“Visited the Rabbit Hole Tavern tonight after hearing rave reviews and it did not disappoint! My chicken sandwich was probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I highly recommend visiting here if you are looking for a fantastic meal! We will definitely be back!“

“Went here a couple weeks ago with my daughter. The food was amazing! She asked for milk, which wasn't on the menu, but between the cooks and the waitress they accompanied her request and that was much appreciated. I will definitely go back for a fish fry to go! I want to try the chowder too!“

“Gluten free pizza and mocktails! What a fun place for food and drinks! They have a wood oven they make all their pizzas in, minus the gluten free. Gluten free is prepared and cooked separately to reduce cross contamination. Be prepared to wait +20 minutes for a gf pizza. I ordered the pizza special on the gluten free crust. Not bad! It's a bit thicker (not full Detroit but not NYC thin). Overall, not bad. I would order it again, but this wouldn't be my first choice for a GF pizza. The crust fine, a little dense and premade. They have a couple of fun mocktail options that aren't some overpriced lemonade junk. I would recommend going for the atmosphere and drinks (alcoholic or not). I'm excited to see what else I can try on the menu. The staff are so friendly and helpful! All my questions were answered and it was so fun watching everyone cook at the pizza oven! Street parking and small lot for customers, both free.“

“This place smelled of moth balls upon entering, its dingy as all hell and the poor bartender was overwhelmed from a pre concert crowd but this place was AWESOME. The wings and other fried goodies were excellent. It may be a biker bar some days, an Irish bar some days and possibly a music venue on others. I'm definitely gonna watch their concert list and make the drive back. If I lived in Rochester this place would be my home base. Free parking in back. If you're familiar with (or from) Buffalo, think old Pink meets Tudor lounge meets Brick Bar. With PARKING! If drinking mixed drinks order doubles. They use pint glasses...“

It made my event a great one.Vegetarian options: They were more accommodating to make sure some items didn't even touch anything with meat being served.Dietary restrictions: They made a wonderful cauliflower pizza for my gluten free guests.“

“I've been to this place on several occasions over the past couple of years, and today, I have to say the food was disappointing ?. Fish fry did not taste fresh and had a slimy consistency, and left a metal flavor. I have always been happy with their food and service, but today was a disappointing experience.“

“This place is ridiculously good. I don't live in Rochester but have to travel here for work a few weeks a year and have a company card to expense meals. As you can imagine I've ate at allot of restaurants in Rochester and this one is in my top 3. It can be a bit pricey but the food is Awsome, and the drinks are ridiculously large and boozy. I ate here tonight and ordered a margarita and watched the waitress probably pour 10 oz of tequila into a fishbowl margarita for $14. IYes they charge 18% gratuity. That doesn't bother me, I usually tip more then that anyhow. Although very stylish and moderne inside the location is in the hood. Personally this doesn't bother me but putting it out there in case someone is adverse to a little urban grit.“

“Stopped by for lunch and had the steak sandwich. Absolutely Delish. Grilled hoagie roll, slathered in sweet sauteed onions, peppers and shrooms. Umami City for sure. Should have gone for the fries because the mac salad was supremely MEH! It's a horse race crowd with 6 screens and OTB on site. Great service behind the bar and really good food. Dinners are great for all the family.Parking: Room for 20+- .“

“Spent an unusual Easter Sunday evening in this bar after most of Rochester seemed to be closed. I was glad to hear that everyone had done due service to attending church that day. Great bartenders and interesting chat in a well run local bar that seemed welcome to all. Thanks to Don, who has not given in to the blue and brown.“

“The Angry Goat Pub may just be my favorite bar in Rochester. The food and service alone make this one of the best neighborhood bars you can find. As a self-proclaimed garbage plate enthusiast and expert, Angry Goat Pub is in my top 3 favorite plates in Rochester. The main difference between this plate and others you can find in Monroe County is that the homefries are swapped for garlic Parmesan fries, and the meat sauce has goat cheese stacked on top. It's just so good and filling- I had it yesterday and I still haven't felt the feeling of hunger in almost 24 hours. Also importantly, Angry Goat's kitchen is open very late, which is the perfect time to eat one of their plates. The service has also consistently been great. Sometimes at dive bars getting served on a busy night can be a hassle, but here we have been treated very well and served efficiently. There has also been live music here on a pretty consistent basis, but I haven't seen anything like that here. For those looking for a neighborhood bar in the South Wedge, this is definitely the spot to be. Street parking can be a bit of a hassle, so just be careful if driving in.“

“Great atmosphere with very good pool players. Melissa(Mel) has a unique touch of service - she ensures every drink rests beautifully on a coaster. I have observed her overtime, and she's meticulously consistent at it. Even when you change seats, she brings you a new coaster. This subtle but professional etiquette makes her standout. Overall, service is excellent!!“

“The bar tender Austin, is HIM!Not only does he provide amazing service, I watched him run out of the bar, leaping the fence bushes and a 10 yard gap to save children from a burning bus. It was insane. (This is a joke)For real Bar Bantam has incredible drinks, amazing staff that genuinely care you have a good experience. “We had a fish fry on a Friday night and wow it was definitely worth the money. We stayed for a band after. The Bartenders were friendly and I'll definitely be checking it out again. Fish fry night is popular so reservations or getting there early is a must.Parking: Parking was up the street but worth the walk.“

“I haven't been here since before Covid and they were on Titus Ave. It was family night for a fish fry. I remember them having the best fish fry's. We got 4 orders with fries and coleslaw. The fish fry's and fries were very good. The fish was a good size and very crispy which I really like. The fries were good. The coleslaw was terrible. Idk what they did to it but we couldn't eat it. Non of us ate it it was that bad. It sucks but I won't be going back for their fish fry just because of the bad coleslaw. We also ordered a appetizer of potato skins with was very good. “Really nice place to grab food and drinks! Extra shout out for the waffle fries and tater tots!!!! There are some arcade games and several tables + bar seats. Staff is very nice and efficient! There's a parking lot in the back but also plenty of street parking.“

“I was only in there one time, but I was treated very, very well. The woman that worked there said she had been working there for quite some time. She was an excellent conversationist. And I liked the fact that they have a separate smoking room. Because I don't smoke and I would not even be in there if they did smoke but the atmosphere was great. The people were great and the chicken wings were very, very good. I ought to know. I used to have my own restaurant called Ron's famous wings. And I won several awards for my chicken wings back in the day.So thank you everybody for being such a great host.And I will be back again 1 day.I only live walking distance from you“
