“I love the decoration, the atmosphere, the food was great and prices are very good. Everybody was friendly and my food came right away I was very hungry after partying a night before so that helped a-lot. The bartender Cynthia made me feel welcomed and informed me about all the specials and suggested to pick something from the brunch menu. The steak eggs and home-fries were to die for! neatly cooked and not old or spoiled (i know this because i cook at home regularly). “My party of three came in on a Saturday night and we got some delicious food! For our starter we got nachos and they were great! All the sauces//veggies added great flavors! Then we got The Mac’n Portobello and the BX cheesesteaks and they were both delicious!! All the food tasted great and filled us up. The workers were very welcoming and friendly. The only thing we didn’t love was the vibe. We kinda wish it was a little more cozy. “This pan-Latin restaurant is a must if you are in the area. The menu had several interesting Tapas selections, which could serve as appetizers, sides, or even your main course. There were also traditional main course options, as well. We ordered a variety of fish tacos, calamari salad, brussel sprouts, and of course guacamole and chips to whet our appetites. Each were scrumptious. I had the braised beef as my main course which was moist, delicious, and just the right portion. We shared churros for dessert, which were light, crunchy, and simply divine. Service was very attentive with plenty of staff. Valet parking was a nice touch, particularly since parking can be a challenge in the area. Overall, a very fun and enjoyable dining experience.“

We've done lots of traveling and that's something hard to come by away from home (California). The woman who served us was helpful and made sure we had all we needed. “Aesthetically appealing on arrival. When we first arrived there was no hostess and we stood around for about 5 minutes before we had to flag down someone to seat us but, once seating the food came fairly fast and and servers were more attentive. Food is decent pretty much the same across all of your establishment. The green sauce is always a hit. Also had the chicken empanadas and for some reason they have olives In them ? first time for everything I guess but I’ll stay away from the empanadas from now on.“
“I'd forgotten how much I loved the old Corona lunch turned Ambar Restaurant and recently rediscovered it while in the area craving Dominican food. Great new location with parking and tables instead of the old counter service. I was informed they only serve Sancocho on Monday and Wed. So we had the seafood soup and Oxtail stew instead. The seafood soup came with big pieces of lobster in the shell and was served with a lobster cracker. There was tons of shellfish and seafood as well in a rich delicous soup. The oxtail was divine. We came back two days later just for the Sancocho. Service was great. I highly recommend!“

Had the sample platter that came with all their signature items. Gentleman explained all the components that were delicious. We weren't rushed, but sometimes our server seemed absent as he was also assisting the outdoor diners. The only downside was the dessert. We ordered their bread pudding that was yummy but so thick and heavy.“
“Excellent Peruvian food in Port Chester. The ambiance is bare-bones, with huge TVs on either side of the dining room so that you will be watching something however your chair is facing. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is some of the best in Westchester. Everything is phenomenal, from the soft, warm, toasty rolls they bring you in the beginning, which come with both butter and a spicy green sauce, to the main courses. I am a big fan of fried fish, which is fried tilapia. It comes with either French fries and salad or rice and beans. I have also had the bistec milanese and sampled the lomo saltado- everything is delicious. The best side you can order here is the sweet maduros/platanos which come out very hot, but are some of the best I've ever had.“

“Stopped in late night to grab a bite. I’ve always ordered through Ubereats, this was a first dining in. The chicken chunks are always great along with the rice that comes with it. The shrimp and rice was okay. The rice was amazing however the shrimp lacked seasoning. Tasted like it was steamed without any additives. The drinks were mid, not too strong but not weak.Downside, the restaurant was empty and it was late and the music was extremely loud to where you can’t hold much conversation with whoever you may be sitting with. The DJ plays good music but does not juggle well.I still recommend you give it a try!“
