“Lovely hipster-like spot in the heart of the old town of Port Washington. Highly recommend sitting down and enjoying the meal (although tons of people ordered takeout while we were sitting there)First off, the actual restaurant is thoughtfully decorated anime style. Take it all in, it’s a legit experience. The food is amazing! The bao buns and the ramen were my favorite.Service was also incredible. This is a GREAT first date spot. There’s bar seating (which looks at the kitchen) with a good selection of liquor and overall vibe.“
“FOOD:The ramen I received was very tasty, the poached egg inside was amazing. The chicken was nice and the vegetables were good. There was corn, which I'm not a huge fan of, but overall good ramen. I also had dumplings, which were (of course) a huge upgrade from the packaged ones. To top it off, the lemonade was quite sour but tasted okay if you sipped a little at a time.INSIDE:It was very clean, no dirt at all and the tables and chairs were cleaned up. There were also cool things on the wall and a clean bathroom (that had funny jokes inside)OVERALL:Although it had some high prices, I really enjoyed this place, either if you never had Japanese food or if you did, this will be a nice idea for yourself and maybe even others. Totally recommended.“

“We came here looking to fix a craving for traditional ramen without the hassle of travelling down to NYC. Upon entering we were greeted and sat ourselves down. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We had to place our orders via our phones, which is convenient because they're arranged based on your seat, and it ensures that your order is taken and prepared correctly. We shared an order of Takoyaki and Pork Shumai, both of which came out fantastic. Presentation was perfect and the takoyaki was crispy and flaky on the outside, and soft on the inside. The texture of the shumai was excellent as well. For her entree my friend got the Duke's Shrimp Boil and added a boiled egg, nori, and scallions. I got the Chicken Chashu Ramen and added scallions, a boiled egg, bok choy, nori, and spicy crunchy garlic oil. We both tried each other's ramen and agreed that both were masterfully prepared. Portions were generous and filling and everything tasted as expected. The presentation was also superb and overall it was an amazing experience. For dessert I decided to try some of the mochi. I got three flavors: salted caramel, cake batter, and vegan lychee. The salted caramel and cake batter mochi were good. Nothing spectacular but good enough. The vegan lychee wasn't too good in my opinion. Maybe it's the fact that it was vegan, but didn't like it at all. The texture was crumbly and had a gritty mouth feel. For how good everything else was, I was a little disappointed with the mochi, but it's only a small part of the experience.Overall I think Duke's Ramen is definitely worth visiting for ramen connoisseurs. Besides the mochi, everything else was fantastic and affordable, with very fair portions. I should mention also that the restaurant was also very clean. I will definitely return to try their other offerings“
“This ramen place? It's not just a restaurant, it's a relationship. We've been seeing each other for 6 months now, and the spark hasn't faded! We dream about the broth, fantasize about the noodles... honestly, we should probably get their wallpaper on our phones at this point. The classic ramen is SO good, we haven't even dared to explore the rest of the menu. Maybe next time... or the next...“
“Great place to eat quick lunch in Port Washington. I’ve been here for over four times and tried different ramen and appetizers over the years. Service is friendly and efficient. Ramen is ok, takoyaki is very good! Lunch special is amazing value. It comes with appetizer, main dish with drink.Last time they offered us hot tea in a pot and that was special.“
“Nohara Ramen is the solid choice for Great Neck and the surrounding area. The Char Siu that is served with some of the ramen is tender and tasty. Many of the appetizers such as the Nohara Fries and fried chicken are well prepared. I’ve gotten to know the staff in this restaurant since we do take out from them each week and eat in once in a while.Good people making and serving good food. This restaurant survived through COVID based on their commitment and quality.“
“This place is amazing! I had the chili wontons and omg! The wonton is so juicy and the chili sauce is so tasty! Also had the fried chicken rice bowl Which was really good. The service is a bit slow because they're so busy. The ambiance is ok. No one actually sitting and eating. Luved it and can't wait to go back!“
“I absolutely love this sushi restaurant! Every time I order takeout, it's a delightful experience. My favorites are the takoyaki and shrimp tempura – they're always perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. The sashimi here is hands down the best I've ever had. It's always fresh and full of flavor. I highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys top-quality sushi and Japanese cuisine. A must-visit!“
“For pork tonkatsu (D10), the flavors were there. Pork cutlet was very thin, but juicy and had a good bite to it. The bowl came with a miso soup. As with all of the stalls at this H Mart food court, the complaint would be the value of the meal. The proportion of topping to rice just isn't there, and you are left with half a bowl of rice after having finished the tonkatsu. A thicker cutlet would solve this problem. The seating area is spacious, well lit, and clean.“
“Ended up here for dinner because my daughter really wanted ramen. We had the Kara-age chicken (my choice) and edamame (her choice) to start with, both were decent. We both tried a different ramen, I had a spicy one from the specials menu which I enjoyed, it was really good. They have a kids menu with affordable choices but of course my kid didn’t want anything from there and she only ate half her ramen and didn’t care for the pork belly or really most of the toppings. We finished off our meal with the mango pudding which I thought was amazing. I thought it was definitely kid friendly, lots of families with kids dining the day I went. Service was ok, a bit on the slower side but I guess they were a bit busy. Overall I thought it was pretty pricey and not 100% worth it which means next time I would look for a different ramen spot in the area to explore.“
