking for a real NYC experience it's worth the wait for a table.“
“Probably the best kosher pizza I ever had hands down.I got two slices and fries absolutely delicious! The pizza itself is a thin slice with a nice char but also a good chew yummy sauce and not too sweet and then the cheese I don’t know what mix it is but so flavourful.Definitely gotta make my way back soon.“

As I ventured into this esteemed establishment, I was met with an ambiance that married sophistication with a whisper of urban edginess—a perfect backdrop for a culinary journey that promised to be as memorable as the city itself.Reserve Cut isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a testament to the love affair between food and craftsmanship. Each dish presented to me was a masterpiece, a symphony of flavors meticulously orchestrated to tantalize the senses. The steak, the pièce de résistance of the menu, was a revelation. Here was a dish that spoke of the chef’s reverence for quality and precision, a steak so impeccably cooked, it seemed to melt under the mere touch of a fork, imbued with a depth of flavor that could only result from a passionate dedication to culinary excellence. But what sets Reserve Cut apart isn’t merely its gastronomic brilliance; it’s the narrative woven into each bite. It’s a reminder of the city’s ability to surprise, to enchant, to transcend the ordinary. In a city that never sleeps, Reserve Cut stands as a beacon of culinary excellence, a testament to the art of fine dining. So, if you find yourself wandering the streets of New York, yearning for an experience that encapsulates the essence of the city, make your way to Reserve Cut. Here, amidst the clinking of glasses and the murmur of satisfied diners, you’ll discover not just a meal, but a celebration of New York’s indefatigable spirit—a feast not just for the body, but for the soul.“
“Absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh, delicious, and fair priced (considering it’s NY). We ordered the XL tuna melt bagel sandwich and the falafel platter.Service was good as well. If we lived closer, we would definitely be going there more often.“
“Food? Fantastic! Great pizza, side and salads.Service? Superb! Food was hot and ready for 20 peeps within minutes.Atmosphere? Amazing! The music choices were on point! We came to celebrate a marriage after the fact...the guy in charge overheard and started playing "death of a bachelor" ? perfect“
“After walking around the museum and constantly smelling the aroma of the café, I decided to come in for a bite. Noticed it was a very small sitting area but also an option to go to the counter and takeout.Servers were very friendly and quick to help. I ended up ordering a matzo ball soup, potato latkes, and a slice of chocolate babka.Food came out in a reasonable timeframe. The broth of the matzo ball soup was delicious and very filling. The soup itself was 18$.I'm giving four stars because when my potato latkes came out, it was just 5 potato chip sized latkes with a spoonful of sour cream and apple sauce. For 23$, I was very disappointed by the portion. Points for tasting exactly how my father used to make them. The chocolate babka was fresh and tasty.Overall an excellent experience and delicious food options!“
“I have been to La Brochette numerous times, and each time is a great experience. Its a perfect spot to celebrate your birthday or catch up with friend's. The food is delicious, and the service is great, with waiters checking in on you just the right amount of times.“
“I wandered by this place and went in to look around. I left with a large container of beef stew and some rice pilaf. It is truly tasty. The place has been there for over 50 years and there's a reason. No, they're not overly welcoming or solicitous but that's they way I like it! Great food done simply. So good“
“Really solid falafel, if not exploding with flavor, it was still delicious. Almost 5 stars but not quite because of playing it safe with the spices. Perfect ratio of tahini, tomatoes, cucumber, ask for pickles. Actually, you can request any item from their little display and it’s included…feta, marinaded garbanzos, etc. It’s quite good! Pricing is reasonable. Music is good. You just sit at a counter facing the quiet street.“
“Everything we ordered was great! Started with the muhammara and cauliflower tahini, both of which I'd recommend (especially the cauliflower). Then we shared the Shish Tawook (pictured); every bite from chicken to veggies to rice was flavorful and delicious. Surprised this place doesn't have more reviews because it's now one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants in the area“
“I Had what could possibly be the best experience at a restaurant. Let’s start off by saying that the Brisket is 10/10. The food here is amazing. The staff is so friendly. I was served by Edgar and he made it very memorable. You can tell that they go above and beyond to provide not only good food but a great atmosphere that will make you come back for more .“
“The food was on point I ordered a salad and it was the best I’ve ever had. By the way one of the chefs named Billy made my order and he was on point the delicacy and how he handled my food was excellent. And it seems like everyone was waiting for him to make their food so he’s a well-known favorite I can see…. Keep up the good work buddy. Also the server: name Jensen was was caring and kind. Thank you.“
“Mendy’s is a great deli, I always stop by for lunch if I’m in the area. I usually get the turkey pastrami sandwich and a soup. My wife likes the tuna on rye a lot and I bring her back one. They also have good hotdogs and potato knishes. I think the portions are very good too.“
“I love this place! Found it on my first day in NY and visited several times a day after that. Set just off times square it's a nice place to sit and watch the world go by or you can sit inside and enjoy a variety if different pastries/coffee and other foods. Staff are lovely too!“
